Pet Armor review: Flea Medicine is not working 4

I would not recommend Pet Armor. We bought it for our small dog. Within 1 day of applying Pet Armor, our dog started scratching constantly, biting at his feet, scratching so much that he has a large bare spot at least 1 1/2″ diameter from scratching so bad on his neck, along with bumps all over the application spot. He was extremely distressed. I thought it was just fleas and the medicine not working, until he kept getting worse, and he was raw and bleeding. I will NEVER use this product again. He has done better the last night after I washed him very well and gave him benadryl. It looks like we poured acid on his poor body.

I would highly recommend that you do a very small test spot before applying the full application on your dog. We’ve always used Frontline Plus in the past, and NEVER had this problem. I don’t know, maybe our dog has a skin allergy to something in Pet Armor, but I wanted to let others know of this possibility.

Pet Armor Plus - 2018
Devastating Medical Effects

Applied this product to my dog and within an hour or 2 she had a seizure (never had one before) and her neuro status progressively worsened. It has only been one week so far and she does not bark, jump around and when she walks she is constantly running it the wall and stumbles to the left. She has heavy breathing and does not move around much either. We have taken her to the vet and she is currently being treated without a definitive prognosis at this time.
We have called the product manufacturer to have the customer service department continually misguide and misrepresent themselves. Finally spoke with someone in administration who stated that the EPA controls their advertising. Will be filing a complaint with the EPA about this.

I have used Pet Armor with great success over the years - however, this year have given 2 applications to the 2 cats and they still have fleas and I believe maybe even chewing lice. This is not a cheap product to be doing trial and error with. The animals haven't gotten any relief either. It's a sad affair.

I have also used this product on a Corgi, it does not kill fleas on this breed.
