Price difference!
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 3 votes
I ordered a floral arrangement on May 13/07. The emailed receipt shows $67.48. Mastercard charge is $80.98. When I called to find out why the difference, a very rude customer Service woman informed me that original receipt was in US funds. This was not noted on the receipt. The mastercard doesn't show an exchange rate, this was obviously calculated at an intercompany rate. When converted, I was charged 20% exchange rate. That's exorbitant! The company is located in BC, I'm in ON. I won't be doing business with this company again.

Over charged on credit card approximately 20% from confirmed sale price. Was told ( after lengthy delays on the phone and 5 calls ) that this was due to exchange rate conversion, however, flowers were quoted in U.S. dollars not canadian. In fact, there was no mention of "canadian dollars" on the web site.

Recommend against using due to deceptive business practices and poor customer service.

I should know to check these sites before dealing with these companies so my own stupidity cost me $15. but it sounds like I got off easy.
I called e florist yesterday to have flowers delivered. At the time they asked if they could make substitutions and I said no. I had ordered " a pot of sunflowers" exactly what are you going to substitute? Sunflowers are sunflowers. Well, she said sometimes they're not in stock. If that's the case, they shouldn't be on the site in my opinion, however, alas they couldn't deliver because they didn't have them(BIG SURPRISE).
I called last night at 5 minutes to 5:00(they close @ 5:00) and was on hold until 5:10 at which time they changed the recording to say they were closed(very professional).
They called this morning and said they could order sunflowers, however it could be a couple of days!! If I cancelled the order it would cost $15. so I said OK. I then got on the internet and looked at reports of e florist and called them back to cancel my order. I see on their website that a $15. charge MAY be applied. I'm guessing it always is. I will now call a local florist and will NEVER again deal with any of these "fly by night" outfits.
I'm sure this will probably not be the end of this saga. I'm guessing my Visa will be wrong. I'll post again if it is.
LIVE AND LEARN at least this lesson only cost $15. I hate to think what the bouquet would have looked like!!!!!!!

I am livid with this company. I ordered flowers for my Mother who is on crutches, and she NEVER GOT THEM! I was charged 45 dollars and for nothing! This is a bogus site. I am turning them into the local news station. I hope that they take the story and crack theses wise guys.
