Have you told the management this? And why have you continued going for four years after so many mistakes?

Papa John's former employee

I was a long time employee of Papa John's, 10+ yrs.. and I have to say I loved my job. And as with everything in life I know things change, so when a new manager had come into the store, she had decided she was gonna try to get rid of employees she no longer wanted. She wasn't capable of handling manager duties, she would constantly talk bad about her employees causing conflict on a regular basis.. I bring a long time employee knowing the current employees at the time they all performed their duties, except for the manager, she would be constantly in the office or leaving to do personal errands while on the clock. After a couple of months of dealing with her attitude towards her job and employees I decided to quit. I never wanted to quit my job, I really liked working there.. I had recently found out that the manager in question had been fired for numerous reasons, so I contacted the new manager in hopes of getting my job back. He told me that he didn't need anyone at the moment and that he would hire me back when an opening was available... After months of expecting to be hired, I am now being told the district managers no longer want me employed there. I've never had any complaints against me our done anything that would keep me from being rehired. I believe it in fact has to do with only one district manager that has the belief out with the old and in with the new... and if your not a young pretty female, you can forget about a job or any room for advancement with this company, Bajco to be specific... I will be happier working for another pizza chain and giving them my 10+ yrs experience, and 100%...

Papa John's manager was rude, obnoxious and insulting

Dennis the manager at 6:25 pm on 11-19-2015 was rude obnoxious and insulting on the phone after inquiring about an order I placed at 5:05 pm today and then cancelled my order and hung up on me, and then refused to come back to the phone after 6 calls back to re place my order. Totally unacceptable when you have kids awaiting food for now going on 2 hours! After being told it was on the way at 5:45pm. Only to find out they never made the order, and then a rude manager canceling it and hanging up the phone on me as I'm speaking. My original confirmation number for papa John if they care is [protected]!

Papa John's hositily and improper labor practice in violation of government law

This will be taken up with legal counsel and the BBB.

So after year of working for this particular store, my fiancé went from 20 hours a week to two hours a day with management paying him under the table on Tuesdays due to labor hours, said manager then goes into the hot schedule and changes it (have screenshots proof). Today my fiancé went in to work a 2 hour shift and asked to speak to the manager Chris Bebow and was treated with hostility which at this point we are seeking legal counsel. It is illegal to have an employee work off the books where they can get injured and not be covered. We also have documented hospital records of him breaking his arm and reporting to work so he would not get fired. The store in question is Papa John's 4552 S. Suncoast Blvd, Homosassa, Florida and I wrote this post as a person in school for law enforcement, a US veteran, and an advocate for fighting improper labor practices I hope to receive a response from your organization.

Papa John's harassment from someone who works at this store

This is what I found on my front door when I got home this evening. I ordered something from the Parsippany Papa John's (450 N Beverwyck Rd Set 7, Parsippany, NJ) and my autofill put in the wrong phone number, but the address was correct. After more than a two hour wait and extremely rude service from the person on their line, I finally got a kid who didn't seem to know which end was which and I had to talk him though finding me. You know what? A girl from another restaurant also had trouble finding me because she was using an extremely outdated gps and I had to go out to the main road and help her navigate but I didn't mind... simply because she apologized, was very nice when we spoke on the phone, the person at the store was also very nice when I called them to ask for a status update, and she talked to me like a human being.

I posted a complaint on the Papa John's website that their drivers really ought to know how to find addresses (and I checked — it's accurate on Google Maps) and not need to call to find it. I also posted reviews on Yelp and Google because hey, it's my right as a consumer to post reviews (and because I was furious that after all that, they got my order wrong!). Anyway, I came home from work and THIS is what I find on my door: a dozen doorknob papa john's advertisements and the one in the front, in black ink that looks like it was scrawled multiple times because the person was angry, "Learn Your F*g Number."

I'm holding on to these and I'm posting pictures of them on your Facebook page and EVERYWHERE I can. This has gone from irritating to HARASSMENT.

This is so BEYOND unprofessional. It's despicable. It's disgusting. #1 Customer satisfaction? Papa John's, you have CRIMINALS running and working for your stores. I'm going to post this EVERYWHERE and warn EVERYONE I know about this brand and particularly, about this store. Shame, Shame on you.

I DEMAND an apology. YOU need to figure out a way to right this egregious wrong.

Papa John's late delivery

I made on order for delivery this morning on the Internet for the pizza to be delivered at 5:15 pm and it did not show up until 5:45 pm then when he showed up he was rude and when he left he harshly told my cat to get out of his way. Then I called Papa johns in Lexington Vi where it came from and told them they were also rude. The guy that answered the phone his name was Mike and the delivery guy all I know is his license plate number was WEBTEK. I think I should receive a free pizza for the aggravation

Pizza delivery by appointment? Doesn't work. Everybody wants their pizza @ exactly 5:15 and nobody noticed your order in the pile until it was already late. The driver had no control, as he was out driving until he came back and found your pizza. the manager was either making pizzas or answering the phone. It's dinner time, busy, busy, busy. I remember when I worked the dayshift, every office in town wanted a delivery @ exactly 12 noon. Sorry, can't happen. Call your insurance agent and make sure you are covered if a delivery driver falls down the stairs after tripping over your cat. BTW, drivers work for tips and I bet you gave the driver a hard time instead of a tip. If you had just performed your job and been informed you had failed and would not be paid, what kind of mood would you be in?

Papa John's disappointed of my pizza

I ordered a pizza for delivery at 1:11pm June 13th order number 0022. It came in great timing. My delivery lady was professional Jane Ladson. Unfortunately as I sat down to eat my pizza it was not FRESH! Come on papa Johns I love the cheese and flavors of the pizza. This pizza wasn't cooked all the way, flavorless, not hot upon delivery. I'm very disappointed to have spent almost 20 bucks on a Large pizza that wasn't made the papa johns way. After biting into a slice of doughy pizza not cooked all the way I will not be ordering for my family another papa johns pizza. Maybe it's the area since we just moved because I have never had a complaint until moving to Clinton Md and ordering from #1295!

Papa John's employees

There is a delivery driver for Papa Johns Pizza in Killeen, TX who really just freaks me out. I work at a nice hotel & he comes into the lobby and takes all the cookies and pours himself a lemonade & then leaves. It sounds funny, but he is not working and wearing his "Im a gangster" garb. He has tattoos all over his face and acts and talks like he is high. Anyway, he came to my house the other day to deliver my pizza. Its about 60 degrees out and tried to plead with my husband that he should come inside because its so cold outside. My husband said "No, I have dogs inside & there is no way you're coming inside." This Papa Johns guy said, "Oh come on man Im not scared of dogs!" ~Anyway, this guy. He's a creepo. Im not ordering pizza again b/c I don't feel safe.

Papa John's violent drivers

I have come home many times during the past two years to have one of papa johns violent drivers on my rear bumper for miles! They drive with their headlights off in the dark, rain, fog, and winter. They speed through flashing school zones. They speed past stopped school buses with thier red lights flashing. They drive on your rear bumper! The jerk in and out of lanes, between vehicles.

And I have reported this several times to corporate, and they dont give a damn! They just keep hiring more and more violent drivers!

Dont do business with them! Keep your kids and yourself safe on the streets! Dont do business with them and they cant hire violent drivers!

Papa John's why they cant work me

I worked for papa johns pizza since 1998 off and on I really do love the job but as of october 10 2012 I guess I was let go because of an accident that happened on january 19 2012 for no proof of insurance when it all was taken care of by another insurance agency and everything was taken care of and then all of a sudden I cant work because I dont have proof that I had insurance at the time of the accident because of not holding on to extra documents that I had no controll over the job that I was performing I had no way of access to be able to get this proof that I need but the lady states that if I had it I could go back on the road I fell that I was discriminated against because if she would have needed it then I could have had the information she needed why almost 9 months after the fact I really fell that I was targeted and I have no choice but to seek legal council after I told what had happen to chris baker gm of 3604 gallatin rd 37216 store number 460 he acted like he didnt want to even talk about it and that I fell he will not even sign off on my unemployment this was wrong doing and things to me are not adding up if she was behind on all the paper work thats not my fault so why out the blue I ask you I do have a family to support and this just dont make since yours truley thomas j blair sr.

Papa Johns wouldn't hire a driver unless the driver agreed to have own car insurance. It did not matter if you were at fault or if another driver's insurance covered the accident. Isn't it obvious to you that they aren't hiring you back because you misrepresented? Furthermore, the employer could be sued if you were at fault and did not have coverage. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that you are not a victim of circumstance.

Papa John's terrible customer service

This is not the first time I have ordered and is not the first time I have had a problem with this location 10330 Hole # 3 Riverside, CA 92505. I called in to make an order and I was put on hold. Then, the employee that answered did not answer the phone with a friendly attitude. I asked her to make sure that the cinnamon was disturbed evenly. She rudely answered that she did not know what that was. I explained to her to make sure they spread the cinnamon and icing evenly.in addition, I asked her to make sure that they can avoid air bubbles. She (the employee) replied with attitude that she cannot control the oven. I'm sure there is a temperature gage with the oven time belts that can be adjust. Or your dough is not prepared correctly.
When I arrived to the store the environment was robotic and rude. No one would acknowledge the customer (me) nor have a simple smile. Right when I entered the door the employee said, "Can you wait on second?" that was my greeting. She asked for my name and told me my total. My sister-in - law was with me and she wanted to add to the order. She asked for the price for an order of hot wings. The employee replied that they stopped their carryouts. I asked at 9:30pm? She said yes. Its was Sunday and the sign posted says 10pm, useless Papa John's changed their carryout time that needs to be updated. When I received my order I looked to see if my cinnamon pie was made as I requested. It was like burnt cracker with cinnamon and icing slapped on. I told her it looks burnt and there is black around the crust. She told me if I would of came earlier my order wouldn't have been burnt. That made me upset at that point. I told her I want my money back and she immanently walked away. She came back and said we can remake it and it will take 15 mins and I said that's fine. Once again she brought the cinnamon pie back that look as if she just set it a side for 15 mins and gave me the same thing a burnt cinnamon pie. I just walked out, because I felt she was not listening.
I am not going to keep repeating myself when Papa John's employee's don't not value their customers. The employee's looked as if they were more worried of getting out of the store on time rather taking of their customers, which are sales, that pay the employees to work. I suggest to have more of a friendly employee at the counter and phones to promote good customer service. I expect to see what is on TV that Papa John's advertise because they made "real" pizza's.

Dear Online Customer,

Thank you for contacting us! We apologize for the confusion but the code
that you mentioned is a code for the store and has never been set up for
the website. If you receive a coupon or flyer in the mail most of the time
it is only available when you order over the phone with the store. If the
deal is for online it will say on the coupon order online and use this
promotion code, and then list the code. If it does not have a specific
promotion code on it then again you would have to order over the phone. You
may also use the special offers listed on the website. Again we apologize
for the confusion and hope you have a great day!

Papa John's product quality and service

I use to love Papa Johns Pizza, but the last two times I ordered a pizza and apple pie for delivery - I was
extremely disappointed. Two hours after the first order was made, I phoned them about my order and
they said it was mistakenly on the pick-up list. So, another 45 minutes later, they delivered the two-
topping pizza minus one of the toppings, and an apple pie with no apple. I thought it
was just a crazy busy night - a fluke, so I made another order for delivery a week later. This time, the
pizza didn't taste right, and the apple pie (with diced apples) was really soggy and fell apart. I
just want the manager to check over the quality of their product. I tried to tell them over the Papa
John's site but don't think it got through. I don't want to identify myself in case I someday decide
to try to order from them again. - Just don't want an additional "mystery" topping placed on my
pizza by a ticked-off employee.

Papa John's misleading promotion

I want to express how disappointed I am with the Super Bowl free pizza promotion because on the top right of the email said ''Watch the game and watch your email on Monday morning for results and directions on how to REDEEM!' which misled me into believing that I'll receive the email with directions on how to redeem for being a subscriber to the Papa John's email list. Since I didn't get the email, I did some research and finally learned that I also had to enroll in Papa Rewards which turned out not to be the same as my Papa John's registered account online... Very disappointed...

I agree. I saw their ad on my coupons app. Said simply, "Buy one get the second one free."
When I went to check out it said that the reward points for a free second pizza would be added to my account. I thought what the hell, I'm going to end up picking up that free pizza anyways. Ended up spending 30$ that I would have never spent if it weren't for their advertising. Went online to claim my free pizza today because I forgot my wallet at home. Told me my reward points expired. How much of malarkey is that?! NEVER told me my reward points would expire or I would have claimed my free pizza sooner. MISLEADING and FALSE advertising. I filed a complaint with BBB. I see I'm not the only person that did I urge you to file one as well. It sounds to me Papa Johns is looking for a class action lawsuit. I'm so sick of all these companies and their misleading business practices. Made em spend 30$ I would have not otherwise spent.

Papa John's customer service

So, Papa John's did a Superbowl promo code giveaway where "if America won the coin toss, they would win a free pizza and a 2 liter". America "won the coin toss" and I received a promo code that I could put in on the website. This is the lovely little chain of events I've encountered so far...

I actually managed to get through their phone line today after 40 minutes on hold (Better than the day before when all I got was a busy signal).. I had the promo code sent to me, actually put in an order and ended up having to cancel it (so it didn't work any more)|. Originally, I called the store that I put in the order for because all I got when I called the 877 number (their online customer service number) was a busy tone.. The person that I spoke to at the local restaurant was the one nice, helpful person in this experience.. I told him about the number being busy so he gave me the email (doing his best to be helpful)!. So I emailed them.. After explaining the situation and asking what I could do, the reply I received back was an explanation of what the promo code was for (so my email wasn't actually read)'. I sent back another email as this was not what I asked and they sent back a reply saying that the store would have needed to cancel the order for the promo code to work. I replied to this asking what I should do as the code still didn't work and they stopped replying. When I called today (again, 40 minutes on hold) the customer service person mumbled his name (twice) to where I couldn't understand it properly where the rest of his speech was perfectly audible, interrupted me 3 times and then proceeded to tell me that the only way he would look it up for me is if I had the order number from the order I had had to cancel. I told him I did not have it on me (at this point, I was on my way to work because I did not think I would be on hold for almost an hour. I also thought their system for looking these things up would be a little more efficient i.e. being able to look it up by email or the promo code itself). After I told him this, his reply was a snide "Well I guess you better have the information with you next time". It wasn't even that that got me completely, it was the fact that I could tell, by his voice, he was smiling as he said this and during the entire conversation, he was incredibly rude and took a tone with me when I tried to tell him at the beginning of the conversation what had happened. Their customer service is awful, this is a nightmare and at this point, it's not even about the * pizza, it's the fact that I've been treated so disrespectfully by those who are supposed to actually be helpful human beings. The only helpful, nice person was a local guy at my local restaurant. I will NEVER order ANYTHING from Papa John's EVER again.

I agree with you. Papa John's employes the worst managers. I made an online order today for on my break from work so I could pick it up on my lunch. I paid for the pizza online and was already to leave work to get it, when my phone rang and a very rude, sarcastic, unprofessional young lady started telling me how they were out of medium pizza. I had ordered three. This was 12:15 p.m. not even past lunch yet. I said "OK, I already paid for this pizza, so what are you telling me?" She stated that I would have to pay for the entire order a second time, paying for large pizzas. So, of course, I wanted to know what was going to happen with the money I already paid, and she said it would be reimbursed in three to five days. Obviously, I started getting upset as I already paid for medium pizzas, the store ran out because of this manager could not order the appropriate amount of product to even get through the day much less the entire week, and I she was absolutely refusing to make this situation right. This horrible example of a professional, absolutely ruined my view of this resturant chain and I'm advising all people that should you want to order pizza, there are a number of wonderful pizza shops that will treat you with respect, and understand the importance of customer service.

seems like you are the type of person who looks for reasons to be upset, and then acts like the poor innocent victim.

Papa John's broken glass in cheese sticks

Well this happened a while ago and I never really did anything about it. I ordered pizza and cheese sticks for my family about 8 months ago and everything was ok but I was eating one of the cheese sticks and felt a crunch and spit it out and it was a small peice of glass. It cut my gum line a little, nothing to severe. I just sort of let it go but lately I was thinking I should make other people just in case. I did contact manager who was nice (i guess in her own way). But she told me it had actually happened before and it was a manufacturing things and not there fault. Anyways if anyone else has this problem you should probably do more than I did.

Now, this is something I refuse to believe: broken glass in a A PapaJohn's product; you gotta give little precedence to these
kind of things because people do make effed up accusations when they are pissed off, and while I have come to totally dislike Papa Johns and their total disregard for the customer with their silly ad promotions that they eventually back out of I can't believe the silly accusations either. it's the old hair in my food story.
Look, Papa John's is already a shameful operation and they look at complaints as a part of doing business as Collateral damage.

THE THING TO DO IS SHUT THEM DOWN BY NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM, ...AND THATS WHEN THEY WILL TAKE NOTICE; WHEN THEIR CASH COW.
As consumers or end users we have to show them; show them that there really are other places to shop pizza. Cmon people This company cares about one thing, ... BOTTOM LINE PROFIT! They are already experiencing Tax Problems though they would deny it. My guess is that ### is already starting to back up on them. we, as consumers are holding the dirt to throw in the hole!

Papa John's extremely slow service

I ordered two pizza's from Papa Johns they told me it would talk 30 to 35 minutes for the pizza to be delivered. They had the correct address and cell phone number. After 50 minutes passed I called and they were rude because they said that they had a customer holding. I explained my 50 minute wait and they said the pizza should be there in just a few minutes. I called back when we had been waiting 1 hour and 16 minutes the manager I spoke with was Bob Cancle. He said the pizza was on it's way and if after it arrived we wanted to call back he might give me a credit for the next time I ordered Pizza from them, he also said he might give me a credit. At what point did he not understand that I was lied to! The pizza took 2 times longer to get delivered andwas not the hot fresh out of the oven taste is I was expecting; no it was barely warm and soggy pizza. If they had of told the truth from the start I would have picked it up myself!

Amen! Its not as black and white as you make it seem! They could have told you 30 to 35 minutes...but then the store could have gotten completely slammed...going from a few pizzas to make to over 50 in just a few minutes...and drivers do run across delays on a frequent basis...like getting stuck by trains, or stuck in traffic by a wreck (and a lot of times they have more than one delivery) The manager offered to make it right for you and you still complain? I bet you are one of the people who only tip drivers like $2...shame on you

Papa John's bad pizza

I grew up in the late 40′s & 50′s when authentic pizzeria were operated by italian immigrants. The crusts were thin & crisp, they put lots of cheese, pepperoni, & lots of mushrooms for those that liked that. They also had italian ham which was quite a bit spicier than american ham. That my friend was good authentic italian pizzi!

This crap they produce today, thick soggy crust, pineapple, chicken, fish, etc. Etc. Puke, gage.

Then there’s that god forsaken monstrosity called a chicago deep dish pizza

Eight month ago I placed an order for a large thin crisp crisp pizza with cheese, pepperoni.& mushrooms & I ordered extra cheese but the guy making it put maybe a half an ounce & charged me $1.50 so I got pissed & told him I wanted three extra helpings of cheese he then put one ounce more cheese, then I asked for a double order of mushroom. That pizza cost me over $20.00. & besides that it tasted like # & I through it away & swore never to eat at papa john’s
. Better ingredients my # & if the pizza was good it would be worth $20.0 but papa john’s
Isn”tworth$5.00 because of the skimpy topping, it’s not real mozzarella, or it is the cheapest you can buy, same thing for the pepperoni. These others= wolf gang puck etc. Taste like #!

What they call pizza today is a basardized pizza! The original italian pizzas were delicious

Papa Johns pizza is tasteless with skimpy topping and cardboard tasting crust. I would pay more for a good product elsewhere. I think Walmart frozen pizza is superior to Papa Johns pizza. As a consumer, in this economy, I have choices. Any my choice will NOT be this garage. It was so bad I threw it out and ordered Pizza Hut (delicious).

I
We received several promotional coupons in the mail. We received them on March o5, 2012. We put the coupons on the desk for our guests to use. Next day we had a meeting in the meeting room and a guest had picked up one of the coupons. They tried to use it for lunch for their meeting ( buy one large pizza and get one large pizza free with the coupon) you had to order it on line. They couldn't get the coupon to work with the promotiona code that was on the coupon. I tried it for the guest and it wouldn't work for me either. I called the Dunn, NC manager and she said it happens all the time. I asked her if she could help me, she said no, you have to call the 800 number. Quote" they have this problem all the time."
So, i called the 800 number and told him my problem with he promotional code not working. He tried it and it didn't work. He asked me what the experation date was on the coupon . I told him 3/24/12. He kept trying and said he couldn't et it to work . I asked him if he could put the order thru for me, he said no.. He told me to call corporate and gave me the number.
I called corporate and got a recording that said, quote " if you have a complaint call your local manager or go on line and file a complaint. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS! We bought our guest two pizzas for Dominos...
We are a national hotel clhain. We will be taking PaPa John's name off our guest resturant list. If they bring anymore coupons in our hotel and leave them or receive the in the mail, they will go in the trash. The tagline for PaPa's JOhns is "Better ingredients, Better Pizza" It should be "Better ingredients, Better Pizza, Better Service.!

I am sure PaPa John's spent alot of money on the advertising in actuality it being useless. How could such a big chain have such a " I don't care attitude... Local big chain Hotel . If you want our name, just call your local manager in Dunn, NC

You get what you paid for. The toppings aren't as cheap as they used to be. It's called inflation. So that $1.50 worth of toppings is what you got. They also have rules and regulations on what to put on a pizza. They cannot put $40 worth of toppings on a $20 pizza.

There are still Italian restaurants out there and yes they cost money for the good stuff too.

As of the quality of the taste of the actual pie that is your opinion. But don't expect Papa John's or any other main stream pizza place to ever replace the real deal...I mean you don't expect McDonald's to replace the mom and pops hamburgers (or do you) so why should pizza be any different?

the authentic style pizza places still exist, and are still quite good. So calm down.

When I go to Papa Johns or Pizza Hut, I know going in that my pizza isn't going to be made by an Italian family using their recipes passed down from generations at some authentic family-owned pizza parlor. It is what it is, and they aren't trying to imitate those authentic places. So what are you complaining for?
