On Line Golf Wholesale review: Counterfeit golf equipment 11

onlinegolfwholesale.com is a company whose web site is based in Hong Kong. They sell golf equipment that is ordered from their site and shipped to the customer from China. Their prices are ridiculously low and that is the first thing you should be aware of. They describe themselves as follows. "Welcome to Onlinegolfwhosale! As Reliable and professional wholesale golf equipment company, we supply cheap Golf Clubs in high-quality, including Golf Drivers, Golf Irons, Golf Putters from Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Ping, Mizuno and so on. We have run the golf business for 10 years and have many regular customers. Our goal is " Your Happiness, our Goal". Most of our golf clubs have no minimum order requirements, so you can purchase retail products at wholesale prices! Besides Wholesalers can get even larger discounts if it is a big order! We use the brand shipping company such as DHL, EMS and UPS to ship all our packages. Every golf clubs for sale on our onlinegolfwholesale is 100% Guarantee. All the products are ordered directly from authorized manufacturer and then shipped to customers from our oversea supplier". They also state that all of their product are OEM. I recently ordered a Taylormade driver from them. When I received it I immediately noticed that it was not manufactured by Taylormade - wrong shaft, cheap grip, counterfeit head cover and club head. I emailed them telling them it was counterfeit and received the following response "Hello Sir, Our golf clubs are in good quality and low price. It's worth buying the clubs at such low price. The feel and quality are as the same as the original one. Since you have received the golf club, you can try it by yourself. We can guarantee the quality of clubs. If there is any quality problem with the club, please feel free to contact us. If you will keep the club, we will return you some money. Regards". This is the last I have heard from them. They have no refund or return policy given the fact that they don't want anyone to discover where they are operating from. I also found it interesting that if you do a Google search on the phone number they list [protected], you find a number of other internet golf sites operating in the same format, same prices, same style. They list a Anna Hua as the owner of the number. However, when you go to any of these sites, there is no physical address, or the address given is purposely vague. Those other sites include: ordergolfonline.com, tradekool.com, golfdiscountsale.com. Finally, I found it interesting that if you select "contact us" at the bottom of their home page, you end up on a page that has some very interesting user comments.

I too fell into this trap. This same phone number is with a website called clubscheapgolf.com. I got charged more than what I had originally thought on a Taylormade RBZ driver. I received emails back from them but in the first they told me it would be easier to keep the order and they would take 10% off the next order. Than said they had to keep 20% because of "handling fees", than changed to 15%, which I would not accept. It is now in the hands of my bank's fraud dept.

Very very helpful. I think I've fallen for this scam too. I've just bought a set of Callaway irons, and am now trying to cancel. As the other poster says they have similar sites all over the Net.
How could I be so dumb ?

Hi,
THANK'S very much for your opinions. I was just going to buy two taylormade r11 fairway when I found this website... Thank's ! I didn't make the order. I am from Spain and they told me that the shipping to Spain was free! That was what I really didn't think. It's very strange to have a free shipping to europe... I called them and they told me that was true, that was free... Then I started to find some information in the web about this website and I found this one... THANK's everybody!

I've been stung in the same way too, I have a set of counterfeit TaylorMade R11's that I can't even return! They won't give me a return address. They operate under many similar site names now. "supplywholesalegolf.com", "discountsgolfshop.com" .
I was overcharged, not allowed to cancel and they also tried some identity theft when they asked for colour photo copies of the front and back of my CC and a copy of my passport! WTF. Luckily I'm not that stupid!
My CC company has it in hand and looks like I will get all my money back, but I would of liked to return the copy clubs. I work in China and it would have been a pleasure to give them back personally to these scam artists!

I too am a victim of these counterfitters. Completed an order for a set of X-22s, tansaction timed out when I hit CONFIRM, so I got on the websites live chat and the rep confirmed that the order HAD NOT gone through. SO, I went ot another site, found the clubs at a similar price and ordered thru them. I received an email confirming my order with a 3.5% higher price than what they stated. I got on their online chat and asked WTF? Said my bank was charging it, not them. Called my bank, they said it was not them and that I was being lied to. Got on chat again and attempted to cancel order. Was told it would be a 10% fee to cancel the order. Told them cancel order and if they refunded less than 100% of what I was charged that I would have to take it higher. They said OK and would cancel. I'll let you know how that turns out. While doing this, I received an email from the first company stating my order (once again 3.5$ higher than quoted) has been placed. WHAT? Talked to their online chat that since they had told me my order was not placed that I went to another company (turns out they are the same!) and that since they infomed me that my order had not been placed that I went elsewhere and they need to cancel my order. This time they only wanted a 5% fee to cancel. Informed them it was their fault, refund my entire transaction amount or they too would be hearing from higher up. I will update this when it goes to the next level, but as of right now, neither transaction is cancelled on my credit card, but they are aware of everything that is going on. Sad ain't it?

I likewise found these articles a little too late! Only my order was with a company called Mulberrys outlet.co.uk - ordered a mulberry poly push bag, which when charged to my CC was from a company called "SHUNGQIANWANGLUO SUZHOU". No bag has materialized so, I now have to wait till 30 days have passed before the CC company can seek to recover the money. These companies are obviously expanding their business with other goods. Having learnt the hard way, in future if something sounds to good to be true...avoid!

I found your article a little too late... I was going to order from onlinegolfwholesale.com, and while I was in the "order" section I hesitated and started doing research on the Net to see if this was too good to be true. Indeed, all the reviews I found, such as yours, were negative and the issue of couterfeit clubs is a recurring theme. So I decided to cancel the order before completing it. Hourray I thought to myself I had dodged a bullet there... Well not quite! Since I had already entered my CC number in the appropriate space, eventhough I clicked on the "CANCEL" button at the bottom of the page, I was surprised to see a charge in CNY on my CC a couple days later from a company called "SHUNGQIANWANGLUO SUZHOU". Turns out that as soon as you enter your CC information on their web page they register the transaction without confirmation. I tried cancelling it from my CC comapany but will have to wait 30 days from the transaction date to do so.
Thanks for sharing your experience and hope to help others stay away from these fraudulent web sites!
