I received a FREE sample of PAINVANISH. Than they sent me another packet that I did not order and refused it at the post office. Now I get a bill for $19.94. The product did not help me. I will not pay for something I do not like and never ordered.
My complaint is the same as others received: I did not order but was billed for $19.94. I tried to call the telephone numbers given , one on the front of the bill and one on the back in very small print. Neither made any connection at all.
I was able to reach their Customer Service rep, told her I never ordered/never received/will not pay for "FREE" PainVanish product and to remove me from any further contact. I followed up with a letter which I copied to the Bureau of Consumer Protection, NJ Consumer Advocate Office, Better Business Bureau and NJ Attorney General's Office Fraud Division. This is a scam.
Same as all compllaints - I ordered the free sample - and then received a bill - I've written to them via the payment request and am still getting a bill.
Same as other complaints. It says they will pay for postage to return but how does one go about getting them to pay? Is it O.K. to just keep product, even though I do not want it, rather than to pay postage to return it?
I'm right in there with the rest of the people above, the very same thing happened to me. I've just now e-mailed the company and will follow up with a phone call tomorrow. My question is, do we keep the product (and throw it away) if we can't get a response? Pain Vanish is a scam and there should be a penalty or lawsuit against them.
Same store here. I was billed for $19.94 for something that I never ordered. It is my understanding that I can just keep what came and not pay for it because I never ordered it to begin with. If I need to file a legal complaint, I would appreciate someone emailing me the correct address. I am not lazy but am not feeling very good right now.
It was a free offer. I sent the $4.95 shipping fees and included a copy of the offer only to receive bills I'm up to my sixth notification asking me to honor the attached bill. I haven't called Customer Sevice yet, but will do asap. I'm glad to say they have not sent more of their product. I hope they do not report this to the credit bureau.
To Whom It May Concern
I have sent back three of your statements stating I didn't get anything but a sample tube. I would appreciate if you would kindly take my name off of your mailing list. I don't want to be bother with a Company that pressure's customer's into stating they sent them something and never did. So I did pay your 19.94 for something I didn't get because I have too many Medical bills to paid for my Cancer. And I sure don't want to be put into a collection agency for Stupid Crap like this. If I do get anymore Statments from your company. I WILL HAVE THE BBB HANDLE IT.
NANCY OCASIO
As far as I concerned, this stuff is no better than all that 'Emu-Oil' garbage and I'm not paying for it. I didn't order anything more than a FREE sample so their notices go in the 'ROUND-FILE'. This outfit obviously doesn't know that you're not obliged to pay for something that wasn't knowingly ordered in the first place. 'Snake-Oil' peddlers in the truest sense of the word. Scam artists like this give people who do offer actual free samples a hard way to go. I know I'll be a lot less likely to send for them in the future..!
I got a cream I did not want or order. I'm mad, they keep billing, sent mail and got no responce but a past due bill here is a link that tells the story of how they agreed to stop this practice but they still do it http://directmag.com/legal/other/hci-022208/
I sent a card in to receive a free sample. I received a patch and a tube and a bill for $19.94. I called customer service and they were nice about it. They removed the bill to zero and told me to keep the 2 oz tube. The customer service number is on the back of your bill in smaller print.
I tried the product and did not find it helped anything. I called to make sure they would not send any more. The customer service person was very nice and said she would remove my name. Several weeks later I got another shipment with a bill for 29.95. The invoice says I will receive another next month if I don't check an appropriate delivery date month. I am furious, especially after reading all the other comments. The back of my invoice has a "No-Obligation-To-Buy" Policy statement, along with an address to return. I can call for a postage paid label from the customer service department, which I will do.
Same story here. Free sample, then a 2 oz. tube and bill I never authorized. I was thinking of paying for just this first bogus "order" thinking it was a misunderstanding, but after reading the posts on this site I can see that would just encourage them to send me more. I think I'll return the order and request delivery confirmation from the P.O.
Same story, but now I have received a letter from the RMCB Collection Agency for... you guessed it, $19.94. We are all frustrated by this company, but can anyone offer advice as to how I can effectively stop this harassment?
Are these people still at it? I worked for the company that phones you BRIEFLY-for 2 weeks last December. I couldn't scam you any more. The company doing this scam is in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Its an awful company to work for, and I had visions of the cops showing up at the door at any minute. Don't worry about a collection agency for $20.00. They won't take you to court for such a little amount. Best wishes to you all - keep saying "no"
