Passport Seva website review: Passport Seva Kendra website 21

every time i try to login, its comes up with incorrect password. it is really the worst site i've ever visited. please authorities try to resolve the issue since i m unable to print the completed form so that i can go prepared at the time of my appointment.

my name TARSEM SINGH. i applied my passport 21/08/2012. my file number- CHD070416043012, d.o.b- 29/06/1972. police clearence done by- 30/08/2012. i didn't receive my passport yet.i need my passport very urgent please check and send my passport as soon as possible. my email- manjeetrailandbuild@hotmail.co.uk

I have been trying to log into the PP portal for more than a couple of hours now already and I get the registration link in my mail as well...but later it is not allowing me to log in. Web portal mentions that the ID is incorrect or password is incorrect. Tried using forgot password link, asks for birth date and when entered, it says that is incorrect. "Now you will tell me when I was born?" The portal was on maintenance a week back, and after corrections you come up with such glitches ... its a shame

Seva kendra in constituted with a noble intention to help the public and to speed up the passport matters. In effect this was derailed.
Passport holder obtained the passport before marriage. After marriage she applied for reissue of passport including spouses name.
2 months after application got an appointment at Thripunithura seva Kendra at Heera Roayal at Ernakulam District under Cochin passport office.
Ministry of External affairs web site advises in such cases the attested copy of tyhe marriage certificate OR joint affidavit OR Annexure K affidavit is required to be produced with exsting Passport. ( Doc. No. 8017 and 8025 or 8063 or 8086)
But the clerk or attendant on table insisted for SSLC Book. WHAT FOR? when the passport is valid. Applicant again went back for the SSLC book. This is not SEVA - Who will take action against the Tripunithura SEVA KENDRA STAFF for this unwanted demands with unholy intentions?

TCS AND PASSPORT OFFICE GUYS ARE TOTALLY CORRUPT. THE TCS GUY MET ME OUTSIDE THE PSK HE ASKED ME BRIBE OF RS.3000/- FOR GETTING ME APPOINTMENT AND ALSO TOLD ME I DO NOT HAVE TO COME TO PSK HE WILL DIRECTLY MANAGE THE PASSPORT OFFICER ALSO .
I THINK THIS GOVT IS TOTALLY CORRUPT THEY ARE FINDING DIFFERENT WAYS OF MAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE SO THEY STARTED THIS STUPID PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA CONCEPT. EARLIER PASSPORT OFFICE WAS MUCH DECENT AND BETTER, IT SEEMS RATAN TATA AND GOVT HAS NO OTHER BETTER WORK TO DO NOW.

I have been trying to get an appointment without any success. It looks like we are taken for a ride. May be this is the way they force you to go to agencies. It is a clear case of nexus. Why are the great IFS officers of the External Affairs Ministry exhibiting such lack of interest in being of service to fellow citizens? Are they callous or greedy? Or both. Why cant they like the Railways scrap Tatkal bookings by agents? I BELIEVE THIS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE BRAINLESS ###S.

what a stupid website they have launced for Passport service. trying from 15 days to take appointment but with no luck. I dont know whether this application passed Testing phase or not. if yes what a foolish testing they have done(TCS).i feel like slapping on their face.stupid people they say try at 6'o clock sharp, but due to overload on the application it never allow us to login at 6. Kindly pass this application under Load/Stress/Soak testing.Please do not trouble people like this. Everyone who uses this website to take appointment will be using very bad words for you. Change this online process to manual until this defect get fixed. Kindly consider all these comments and act according to that. do not play with users. TCS guys a special request for you - Please do performance testing of this application. try for atleast 10k users load.

most worst web site service in the world is passportindia.gov.in.. don't know who found this ### idea for getting appointment slots.. i tried many days and many times. even i tried whole of a day i couldnt get even single appointment but if i asks to agencies they are ready to get appointment anytime within a moment.. then who says this is public service .. hope they are having some tieup (bribe) with agencies for avoiding public to get appointments directly... it is the worst service can happen in india only... i went tambaram passport office many times, very rude (TCS's) staffs in counter A.. they thought themselves they are government employees... they don't anything about passport oriented.. even if you get appointment by yourself, you will never submit your documents peacefully.. PSK staff there was unnecessary creating problems because of no personal monetary benefit... crazy staffs and stupid services in TCS's PSK...

PSKs are not organised well enough. I went there (in Chandigarh) and came across very very rude staff. Also, they did not check the documents carefully and I had visit the same office 3 times just for renewing a passport which was about to expire. I feel, earlier passport offices (even though big lines) were far far better than these PSKs.
Guys, and let me tell you this, chances are you will never ever get an online appointment. Because so called TCS's driven PSK are still very corrupt. There are agents all over near PSKs who can get you an appointment you want for a small money. Ofcourse, this could very well mean PSKs also expects bribe. I was harrased in PSK Changidarh just because I did not accompany their agent and they were not getting any money. The PSK staff there was unnecessary creating problems because of no personal monetary benefit.
I had determined that I will not move from there, if they did not give me in written about what ever stupid faults or invalid reasons they were trying to give me.

I've been waiting for my passport since past 1 year. There a was an objection regarding proof of stay. I checked at my police station and the records say that the verification is done and is sent to the passport office. Even the online status of my application has been "applicant's reply received" for over 4 months. I called the toll free number and they say that I have to go to the PSK for further details or wait for my passport to arrive. Then what the hell is the toll free number for if they don't have any information? They also say that the website doesn't update very often. Then why do you have a website? Just to impress people? To get sympathy votes? When will India become a nation where people don't have to struggle to get necessities?
This is just my case. I'm sure there are thousands of people in similar situations. I've had to postpone my plans for higher studies just for this. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

What are they doing? even after so many complaints. people are still in the dark side..?
what do they serve for.. arent they paid enough to work there..? how can they take it so light... ? people who are so need where should they go? it is hectic to go stand in the Big Q near passport office... it is the worst service can happen in india...
i went thr one morning by 9 tickets were closed one police person told "come tomorrow by 6 " i went by 6 i found myself as 90th person on the Q...
what nonsense is this..? there are only 2 persons will be handeling the cases inside... why cant they increase the service? when there is so much need is there. please... please don let the issue as it is.. please take it up and give us a solution

Same is the case with me, I have submitted applications for my wife and and my 7 months old baby but am not able find a slot for the appointment. When I called them up, I was to told to try at 8am. I do not understand what is special at 8 am. If the appointments are available daily at 8 am then why are they not available at other time. By the way I keept trying daily at 8am but am still not able to get an appointment.

I agree. This online application for passport is failing due to nexus between officials and agents. Let us bring to notice of media.

It has been ONE YEAR and FOUR MONTHS (i.e. 476 days from the date of application) when I applied for passport in Dec'09 but till so far we have not received my passport. Reference to the application for fresh passport for my wife, Vidjealatchoumy vide File Reference No. A02478509 dated 30th December 2009. I would like to submit the true facts for your kind consideration and necessary action. With reference to the online Passport status, She was asked to resubmit the Proof of address.

Police verification was done on 06/Feb/2010, 20/Feb/2010 and on 21/Feb/2010. Reverification was done on 08/June/2010 and 10/June/2010 due to address proof. As per Madiwala Police record the final report was send to Commissioner office on 17/June/2010. I personnally verified on 18/June/2010 at Madiwala PS through Mr. Eswarappa Ruli and Mr Basha.

I have posted a letter on 14/May/2010 with all copies of necessary address proofs and 3 PP Form. She has also approached Superintendent (Enquiry) on 31/May/2010 but not success. Subsequently, the Office of the RPO, Bangalore vide their letter dated 31/May/2010 requested for personal particulars form, which was submitted to the PRO personally on 01/July/2010. Once again She approached RPO, Bangalore on 12/July/2010, as per the email reply from Mr. Jayaram, ACP Madivala Sub Division Office, stated with Police Commissioner office Sl. No. 19 and G.R. No. 230/10 (Good Report Number) dt. 22/6/2010, but enquiry office does not allowed us to meet Passport Officer. On the other hand Pondicherry Regional Passport Office, verified parament address proof on 11/June/2010. And everytime we've approached we've been asked to submit address proof and a letter from local bank (as address proof) again. On 30/March 2011, I have submitted all copies of proof and paid Rs. 5, 000/-- and received a receipt from RPO, Bangalore. Its now ONE YEAR and FOUR MONTHS (i.e. 476 days from the date of application). I have no idea how long it is going to take.

Could you possibly assist, and if so, could you explain what I am possibly doing wrong, If so, please escalate this request to appropriate person. Kindly help us in getting a passport for her at the earliest and please feel free to contact me on [protected].

This is very much right, same problem happened with me. I contacted some agents in chandigarh and they are demanding 3000 Rs to arrange for an appointment. This is a racket who are booking all appintments and then they are selling it.

I created a login on 17.03.11 and submitted my form for renewal also on the same day. my passport gets expired on the 02nd may 2011. from that day i have been trying to get an appointment for tatkal but it always shows that all slots are booked. then i went to a PSK, Lalbagh and they said to try by 8 am. I have been trying from the last 7 days but no luck. Also it is getting irrited from last few days as I either cannot login or else even if I login and when select the slot i want it want go further. What pathetic site. It needs to be faster. India a technology leader should do better
