In June.2009 purchased i1035 polaroid digital camera for my 10 yr old son. With in 90 days it no longer worked, everything was blurred, we had only used it 5 times. The batteries died with in 10 min every time. Sent it in for repair, paid shipping and handling plus insurance. 1 month later got it back it was a brand new camera, not the colour we'd sent them. Opened up the box put the batteries in and it froze! Bought new batteries same thing happened. So in total paid $100.00 = tax so $130.00 for the camera then $15.00 shipping/handling/insurance total+$145.00 and still have a camera that does not work. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! it is a complete rip off, waste of money, annoyance, and heart ache for the ones who think they are getting a nice gift.

Polaroid SUX!!! i'd rather throw my money into the wind. today, i bought the "9 mega pixel" a930. first off, this is NOT a nine mega pixel. my friend has a nikkon 8 mega pixel and it blows my photos out of the water. and, YES i have it set to the highest quality setting. IT IS A LIE. THIS IS NOT HIGH QUALITY. IT IS THE QUALITY OF A CELL PHONE CAMERA. also, i need a camera for my class that does both audio AND video. well, this is the only digital camera i have EVER encountered that does NOT play back audio on the camera's playback. that made me very nervous.the only way u can read the TRUE instruction manual is to go to polaroid.com search for a930, find the secret link to the downloadable pdf, then go to page 22 where it boasts its audio and video capabilities (LOL INcapabilities). then in a footnote at the bottom of the page in print so small that no one without a magnifying glass could read, it tells u that there are no speakers, so the only way to hear what uve recorded is to transfer it to a computer and listen to it there. i went home and and transfered the videos to my laptop and to my horror, every video had the most AWFUL SCREECHING SOUND THAT ACTUALLY HAS A TUNE LIKE A SONG. IT IS LIKE A MARCHING BAND OF SCREECH OWLS ARE FOLLWING ME AROUND! I MADE VIDEO AFTER VIDEO IN COMPLETE SILENCE AND WITH ME TALKING, AND EVERY VIDEO FEATURES THIS SOUNDTRACK OF HELL. i was furious. i called my university where i purchased it (BIG mistake) and he said, well u can bring it in, and if i make the determination that it's defected, then i'll give u ur money back. i said, well, let's see EVERY video i take has screeching so loud that i am in the background, and if i turn anything in from that camera i will fail every assignment, do u consider that a defect. ummm, well yeah if i can hear it. WELL, THE PERSON I TAKE IT BACK TO BETTER NOT BE DEAF. AND I'LL TELL U ANOTHER THING, I JUST BOUGHT THIS TODAY, SO I WILL NOT GO THROUGH THE MANUFACTURER AND WAIT 6-8 WEEKS, WHICH IS ALMOST THE ENTIRE SEMESTER TO WAIT FOR THEM TO SEND ME A REFURBISHED (MEANING A BROKEN ONE SOMEONE ELSE SENT BACK THAT THEY "FIXED", YEAH RIGHT) TWIN THAT'S ALSO BROKEN AND FAIL THE SEMESTER. I WILL NOT USE THE WARRANTY, I REFUSE!!! I JUST FREAKING BOUGHT THIS.
it is NOT a warranty issue, it is a REFUND issue. THEY can send it back to polaroid, they have time to do that, but i DONT. and i WILL NOT allow anyone to make me fail a class just so they can scam me!
YOU ARE GETTING RIPPED OFF WITH THIS ONE. THEY ARE THE SAME QUALITY AND HAVE THE SAME FEATURES AS PLAY TOY DIGITAL CAMERAS FOR $25 AT WALMART. YOU WILL BE HUMILIATED IF U TAKE VIDEOS OF UR HUSBAND AND FAMILY OR FRIENDS, AND WHEN THEY ASK TO LOOK AT IT, ALL THEY WILL SEE IS A SILENT FILM IN LOW QUALITY. THEY WILL ALL LAUGH AT YOU FOR BEING SO STUPID AS TO KEEP THIS THING AND ACTUALLY USE IT AND NOT TAKE IT BACK. PLUS, IF THEY HEARD IT AFTER U DOWNLOAD IT TO UR COMPUTER, U WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR ANYTHING BUT THE SCREECHNG SOUND. ACTUALLY, THE TOY CAMERAS FOR CHILDREN ARE OF HIGHER QUALITY. YOU WILL BE ASHAMED AND RIPPED OFF. AND DONT EVEN TELL THEM WHAT U PAID FOR IT!!! YOU WILL BE THE LAUGHING STOCK OF ALL UR FRIENDS.
I'm getting my money back, and then i will proceed to do what i should have done earlier this week, and what EVERYONE thinking about buying a polaroid needs to do:
GO TO WALMART AND BUY A NIKKON
believe me, first u wont be harrassed for returning it if it is defected out of the box. u wont have to go through a panel of expert judges either. also you will actually get 8 mega pixels, and it is high def. u also wont have to become a private investigator to find the TRUE owner's manual instead of the lies in the instruction manual in th box. u also will actually BE ABLE TO HEAR AND WATCH THE VIDEOS U RECORDED, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER CAMERA THAT COSTS 3 DIGITS. u also wont have a parade of screech owls singing a tune throughout ur entire video to the point that u cannot even understand what people are saying, because with polaroid- ur in the background, and their little song entitled"i just ripped u off" is all u can hear. |

| i found everything exceptable about my 7mp camera until it needed warenty work. there warenty dept. is a joke i won 't buy another polariod product because of them. |
