Overstock.com Customer service

I placed an order for two rugs. I used my billing name and ended up clicking on the first credit card number which was my boyfriends. I call within the hour and explain what happened and that I needed to cancel the order and reorder with the correct credit card information. I also emailed. The next time I go online I see both orders being processed so I live chat a lady that said she'd take care of it. Today I get an email that both orders had been shipped. I literally called, chatted and emailed at least 6 times and they shipped both orders. After explaining that if shipped I would be able to return the order because they're being shipped to Georgia and I'm in California. They literally charged a credit card with the wrong billing name after being cancelled twice. I will never shop with overstock again and suggest my friends do the same.

Overstock.com Damaged chairs

My husband ordered two living room chairs from www.overstock.com and both arrived damaged. We contacted Overstock support service right away and after we explained everything they asked us not to worry and promised to send us a replacement. We sent damaged chairs back and several weeks later received a replacement and those were the same chairs with the same damages! We contacted Overstock again and demanded some reasonable explanation but they claimed that we were talking nonsense and refused to communicate any further!
We called and emailed many times but they simply stopped replying. I would not recommend this company to anyone! We are now stuck with two damaged chairs and have no idea what to do.

Overstock.com Hanover outdoor furniture / melting

I live in Phoenix Arizona. I purchased 2 new sets (4 chairs) for my patio costing over $1000.00 We have had our first day at 90 degrees and the fabric is literally melting. They wont cover under warranty because they say its cased by a refection off a window. Really? my old patio set which I still have had no problems and the fabric is till in good shape. What is going to happen when it hits 118 degrees like the normal summer time? is it going to explode? they have offered me $130.00 to buy new cushions. I am sorry but that will barely buy cushions for 1 chair not 4. No where in the description does it state the fabric will not stand up in the heat here in Arizona. They should not be able to ship something here that wont work in this climate.

Really? you offered $130 to get cushions for 4 chairs...cant buy cushions for 1 chair for that. That is after the firs offer of nothing the 2nd offer of 15% coupon off my next purchase which I can get online anytime. then this unreasonable offer. I give you until Friday to offer a reasonable resolution then I am filing a small claims court. there is noting in the description that states it cant handle the heat here in Arizona.

Overstock.com Leah room darkening curtain panel pairs - incorrect size received

Order [protected].

I do not have a printer. You sent the wrong curtains and I need to return them. I received them in january and have asked for a courier slip to be sent. Please read all email correspondence associated with my order and send me a label. This is taking a ridiculous time. Please forward to your complaints team.

Email is the only way to contact me. If this continues I will seek legal advice as I expect a full refund and the error is with you.

Overstock.com Incorrect items shipped and bed assembly ridiculously difficult

I ordered a bed from Overstock.com almost 3 weeks ago. They promised the bed would arrive 5 days later, which I thought was reasonable. UPS then stated they lost the bed (how do you LOSE a bed?!) and then Overstock said they would resend the lost items in a separate, expedited shipment. UPS then found the first "lost" shipment, and resent it back to the address. The second shipment then arrived two days later and had to be returned.

Once the bed arrived, we began trying to assemble it. The instructions were VERY poor, little to no description, poor image descriptions, none of the furniture pieces were labeled to correlate with the instruction booklet, all of the screws and extra parts had NO explanation as to how they fit into which section, AND the boxes that the parts were shipped in were somewhat damaged, making it difficult to know whether the pieces inside were secure or not. Packaging on the outside of the boxes also made it difficult to know which furniture piece was which, due to a lack of labeling well for the user to see.

Lastly, I ordered a TWIN size bed frame, headboard, etc. The mattress was also supposed to be a twin size... but they sent a FULL size mattress. This item was opened first so it could properly "inflate" and once the size difference was noticed, all previous work to make the bed were futile since none of the aforementioned pieces would fit together without all of the sizes being the same!

Overstock.com Absolutely no service

I tried to buy something from Overstock but was not able to place an order and wasn't able to find a reason. I thought that it was better to contact Overstock and ask for help, but unfortunately there was no one who helped me! I sent several messages and explained that I was interested in buying their product and asked them to help me with my order, but there was nothing but silence. I tried so many times but it seems that they did not care. Very poor way to do business, I can't believe these guys were not interested in new customers! According to all the reviews online Overstock is a terrible place to buy, so maybe that's a good thing that they ignored me, who knows. Beware!

Overstock.com Incorrect order and no resolution

I have contacted customer service on 3 occasions with no result. I received an incorrect order from orange onions, one of your market sellers. I have been told 3 times over the course of 2 weeks to contact orange onions for a resolution, so I did 3x. I get no response, despite Overstock's promise to the contrary. This item only cost 19.99. The refund Im requesting is not even the main issue anymore; it's the fact that No one will resolve this for me. I'm tired of the runaround.

Overstock.com Wrong product

I ordered 2 women's specific size hats. My email invoice specifically said women's size. I actually received the hats in the men's size, which are too large for me. I spoke to customer service who assured me I would receive the right size if I agreed to have new ones sent. Once again, I received the men's size, and I have to send them back again. If the product is not available, just say that and do not keep sending the wrong items that are similar. I will be purchasing them from another retailer and will not do business again with overstock.

Overstock.com Bad website

I have ordered a rug from this website Overstock and did not receive it. Although it was said on their website that product was available it wasn't. I did not receive my rug because it was not in stock. They contacted me and offered me to pick something else but I refused and asked for a refund. Their rep said he will try to think of something and promised to contact me back later. I waited patiently but there was no news so I sent them a message asking about my money but did not receive a reply. Seems like they scammed me.

Overstock.com Very poor quality

Ordered some items from www.overstock.com and everything I received was of a poor quality and looked nothing like pictures on their website!
And of course no one ever wanted to help me and they refused to refund my money.
At the begging they were nice, but then they become very rude and said that it was their final decision! Too bad I did not check the reviews! I literally wasted my money on garbage! Avoid!

I use to shop on Overstock often. Not anymore, due to too many bait and switch items. Different product/quality from what they send you. A few years ago they started deleting negative comments at their discretion. Sure them leave up some but boost the item with what I BELIEVE are fake exceedingly positive reviews. I can't believe that many people are okay with getting a similar, low quality item.

Overstock.com Fraudulent refund

I made a purchase from overstock. I returned the item right away due to it being the wrong color. It took them forever to issue me a refund. By the time the refund occurred, the visa card that I used was closed. I had closed the account not even thinking about it at the time. I spent 3 days and many hours on the phone with them trying to get them a refund. They keep saying you have to contact your bank. I did, the bank did not receive the refund because the account was closed. Basically they said I am out of luck and will not issue me a refund or return my product. They are committing fraud and I plan to report this anywhere and everywhere I can until this horrific customer service company is shut down. I would not recommend anyone use this site. Wayfair is much better and has awesome customer service.

Overstock.com Part of my order was not in stock

I finally received my order from Overstock! I have ordered several pillows and cases from this site. Price was great, items looked fine, but one pillow and two cases were missing! I immediately contacted Overstock customer care and they said that they will take a look at my issue and promised to contact me back later. Several days later I received a message stating that the missing items were no more in stock. They told me that I can return everything and get a refund, but I refused! I really liked what I received and I demanded the missing pieces. That was not my fault! It was said on their site that everything was in stock and it was only their fault that they did not update the information. So as a customer I want to get what I paid for.

Overstock.com Spam emails!

First it took them 5 days to only process my order! And it was only after I contacted customer service and asked what was taking so long. Order was in process for 5 days and then it finally shipped. That was absolutely ridiculous, because I paid extra for express shipping. I received my order and everything was great! But then I've started to get spam emails from them every day! I receive at least 10 emails a day! And I have no idea how to stop it! Please, Overstock, stop sending me spam emails!

Such terrible service when they steal the products that they sell. They sold over 750.00 worth of our products and then came up with this 100.00 a month fee to use "their software" they make it very difficult to contact them and then when you finally are able to contact them, they tell you that you owe them for sending your product to their customers.

Overstock.com Bad experience

I ordered some furniture from Overstock, but when I received my order I was extremely disappointed with it. Items I received were defective and quality was very poor. I contacted Overstock customer service and even sent them pictures, and they offered me a store credit! I said that I don't need it since I'm not ordering anything from them again. So I demanded a refund, but they refused to give my money back. Absolutely ridiculous company! Horrible company!

Overstock.com Dishonest company

Overstock is the worst website I have ever used. Customer service is extremely rude and ignorant, their reps are completely useless! Their website has many bugs and technical problems. I made an order and purchased something from this site. I received two confirmation emails for two orders, but since I never made that second order I immediately contacted customer service. They said there will be no problem. They said that I can send the second order back and they'll give me a full refund. Well, after I received two orders I did as they said and sent one back to them. Then few weeks later my money was all refunded. But then I received an email from Overstock saying that I owe them money! I contacted overstock and they said it was my fault that I placed 2 different orders and that I need to return the money or my original items. What? Then all of a sudden they say there was a mistake made and I don't owe anything. How can a big company like this be so unorganized! Worst online shopping experience ever.

Overstock.com (2) element 32" flat screen tvs (refurbished)

On December 1, 2015 I purchased two (2) Element Flat Screen TVs. The TVs were delivered on Dec. 23, 2015. After having the TVs professionally hung and connected, it was discovered that the sound and lip movement (like a Chinese film over movie) were not insync. I called Overstock.com Customer Service concerning this issue and was told that the TVs passed their inspection and were fine and that there was not anything that they could do. I asked if the insurance that I purchased on the TVs could be used to have someone come out and try to correct the problems. I was told that the insurance would not cover this issue, only if the TV malfunctioned, i.e. not turn on, or no picture with sound. Well, I considered my issue a malfunction, however, they disagreed. No other options were offered to remedy this issue. Oh, did I mention that neither of the remote controls work with the TVs. I will never purchase anything from Overstock.com ever again in life. I've learned my lesson, it may cost more to purchase from an established busy, i.e., Best Buy, Costco, Sam's, than to have to deal with the headaches from Overstock.com. Overstock.com 13.5 by 9.5 foot wool empire rug.

Rock like objects imbedded in wool of a very expensive rug. Contacted customer care many times, got conflicting answers. Final answer was " if I returned the rug and the warehouse found it to be damaged, Overstock would replace it but I would, and I repeat, I would be charged return shipping and possibly charged for replacement. I wasn't going to lose my original investment and have nothing to show for it, so l told them " forget I ever complained!" What I wasn't told at the time was most if not all of their merchandise is what we used to call "seconds". They may be high end products but they were rejected due to flaws or mistakes in manufacturing. I will never order anything that I can't take a loss on from Overstock again.

Overstock.com Never again order; pathetic delivery and even pathetic staff

I ordered a coffee table (Anjin Enzo Contemporary 2-tone multi-storage coffee table) with Brand of "Furniture of America" from Overstock.com. I received the parts a week after placing the order, just to realize that there were missing parts, without which I could not even start the process of building the table. When I registered a complaint with customer care of Overstock.com, the gentleman names Kade promised that I would receive USD 50.00 as compensation and that the parts would be replaced at the earliest. What happened next... Guess what! I get an email mentioning that the order for missing parts for "Altra Carson End Table' has been placed and I shall hear from their customer care in 2 business days! So wrong parts ordered for wrong product and not a mention of the refund! When i called customer care again to confirm what's going on, I hear that there was no refund promised or registered in system. Also, the parts were wrongly ordered as I had guessed. They corrected it in their system (apparently... let's see what email i receive next from Jessica). and there was NO promise for any compensation...

This is not the first time Overstock.com has messed with the delivery of parts for "Furniture of America". Just a few days earlier, my headboard that ordered from Overstock.com had parts with holes drilled in wrong places., They finally had to send replacement parts which arrived after 8 days of complaining.

Never any order from OVERSTOCK.COM.

Particularly, Furniture of America is Horrible! as much as "Overstock.com"

Overstock.com Terrible customer service and products

I am completely outraged at the lack of care and respect that Overstock.com gives their customers. I had an issue with an item that was Overstock.com's fault and I am the one that has to suffer. First off it took a week to get the items after I purchased them and it has taken over 2 1/2 weeks to get my refund (I still haven't received it and they have had the products in their warehouse for 9 days) I am unable to get the right items until I get my merchandise credit back to exchange them. How does Overstock.com even stay in business? The customers are treated like crap. I have contacted them 7 times in regards to this order and I still haven't gotten results. This is literally the worst I have been treated by any company ever and that includes Walmart, of who I also despise. I will never buy from them again and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Overstock.com Never can ship item

Overstock has cancel both of my order due to inventory error:
February 01, 2015 Order# [protected] cancel by overstock
February 03, 2015 Order# [protected] cancel by overstock
now my C/C is on hold because they (Overstock) has not release the funds for the February 03, 2015 Order# [protected]

When talking to customer support i asked if this follow item was in stock "CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme SLC7200 Intel i7-5820K 3.3GHz Liquid Cool Gaming Computer Item #: [protected]" and the customer support personal stated it was in stock but guess what he could not place the order because the fund are locked by the last order February 03, 2015 Order# [protected] cancel by overstock.

This was a birthday gift for a birthday party on February 7 and if they would not of have a inventory error (2 times) it would had been ship on time! At this point Overstock needs HELP! Very dissatisfied customer!

I was tell that a upper management of Overstock.com was supposed to be calling me, let see if this happen today 02-06-2015: 8.15 am in one hour

My son ordered several items from them. They did not bother to tell him the items were out of stock until after he ordered them.

They then dragged their heels regarding returning his money.

Several years ago Overstock was a great way to shop- they actually had good discounts. That is not the case anymore- I don't get excited over 7% discounts. I shop elsewhere.

still getting run around do not buy from this company if you buy protection plan it is worthless all they want to do is give refund back to overstock account without including the protection plan refund so basicaly you get screwed .I do not recomend this company at all 3 months of nothing but run around.

I ordered a bed comforter to ship international but was charged another price that was listed on their website. I contacted their rep and cancelled the order within 5 mins. However they still shipped the order. There excuse is that they could not put in the cancellation in time to cancel the order.

Chatted live with a "Brant" about a 75% off email that was sent and asked if the watch above was indeed 75% off. He responded yes, off of list price. I accepted the offer and asked how to pay. He then backed off and offered to sell the watch at a price roughly double. Buyer beware on overstock.com.

Hey I have had a good outcome with many things I have purchased from Overstock over many years. However I purchased an accent chair, actually a salon burgundy brocade chair, a couple of years ago. It was an accent chair, perhaps sat on 6 times. Then last month, it collapsed, actually in the wood not joints, I sat on it. OMG I thank the Lord I was not hurt, but oh my they won't repalce.
