Nulexa Fell for a scam

What a scam!
I ordered the free trial from Nulexa, after naively assuming I would have enough time to cancel if I didn't like the product. After being shipped from US to Canada, I had about 3 days with the product before my cancellation was up. My first and last mistake was assuming that I could trust their claims, and that I would have sufficient time to cancel, since shipping the product took 11 of the 14 days. Realizing my error, I called in Customer Service and spoke to Jeffrey. He not only informed me that it was too late to cancel, but also that I had another $110 bottle of Nulexa already on it's way! After trying MANY times to cancel my order, and polite reminders that I would be reporting them to the better business bureau (which I did), he finally 'gave in' and offered me a 50% refund on my first order, provided I didn't cancel for at least another month. Knowing this was yet another sales scam, but also wanted some if not all of my wasted money back, I agreed. I called back exactly one week later, where I was once again given the scammy sales pitch. Now, I couldn't cancel my order as I had not had enough time to use the product. Tongue in cheek, with my normally subdued temper quickly rising, I told them I had used all of their product, all over my body, day and night and it was now GONE. The sales rep didn't seem to enjoy my humour and quickly hung up on me after curtly saying she will cancel my order. Ha ha. Talk about the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I fault myself almost as much as I fault them for falling for this blatant scam. Save yourself the money, the time, and your blood pressure by avoiding this company like the plague!

This is a scam. Tried the $5 offer for nulexa (Skin Essentials). Had rashes immediately the day after with the little amount of cream used. Packed it up in its original box and returned it to its originating address. Now they are charging $115 dollars for the 2 jars I did not authorize. Tried to call their customer serrvice ( a call center somewhere in...

Nulexa Taking money without authorization

After purchasing a tester for a couple of Dollars their was nothing said that they would bill me after 14 days if not cancelled. Now they have proceeded into my Canadian Tire Master Card Account and decided to bill me for $224.00 after we had cancelled with this com pany so i would advice anyone to see if their's any scamms written about any Company's before purchasing anything online. Another thing I to am from anothe Country Italy to be exact but before I go and get a job somewhere where it requires to speak English and also understanding the person that is speaking it to you than it's up to that company to hire people that you can understand in my case i could not understand a word this person was talking about so after i had told them to slow down he proceeded to ramble on faster almost like he was hoping that I did not understand him. So now not to change the subject i've got to pay all this money for a cream that smells identical to (Nivea Cream) that's the truth of that, and if you think that i'm off my rocker than go ahead and smell the two creams together. Anyways i could go on forever pointing out the bad faults the bottom line is that they're scammers

When are officials going to close these fraudulent companies down! I too have been conned by skin essentials . No joy through emails. Money taken twice but no goods. Contacted credit card company when I discovered I'd been charged to stop any further payments. Can't find any copies of the terms of agreement from Skin essentials.

Nulexa Deceptive advertising

I ordered NuLexa, along with NuVie on 5/17/2014 (order #1080.266 for NuLexa) as promoted on the Dr. Oz show. The offer repeatedly stressed the free trial cost of $4.95 shipping. At the ads bottom there also appeared a seal stating 100% satisfaction guaranteed. However, instead of taking the offer at face value (to which 99% of the ad was devoted), the buyer had to access and read the fine print of terms which were not noted in any manner in the ad itself. The fact that the Dr. Oz show fully endorsed these two products was extensively highlighted in the ad. Dr. Oz, of course, having been called before Congress to testify regarding false claims for a different product.
On 6/02/2014 the following charge appeared on my checking account:
06/02/2014 DEBIT CARD PURCHASE NLX*NULEXA [protected] FL $89.97

At the same time a similar charge for NuVie appeared, but after a lengthy and contentious phone conversation with one of their representatives I was credited back the full charge amount. Not so with my contact with NuLexa customer service. I then sent an email on the same day to NuLexa and have never received a reply. The unexpected charge also resulted in two bank overdrafts totally $74 in fees. The customer service rep went so far as to tell me that any appeal through my bank would be countered with "proof" of my authorization of the charge, and that the company had not lost that in that situation (which in itself implies many such attempts had been made and the product had been regularly mischaracterized and the ad misleading to many customers).

Finally, what about the 100% satisfaction guaranteed seal? Another misleading? This company, along with others, have combined to fraudulently present their products while including a separate terms & conditions which, for full disclosure, should have received clear reference in the ad itself and not just in a separate section. This is unethical business practice and in the opinion of myself and others a scam.

I want a full refund, and believe the FTC should force the companies involved to greatly modify their online ads, or have them removed from the Internet as deceptive advertising.

Very easy to understand this. US decreased price on gas and has serious problem in economic. All credit cards servers have location in US. The US decided to steal money from credit and debit accounts. That is why money charged from different accounts, which people never used for purchases.

DOUBLE SCAMS! I want to alert prospective customers. Samples for $4.95 are OK.

One of my key banks helped get rid of a scam: the bank understood it was two separate $89.97 scams.

However, one month later, the same double scam appeared in an another statement from another bank. I had never applied these scams to this particular card. The second bank, will now be taking care of the scam. I cancelled the credit card to make sure that all will be settled. The second bank is doing its best. The Nulexa people were getting access into the card without permission. Major fraud.

I have just been through the exact same process, was given a refund by Nuvie, but told by the Nulexa customer service that I was being charged almost $90 for the last 15 days of their product! This is outrageous! This is false and deceptive advertising and I really need to know how to address this problem I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, but if anyone knows another avenue I can pursue, I would appreciate that information.

Nulexa Scam

Advertised FREE samples only pay shipping. Next month, $90 charge on my account, called to complain and they refused to credit my account and actually wanted to ship me MORE merchandise which I did NOT want! They are a scam and DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM! Nowhere in the ad does it give you a price for the "free" trial and automatic shipments thereafter! This is a scam and the better business bureau should DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

My problem is the phone number is now disconnected so I have no way to contact them and stop this so I am going to my bank and change my credit card number and transfer my funds. I hope this works. I feel so stupid. Also will give the bank the info to see if there is a better way before it is deducted.

FRAUD/Beware of SCAM! I ordered these products due to their strong endorsement. However, I no longer wish to use this product and made 2 calls to the business to cancel my account. I DO NOT want this product, but was told that I must call back Nov. 13, 2015, to cancel the account. I cannot afford a monthly charge of $90, and believe I could save this money for important medical bills and food, which costs me approximately $3.00 per day. Had the company not advised the above stated ultimatum, I might have attempted to use the product. So people, DO NOT FALL for the small print contract unless you wish to continue the company's extortion methods.
P.S. i presently am in possession of 4 unopened containers of this product, and apparently am about to receive 2 more.
I have always been satisfied with the service and quality of items sold on the internet, but this company's business practices are just evil and wrong.

I agree with all commenters who call this a scam and robbery.
I am a professor of Dermatology and ordered the free trial because my patients were asking about it. The advertising was deceptive and I never saw the terms and condition or what the actual price would be. I would not pay for this at any price. I am in Canada, it is a month after my order. They have charged me over $400.00 Canadian dollars and I have only received one shipment.
Trying to cancel was time consuming and frustrating, with the person at the call center clearly reading from a script, not listening to concerns and offering a small gift certificate for the product if I didn't cancel. ( I wouldn't continue to pay for it at any cost).
I have learned a lesson about product shopping online, but still feel deceived, insulted and robbed. Do not order from this company!

Nulexa Company steals money and doesn't provide products

I wanted to warn all people that the company Nulexa is scam. Also I wanted to find other deceived customers, who lost money or the company stole it from them. The company charged me twice and took about $150 in total. I filled several forms on the website, but no one replied. Please, if someone here had the same experience, can you help to return money back?

I am a victim on the other end of the Nulexa scam. I have had the same toll-free number for my small business for over 15 years. The company is using my toll free number on the jars of the trial bottles that people receive. They also had it listed on one of their websites. I have filed complaints with the Florida Better Business Bureau (as that is where they were incorporated.) After much research I found that they were actually a foreign company that incorporated here in the U.S. via GoDaddy so they are not physically located anywhere in the U.S. Through GoDaddy I was able to get them to remove my toll free number from their website, but I still get calls from people who say my number shows as the customer service number on the jars they receive. I have to pay for each of these calls! Over the past 2 years I have gotten dozens of calls. I have had to shut down access to my number from outside of the United States. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS! I GUARANTEE IT IS A SCAM!

My wife order from another company and received the Nulexa product. She thought she would try it, and has since tried to cancel further orders. The phone number for the company is no longer in service. Nulexa does not respond to any e-mails. This company as the worst customer service that I have ever seen. DO not buy from the company. DO not listen to any of their employees if they try to give you a deal. DO not have anything to do with this company.
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

I had a good expirence. I phoned them once I received the product, and cancelled so I had time to try it out. I tried it and it worked really good. I was surprised. It has been a month and I have no wrinkles at all. I had a good expirence. I told them I would like to be billed every 60 days, as I don't use alot and it lasts me a long time. They update that on my account. The contact number I called is [protected].

I ordered what I thought was one sample product and ended up with both products. They are excellent con artists that answer the calls when a person is calling to cancel the products. I have called a couple times to cancel the order and sent the products thinking I would receive a refund. Not. I decided to do more research tonight and discovered this site. I had no alternative but to cancel my credit card after reading some of the stories posted on this site. Therefore thank you for sharing your experiences because they gave me direction on what I needed to do to prevent further robbery from my bank account. I did receive a cancellation notice from their office in May but discovered they had taken money from my account this past Saturday. Lesson learned. A bitter pill to swallow but what other recourse do I have.

On APRIL 30 I requested the FREE TRIAL of skin essentials, I received their sample a couple of days later.
On the 15 of MAY I received an invoice an for skinforte in the amount of $98.50. I immediately called my credit card to cancel it only to find out that ANOTHER AMOUNT for Skin Forte of $101.32 had also been billed without even receiving invoice.

I contacted that company and told them I had NOT ordered these products, I was told I should have read the FINE PRINT so I went and read it.
During those 15 days I was taking care of my husband who eventually died of lung cancer.
Facial products were not my priorities,

I replied that I had cancelled my credit card account and to also cancelled theirs. They replied that they had closed the account.
I wrote back to tell them it was MISLEADING ADVERTISING if its free there should not be strings attached..
They wrote back to say they were willing to cut the price and at the end of the email below their offer was O.K. Dot? I figured that if I clicked ok I would be stuck again so I did not accept, after that I would get any replies to my emails your account has been cancelled.
Conclusion ...It cost me $261.69 Canadian.
This one valuable lesson

I just found out today that I was scammed as well with both Skin Essentials and Nulexa. The add said that the products were free as a trial. I only had to pay shipping of 4.95 US for each jar. I received the products a few weeks later and saw that I was charged just for the shipping as they said, but a few weeks after that, they took another $235.24 (CDN) out of my credit card. I only noticed the charge after another email was sent and that alerted me that they were charging me another $92.53 and shipping more cream which I did not order. (I hadn't yet received my credit statement to see the $235.24.) I did not authorize any such payment. When I called to find out what was going on, they said that the 'free' cream was not free and that it was explained in their terms and conditions. If you don't call within 14 days to tell them if you are satisfied or not, they charge you this insane amount of money for the 'free' trial sample. I did not see any terms and conditions when I ordered or I would never have signed up for this! I feel totally violated like somebody snatched my purse and stole my money. Altogether, after the shipping I was robbed (rounded) $250.00 CDN.

Well I too, fell for this scam job and everything said is accurate. There were no terms and conditions on the screen I read. It was sanctioned by a Doctor Oz. good grief! Cream arrived within 1 day of my 2 week trial period which I was not aware of at time of sign up for FREE cream. I tried calling on the weekend and neither customer service number worked. I called my bank RBC first thing this morning and they are well aware of it but advised that I had agreed to the terms and conditions and this was not considered a fraud. I needed to call Nulexa back and obtain a cancellation number and that I am obligated tomoaynformthe FREE sample. $118.99 for all of this. Plus feeling stupid for being conned. Buyer beware!

I also only wanted the Skin Essentials and the Nulexa was added at checkout. I contacted them right away to cancel and was talked into keeping the Nulexa as it is botox in a jar.
Received my items today and called right away to cancel any further shipments after reviewing these horror stories. I haven't even tried the products yet. Once again the customer service rep talked and talked as did the one before. I was promised discounts on future products. Once she told me that my trial period was extended a further 5 days, I told her that I wanted my trial period cancelled, my account cancelled and no more money put on my credit card. She started to talk again, and I cut her off saying as much as I appreciated how well she does her job, I no longer wished to listen to her spheel. She said she understood, and would cancel my account. I then was put on hold, and she came back with a cancellation # which was my order # with a C in front of it. The phone number I called for those of you who lost it was toll free [protected]. Hopefully, I won't have anymore product charged to my CC...and I won't have to come back and update this post. Good luck!
