Pogo.com is now permitting bullying in the chat rooms that leads to account suspension. Here is how it works - a group of members gang up and harass other members. They may harass the members that are winning games a lot because they play by the rules, but the bullies don't think members should use the rules to a winning advantage. They harass and harass, eventually getting one of two things to happen. Either the victim of the bullies leaves the room - never mind that they have paid to have access to all member-only rooms, or the victim says something in defense of himself/herself and then the bullies move in for the kill. The gang of bullies report the victim to Pogo.com abuse system at the same time. They know that by sending multiple reports all at one time they will get the victim kicked off Pogo. I've seen them say that very thing in a chat room, immediately prior to an attack.
Pogo permits this abuse to happen. It doesn't matter if the victim has been a good paying member for years, they get booted without any regard. It also doesn't matter that the victim repeatedly reported the bullies to Pogo's abuse system prior to the multiple attack. Once Pogo has the membership fees they really don't seem to care if members stay or not. This is a total scam to permit this kind of bullying within the chatrooms. Parents should especially be aware of this kind of activity because children could easily fall prey to this bullying and harassment. NOTHING is done in the chatrooms to prevent this, so don't think for a minute that children are safe there.
I am amazed that Pogo is still permitted to be in business, considering all the complaints about the fake jackpots and people that do win that have to fight to get their winnings. Perhaps multiple reports to the attorney general in the state in which they are incorporated - Electronic Arts, which I think is incorporated in California. Now that they have expanded to Great Britain this should be looked at via international laws as well.
I think that many of the "so called" bullies are children or teenagers. Lets face it, adolescence is prime time for testing adults with false bravado behind the safety of a computer monitor. Kids hack into their parents subscriptions, they are even happy to admit it. I have even seen groups of "gangsters" and "street thugs" go into rooms to drive the regulars out, just for their own sick form of entertainment. I'm not discounting the few adults who have emotional problems who are subscribed to Pogo who choose to harass others that are there to socialize, the ones that actually have morals and scruples that are very pleasant to become friends with. Unfortunately, this is the world we live in. Parents need to monitor the activities of their children closely and adults who act like children need to grow up. Until Congress passes legislation against bullies and psychological terrorism, I guess we need to learn how to confront them or hit the mute button. With regards, Steve
a guy named John Harnish of Nova Scotia has been terrorizing Green Eggs & Ham 4-player cribbage for a year now & nothing has been done. Hes gotten players with memberships terminated. Hes a bully, stalker, filty mouth, impersonator who rarely plays crib, just goes into lobby to annoy any1 who chats in the lobby. Hes been reported by many, but nothing is ever done about it. Pogo has also issued him terrorist names, such as Bloodiamonds. H needs to be dealt with Thanks Skyler
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: THIS IS THE 3RD TIME I'M E-MAILING YOU ABOUT THE ERROR I DID WHILE SIGNING UP FOR POGO. I ASKED IF YOU COULD CHANGE THIS FOR ME. Something is happening to my tokens. I can have 345,000 tokens and then all of a sudden it is 224,000. It's as if someone is stealing them. Also a message will come on when I'm playing sweet tooth that says someone has entered the room with the same screen name and you have been removed from the room. I have to press ok and it boots me off. I'll try to go to other rooms and the same thing happens. Is there something wrong with the site or is someone using my name and somehow getting some of my tokens? I would appreciate a reply and a solution. I'm hearing some say you do nothing about complaints. I hope this is not true! Please let me know what could be happening.

I think if the ketchen gets too hot you should leave?If you burn your fingers on a stove,dont touch it again. Its use to be about racism, but now its people against people. People are never satified about anything? Wheather its people face to face or chat to chat, someone isnt happy about anything. And i get sick of people cutting others people throat over nothing! You have tools in Pogo use them, if you dont then thats your decision.

I Also Play In Hog Heaven Slots And Have Been The Subject Of Abuse For Months, Continually Harassed, 2 Days Ago Received Death Threats Towards My Family, My Kids, Had Farce Names Created { With Some Very Twisted,Vile And Just Disgusting Content In The Profile } Several Phone Calls To Pogo Have Resulted In Mute And Report While The Abusers Run Rampant Doing What They Want.. Something Needs To Be Done And Done A.S.A.P
This happens all of the time in the room that I go to play Hog Heaven Slots. When you complain on the bully, you are told to go to another room. I don't want to go to another room, I have been playing in this room for months and have alot of regulars there that I enjoy chatting with as I play.
The bullys are constantly saying "If you don't like what I am saying, mute me". I should have to do that either. But the MINUTE anyone says anything back to them, they get suspended. Why are the bullys never suspended?
I am beginning to wonder if these people are planted there by Pogo. If so, why?
I saw one of the bullys jump on a lady that was 70 years old on Saturday because she misspelled a word. It went from "you can't spell" to a very disturbing "your days on earth are numbered you old coot" and it made me psyically ill.
Does anyone know what can be done about this?
