The Web site you see above are illegal sites all the same but under different names i recently brough a box set from the TVDVDSTORE and it has come from China, it is not reputable merchant quality and is totally illegal. i have payed via paypal and opened a dispute agaisnt the so called company. He calls himself mike this may only be one of many names his details are as follows:

I agree I recently bought the Mission impossible complete seasons and these are bootleg dvds not very good and some of them are the same dvds. Stay away from these people.

COMPLETE RIP-OFF…
I bought 'Judging Amy' from POWERDVDSTORE.COM - 138 episodes on 20 DVD discs at US$ 86.95 + shipping = US$ 104.34.
It is set up so you believe it's a US based company, but the actual discs are shipped from China.
On both shipping slip and proforma invoice the sender's data is written in an unreadable hand, whereas the recipient's is of course readable.

'Excellent video and audio quality'
is what they promise - what you get is a smudgy picture, presumably recorded on VHS and later transferred to DVD, having TNT and PG TV station logos and program spots!!! In short, a low quality pirate copy…
Ok, 7-8 hours of program on a DVD should have warned me - on the other hand it could be possible with a 3:4 aspect ratio NTSC signal without multi-language, subtitles and extras.

It gets much worse…
Already the first disc failed in the middle of episode 2 and episodes 3-8 are inaccessible and unplayable no matter what, on both a DVD player and a PC that normally accepts everything - the disc actually crashes the PC's player!
Disc 2 seems ok - I haven't played it through, but at least the episodes are accessible.
Disc 3 failed at episode 3 and episodes 4-7 are inaccessible and unplayable!
Need I go on…

I'm going for my money back. As soon as there is some progress - or the lack of same - I'll post the background and proceedings in the various boards and groups.

- the item was delivered from China - the plastic covers were broken, the packaging destroyed
- the dvd display quality is dismal
- the sound is virtually zero; I need to put the volume at maximum to hear a whisper
- I've watched 7 dvds from the 32-set so far - 2 out of 7 are not working
- I think this was recorded originally on someone's back room VCR (you can see TV messages regarding christmas shows etc) and then it was transferred on DVD
- This is the most pathetically low quality item I have ever seen

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY:

- This message will be posted on the internet to protect others from making the mistake purchasing anything from you!

On Apr 30, 2008 I ordered the Hart to Hart series on DVD from Powerdvdstore.com. To date I have received discs 11-17 only. When I wrote to Powerdvdstore they told me to turn the discs over to see if the missing discs were on the other side (??????). The package was clearly labeled "discs 11-17" which means discs 1-10 are in another package. Finally they agreed to re-order the missing discs 1-10 on May 23 to be mailed out May 24 (yeah, sure). The indicated it would take 10-14 WORKDAYS. It has not been 17 WORKDAYS and still don't have my discs. I asked what STATE they're in and the name of the PRESIDENT of the company. I'm waiting for a response. This set cost me $89.99+10.00=$99.99 however I was charged $100.75. They told me the additional $.76 was a charge from my bank (duh! no way). I have friends that are also series collectors but will not refer them to this website for fear of getting ripped off. Buyer beware truly applies here. I'm just waiting...

I was interested in purchasing the "Gunsmoke" and "How the West was Won" TV series starring James Arness. I wondered how www.powerdvdstore.com could sell quality DVD sets at bargain prices and make a profit.
Their web site said they could sell the DVD sets at bargain prices because the series were in the public domain. I asked the U. S. Copyright Office [www.copyright.gov]: Are these series in the public domain? The copyright office replied: No they are not in the public domain. So, buyer beware!

yeah i spent £70 on the complete twilight zone box set from dvdmediastar.com website to find that their were BAD COPIES. i only visited the website cause their was a link to it on EBAY, im just thankful to know i didnt spend any more money there. you've just got to be aware that if somethings to good to be true then it most definately is.

I purchased the complete "Chips" series from 1 to 6 and have the same problem the discs that I have tried are just about unplayable. The picture quality is very poor but the audio is fine. My package also arrived from Hong Kong and the plastic containers which housed the discs were broken beyond repair. I have sent 2 E Mails to store@powerdvdstore.com but have had no response from them. I think something should be done to prosecute whoever is responsible for this "scam" and the websites removed. A lot of people (including myself) have spent a lot of money to obtain the goods only to receive 3rd rate quality. People should be refunded what they have sent. By the way we found the website via Amazon.com and they should know better to advertise these chancers. Gareth

I too was taken, I bought the complete series of Jag all 40 discs came from Hong Kong but I was lead to believe they were from US. All discs are not readable on my dvd player but some are readable on my PC .looks to me like they were taped from Tv . very poor quality

I to was a dumy. i was on a survey, took the trial offer and got scamed. there were no phone numbers on the offer but i thought there would be with the trial shippment.NOT, only a web sight. when i went to bring it up, all that would come up was a picture of the bottle of colonsmartcleasner, when i clicked on the bottle it would take me to another sight. i tried several times the same thing kept happening. So there i found a phone number so i called it. they kept saying they had nothing to do with colonsmartcleasner.needless to say i was very angry.then i thought well when it comes in i would just put on it return to sender and wait for a refund. well it never happend... my bank said they couldnt do anything for thirty days from the day i sent it back. so i waited filled the dispute and waited four days for the results.. well then i get the results from my bank... NOT HAPPY my bank sends me some copys off the internet from colonsmart stating there is only one way you can receive a refund.you have to follow four steps. one of thoughs steps are they do not except Return to sender packages as a way for refund. what they dont say is that package i sent back is theirs now and you get nothing for $88.98.now it said nothing about ANY policys when i ordered the free samples.and when i got the free samples it had nothing of any policys either. so im out the money and the FAKE product(COLONSMARTCLEASNER). OH DID I MENTION YHE PRODUCT DID NOTHING... I TOOK THE SUPPOSEDLY FREE SAMPLES AND HAD NO REACTION !!! if there is anyone out there that can help me get my money back.i would be very happy... oozman.com@live.com TO EVERYONE------ STAY AWAY FROM COLONSMARTCLEASNER !!! I ordered the Love Boat DVD Collection on line. I thought it was the PowerDVDStore.com (which is who I received an email from). I got the collection and the whole set is horrible. The screen shakes and the sound is very low. Also, the picture quality lacks any kind of decent picture. I have been trying to get my money back and sent an email to them, got a response telling me to have my credit card company do a charge back. My credit card company says I need to have them on the line in order to do that. They gave me the phone number for whom the charge was made. You cannot do anything over the phone, they told me I had to email my request. I did and in 4 days did not hear anything back. I called the number again and "FRANKO" (who was one of the rudest people I have ever talked to) told me I must have some kind of spam thing so that is why I have not heard a response. I asked him if I could do something over the phone and he said no and that it wasn't his problem if the email does not come through. He told me to sign up for Yahoo. He surely was NOT willing to help me at all. I believe this is a fraud, especially when no one will work with you on the phone. His response to that question was "I don't know if you just need to hear a voice, but it is an easy process to get your refund by email." I am filing a complaint with my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau to have this company investigated. My shipment also came from China with writing that was not in English and therefore not legible. FRANKO also told me that they have their DVD's shipped from all over the world and he did not care where mine was shipped from. I was so insulted in talking to this man. When I told him I would never buy another product from them he said "GREAT" He would not let me talk to anyone else either. To me that means there is something to hide. I just want my money back and will order from another company that is willing to back what they sell!
WHAT KIND OF COMPANY CAN GET AWAY WITH DOING THIS TO THE COMMON CONSUMER?
NEVER AGAIN!

I bought the Adam 12 series and found the dvds crashing after watching one epesoide.
How did i overcome this i copied them to dvd-r and all is working.
Yes i had some DVD s that didnot work, but they exchanged them and they all work, i still have to recopy them to watch the whole dvd.
Quality yes some are not the best.
People you get what you pay for.
Am i happy that i have every epesoide of Adam 12 a show i grew up with when i was a kid.
Sure am.

At the beginning of august i ordered the complete series of murder she wrote and columbo complete set which cost me £109.00, what i got was totally unwatchable, some of the murder she wrote dvds didnt even play on the dvd, i e-mailed them and told them this and they said they would send out the ones that didnt work, well a few weeks went past and i received the replacement dvds, but again they were rubbish copies, i then e-mailed them and told them that i didnt order copies, they replied that they were collector/fan versions, i was so annoyed i e-mailed them and said that i wanted a full refund as i didnt get what i ordered, they replied saying that i had two options, i could send all the dvds back which had to be sent back with strict instrustions, which would cost me more money, or i could keep the dvds and recieve $70 refund, so i opted for this as i thought anything was better than nothing, that e-mail was sent on the 1/11/2008 so i am still waiting for a reply.POWERDVDSTORE.COM IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF -STAY CLEAR
