PokerStars.com - Rigged/fixed software

Warning to all Hold them poker players: This site is is using fixed software to determine outcome of poker tournaments! I have played hundreds of times and seen the pattern where the small stakes are loosing to the big stakes approx 90% of the time. Two reasons for that. First, each small stacked player eliminated counts towards shortening the duration of...

PokerStars.com Discrimination

Pokerstars is the most biased organization I have ever experienced. Their staff members (especially their moderators) target players and discriminate against them at will. They violate their own company policies and make up policies as they wish. They are truly the most unprofessional, incompetent, and inconsiderate organization on the web today. If you express yourself openly and communicate your dislikes or concerns about their site and poker games, then consider yourself targeted. I won't even bother to go into details about their rediculous hands and constant bad beats because anyone who has played on their website already knows. This organization takes the fun out of poker and completely turns it into a joke! I would highly recommend seeking out other poker websites and avoid the frustration you will absolutely experience from this ghetto site. Thanks

I began playing poker on PokerStars, early 2006, prior to the Moderator program. Back then, emailing support was the only way to request that a player behave themselves. Once the Moderator program began, April2006, we were instructed page a Moderator to come to the table, review the chat and remind players about the Terms Of Service and Card Room Rules. Moderators don't address support issues, like multiple accounts, card calling, cheating issues. Support handles that. Moderators do try to remind players to just follow the rules, to which everyone who downloaded the program had to agree. Abusive players are welcome to find another place to play. Cards is cards..poker is probably the world's best practical joke, especially on those who think they have won before all the cards have been dealt...online or anywhere.

pokers is just evil, stay clear of this site because once you complain, any chance of having a profitable year is completely over. You will immediately be targeted to loose. I believe some of these so called sunday million final table finishes are in fact pokerstar employees, keeping some of the winning home. Far to many river bad beats. Absolutely no outside agency to monitor how business is conducted. STAY AWAY...

I believe everything he said above, i had a real good 2009 poker season and then after i got wind of something corrupt going on and questioned poker stars about it they all of a sudden deal me monsters which there r no way to fold and they allow people from 3rd world countries to catch flush and straights when there is no way someone is calling off there whole stack with 100 people left to go with hands like 5 7 off and 2 3 suited it just doesnt happen, which makes me to believe that poker stars has control over atleast 1 account in each tourney to where they pick through people they dont want to win and people they do, . everytime i try to talk to support they give me the same links to look up and ive reviewed them numerous times and i try to tell them that someone cannot lose being ahead 98 percent of the time, because that is the case with me after reviewing my recent hands and the hands i lost to with a group of avid poker players we all came to the conclusion that it is IMPOSSIBLE for someone to run as bad as me and IMPOSSIBLE for that many players to call off there stacks with junk hands as which i described earlier without knowing what is coming on the flop, so the responder enanoix u r only happy cuz they havent started bending u over yet to pay off there european players, because for all im concerned this is a prejudous against american players and there is not much that can make me change my aspect until there is a full investigation to poker stars that everyone can talk straight to one of the investigators with proof that its just not a stars employee posing as an agent of some kind!

I respect your opinion, but I feel that you are wrong in saying that their staff discriminates against other players. To My knowledge their moderators only enforce simple rules such as ... English only... There are other pokerstar sites for non English players... No discrimination... Also, they Moderators deal with issues such as abusive language, slurs, threats, stalking, harassment, vulgarity...So if trying to keep the chat clean and fun for everyone on the tables is wrong... then please find another site! Also, unless you are sending out complaints like F U I want this ... then they will listen to you, do their best to assist you in what ever way they can!
I know this because I have had issues on the tables where players harass and I have had to use the Call Mod button... And I have had issues cashing out, due to new guidelines set by the US government, against sites like pokerstars... and they have been more than happy to help my account, by not only reimbursing me the check, but by paying me fee's charged to my account as well! If you are looking for a site that has good customer service, good game play, and a safe and fun environment, pokerstars is the site for you.
If you have issues with them, you should contact support, and talk to a person directly from there. The key is just to stay calm...
Good luck in what ever you are doing!

PokerStars.com Accounts

Cheaters - can they see my hand?
Recently I joined 25-50 cent tbl it was my turn for big blind everyone folded except one player who called.
The flop came I had nothing so checked
The other player checked
The turn I checked (Still nothing)
The other player checked
Then the river card came a jack so I raised (Bluffing) 1euro
The other player called with q / 7 but didn't even have a pair and wins queen high lol lol lol lol lol
Cheaters cheaters cheaters they can see your hand.

P. S you can have multi accounts entre one tournament just create a new account for yourself

I did this with pkr.com had accounts like
Zzzslowzzz
Zzzslowlyzzz
Zzzslowestzzz
I had around ten accounts with them entering them all into a tourny they would show on the top so everyone that joined would see zzz... Zzz x 10 times lol but my ip is now blocked. But still works with pokerstars. Pkr.com now want me to send a copy bill and passport so my acc ount can be opened again haha what a joke.

PokerStars.com Automated software

I wish to bring to your attention the self claimed largest poker site online. Pokerstars can some one from your company please observe the goings on during sit and go tournaments. 90 % of the time towards the mid to end of the tournament no matter what whole cards you have the player with the highest chip count wins. I have no doubt that this is purely to finish the tournament within a certain time frame to free up players to spend more money in other tournaments. I have made 3 complaints to the company concerned an have been fobbed off with our shuffle has had this and that test and is deamed to be fair. I have no doubt that these test have been done and have in fact veiwed these documents, however I have been playing and watch this consistantly happen to myself and other players. Please as a consumer just have someone with more knowledge and ability to see this for themself. I am not the greatest poker player in the world and play for fun, I don, t mind losing or having a bad beat now and again but at this level it is nothing short of ripping off the very customers that pay thier salary. Thank you.

All of the sites that claim to be poker have software that is designed to get you in and out of tourney fast. On Poker Stars, the card clietn is a piece of chit. The board pairs 80% of the time, an ace hits the board 60% of the time. Those are the only two odds that apply. And than there's the cheating groups. There are a ton of em on Stars. Their advertising is false, the site is fradulent. You are NOT playing poker. You are simply playing the patterns. Certain seats will win no matter what and others will lose no matter what. If you want to play poker, play live. Otherwise, learn to play your seat on line which isn;t poker at all. Shame on the Pro's for helping to rip people off! Places like poker stars have totally destroyed the game of poker.

PokerStars.com Unrealistic hands

I would like to complain about the unrealistic hands that continue to come up on more than frequent occasions that is not and con not be random. I have just one of the pictures of the hands and the table of what continually seems to happen.

There is no way this can happen on the amount of occassions it happens. I play a lot in real life and i am lucky to see Aces versus Kings once every 2 weeks if i played every day, and yet when i play on line i see it every day i play. The argument that seems to always come back is that you see more hands on line which is true but i do not spend that much time on line, i am talking about playing about 120 hands on line, which is what i would play double this amount on the nights i play live games.

If you look hard enough you will see some clear evidence that these sites are not fair. The hand attached clearly shows that the only winner was the rake, all other players lost. The hand was played out as such, AA versus KK versus QQ in which all the players bet all they could pre flop, then the community cards flopped a straight of which every one got their money back less the rake.

Get a deck of cards. Deal out 6 hands. Hell, deal out 9 hands. Then a flop, turn, and river. Do that, oh I don't know, 50 times. See how many flushes, full houses, straights, quads (pokerstars fav), paired flops, suited flops, pocket aces, kings, etc. you come up with. Write down results then go to PS or FT and play for 5 minutes. You will see the difference between a REAL deck of cards and an online casinos computer program. If you don't, then make another deposit. It won't be your last.

Pokerstars may not be "real" poker but it is still a game of chance which is poker enough for me. Doesn't matter if your playing your seat, the computer, or a person it's still a game of chance. Sure it may be set up to get the max it can out of the rake but how is that different that anything else you see in gambling? The house always gets covered by the spread. Now I hear the U.S. Gov is saying these guys are running a fraud. That may be, but not on me. In fact; I don't know if it's just that pokerstars "likes" me but I win pretty regularly. I started out with $10 and played the $1.40 knockout turnies and I've won like 28 times and finished in the top 3 at least another 15 or 20 times. I've only been sucked out maybe 7 or 8 times. On the regular tables I admit I look for the "golden" seat or just play my cards until I get a feel for the other players habits and then I play them. I do ok (my win % is around 65% - 67%). I have to admit I played the pokerstars.net site for several years before I decided to try my hand at "real money" games on pokerstars.com so maybe I'm used to how the cards play out. Believe me I know it's not "random" but it's still chance. I mean if you know that poket A's don't mean squat in online play then why go all in? Never trust your hole cards. The trick to pokerstars it the turn. If you don't have the unbeatable hand by the turn the you will get sucked out on the river 9 times out of 10. What I'm p'd off about is that the Feds think they can dictate online gaming! I don't care if pokerstars is the biggest joke on earth - it's my money and my life - if I want to gamble it then why should I be restricted to doing it in a casino? Why should the feds seize my winnings? Is it my fault they were too stupid to tack on a gaming/luxury tax when the had the chance in 2006!? What a freakin' joke!

Online poker is a joke! Just take Pokerstars for example...Scheinberg the 70% owner is wanted for internet gambling fraud, The endorsed pros rarely play there, the bad beats r unreal, the rake is criminal, and all pokerstars employees r part owners! Way 2 many redflags 2 think pokerstars is a fair game! If u defend these criminal sites...u r either one of the donks who has no clue how 2 play winning poker or your one of the employees which means u r one of the owners! Get Real people and wake up, the truth will come out and then all these criminals will get there rammings in prison instead of handing them out 2 all the good players who try 2 win on these criminal sites!

Most defenetly agree. But there is an explanation. with 52 card u can make around 2, 5 bilion combination of 5 cards. on average on poker stars, there are more than 200.000 players sitting at 30-40.000 tables...can u imagine how many combinations are there posible? pokers stars should have 10-20 times the computing power of NASA to handle all that shuffling of so many cards. not only that they have to deal the cards but they have to determinet who's the winner. so the solution is to handle not al those posibilities but to handle small packages of combinations, prefabricated combinations, allready knew.

poker stars is a joke. Stay away from this site. save your $$. After looking up some comments i started observing my games very closely and noticed a pattern of being knocked out of every tournament because I had less Chips then my opponent. Every hand and I mean several different tournaments I got knocked out on the River by my opponent because he had more chips than me.

I played on Poker Stars for about a year, When I stared I played a few months and I was getting bad beat after bad beat. At least that is what Poker Stars calls them, I call them sucker hands. They try to get 3 to 4 players in on every hand to make a big rake for them. Anyway I complained to poker stars and nothing was done so I quit playing for over a year. I just started playing again a couple months ago and after I was out of pocket again for $80.00 I complained to them about a player named "rs03rs03" this player has played on Poker Stars for less than 2 years, he/she plays 30 tables at a time and has played over 967, 276 games and Poker Stars claims it isn't a bot! I was born at night but it wasn't lastnight! This player plays 24/7 non-stop it isn't possible. That equals 55 games per hour 24 hours a day 7 days a week for 2 years. Do you think that is possible? This leaves no time to eat, sleep, bathe, or step away from the computer. And yet poker Stars still believes it is a real player. Anyway I complained so much they closed my account and kept the $18.00 that was left in it. I think they are nothing but crooks. If you are an American you don't stand a chance, Americans are cash cows for them. When congress stopped online poker for a few months in 2009 Poker Stars stock dropped 60% even though Poker Stars claims American players only make up 17% of the 250, 000 players that play on poker stars. Think about that for a minute.

Poker stars is the biggest joke of the poker world. You arent playing poker, you are playing your seat against a computer generated piece of crap program. Poker odds dont apply because the board pairs 80% of the time and an ace hits the board 60% of the time. 50 million people play poker but only 250 thousand are on joker stars. That kinda says it all doesnt it?

what i hate the most is when your low on chips and u get a "good hand" lets say a pair of kings pre flop...9 out of 10 times the chip leader at the table has a pair of aces. Pokerstars definitely sets u up for failure. if u wanna learn how to play poker, online is not the place at all. The first professional i see face to face with a pokerstars shirt on might catch a laptop upside the head

Would you rather have the $8400 or the $1300? Honestly you should be glad that you got the higher number! If you have a ticket, already paid and everything then use it! Don't let it go to waste, that's just stupid!

PokerStars.com - Stole money from my bank account - refuse to refund

8-8-2009 I am writing this to warn people about using pokerstars.com Earlier this week I tried making a deposit using e-check, which I have done many times before. I got an email saying that my transaction was declined, which was strange because I have never had a problem before. I tried it again and once again it was declined. I didn't think much of...

PokerStars.com - No free play

Well, I signed up for Pokerstars using the ' free' start bonus from Pokerstrategy. I added USD 100 with my credit card to avail of a possible additional bonus. After a few months I found out I'm not that good at poker, so I decided to quit. I had consumed my USD 50 from Pokerstrategy, so I just wanted my USD 100 back. Guess what.
