Poor product quality
Complaint Rating:
We had our DirectTv installed in January. From the start if there was any bad weather, we'd have a terrible picture and lose our local channels entirely. DirectTv came out, moved the dish and the problem was eased but every time it rained, got windy or got cloudly, we'd lose our local channels for days at a time. DirectTV came back out and had us trim some of our trees but to move the dish again would be a charge. Now that it is summer and the leaves are on the trees, if the wind is blowing on my NEIGHBOR's property, we lose local channels again for days. Since I can't cut down my neighbors trees and I'd have to pay to move the dish again ( to another location that probably would not work ), I canceled the service and got hit with a 237.50 cancellation fee. If the service worked and I just didn't want it, I would pay the fee but the service never worked properly, I can't understand why I should pay a fee for a service that never properly worked in the first place. I don't have time to call service the 3 times / week we lose our channels or wait for a service call to hear that there is nothing we can do without a fee to get the service we pay for. Very frustrating.
