I was automatically billed for an annual fee for Norton anit-virus services on 3/18/08. I was told by my credit card company that I had agreed to have them renew me every year. I am now using a different service and have been for several months, which my computer technician recommended and installed for me.

I was not notified that I would have my Norton subscription automatically newed on April 7, 2008 for $39.99. Your company sent me several e-mails requesting that my account be renewed in early 2008. Finally, I renewed it on March 24, 2008 for $49.99. When I received my monthly statement for my VISA account I found both renewals. Please adjust my account and provide me a credit of $49.99 to my VISA account, plus advise me by e-mail. In the future I will let the subscription automatically update.

Thanks for your assistance.

I renewed my annual subscription on March 29, 2008 and authorized payment on a credit card I use infrequently for the amout of $49.99. On the most recent statement with my primary credit card I was billed $52.99 for Norton annual renewal. Please resolve this double payment and notify me not only of the resolution but also advise me how to avoid a reoccurance in the future.

Thank you.

I too was surprised to find a renewal charge on my credit card, with a higher amount than my original charge. I have many complaints. I was not notified, there was no contact number to call to discuss the charge plus my computer keeps requesting me to renew to receive the latest virus protection! I am on this web-site trying to find some type of contact number for the company. I think Norton needs to find a better way to renew their product.

just received my bill and do not recall having signed up for auto renewal - they make you use a credit card on line just to hook consumers - we no longer use Norton and never will thanks to their trickery billing process.

My computer became JUNK 8 months ego. The new LINUX unit never had Norton anti-virus as it uses a different service. The NORTON ANNUAL RENEWAL 877-294-5265 CD OF 56, 01 $CD (03/05/08) on my credit card is a mistake or a scam. Please refund!

Ordered this progrm on May 21 but was unable to enter it in my computer because I was told to delete the McjAfee already entered and was not able to accomplish this. I therefore deleted the Norton. Please take the charge off my Visa account.

I cannot locate a contact number for Norton .
On May 21 I ordered an annual renewal but could not enter it on my computer. I was informed that I could not enter it until I deleted the McAfee already installed . I was unable to accomplish this so took all of the Norton out of my computer.
I was charged 39.99 on my Visa account. Please remove this chrge from my Visa.

I renewed my Norton protection by purchasing Norton 360, Version 2.0, order number 2094177103 on June 13, 2008 using my e-mail address as noted above. My previous coverage was using my alternate e-mail address of bjrandrer@cox.net. I continue to get warning notices that my subscription has expired. I should have coverage using either e-mail address as I was able to do prior to my recent upgrade. Please take what ever action needed to make certain that I have coverage on both addresses and have renewed my subscription.

I renewed my Norton and it has been charged to my credit card but the renewal didnot finish down-loading before it completed renewing. Now I can't contact your office to finish the program without a complete charge again. HELP!! I think my old Norton expires on the 12th of July. Please send me an answer so I can re-run this program without annother charge for the same program.

I renewed my subscription on September 17, 2008 for 360 subscription and pc power boost. I charged it to my credit card and paid the bill for $ 89.99. I just received and E mail saying you automaticly renewed it on Oct. 10 for a charge of
$ 74.36. Please remove that charge of $ 74.36 from my Credit Card. I will be calling them to protest. The confirmation # for the $ 89.99 is 2095774o711.

The confirmation # for the automatic renewal is VAB16583164 I tried calling you people twice and could not get through.

I too got the auto renew, charged my credit card. Called customer service, said I signed up for it and for it to stop I would have to go to their site, acces my account and change the setting. Problem is theres no place that I have found to do that. Not only do they just take the liberty of charging you, they just used the credit card I had on file, that had expired. I have called my credit card company to register a dispute and also to prevent them from ever charging to my card again. I 'm changing to Trend Micro for virus protection.

I have been your customer for quite awhile...YEARS! In the last few months, every time I turn my computer on, I have a message from you that my account is or has expired.

Check my records. I HAVE AUTOMATIC RENEWAL!!!
I am losing confidence in your company...THIS IS A NO-BRAINER. I spend alot of wasted time trying to tell you that my account is always up-todate. Of course, there is no personal access to you, at the time you tell me my account has expired.

PLEASE RE-EVALUATE YOUR "SUPPOSEDLY"VALUED CUSTOMERS ACCOUNTS...AND MAKE DEALING WITH YOU A PLEASURE RATHER THAN A HASSLE.

I would appreciate a response...knowing that someone in your company understands my frustration.

Confirmation code?????????I have a password, a security code, and an account number and you have my Visa number. What is up with you people?
