Old Navy coupon

Nov.30 I have shopped at Old Navy for a decade, I had a 10$ reward that expired today & I went in a hurry tonight to use the reward I had only cash on me, no wallet . Ariel the manager I spoke to said I have to pay with my Old Navy card and could not take cash. Old Navy that is not right that you do not accept cash with cash rewards. My reward is now going to expire because I was not going to go get my wallet and come back in the rain. I just shop there always like this past black Friday! Also we should be able to pay our credit cards in the store another STUPID policy OldNavy

If they gave a $10 reward coupon that can only be used when you charge on the Old Navy Credit card then thats what you need to do.

Old Navy damaged / tampered

My mother bought a pair of jeans from old navy ( $19 sale), she asked me her daughter to purchase her another pair which indeed intended to the next day.Day later I did, searching for her size being 12 LONG, i scanned scanned and scanned.

Finally finding a pair that said 12 long I bought them and gave them to my mother. Day's later she decided to try them on and realized that the jeans didn't fit. The sizing specifically said 12 Long but they were too short, so of course she decided to return them or exchange all she wanted were her jeans. Today my mother went to exchange them and instead of return her money back or exchanging the jeans, they were insinuating that she cut them and sew them back together just to return them, when the jeans I purchased that way but didn't notice the length(My fault ?).

The problem is if the pants looked that way when i bought them and someone did indeed cut them why exactly were they able to be returned and now it's my mother's lost. The story was said the jeans were purchased that way, but the blame was on my mother because she noticed that the jeans were tampered with and wanted an exchange, yet she couldn't. If that’s the case the jeans should’ve been returned or exchanged by the person who cut the jeans, instead of the cashier constantly trying to make it seem as if my mother did it. Why didn't the cashier notice before the person who returned the tampered jeans notice that they were messed up, or even put them back on display as 12 LONG, when they were cut short ?

Therefore she left the store without the tampered jeans, new exchanged jeans nor her money back.A WASTE.

You said, "when the jeans I purchased that way but didn't notice the length(My fault ?)."

Then why are you blaming anyone else?

Old Navy coupon adjustment

Purchased well over $100 of merchandise at Old Navy, Plymouth, ma - forgot $30 off coupon. Sales slip was sent home w/son to NC, Went back to store following week with credit card and coupon to have transaction recalled and coupon applied. Manager, Lindsay, said the receipt was needed. So left, called the Old Navy credit card co and explained the issue - Margie said I have 30 days to redeem the coupon with the sales slip - so called my son to have the receipt mailed back. Went on vacation for 2 weeks, came back last weekend, went down to the store with the receipt today and :Lindsay told me, enjoying every minute of it, that their policy was to not redeem a coupon on a sales slip unless I brought all the merchandise back, returned it, repurchased, and used the coupon - well, you could have told me that the at my first visit and not wasted my time. Called the corporate office and complained about their policy and the manager's idea of customer service. So I have a promise that, with enough customer complaints, they will reconsider their policy, given that so many other stores accept a slip and the coupon after the fact. Also, they are sending a $15 gift card for my trouble - at least it's half of what I could have saved. I'll be spending it at another Old Navy - NOT Plymouth...then cancelling my ON credit card and shopping at Kohl's, where they know the value of their customers.

Maybe the only fault here was in the first sentence - that you forgot the coupon! That's not anyone's problem but your own. I'm sick of customers thinking that we can just do impossible things for them that physically don't work with the system just because they want us to do so! You clearly have never worked in retail, because your expectations were completely unrealistic. Contrary to popular customer belief, Old Navy is NOT there to kiss your ### and bend over backwards for you, and you are clearly deluded and on your high horse if you think that your failure to prepare and organize your shopping trip will devastate Old Navy as a company because you won't stop there. Organize yourself next time and stop blaming it on sales associates.

Old Navy loudness of employees

Went shopping at old navy today and spent close to $70. While shopping they were taking donations for kids with cancer which is very nice, however there were two loud employees screaming at the top of their lungs asking for donations. By the time I left between the loud music and employees yelling I had a headache. Made shopping there very unenjoyable.

Old Navy bad service

I was at Old Navy on there 30% off the whole store sale (unintentional) I wanted to buy a Blue Jays shirt and I saw a pair of pants on clearance for $10 that I wanted. The line up was huge and I decided to just wait in line since that wasn't a big deal. After waiting 15 minutes, I see the women working there, talking to a few people in line. I wasn't sure what she was saying though. I continued to wait a few more minutes and after about 20 mins the women finally comes over to us and says the debit is down. She said to continue to wait in line to put your items on hold and go to the ATM and then come back and wait in line again. I was frustrated. I asked her if she could please just put my items on hold (she was really just wandering around the store anyways) and she agreed. When i waited in line again, I noticed how painfully slow the workers were. Even to go grab a stapler or something, they would walk so slowly to get it. Zero sense of urgency. I have worked in the same situation and i believe you should ALWAYS be working your fastest for the customers that have been waiting in the line for so long. Although I do understand debit goes down, systems can be slow etc... I have noticed that this location at least, the employees are very very slow.

Old Navy destroyed store

I went to the Oglethorpe Mall Old Navy to buy shorts since they were having 30% off for July 4th. I got there before the store opened. When the gates were raised and the waiting customers were allowed to walk in I was shocked. The store was a reck! I worked retail for 8 years and was never allowed to leave at night without it being ready for the next day. That is bad for business. I would have bought more if the clothes were presentable. This is one reason I don't shop at Macy's!

Old Navy late fees

My monthly payment started out to be payment was $72.00. My payment was short by $2.00 and Old Navy charged me late fees and kept charging me a late fees of $25.00 and over the limit charges. They now have me owing $170.00. This is an outrage ! I have an impecable payment history (no lates since opening the account). I called and asked that they waive the late fee. I spoke to a lady by the nae of Gwen (id #2748) whom identified herself as a manager. I asked for the name of the General Manager and she told me that she didn't know. Their billing practice are unethical! I am also going to file a complaint with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission's office.

I am requesting to have the late fees and over the limit fees waived from the monthly payment, not from the balance of the loan. Having me resume my regular payment of $72.00

Old Navy tuesday - discount day of 10%

On Tuesdays when you use your Old Navy credit card, you will get 10% off.
So when I purchased something yesterday (Tuesday), I noticed that night that I wasn't given the 10% discount.
I returned to the store the next day inquiring why I did not get the discount.
The cashier took the receipt from my hands and looked at the receipt as if I stole something.
After the receipt was reviewed, I was told that I had to bring all the items back for a return before anything can be done.
I then asked for a manager.
The manager came and took me to another cash register. After spending 13 minutes at the register, I was told that I did not get the 10% because I over exceeded the number of discounts I can get. I then asked for a further explanation. The explanation given was that the tee shirts are "buy one and get the other free" (1st discount), I used a $5 cash reward (which major stores consider as a gift card or cash) and then another $5 cash reward - all in total, I received 3 discounts. The manager said the cash rewards are considered as a discount. I told the manager that I disagree. If other stores (especially their sister stores - Gap and Banana Republic do not have this policy, why does Old Navy?) Major stores like Macy's or Bloomingdale consider rewards as cash, store credit or a gift card. The manager said it always has been their store policy. I also asked the manager where is it printed or posted that Old Navy has a maximum number of allowable discounts? An answer was not given.
As of today, I am not longer purchasing at Old Navy. I already told my friends and colleagues and asked for their support to stop buying from Old Navy. I know we won't want a difference to their store policy or a dent into their profits, it's just the principle of things.

WOW. You are deciding to no longer shop at Old Navy AND 'recruiting' people you know to do the same because THEY DIDN'T GIVE YOU ENOUGH DISCOUNTS? They tried their best to investigate and amend the situation and YOU HAD THREE DISCOUNTS ALREADY. You sound like a greedy whiny spoiled BRAT. They don't need people like you shopping there anyways. Good riddance! :)

Old Navy credit card

I have several complaints about this credit card. First of all, I signed up by accident. I was asked if I wanted an Old Navy card, and I specifically asked if it was a credit card and was told that it wasn't. Well when I got it I ended up using it. Which brings me to my second complaint, the interest on this card is outrageous!

My real complaint though is this: I was homeless and jobless for a few months and obviously because of that not able to keep up with payments. I called the company to explain my situation and see if something could be worked out. They were unsurprisingly unhelpful and uncaring. I recently received a settlement offer in the mail from Old Navy. It was offering to pay 70% of my debt to them, if I paid the other 30%. Well I'm starting to get back on my feet, I have a job, and a place to stay, and I figured that sounded like an awesome deal. I got this letter on February 12th saying that this offer would expire the 18th. I immediately called when I got this letter. I explained that I was definitely interested in the settlement offer, but wouldn't be able to pay by the 18th. I was transferred to a supposed "manager" (although you can never be too sure when you're speaking to out-sourced customer service people), who said that it would not be a problem to extend the offer until the 22nd. That as long as I made a payment by then the settlement would still be relevant and I would be able to take advantage of it.

Well on the 20th, I called ready to make my payment, and was told that the settlement offer was no longer valid and had expired the 18th. I explained that I was told I could have an extension until the 22nd, but they said they had no record of it. I asked if I could review the tapes (because every time you call they say it's being recorded), and I was told that they aren't allowed to let the customers listen to the recordings. So I asked them to review it and they said they would. I called later that same day to ask if they'd reviewed the tapes and was told that they had, and that nothing was ever said about an extension. Obviously that meant they had not reviewed my tapes, if there were even tapes to be reviewed.

I asked if there was anything else that could be done, because if this settlement couldn't be made, I simply wouldn't be able to pay. I was told there was nothing else they could do, and if I didn't want to pay, that was my decision and I would have to suffer the consequences. Not to mention throughout this entire phone conversation I was treated very poorly and disrespectfully.

I no longer care about my credit, as I am leaving the country in a few months, but I wanted to do the right thing and repay my debt, while there was an offer making me able to do so. I can't afford to pay off the whole thing-thanks to Old Navy's ridiculous interested, I've accrued enough of it, where if I only made a minimum payment every month (which is about all I can afford) I'd be paying it off for the next 20 years.

I will make sure I tell as many people as I possibly can to NEVER open a credit card with Old Navy, or really even shop there. I know I, myself won't ever buy another thing from Old Navy. Nor will any of my family members and several of my friends that I've spoken with.

Old Navy customer service

On Saturday 6/30/12 I went to the Old Navy in the Pacific View Mall in Ventura Ca. They had there flip flops on sale for $1.00.I took all 4 of my children with me and they selected the flip flops and other items that they wanted. The line to pay was lengthy and when it was my turn I placed my items on the counter and the girl (Gabbi) behind the counter was extremely rude to me. She very rudely told me that I could only purchase 5 pairs of flip flops. I asked why were other people being allowed to purchase more than 5 pairs and I wasn't. She rolled her eyes at me, but did not answer me. Again she looked at me with her eyes half closed and said you can only buy 5 pairs. I said ok, can I purchase 5 pairs and my daughter purchase the other 5 pair. She handed me back my items and said well then count them out and next time only come to the counter with 5 pairs. None of the other employees were having the other customers do this. When I asked why I was being asked to do this, I was just ignored by the employee. It's a shame that people do not value their job anymore. They take them for granted and do them poorly. I was very disappointed with the service that I received at Old Navy.

While I disagree with the attitude of the employee, you must realize that a $1.00 flip flop sale is something that will draw a number of customers. Sorry you aren't the only one who is privy to this information and you should not be able to buy 100 pairs just because you're there and they are a dollar. As I have been a customer during this sale, you have to READ THE SIGNS and understand what they mean. 5 means 5.

Old Navy return policy

My daughter received some Old Navy cloths for Christmas. They were to small so I went to the store to exchange them, of course they didn't have the same thing in her size. I was then informed by the cashier that I would not be able to exchange it for something different until I received my store credit by Mail in 10 days. There is no way I will buy anything from their store again this is a unnecessary inconvenience.

Old Navy misleading promotions, bait and switch tactics

Back in May of this year, I went to a store in Fort Worth, TX and was told by the cashier that my order of less than $20 would be half off if I signed up for an Old Navy visa card. I thought that sounded like a good deal so I said go ahead. Hadn't heard or thought about it since. Fast-forward to tonight, I get a call from a collection agency telling me I owe over $110 as a result of this card. Apparently, unbeknownst to me, the half of my order that was being "saved" on the purchase, around $9, was put on the card and had been accruing interest ever since, to the tune of over $110. I had never actually seen any bills or past due notifications because I was never aware anything was on there. Concerned about the repercussions on my credit rating, I had little choice but to pay $80 in order to put my account back in "good standing." So an innocent trip to Old Navy for some sunglasses turns into me wasting an hour of my time and having to fork over $80 to a collection agency and I don't even know if that's the end of it. Do I have any recourse? Is Old Navy willing to recognize that these practices may not be the most upfront and honest? I seriously had no idea that any charges were being put on the card and never actually laid hands on the physical card nor was I aware any such charge even existed.

Old Navy and all its partner stores will be losing business as a result of these types of bait-and-switch tactics, I'm sure.

Seriously, who opens a credit card to save $11? Did you think that $9 charge was going to disappear? In what world does someone open a credit card and forget about it? Didn't it occur to you that you'd have a bill? Or how about the fact that you haven't received the card. Yes, please blame Old Navy for your lack of common sense and financial responsibility.

Old Navy price

I got a 30% off coupon on an entire purchase at old navy. So i went to old navy and got two pairs of leggings. The price was $16 for 2. But when i went to the cashier it rang up as 9.50 each, which was the regular price for 1. So i asked her why it rang up as the price and the sign said it was 16 for 2. She said let me fix the price. So i was walking out of the store looking at the receipt when i noticed they were 50 cents off and the 3% 9.50 so they were 9.00 plus 30% off. I then went back and asked the cashier and they said they could not accept two promotions but then i told her that 2 mintues ago she said she rang it in. She told me she never said that. So basicly i paid 2 dollars more then i should. I dont really care about the 2 dollars but the problem was she lied to me after i told her what happened. I saw there were alot more people in line so i just gave up. If she said the coupon doesnt work with the coupon i wouldnt of cared but she promised me she rang in the 16 for 2 then the additonal 30%, but then just gave me 30% off and a random 50 cents off

Old Navy bad customer service

I love the deals and the styles of clothing their stores offer. However, the last few purchases I've made I have noticed that the quality of the clothing is very poor. On three separate garments, I have found holes in the clothing after only one wash and wear. Not just small holes either. On one shirt, I found a hole in the seam about three inches long after just one wash.

In the past I have never had any problems with their clothing. In fact, my children have outgrown the clothing before it has worn out. I'm wondering if this poor quality is a new trend in their clothing, or if I just have bad luck.

Regardless, I will definitely rethink making purchases from any Old Navy store in the future. Buyers beware!

Old Navy unprofessional attire

Wife went into Old Navy in Ft Smith Ark with my children. Purchased some clothes?. The associate checking out customers was wearing a shirt that said "SHHH, don't tell anyone that I'm a lesbion"|. Wife did not say anything, just paid and left;. When she got to the car my 7 year old son asked "Mom, whats a lesbion?" When I called customer service about this they told me that what she was wearing was acceptable, and that they are a diverse company and support their associates in their diverse lifestyle.. Customer service apologized that we were offened, but stated they were not apologetic for being a diverse company that supported their associates'. I told her that I could care less who the girl sleeps with, I just don't want to have a conversation about any kind of sex with my 7 year old when purchasing clothing;. She could care less!. I will not be shopping there anymore and I will make sure eveyone hears my story.

Old Navy price

I saw a skirt that I loved on my aunt, it was a jersey knee length skirt, and I asked her where she got it and she said Old Navy. I was so excited because I love old navy. I got online and found my skirts for $15.00, but because my family is on a budget I wanted to save the shipping money. I got to the store and found my skirts (I got 3) but when the cashier was scanning my skirts they were coming up as $19.94. I asked the cashier why there was such a huge difference and I was told to return them if I found them cheaper somewhere else. When i got home I went to http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=55402 and found my skirts but they were marked $7.99. I started filling my cart! but they were coming up $15.00 in my cart, so I called customer service and was told that there was one skirt marked $7.99 and all the rest were $15.00. SO the Website was VERY MISLEADING and then I was told that ONline price are different from instore Prices. I was already to encourage my peers to shop only at Old Navy.com but because the prices online are so misleading I will just encourage those I speak with to Avoid shopping at Old Navy at all.

The store manager in Tallahassee Old Navy was very rude and refused to honor the discount posted. She said it was a mistake that the items were there and they were full price. There were at least 30 of the same exact item in the spot. She just did not want to honor the price. I won't be back.

There is a reason that online is cheaper then in the store, its called shipping. Its not fair to ask them to match the online price in the store because online would probably end up costing more with the shipping. If money is that tight dont get the shirts at all.

Old Navy returns

I bought a pair of flip flops for my daughter last weekend and the first day she wore them the layer of rubber wore off on the top where her feet rubbed on them. I brought them back along with the receipt and was told that Old Navy's policy was to only take back items that are not obviously defective so they can resell them. I exclaimed that if it wasn't defective I would keept them! The manager, Abby, went on to say that if she allowed me to return the flip flops she would lose her job... why is that the customer's problem? I've made the mistake of buying cheap flip flops made in china, and shouldn't be surprised that it's falling apart and that the customer service is the worst I've ever encountered... deplorable. She even laughed as I was walking away. I won't go back to Old Navy.

I bought my son (who is away in college) two pair of blue jeans. He went to the OLD NAVY store to exchange the pants. He was not allowed to EXCHANGE the pants because he did not have a receipt. The tags were still on the jeans. I checked my receipt and the on-line store policy for exchanges. You can not find this information in either location. I called the main number for Old Navy, only to have some twenty year old be very rude to me and tell me "that's your problem, not ours". I can assure you I will never buy ANYTHING from OLD NAVy again and I plan on telling everyone I know how rude their "customer service department" truly is. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was even ruder and also young and smart mouthed. I plan on driving to my son's location, slong with the other merchandise I bought (total to 486.00 dollars) and RETURNING EVERYTHING with my receipt. When my son asked why they would not let him exchange the pants, the young guy told him in the store, "you probably stole them". What an insult! Is this what customer service is these days? I hope not! PLEASE do not shop OLD NAVY! by the way...you can find the return policy on a small piece of paper in the store that you have to look for!

Here's to hoping that manager is in the unemployment line, but knowing Old Navy and how they can't keep the good help because those employees move on to find better employment... she's still there. The horrible ones stay. They buy cheap, sell cheap and hire cheap.

Exactly. You almost buy them to wear them a few times, that why they are so cheap, so why would you throw a fit when they wear off a little bit?

you did not wear these once. Look at the picture! The bottom part is wore off like you had worn them for weeks, and you wonder why you got laughed at? You spend $3 for flip flops and what do you expect? flip flops for life? I would have laughed at you too. Buy USA next time.

Within 3 months, my son's "uniform" pants started coming apart. They would only give a store credit. Their return policy only states that Defective Merchandise can be returned at any time. It never states that you will have to get a store credit. I have to REPLACE his pants. There is no way I am going to buy more from Old Navy when they clearly don't hold up to washing and ironing! I'm done with this store.

I agree that whoever told your son that was completey out line and very unprofessional, a simple its policy would of been better, but either way its policy no returns without a recipt or gift recipt only store credit through the mail it should have said it on the recipt you lost. Still if it was an even exchange with the tags still on the jeans the gm there should have aproved it

Old Navy store policies suck!

I was informed that Old Navy's employee policies are that the employees are not allowed to stop shoplifters, nor call the police when they see shoplifting taking place, even if someone leaves the store with a bagful of merchandise. This is ridiculous, but if Old Navy likes being robbed blind, that's their problem. They also put their employees in danger by not being allowed to contact the police about suspicious people in the store. So I guess they won't mind a whopping lawsuit when one of the girls gets attacked by one of these perverts! The store in Sherman, Texas has not one, but two men hanging around the store for hours on end, filling up bags, going into the dressing rooms, then just leaving. The girls who work there are afraid, but management does nothing about it.

The only person permitted to apprehend a shoplifter is a Loss Prevention Manager, because they have "special" training to handle the situation without a lawsuit. You will rarely see a Loss Prevention Manager, one error in judgement and your FIRED. Most just quit anyways, because even with the training and authority, the rules and policies they abide by are self defeating. Old Navy thinks cameras in the store is so expensive, so they rely on their employees to provide "EXTRA" customer service to potential shop lifters to deter them. And most Old Navys work with skeleton crews, no floor coverage most of the time. Here is a dirty secret, most of the time there is only one register person, 1 fitting room person, and a supervisor. They cut hours so low, down to a skeleton crew; you could just walk in there take something and no one would be around to notice. The store I used to work for has the highest shrink rate in their region, they have never charged anyone for shoplifting for the whole 3 years I worked there.

Old Navy poor customer service

The worst customer service provided by sales associate named Long. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and mean. When being served by really nice sales associate on the check out, she intruded and got involved in the dispute, although no one even asked her to do so. Then she started giving an attitude and being rude. As I walked out of the store, I overheard her saying "Keep walking away, you have nothing to do here". How RUDE was that. I stopped and confronted her, as I would never tolerate being treated so badly by any employee at any store. I don't know who recruits such people to work at retail stores. They are definitely a big loss to the companies. In general I like that store, but deeply disappointed in customer service provided by that girl. Shame on you Long.

Old Navy store was not open as advertised

Old Navy advertised they would be opening at 12am November 25 at Westfield Shoppingtown Center in Vancouver WA. I arrived at midnight and the doors were locked. There were other people also trying to get into the mall. We all stood outside at the locked doors until the Security Guard came. He said that Old Navy will be opening at 4am. We were all upset, we all drove down there to shop at Midnight and the doors were locked. They had advertised on the Old Navy web-site the Black Friday hours opening at Midnight.

I ended up driving to Jantzen Beach Oregon Store and by the time I arrived the store line to get in was wrapped around the building. I also tried calling the Old Navy store at Westfield and there was no answer, not even an answering machine. I then called the Jantzen Beach store and they answered and were helpful.

I'm disappointed about the false advertisement and also that I did not get the items that I had arrived early for to get. Many customers were also disappointed.

Amy

If you have any issues or concerns regarding advertising posted online or in-store, please don't hesitate to call the store relations department or online and they will certainly be willing to work with you or come up with a compromise if your claim is legitimate.

In regards to the fine print: Every company has fine print so when the company is told that that is false advertising, there is no proof to that claim. I highly recommend that customers do indeed read the fine print even though it is a painstaking process.

I was upset at Old Navy's advertisement about the free Kinect Dance Central game when you spent $25. Never saw the fine print in their ad that only 30 people who got wristbands would receive the free game! Stood in line for over 2 hours in the freezing cold only to find out this nonsense!
