I also got infected by this scam. However for all those poor souls who think they lost their money, I would like to add that there is pretty easy way how to get it back. One just needs to collaborate with your bank or credit union and they can issue a charge back since you in fact did not receive the “promised product” but something else. It worked for me and I got back my 49$.
