I have lost over $2, 000 to this outfit. Their gimmick is to sell you an Affiliate Marketing website to make money from Amazon and others. The fact is that affiliation is FREE. The main source of income may come from the MLM/Pyramid link that you put on the website, where you get a portion of the next fools money who signs up. I have set up my own personal website as a pure affiliate shopping site, trying to get a percentage, which you can from leading online shops. It is really difficult though. The thousands of hits, which they charge you big money to get, can also be purchased online for $40.00. Don't be fooled, this is a well oiled racket. They are connected to another bunch of scammers who live in the Empire States building. Stay clear is my advice.

Yes I have spoken to them and they will refund me the cost of setting up the original website ($147.00), but not the thousands spent on advertising. The SLM link has had over 6, 000 visitors, but I have no way of knowing whether any of these were successful. Obviously not, as I have not received any income. Not very good odds. I was offered a further years cost on the website if I had not made any money by the end of the year, but this is little consolation. The cost of hosting a website name is next to nothing. We'll see?

I signed up to the elite package but did not go ahead with the $2000 - $3000 advertising facility simply because the representative started to "pressure sell" me when I voiced my concerns - not the kind of people I would want a working relationship with. But more importantly - why the large upfront cost? Surley THEY should make money as YOU make money, therefore giving them the incentive to make your website fly?

This is so sad and has become a huge problem in this tough economy.

First, let me add that the practices of "Online Hosting Network" are NOT Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing is a legitimate marketing method that has made many folks money if they are willing to work hard. Affiliate Marketing opportunities never ask YOU for money. It is up to you to decide on your own how to best promote their products on the Internet. Expenses are quite minimal and are arranged by you, independent of the company for which you are an affiliate.

What the Online Hosting Network is engaged in is simply a scam. Normally, these outfits operate for several months under one name and then change their names once the heat gets turned up on them. They tend to be slippery, so they are a little hard to track down though you can be assured that the AZ Attorney General would love to hear about OHN, as it seems they are about due for a "name change".

It must be meaningful that this is the second time tonight that I have come across complaints about these schemers even though I was searching the Internet for something else entirely in both cases.

Here is another blog where a host of folks describe the unfortunate day they made contact with Online Hosting Network. Hope this blog allows links!

Good luck folks and fight these detestable Online Hosting Network crooks.

BTW, no one "lives" in the Empire State Building - that is no doubt a mail drop. OHN is based at:
