I bought a dishwasher from PC Richard&Son (Bridgewater/Somerville, NJ). The unit did not work on day 1 and I asked the store to replace it but they refused asking me to first call the service dept. Service technician acknowledged that the unit is defective and offered to try repairing it. But I asekd for replacement as it is brand new and just one week passed by. He directed me to go the store, but store refused to issue a replacement until unless service department add a statement stating the the unit needs repair and my comment saying the customets wants replacement. Again service dept. told me that they won't add any comment and that store should be able to issue replacement for the defective units if it is within 30 days of purchase (in my case it was not even a week).

This back and forth push back between two department left the problem unresolved and end of the day, it is me who is suffering and on the wait.

to make matters worst, PC Richard&Son service representative was very rude from the time I started explaining my problem, and cutting me off saying she would not even talk to me and that she would talk only to the store manager.

The matter remain unresolved and one dept. simply pushing things back to me other dept to something about the problem.

As a customer, I feel that I got sold a defective product with customer service does bother about the customer at all.

Need this unit replaced at NO cost to me.

I sent my november payment to GE Money Bank on 3 novemberr 2017. The representatives from GE Money Bank called me, asking for my October payment on 29 november 2017. When I told by Joe Botros Jr. 8246 Salemen them that I had made the payment, they told me to authorize a check for my november payment. I hung up. They called and woke me up on 4 november 2017 (a Sunday) and I told them the check had already cleared the bank. They told me to send them a copy of my bank statement to clear this up. I told them that they must be crazy that I would send them a copy of the cashed check, which I have done.

I have had a horrific time with PC Richard And Son in Paramus NJ. 1 year ago I purchased a refrigerator after the first one I purchased went bad. It should have been a simple exchange since I had a warranty but no such luck. They were extremely rude in the Paramus NJ store and not very knowledgeable. I finally got things squared away. Now I am trying to make sure I can redeem my $329.00 credit by checking over the phone. This process has taken over an hour. I am on hold while I write this for the 2nd time today for over 20 minutes. The other 2 times in 2 different locations they just put me on hold and came back to the phone and hung it up.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with the clowns in the Paramus NJ store due to a manufacturer defect in a previously purchased kitchen appliance. To make a long story short, I unfortunately was able to get my manufacturer to honor its warranty, but they made me get my new appliance from this store. Then there were issues in finding a new unit at the store, settling on a price, getting it delivered and installed (they actually wanted me to pay for 2 installs and don't even get me started on the actual scheduling of the delivery - train wreck), and THEN getting them to honor a refund that they volunteered to give me due to the issues. So now I'm out money and will never - barring a natural disaster where they were the only store open and had something priced under $20 and I could hand carry out of that store - shop at this store or ANY PC Richards store or thier website ever again, and I cannot highly recommend enough anyone else shopping there either. WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER

I purchased a washer & dryer from the Paramus NJ PC Richard and Son. Great price. When they delivered it, they broke the dryer vent cap on the OUTSIDE of my house but neglected to tell me; insread, they completely taped it closed Still don't know why they even had to go out there. Only realzed what happened when it took 3+ hours to dry small load. Immediately complained & Jenny in cust serv essentially called me a liar. Arranged for service to repair it before noon on a saturday. No show so i called &advised my appt was 11:45-3:45 so i still couldn't leave my house or even go in backyard cause I'd never hear the bell. Got another call at 4:45 advising men would arrive shortly. Took almost TWO hours for men to drive from next town (i could have walked the distance in less time!)?. Men showed me work order which said work must be done before noon but they were then told NOT to come to me because they overbooked so my job was cancelled! Couldn't do repair cause they didn't have the part; promised to return next day and even called me to advise of his arrival And still never showed up! I spent a total of 20 hours over 2 days waiting for repair.. Jenny actually had the nerve to call me after repair finally done to confirm?. No apologies or explanation for implying I lied or cancelling my appointment, . A few years earlier, I had purchased a fridge with icemaker from the same store for my new house'. Waited all day for delivery - similar situation in that they kepy telling me it would be delivered|. Finally learned that they actually sold my fridge to someone else! The

entire incident has completely turned me off from this company/. They are not to be trusted;. Go to Lowes.

Be VERY wary of these people!They are RIP OFFS of the highest order.

I was told that I would be interest free for 24 months, after which my payments would begin to include interest. What they DIDN'T tell me was that all that interest was accruing and that when it kicked in I would be hit by deferred interest in the sum of almost $1200.00! NONE of this is listed on your monthly statement page, mind you!. It's a separate page (to which they conveniently never direct you!

You really have to hunt for it|.) THEN you're hit with a brand new 29;.99% interest rate! You read that right! 29|.99%! Even though I have automatic payments, so I'm never late!

This is now by far my most expensive interest account'. They make CitiCard look like Mother Teresa;. PLEASE! If you have an account with these people PAY IT OFF FAST, .

Then find another provider!

These people have a hole where their souls ought to be".Buyer beware!

I went to P C Richard & Son in Paramus New Jersey.I walked around a bit looking. I was attempting to get the atention of a sales person and they took notice of me and then turned there heads as if I did not exsit.there were many foreign sales person and seems not one american.

I feel I was discrimated against.

And I will never shop at P C Richard & Son in Paramus again.I went there because I had purchased items before and the african american gentlemen Ola there were very unhelpful and I went back to buy a stero system for my tv.the gentlemen Ola there where just rude.

I purchased a washing machine from P C Richard & Son in Paramus.I called in for repair on my washing machine. It was working but it was making a sound. They took my washing machine apart and they refused to come back and repair it because they stated that it had water damage. I asked him to come back to put the machine together. I was told that it will come back, but I had to sign a waiver. I was told it was a two-man job, but they would be back on Saturday. They never came back. I called them again they told me to suck it up. They're not coming back. I need to call FEMA or the insurance. The company sucks. Bad customer service. I used to get my appliances from P C Richard & Son in Paramus.I have maybe 15 things in my house from P C Richard & Son in Paramus.Guess what? They just lost a customer. I'm never buying from them again. ** customer service.

I purchased so many appliances for my newly renovated home and was promised that I won't be dissatisfied with my appliances. They even talked me into purchasing warranties for all my appliances for a high price tag. I wanted to purchase Square Trade Warranties but they promised me that their warranties were the best, promising me that these were no hassle warranties. After a year, my range broke down. I tried to use my warranty and the cons at P C Richard& Son in Paramus came over to my house to look at my range. They saw a few mouse droppings behind my range and refused to fix my range without getting my whole house exterminated. Okay, so I paid $50 to get my house exterminated and emailed my receipt to P C Richards & Son . They are now telling me that my warranty is void. This is the worst company to deal with. Never ever purchase anything from them. I know I won't.

P C Richard and Son in Paramus NJ has lost a previously loyal customer due to failure to deliver as promised. Ordered a kitchenaid d/w in the store and was promised ("absolutely there in 1 week, but not in store stock so will order"), checked the following week to confirm delivery time, told by mit manager Joseph Botros Jr. that earliest possible date would be in 2 weeks, but he would get back to me.
Following day I had to call to catch him. ("Sorry, earliest date would be total of 16 days.") We cannot wait this long,
so I called AJ Madison. Same model, color, etc. with extended warranty, installation, removal, can be delivered in 4 days
AND was $300 less! I have cancelled the PCR order. Previously you were a reputable company. No longer, it seems.

We purchased a washer and dryer almost 3 years ago and paid a significant amount for a 10 year extended warranty on each (almost 40% of the purchase price). The machines were installed (by PC Richard) in my 2nd floor laundry room. This weekend, water started coming through my kitchen ceiling. When we called the service department first thing this morning, we were told the first service appointment is 2 weeks from now (and who knows how long they will delay for parts or a replacement). Water has continued to drip out of the back of the washer (yes, my husband turned the water supply off). It is a small amount but I am worried about the water damage to my floor/ceiling and cannot believe a 2 week wait is the kind of service that the salesman promised- "you'll be totally protected for 10 years

I purchase NIKON camera with additional warranty from store about little more than a month ago, after few weeks lens stop comes out, so I contact store, Steve Allen when I purchase it from, and they said that it's still under factory warranty and they send it to factory for repair I was told that it shouldn't take not more than 2 weeks, no one contact me after 2 weeks, so I called again and now they telling me I should get it back in about another couple week.

Will never come back to that store or other once

As a female customer I felt that they way I was treated would not have happened to a male customer. On 6/12/11ans. an add for a 12K BTU air conditioner I was informed that the small print with the UPC code was for a 10k unit but they would honor the sale price but not honor my company discount. I have purchased many items from PC Richards and have never had this problem before. When leaving I addressed the manager, a tall younger person, Joe Botros Jr.8246 advising him that he just lost 2 AC sales and it didn't seem to bother him one bit.. I am very happy to relay this treatment to my 1, 200 fellow employees and neighbors that PC Richards is not the customer friendly store it once was.

You get a pressured sales pitch for the insurance coverage, then they attempt to add surge protectors and cables not asked for. If you decline the coverage the salesman Joe Botros Jr. 8246 needs to call over a supervisor James, who makes an second attempt at selling the insurance. They then request that you sign a waiver that the flat screen is free of defects and is operational. They open the box and carry the television somewhere to connect it and prove it works. The experience of the salesman cutting open the box, tearing all the plastic and removing the television in the middle of the store is not professional. Overall a very poor experience, a purchase of a Lg tv $1850 television should be painless, walk in, pay, walk out.

I called various times to combine two accounts together with Joe Botros Jr. 8246 . All customer service confirmed that it would be done, but it wasn't. Supervisors at Paramus New Jersey, I opened the second account and advised me that the two could be combined. I have incurred late fees as a result of the confusion between both accounts. This is still not resolved and PC Richards has not helped in resolving the late fees or the combination of both accounts.

This is the worst paramus store on the planet. I bought a Samsung 55" LCD from them in November and recently had an issue where the base of the TV magically exploded in the middle of the night. I went to the paramus store on the weekend and one of the managers named James said he would take care of it and order me a new stand. Well ladies and gents, it is now December 7th and I have yet to receive my stand or even a call back. Terrible customer service!

What a scam the P C Richard and Son No Payment/No Interest credit card is! It sounds great to the consumer in this time of need to purchase items for their home improvement at no interest for 6 months to a year but what they do is charge you all the interest at 26.99% from day 1 if the entire amount is not paid in full! Even if you have been making monthly payments.

I received a statement 1 month with a $1500 finance charge!

Shady business. Shame on these credit card companies for doing this to people in this hard economic times.

I will NEVER shop at P C Richard and Son ever again. Thousands and thousands of dollars I spent there, never again!

Their sales people may are worst, but if you need service, it's exactly the opposite. You are at their mercy & they stink?. Today is the 3rd service call on the same appliance, a refrigerator/. They refuse to give you a time frame ahead of time, so you have to leave the entire day open.. Of course their time is more important than yours, every time|. I spoke to a supervisor James this morning & he was very uncooperative & offered no alternatives for resolving our problem/.

By the way, this is not the first time we had problems like this|. The last time we had to appeal to the salesman & the store manager for help|.

It is 9:30 am & we just found out that the tech will be here between 1 & 4/. We'll make sure to roll out the red carpet for him.

I purchased a samsung plasma tv 6 months later it quit and was repaired by samsung.Six months later it did the same thing.

The warranty company and P C Richard & Son said i was lying and then gave me a run around about my tv. It took 1 week of calling every day an 3 hours of sitting in the store and refusing to leave without a tv and telling them that we were going to sue them if they didn't honor the plan that we had bought for us to get another tv. They said it was going to take them another week for them to decide if we were going to get a new one.

When the repair was going to cost double what the tv cost knowing that the tv that broke was the only one we had.It was nearly 2 weeks to get another one after it quitand wiuld have bee longer if we had not been proactive about getting it taken care of

The delivery people were extremely rude and late.Not once did they introduce themselves or show my family how to operate our new appliance.They walked outside and never said goodbye or thank you for your purchase.Screw P C Richard & Son, Home Depot or Lowes will be my future companies. Paramus NJ have sent three previous letters to PC Richard & Son with still no response from them & LG;do they really think I'm going away.I'm going to tell the world what lousy customer service they have.I wish the God I had made my purchase through Sears like I originally wanted to.My LG Refrigerator was cheaper at Sears but not in stock for 30 days.

P C Richard & Son in Paramus is "Unreliable and dishonest"
First the delivered only the Washer .Then were supposed to deliver the Dryer and the base for the Washer, which they forgot the first time.

Took the washer out on my deck flipped it completley over installed the pedestal, scratched the entire top of the Dryer...and..

when they re installed the washer..it no longer worked.
After much back and forth, they could only replace it with a floor model which I was tld was in perfect condition, and i was to recieve $150 credit.The floor model was scratched when delivered, and i am still waiting for my credit...So Long to a 25 Years customer

Broke the exhaust pipe while installing a new dryer - We had a very unfortunate, incompetent mistake happen with our dryer installation on Thursday, 5-5-2017, that could have caused the death of our whole family. The installers crushed the exhaust pipe and broke the gas line valve and did not even mention it to me! This caused the gas to escape into the house. I arrived home after work on Friday, 5-10, to the gas smell and was smart enough to call PSEG. The whole house would have blown up. I want to discuss compensation with the president of P C Richard & Son in Paramus or the legal team! I have pictures of everything that was broken and damaged!

We were scheduled for an installation by P C Richard & Son in Paramus, NJ. They made us wait all day and then the repairman said he would not install it because it was in the garage. It was P C Richard & Son that delivered it there in the first place. Now they say they cannot install it because we did not read the spec sheet for the fridge, which I know for a fact that they did not mention to me when we bought it. Craig Ruppert ** was responsible and would not allow me to speak to anyone higher up because he said he was the boss.

OPEN Box cutter was left by installer in front of my door. I have two small children - and when he returned to pick it up I brought this to his attention. Instead of expressing any remorse or even concern for his negligence, he said, "Whatever, " and walked out of the house. I called P C Richard & Son in Paramus to lodge a complaint, and they too did not take any action. It is obvious that Customer Service is not a legitimate concern

Our installation on clothing washer was done by idiots, it was worse with dishwasher. Crimped copper water line, to waist line causing flood in basement (Forced 1/2 "line into 1/2" waist line) paid for install had to go to home depot to repair myself theirtheir installation is n. G. Repair service is poor as well, commercial is bogus first time figured oh well second time never again, I called rvc store and recieved nothing but a arogant manager that seemed to only interested in sales, and not to help a customer in need I will never go to them again for any thing.

Over the past 9 months, my husband and I purchased 7 appliances from PC Richards -- 4 for our primary residence and 3 for our rental property. We also purchased full 10 year warranties for each of the appliances which was probably the smartest decision we have ever made since most of their appliances have stopped working".

We have to-date had 4 appliances serviced (3 from our primary residence and 1 from our rental property) and of those 4 appliances, we have had 3 replaced after enduring weeks of waiting for service technicians who could never fix the problem and always needed to either order a part or "another" part".

There is no excuse for brand new appliances to completely break down in 5 and 6 months after purchase|. That is typically the exception and not the rule/.

The worst part is dealing with the company's Service Center?. They are absolutely useless;. The technicians might as well be people just pulled off the street and given a job because I have yet to have one in my home who appeared to actually know anything about the appliance that he was dispatched to service?.

I have never had an appliance fixed in a single service call, and I had to raise *** about having so many service calls on each "new" appliance before a store Manager Charlie would approve a swap-out".

I will NEVER IN LIFE do business with PC Richards and if there was any way that I could cancel the appliances that we purchased, send them back and eliminate any dealings with them at all, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Now the icing on the cake is that my tenant's brand new refrigerator has been out of commission for 2 weeks now and we have been unable to get a new refrigerator approved. Instead they were told today that they would have to wait "AT LEAST" another week for a compressor to be ordered on this new refrigerator before they will have a functioning refrigerator in their apartment. Now someone explain to me how a refrigerator's compressor goes bad in a matter of 6 months?

I believe that PC Richards is selling faulty appliances as new. There is no other way to explain how 4 of 7 appliances completely stop working in a matter of months after purchase from the same company.

I had promo for 12, months, they said it was 3.I know it was 12.Now charging me finance charges which they should have not.They cant be trusted.Bought frig.2/8 I used my pc card for th at purpose.12 months no interest.Joe botros Jr.8246 were very rude and felt like they did not belive me.Like I was lying/I will never buy a thin from PC again and I will tell all my people that I know aout it.Joe botros Jr. 8246 cant be trusted!I cant afford their finance .I was going to pay it all off, but now I dont care they will get 18 a month till I die.

P.C. Richards has been ripping off the consumer of payments made to them since November 2017. When payments are made instead of the bill going down it continues to go up. They charge extremely high interest rates and never give the correct answers to a question. In my opinion, their staff Joe Botros Jr. 8246 has been pocketing monies paid. At this point I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and also writting a letter to P.C. Richards Corporate Office for results in this matter. Hopefully with this action P.C. Richards will never again ripoff the consumer of their monies.

The store salesperson joe botros jr.8246 had a great pitch. He promised me two things. Number 1, they don't mess around with delivery like "other" places and number 2, they stand behind what they sell, their warranty is the best.

Problem 1: delivery was 3 1/2 hours late before they showed up and refused to deliver claiming that it was impossible to get the old fridge out. I called and talked to a sales person joe botros jr.8246 and explained to him the it got in, no remodeling was done, therefore it can get out. There was nothing he could do. Frantic and with food melting, I removed the doors off the old fridge and got it out myself, then I drove down street looking for the truck on their next delivery. I begged them to come back but they would not. I offered them 20 bucks each and they said they would be back in 10 minutes. They came and delivered the new fridge. They looked puzzled that I was able to get the old fridge out myself (Old fridge was actually smaller than the new one, if you can believe that). So anyway, by the time it was all over, my coolers did not manage to save my food and I lost about 100 bucks worth of food. Putting in the food loss claim was such a pain that I gave up. So I called the sales guy joe botros jr.8246 back and let him know how disappointed I was that his sales pitch did not exactly ring true. He did not care and referred me to his manager james who cared even less.

We have GE Profile Quietpower 6 Dishwasher from p c richard and son. We are the second owners of the home and did not buy it ourselves. But the dishwasher is no more than 2 years old. Our dishwasher also refused to turn off after it was done washing dishes, usually humming for hours afterward. One day, we came home and found that the whole house smelt of burnt plastic. Our dishwasher was burning hot and full of burnt plastic. It was off, so we unplugged it to make sure it would cool down. We don't expect any help from GE Profile, but we will never buy GE Profile ourselves. And we will make sure to tell our friends to never buy GE Profile from p c richard and son

NEVER AGAIN. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Washer and dryer were delivered, but we noticed two huge dents on the side of the washer afterwards. In hindsight, I realize why the delivery guy was distracting me from looking at the washer. As I was looking at everything, he ask me to go look at the walls to make sure nothing was dented or scratched (on our walls!). We contacted them the same day almost immediately after they left our house, and it's been nothing but a run-around from them ever since.

And I was stupid enough to tip the driver. I gave him $10 per guy, and laid it out on his clipboard in 3 stacks, and told him specifically, that each guy was to get a tip (the other guys had gotten in their truck already). He looked me straight in the eye and told me he would give the other guys their tip. From my window, I watched him slip the entire tip in his pocket before getting into his truck.

$1700 for a washer with two huge dents. It's the first thing I notice every time I walk in the laundry room.

Thanks to p c richard & son for such ### service. I'll be sure to warn all my friends about how great you are NOT!

P.S. I'm so bummed we didn't check these complaintsboard reviews before buying these appliances from p c richard & son. I never would have buy anything from this place had I checked here first. Judging by all the bad reviews, I guess I shouldn't take the terrible service personal!

I was talked into buying a washing machine more than twice what I wanted to spend because of all these rebates that were available. Sadly the machine was not delivered with any of the documentation needed to actually get the rebates and of course no service from airport appliance after they got their money.

I have a big kitchen remodel on the agenda for the spring and plan on outfitting the entire thing in high end appliances... I can tell you where I won't be buying those appliances.

I am a very disgusted customer that has recently bought a TV 55" in from your company. And have been put through the ringer about the damage to my TV in not being covered. I have spoken with many branches throughout this company and have been treated as my complaints as not important. I have made it quit clear that I am very upset with how the situation is being handled throughout the actual store paramus locations, the TV service, and also corporate itself and still have not heard anything from your company concerning my complaints. I have been scammed into thinking I was paying for something that was supposed to pay for any type of damage concerning TV. I was mislead by a store manger James andJoe Botros Jr. employees at paramus locations concerning the coverage.

I purchased all four kitchen appliances in a bundle purchase in 2017. I refused extended warranty at that time. They recently began calling me every day on my cell phone (I did not give them the number). My experience in 2017 with delivery and installation was so bad that I had already decided that I would never make another purchase from PCR. I just want them to stop calling.

I had purchased a Maytag Washer and Dryer at an excellent price from the College Paramus Store in New Jersey Within 8 months, the washer had a major breakdown. While this work was covered under the warranty, the repair company had indicated that this type of problem would return and I should be given a new washing machine. From the time I put in the initial claim, 4 weeks had elapsed. PC Richard salesperson George said that maybe it was my fault! Maybe we put too much of a load on this washer? First, that wasn't any of his business, next this a high capacity front loader, and we are family of 3. Well, he told me the unit wasn't made and was a closeout and he would get me a machine similar to what I paid. I said no. As per the request, a machine that had the same specifications from the earlier order. Well, he sends me a smaller, poor quality machine.Thanks goodness. Working with a managerJames at the store did we come to agreement. Its seems there is a replacment unit, exact in ever way, except the drum size is like one hundred of a cubic inch larger. I did have to pay an additional fee which while unhappy that PC Richard wouldnt accomadate me on that portion. It's no wonder that these big chains are going chapter 11.

I bought a washer a little over a year a go on July 4 the washer stop working with my clothes locked up inside of it i called customer service they give me such a hard time just to send a service person just to open the washer so I could take my clothes out they finally send someone when the service person check he said the washer needed some parts which he ordered according to him would take 5 business days it is going on three weeks already each time i called all i am getting is a run around do not have service person in my opinion pc richard & son stinks i am a very unhappy and disastified customer

No call was received. When my product didn't show up, I called and was told it had been pushed back a week, I ended up receiving the microwave on the 11th of January (3 weeks later).

My stove arrived damaged and they offered $75 for me to take it. I didn't pay $2500 for a damaged stove, so I sent it back. I again was supposed to receive my new stove february Again no call.

I called the store and they said they didn't have my stove and didn't know when it would arrive. I had to cancel my stove order because it was going to take another 2 weeks".

My stove was a special order from Electrolux but nothing takes a month and a half". I even called Electrolux directly and there is no shortage of the stoves/.

I haven't had a stove in over a month and have already made 2 payments for something I don't have'. My salesman, did not communicate at all|. I called everyday and he could care less.

It has been 5 already. I will never shop there again. I was excited by the beautiful look of the store but am disgusted at the lack of regard for my happiness and time

Be careful when purchasing from them. My experience was that the sales rep Ola witheld information about this product, after I specifically asked about the performance of this unit. Then, he claimed that the return/exchange policy was explained to me(Once his boss showed up). Clearly I would have moved more slowly had I known I could not return the appliance.

I recently purchased an air-conditioner14, 000 BTU Portable Air-Conditioner. I wanted a unit that would cool a basement room/low ceiling, 320SqFt Room(Approx). Since I have a couple of window units in other parts of the house, ... 8, 000 & 10, 000 BTU ... in slightly smaller rooms, I figured that a 14, 000 BTU should do the trick. He assured me it would be more than adequate, after I drilled him for 20 minutes or so. Unfortunately, I seem to have missed a few questions, and he didn't offer any other information to help make the purchase. I even sprung for the 3 year extended warrantee. Total of $659.

I left the unit on for 7 days straight and the lowest daytime temperature in the room was 73 degrees next to the air-conditioner, and 79 degrees on the other side of the room. I added a small fan to circulate the air better, and it did even out a bit (Daytime temperature outside was in the low 90's.). Remember, this is a basement, which is typically cooler as it is.

I went back to P C Richard & Son in Paramus the next Saturday, and the sales rep Ola now informs me that in fact, these portable air-conditioners are not as efficient as the window unit. SO ... as a test ... I brought the new air-conditioner upstairs and hooked it up. It did not work as well as my smaller 8000 BTU Window unit.

SO ... I packed the unit up and brought it back. The sales rep Ola then informes me that they do not accept returns on Air-conditioners. Only "Replacement". He even had the balls to tell me that I asked that question and he told me the return policy 2 weeks earlier when I bought it. Had I been told I could not return it, I would not have purchased the thing and done some online research in advance;. They wanted me to take another Air-contitioner!. Replacement only is their policy'. Since the room I needed it for could not accept a window air-conditioner, and I was not going to get another portable unit, we were at an impass'.
The hang up was that I now had the unit for 16 days, and it as too long to return it". I might of had better lusk if I had boxed it up a week earlier instead of testing it out on the first floor'. After a small battle, I ended up with store credit?.

If you are going to shop at P C Richard & Son in Paramus ... DO NOT make an "Impulse buy".

I need a dishwasher anyhow, but once this store credit is used up, I'm done with P C Richard & Son in Paramus

I bought fridge in 2017 with 10 yr warranty.Third time the defrost mechanism has malfunctioned, resulting in the fridge becoming warm and the freezer extra cold.

Electronic part had to be replaced. Today's service rep, Bob, was so unfriendly from the start, no eye contact, barely mumbled hello, etc. Took freezer apart then said I will need to replace the electronic part which will cost a lot of $$$. Didn't believe it had been replaced in the past or that it was still under warranty.

I had to prove it, then he ordered the part.

Asked why this keeps happening, said just be happy it works when we replace the part.Gee, thanks. P C Richard & Son in Paramus.

I bought a $2017 Samsung "stainless steel" refrigerator and within 6 weeks, water began staining the surface of the refrigerator. Paramus Store PC Richard & son nor Samsung was helpful. They said it was cosmetic. Well, I have three other stainless appliances and none of them stain from water! I can not be the first person to notice this. My recommendation: stay away from PC Richards. They are not honest about the products and stay away from Samsung because they DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.
