I mailed a payment to Chrysler Financial by Express Mail which they received at 10:37AM on July 29th 2009 and it was not applied to my account until 4 August, 2009. There was extra money due to the fact that I had borrowed money to clear my lease account which apparently they gave the wrong amount to the title company that processed my loan. I called Chrysler Financial on 28 July 2009 explaining the situation, they said no problem they could handle it and apply the balance to another loan that I have on a 2008 Dodge Caliber. I called numerous times about what has happened to the extra funds, OH it is being taken care of. Today is 7 August 2009 and it is still not applied. Just talked to them again and they said it will be on Mondays business (10 August 2009). I would advise everyone to steer clear of Chrysler Financial and Chrysler period. I have been a loyal customer of Chrysler in purchasing new vehicles since 1955, buying in excess of 70 new vehicles over those years. Some years I have purchased more than one when my kids were still at home. I guess they just don't want my business any more. Well I am shopping now and not even considering a Chrysler product.
