Received unauthorized bill for "USF Recovery fee" which appeared on my AT&T phone bill. When questioned, AT&T advised they have to put these charges on bill and can not ask nature of the bill due to the privacy act. OAN services advised the charge was put on my bill in error and they would credit my account in 1-2 billing cycles. This is unacceptable as I do not get 1-2 billing cycles to Pay my bill. I've disputed the charge with AT&T who have put a "dispute" on my bill however this should not have to be managed in this way.
