I am a small business owner and many times I work 16 hour days. I do not have time to cut coupons to safe money. I always liked Albertsons because you gave your customers special deals with out making them have a coupon. This week after butting in a 12 hour day I stopped to do my grocery shopping. There was a special, buy one pack of ribs and get two free. I have taken advantage of this offer before in your store and never needed a coupon, but this time I needed a coupon. The cashier never said anything about it and charged me full price for the 3 packs of ribs. I mention to him he charged me full price and he said it was because I didn’t have a coupon. I was tired and did not need this extra stress. I asked him if he had a coupon I could use. He looked and found one, but if I had not brought it to his attention I would have been charged for all 3 packs of ribs. If you are going to go like all the other grocery store and only offer deals if I have a coupon. I will change where I grocery shop. Albertsons is not the closest store, but I like the idea of getting specials and not having to take the time to cut coupons. I spend an average of $8, 000.00 per year at Albertsons. I doubt if you will miss me shopping there, but I am sure I am not the only one that does not have time to clip coupons and will go to their closer grocery store.
