PRO-AQUA This Company is using the same scam tactics as the national company. They promise you rebates on food, restaurants, gas, and then when you send in the receipts, you find the company has gone out of business. I spent 6 months trying to track the company down after they moved, only to be told that they are not required To update their new name and location to previous customers. Why do they give a 5 year parts and labor guarantee if they are not there to honor the contract. The latest scam is they will give you $1000.00 worth of food coupons, but they do not tell you that you have to send $2.00 plus postage for processing for each $10.00 worth of cupons that you wish to receive. It would be cheaper to clip the coupons out of the paper yourself, and not pay the $2.00 fee + postage+checking Fees.
These people are con artists selling a german, overpriced vaccum cleaner, by telling you its a air cleaner

I purchased the Pro Aqua years ago and regretted spending so much money on it fairly quickly. As an air filter, it’s noisy! Even when turned down and pulling in less air, it’s noisy. The salesman called it “white noise.” I hate white noise. I want quiet or music. After awhile, with all the moisture involved for filtration and vacuuming, it started blowing mildew through the house—Something to consider if you live in a humid climate. Mildew is NOT healthy! Also, it’s accumulated inside the motor housing, which is impossible to sanitize without taking it apart! Maybe that’s why the salesman was pushing the fragrances, which had no listed ingredients. Clean isn’t supposed to have a smell.

To empty the bucket of all the dust and debris from cleaning, the sludge has to be dumped somewhere. There’s no way all that sludge is going down my sink! So I had to dump it in the yard and hose out the bucket, then hose off the bottom of the machine after when cleaning my house. How was I going to do that in the winter if temperatures are freezing? Plus, I had to pick up the dried sludge a day or so later with a poop scooper to throw it away. What a lot of extra work to add to the task of housecleaning !

The salesman, who several people in the Richardson/Dallas area have mentioned here, did show up a couple of days later when I called that the vacuum wasn’t picking up already. Turns out there’s a gooseneck that clogs easily at the connection of the floor brush attachment. I tried to get out of the financing and return the machine, but they and the salesman weren’t going to make good, so the piece of $#&% takes up room in my closet. The little room filter that is much quieter—which Scott Ramos said he would throw in since I was buying the big machine, but later I discovered was added to the total—accumulated red algae and had to be cleaned daily. Not just changing water, but scrubbing-all-the-surfaces-daily cleaning.

The reason I’m just now writing about this product and sale experience is I had a need for a wet vac this past weekend. Yay! It did it’s work and it’s back to collecting dust in the closet.

I purchased a Pro Aqua three months ago. I am still trying to get the beater bar attachment for the carpets replaced since it never worked after the third day I had it. I contacted them four times so far and could not get the salesman to come back. Yes the unit does clean the air but I bought it mainly to get rid of the dust and dirt in my carpet. My old vacuum is doing the job that I paid good money for the Pro Aqua and wish that I still had my hard earned money. I told them last call that I wanted my money back and they could have their machine since I can't get someone out here. All I am getting is the run around with numerous excuses. Save your money and don't buy from door to door salesmen. I should have learned my lesson but was stupid and let them talk me into buying their unit.

here's the problem with using something that sucks as powerful as this, without an exhaust filter. It blows 95% of what it took in right back out. Very little of it actually attaches to the water. circulating in the base..enough does to form a small film in you water. Basically it's taking the old "light" cigarette scam and transferring it to a vacuum. Same thing, you're still getting just about the same amount of tar and nicotine, but thinking you've significantly "cut down",

You could..leave a tray of water lying out around your house for a day or so, come back and inspect it, and find the same film on it without doing anything. Now did doing that, significantly cut down on dust, mold and pollen in your house? This actually makes more dust, pollen, and and mold airborne! Here's the proof! Actually leave out trays of water! Leave them out for days without using this vacuum, then refill and use it for a few days..those trays will be significantly MORE filmy after a few days of you using their "air purifier"

I purchased a Pro Aqua 6 months ago and I love it! My husband is a combat veteran from Iraq and one of his health issues is 30% loss of breathing capacity. He used an inhaler several times a week and at times a steroid inhaler when needed. We have 2 dogs and you know dogs shed. With my old vacuum you could smell the dog smell as well as see the dirt particles in the air. We could not keep up with cleaning and replacing the Hepa filter which is spendy. My Pro Aqua has no smell, no dirt particles in the air and no filter needed! My husband no longer uses his inhaler! I am amazed at how much dirt and dog hair this machine can pick up with one passover when my old machine could not do it with 6 passes over the same area. Its a little spendy but really worth it. The bad experience would be the salesman not the product. Our salesman was professional but not pushy. He did everything he said he would do.

I purchased my pro aqua 6 months ago and I love it! My husband is a combat veteran from Iraq and one of his health issues is 30% loss of breathing capacity. He used an inhaler almost daily and a steroid inhaler when his breathing got really bad. We have 2 dogs and they of course shed. This vacuum picks up dirt and dog hair like no other vacuum I have ever used. Think about it. When I vacuum, the dirt and hair go through water which keeps it from coming out the exhaust! There was no way we could keep up with keeping a Hepa filter clean. The dog smell; and dirt particles were easy to see. My husband no longer uses his inhaler unless we go to a high altitude. My dogs get vacuumed with the attachments and enjoy the body massage! It was spendy but worth it! The seller, not the product is at fault. My salesman did all that he said he would do.

Pro Aqua's separator is a copy of rainbow's, the separator have some huge gaps! The dust will go into the motor! Using such vacuum cleaner, will have no use at all, because as you are sucking the dust in, it will come out from another side!

The cord gets burning hot and I have to use a pot-holder to unplug it. The pro-Aqua Machine my friend bought about a week later... blew and belched smoke through out the house not even a month after they bought it.. Same rep, same company. The agent that sold it to my client, is no where to be found. So much for a 5 year warranty. They now have worthless machines that they spent $900.00 on.
Bad news? This is NOT a great machine. Two of my clients bought the same deal. There's no one around when they break down. So... go ahead and tell me how great a machine this is. The company states they do not give refunds and they are sorry for our inconvenience, however they have many Pro-Aqua Vacs with, the same warranty if I would like them to send out another representative to give us another demonstration.
Excuse me!
Don't go telling me about this being a great machine when the company refuses to take responsibility for them once the contract is signed and their rep is out the door driving down the road. I've tried to get a hold of that representative since the day after he sold it to my client and that was last August 2011.
I will never recommend this company or machine to anyone! To think the Rep dropped the price down from 1, 500.00.
Pro-Aqua Vacuums- DON'T BUY THEM! FRAUD, SCAM, LIARS, BUYERS BEWARE!

OK, so the machine might be great, I'm hoping of getting one myself but the office SUCK! I was a stay at home mom looking for a little income. I saw their ad online, called the office and got "hired" after the first day. I get the point that you do have to work to make money, that's a no brain-er, but seriously they go back and forth on how you get paid. To get the base pay of $552 (which sounds too amazing right?) you have to do 12 demos in people's homes and get 50 recommendations. Just like Cutco, they make you go through your family and friends first, and they promise that they'll give you leads later after you "practice." However, they never do give you leads, you have to go door to door handing out flyer's. Fine, whatever I did it to get paid, which I never did get paid. I worked for them for 2 weeks, handing out TONS of flyer's, not stopping till I literally had no more to hand out. No calls. Then I had no gas AT ALL! I couldn't even start my car. I told them I had to go part time, so I can work somewhere else just for a little bit to get some gas money, but I was not quitting. Then they harassed me with calls, calling me constantly telling me I have to show up everyday at the office for a mandatory meeting, so that I can "learn" more, which we never learned anything because they threw us out all together to hand out flyer's while they try to hire more people. They also told me the first day that the only mandatory meeting I had to attend was on Saturday. I told them I could not go, because I had to work to get gas money, I wanted to go part-time like they claim to have. Then they said that I have to at least show up to the office two days out of the week, instead of six. Yet, they still harassed me with calls expecting me to show up everyday. To top it all off, I didn't get 12 demos so I knew I was going to get the $552, but I did make 1 sell which was suppose to be at least $200. Again, they went back and forth, they told me because I could not deliver the ProAqua to my aunt (who I sold it to), I was not going to get paid. Instead, another guy at the office was going to get paid my $50 for delivering it. I wasn't even going to get $200, even though it was MY sell through MY aunt, I DID NOT get paid because I didn't deliver it. COMPLETE BULL ###!

Scopt Ramos lies all of the time
no pre set appoint ments you have go door to door signing people up for $1, 000.00 cash/
Most people won't sign up.
you have to hang final notice flyers on doors. There was never a first notice. very few people call, a lot are upset. you have to hang 100 a day.
12 demos a week to get your $552.00 which is impossible.
don't do 12 you are on straight commission.of $200.00 a sale
No 90 day management training
No health insurance in 90 days.
they hire every week because no one stays.
Scott Ramos hates women workers.
If you get a paycheck it may not be good; he writes a lot of bad checks.
He has been with Fairfax, filterqueen, ocean blue, hyla, rainbow and pro aqua, and he says they are all the best. After he leaves a company he talks bad about them.
I promise you that if you start with him you will not stay.He only has one guy that has stayed and he is 65 years old.
Everyone that has ever worked there does not say anything good about Scott Ramos.
He is a bad businessman and a lot of people call him a crook.

Pro Aqua is a great product. It does what it's supposed to do. The problem is when you work for a crack head and a thief who writes you bad checks, if he pays you at all. Beware the Dallas, Tx. distributor. If his lips are moving, he's lying

I just purchased mine yesterday and absolutely LOVE it and the salesman was awesome, he was very good at the demonstration, and very knowledgeable about the product even though he only started a few months ago. He threw in a FREE 120 dollar Pro aqua room purifier, (we will be getting 2 additional ones since we referred 10 people and 2 agreed to see a demo already) a box of 4 free scents, and the attachments that don't come with the standard unit. His boss the owner of the company even brought a 5th of gentlemen's jack daniels after my husband joked with him and said you need to buy me a drink after buying this from you, the independent owner asked okay what do you drink? and hubby said JD and he came back to our house and gave him the bottle, and talked with us awhile LOL, We had a superb demo, ( Thanks Josh) the people were awesome and the product is AMAZING my entire house smells great and feels cleaner. I live in Pennsylvania and my Dealer was out of Halifax PA. Great guy, great salesmen and I wish them many more sales, and good fortune!

Pro aqua Richardson Texas is not an employment ad you want answer. They say $552.00 a week, but you have to do 12 demos a week to get that. And 12 demos a week is impossible. They sat they give you leads but you have to go door to door signing people up fo a $1, 000.00 drawing which is never given away. You also have to hang flyers that say final notice. There is never a first notice. People call on the final notice only to be talked to by an appointment setter, which sets very few. This final notice upsets a lot of people. They want you to put 100 final notice a day on people's doors. They say you get health insurance after ninety days. Which is another lie. They have to hire every week.No one stays with this company because they make no money. If you don't hit your 12 demos you are on straight commision, which is very low: like $200.00 a sale.So no one makes any money and spend a lot on gas. When they hire you they say you are in management training for 90 days. No one stays that long.Scott Ramos, the Distributor, Is a crook that has been with a lot of companies. Like Fairfax, Rainbow, Filterqueen, Ocean Blue and Pro aqua. He has said that they all are the best.Fair fax is the only compant that he did real good.Very few women stay with him. This is a bad deal. I worked for him for 3 weeks and nothing he said was true so stay away from him.

Can I have yours or buy it cheap since you have no use for it?! Worth a try right? :) I have always hated working for companies that make you do high pressure selling. Worked for an apartment complex and would feel like an idiot harassing people following the companies rules. They had secret shoppers check up on us often to make sure we were doing it. That was a waste of my time. I rented every apartment I showed without high pressure or calling them every day.

I have worked for Pro Aqua for over 2 years and am VERY happy with the one I have in my house and the ones I have sold just because people get a rude or pushy salesman or a bad distribtor does not mean they are all that way. I am in Northeast Missouri and run in Iowa and Ill alot and have NO complaints on the product and I have sold hundreds of them. The reason I bought one was my wife and son had allgeries and asthma bad it has helped them alot with there breathing. So if the machine is junk like people say on here then why is my son and wife breathing better?

Attention:

I'm sure these are great vacuums. I love my Rainbow e2. But DO NOT buy one of these from a door to door salesman. They are WAY overpriced. If you want a vacuum like this : Hyla, Rainbow, etc, you can search ON or OFF the internet and find a reputable dealer who specializes in rebuilding/ reconditioning these machines making them as good as the day they were built at a fraction of the price.

That being said. These separator water filtration vacuums are awesome. They really do work great if used properly

My wife and I reside in Pasco WA, and currently own a Rainbow system. The product has done the job we expected it to do with the exception of longevity in relation to price. In late 2010, we were looking to replace it with either a Kirby or Pro Aqua system, and decided on viewing a demo of the Pro Aqua system first as we felt this was our first choice. Our experience with an in-home demonstration was less than desirable for several reasons. The individual who arrived at our sanctuary gave both my wife and myself an awkward feeling. As a subset, awkward in the manner we were not comfortable having this salesperson in our home, and we felt like we were being "cased". The saleperson apparently was less interested in showcasing his product then wanting to know how big our flat screen was and how much our surround system was worth. After several rounds of questioning, we really wanted him to leave but let him eventually get to the demonstration. Upon completion, we informed the saleperson we wanted time to think about the purchase but he was persistant in letting us know there was not a better product on the market all the while we just wanted him to leave. If this wasn't bad enough, we received phone calls daily for the next week pressuring us to make a purchase. I finally had to make it known under no certain terms he was to not call our house again or we would both contact the police and file a formal complaint. Does Pro Aqua screen there salepersons? If I did not know any better, I would be about 100% certain this individual has either a lengthy police record or even prison time. A word for the wise, be very careful who you invite into your home, near your personal belonging and most importantly your children.

I have a pro aqua and i hate it. This vacuum now sits in the corner and i went back to my dyson. It is a mess to clean. And the sales people are ridiculous. This also goes for rainbow sales people. I will never allow another sales person in my house after the experience i dealt with. The vacuum has broken several times and when i call to get it fixed they tell me to super glue it back together myself or give me some excuse as to why they won't cover that part, also the last time i called the phone had been disconnected and i had to call the loan company to get the correct phone number. These vacuum cleaners are horrible.

I have just started to use the Pro Aqua. It is a fantastic product. The dealer in my area (Syracuse, NY) is for giving gifts with no obligation to buy, not using high pressure sales techniques, and never calling on references without the client/customer calling first and asking. The structure has some aspects of multilevel marketing, but its primary focus is on the sales that prove it is the best. I was so impressed with the company I started working for them, and after a week I am having a wonderful time, and getting a lot of positive feedback from my family and friends. An in home demonstration will cost you nothing and the unit will speak for itself, it is a great product!

My experience with Pro-Aqua couldn't be any different than what I'm reading here. I started out as a customer and the salesperson asked me if I was interested in making some extra money. I'm a stay-at-home mom and I'm always looking for another source of income so I said sure why not...I trained as a dealer myself and now I make an extra $1000 - $2000 a month selling part time! I couldn't be happier. Yes there is pressure...when you sell something you are trying to persuade somebody to buy it!

It seems like a lot of the people on here are having trouble with the offices...a lot of these offices used to sell Hyla, rainbow etc. and were just as trashy then...my office is great, run by a real stand-up guy who has never been shady or sleazy.

My expierence is different. I was employed as a subcontractor 1099 like ny of the salespeople. The proaqua sells for [protected]. They lied and said they wanted air-specialists and then during training you find it is a vacume cleaner as well. The product as far as air cleaning foes is increible. The real cost to the customer is 1200 the difference the salesperson gets. I thought one of the owners here isn Syracuse NY was a jerk. They have ads running constantly because they can't keep people. They have threew different company names which I thought to be odd. I reall have a bad taste for them due to they really don't care about the people. They just want the sale

My nephew went to work for this company in Dallas, TX this past week. He came home everyday with horror stories about the owner (Scott) of the retail store in Richardson, TX. I was appalled at his act of bigotry and sexual harrassment comments made while training new employees. And to give new hires a notebook with scripts two days before throwing them out in public to do demonstrations is truly unethical and immoral business practices. Finally, to hear him tell the receptionist to lie to a customer on the phone that she was randomly picked for a home demostration and that she would win a weekend get away if she would just let the employee do a demo was unbelievable. I believe that the Pro Aqua equipment is outstanding but the independent retailer (Scott) needs to be sent back to the devil.

Yeap! Pro Aqua is a scam, know because I was working for the Company. I just quit yesterday after four days. The Manager (authourized dealer in Dallas, TX) Scott Raymos, promised us ( the Reps.) $552 a week, he said we would only be working 4 1/2 to 6 hours a week, but it's more like 8-12 hours a week, and continued to come up with reasons he would not pay a rep i.e., if I were to leave the dirt pads I use for demonstation puposes in the client home and not bring them as proof, or if the show did last an hour and a half. But the worse part was he took copies of ours social security cards and ID's, and had us sign something that says I go to jail if I don't bring his equipment back within 72 hours of not calling or showing up to his office, yet we never signed anything saying I was an independent contractor, or was emploued by this company. Besides that he said "people from Texas are dumb".

it seems to me that every thing on the market has a evil, the pro aqua cleaning system does just what it says.it gets the [censor] out of the air. the carpet, our homes.yes its a shame that some people have had bad dealings with some people.what, do you really belive that you would'nt.this is a great product, many will try to capitalize on that no matter what.it;s not the first time or the last.we as consumers have seen this again&again.the main thing is that we are now able to somewhat control our own air in our homes.

Pro Aqua and the company are trash. They rip off their own reps and customers. All the positive posts must be from them because no one who was dealing with these con guys would ever post something positive. The machine looks good but do not blinded of the looks. It is cheap built and breaks down easy. If you want to find out the truth the hard way just buy one of their units or get set up with them. Otherwise run away.

The Pro Aqua vacuum cleaner is amazing. My favorite part of this device is the air purification system. It cleans all of the dust out of the air. You can even add scents to the water and make the air smell like fruit or any other scent you want. The Pro Aqua has become an integral part of my life.

i went to work (or thought i was going to go to work) for a pro aqua dealer here in Dallas, Tx. only to walk out of the training on the 3rd day realizing this was high pressure sales and everything that had been brought to the forefront was only later to be explained as an impossible task to get paid and remain employed.
