ripoff

Company information:

I agreed to a free trial of the Power Colon Cleanse, for which I had to pay only the shipping and handling fee of $5.95. I haven't receive anything and I'm beeing billed with the following notice :
«...As you have not emailed us that you would like to return us the unused portion of the pills at the end of 15 days, we thank you for the acceptance of our product and we have now charged your order PC132009 $79.95 for the product received... »

The product isn't even received...So they play with the mail system to ripoff honest potential buyer? Their pratice does'nt look very up front :
when (or should I say If?) I receive the trial package it can be returned for a full refund (so they say). But the way they go about it and you never receive the trial package their policy of having to return unused portion of the pills (that you do not have to return) permit them to disregard a complaint and keep the money and the product that was never even sent... I'm calling this intentional deceit.

Just a fair warning to you, you will not be given a full refund either. I was told that when they recieve the prodcut back from me, they will be deducting a 20% restocking fee from the full price of the product before they refund the money to my credit card..

I also received the same email after agreeing to a "free trial of this stuff" which by the way is absolute garbage and they should not be allowed to even market it. I have contacted my bank and have put in a dispute to the payment to which the bank will now be investigating this compay and if found fraudulent i will receive my money back. I suggest anyone who sees any ad for this site and their so called wonder products stays right away from it as you will be ripped off!!

I also received the same email as above except i did receive the product, but it may as well be an empty pill for all the good it does. I only went into it because it is advertised as a free trial and there is no mention of having to pay anything at all, otherwise i would not have done it in the first place. I have now lodged a payment dispute with my bank who are now going to investigate this company and if they prove to be fraudulent then i willget my money back. But i will be putting this every i can now on the net to warn all those other unsuspecting people out there

The only way that you can stop these thieves, is to cancel your credit card. If you now have Mastercard, open an account with VISA and vice-versa.

Same same. I have EXACTLY the samne method of rip-off, only with diferent product. All I want is to warn people all those "ghost" companies operate the same sistem. In my case was a face product with the "pay only shipment" thing, but you could not return it the 15 days trial time, no way. Any way, a month later I have another jar of cream in the mail whitout asking for it, and a charge on my card of $79.99. I visited my bank and made a request to stop payments to them. They say that they could not do that because I have autorized the payments, he came up with a brilliant idea, he made some calls to other bank offices and found the company's phone number, he made a call imself to one of the company's clerks and I told them that I want their product no more and wanted a refund. Gladly I have the refund and they stoped shipments. I did all of that before trying to contact them in the phone, e-mails, regualar mail and nothing. The only two addresses they have in packages and internet are distribuitions centers, so they ignored my calls. So if is of use to someone, try this: go to your bank and ask them to find their phone # of the people who actualy are making the substraction in your account. It worked to me. (the product in the story is Caracol Cream)

happenned to me too, luckly was only charged $4.95 sh&hand before they could charge my account again.
and yes best thing to do is close your credit card account if you have a checking account with that card close it also, they could take it from your checking . Your bank will help you, just reopen new cc & checking accounts.
make sure if u have direct deposits or pay bills with the accounts that your are closing that your inform all parties. again your bank will help you. if you pay bills online, just go to them and just enter new account #
14 days free trial, yeah right !!! nothing is for free, but this is absolutly the worst i have even seen...and i will NEVER EVER again do this online..

I persevered and got a full refund from Purity Green Tea but Power Cleanse took off the 20% re stocking fee.
It is an absolute scam so keep emailing, it only takes the effort of keep writing emails. I have now resorted to writing saying its a scam and that I will put it into the hands of the credit card company if I do not get a refund.

May I ask has anyone ever received an RMA number from these people in order to enable sending the products back.

On June 23, 2009, I ordered a free trial of Colon Cleanse. The agreement was to receive this “free trial” and I would pay for the shipping charge of $5.95. I received a confirmation emailed receipt from the company which stated in relevant part that they had received my order and that the total charges would be $5.95. There was no indication in this email that I had a limited amount of time to decide if I wanted to pay for the free trial or be enrolled in any type of subscription for the product.

On July 15, 2009, I received an email from the company that since I had not emailed them that I would like to return the unused portion of the pills at the end of 15 days, they would be billing me $79.95 for the product received. They would be essentially billing me for the product that was supposed to be a free trial. Never in any conversation or email was this stipulation made known to me.

On July 27, 2009, I received another email from the company that my credit card would be charge $85.90 for my subscription. Please note that each of these emails give different names that I will see on my credit card statement. Email #1 states that “Statement on your credit card would appear as DESCRIPTOR: HOMEHEALTHSTORE 902-595-2783 PROCESSOR: PG”. Email #2 states that “Statement on your credit card would appear as QUICKSOLUTIONORDER”. Email #3 states that “Statement on your credit card would appear as CLARIFYHEALTHY”. Three different billing names for one product makes be a bit suspicious.

On July 27, 2009, after receiving email #3, I attempted to call the company at their customer support number at the bottom of the email (819) 483-0467 and they had me on hold for about 20 minutes. I finally called the number again and chose the option to leave a message. I left a message asking that they return my call immediately regarding PC 153963 and that they were not authorized to charge my credit card. I never received a phone call back. A few minutes after leaving that voice mail message, I returned their email stating, “Please DO NOT charge my credit card as I have not ordered anything additional. When and if I want to order more I WILL CONTACT YOU. Thank you for the free sample.”

At 10:23 that same day, July 27, 2009, I went back and responded to email #2, stating, “Do not charge my credit card nor send me any product. You have not been authorized to do so. Thank you for your 1 month sample which I have not completed so I do not know if your product works. When and if I decide to purchase any more I will contact you. If I need to send you back the remaining portion, I will. AGAIN, do not charge my credit card. Thank you.”

I know that the email was received by the company because on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, I received a response from the company. This was the first time that I was made aware that accepting the free sample obligates me to a subscription if I do not respond within a 14-day trial period. This had never been stated or in writing given to me before.

There are 3 charges on my bank statement that I am disputing. On July 6, 2009, the company charged my credit card $79.95 (This charge shows up as QUICKSOLUTIONORDER on 7/8/09 and corresponds to email #2) On July 21, 2009, the company charged my credit card $85.90 (This charge shows up as CLARIFYHEALTHY on 7/23/09 and does not correspond to any email). On July 28, 2009, the company charged my credit card $85.90 (This charge shows up as MXTSUPPLEMENT on 7/30/09). This charge may correspond to email #3 however, they said it would show up on my credit card as CLARIFYHEALTHY, but it does not.

On July 30, 2009, I tried calling the number that shows up on my bank statement for the July 30, 2009 transaction (908) 320-4322. The message that played was “your account balance is insufficient to place your call to that destination”. This was repeated over and over again until I hung up. I called again a few minutes later and this same message was repeated 3 times then the phone just rang and rang and then hung up.

In addition to all of this billing that they have been doing on my account, I have not even received any additional supplements, beside the “free trial” bottle!!!

It is obvious that this company is not legitimate in any way
