This dealer sold me a lemon car. On 9-3-2014, I went and test drove an 03 Audi A4 Quattro 3.0L. we asked if the car had been in any accidents or if anything was wrong with the car. The sales rep opened the door and scanned a barcode on the car. He proceed to tell and show us no accidents. We were asking for a carfax report and that is when he did the previous.

When I test drove the car, I didn't hear any noises and the car drove fine. The price was $5, 700 for the car. If we wanted it for that price then we would have to put money down on the car. So we put $300. I returned the next day 9-4-2014 with the rest in cash. We paid a total of $6000. as we talked him down a little. We received a 6000 miles or 6 month warranty with the car.

So on the weekend, we took it to our mechanic to get checked out. This is what needed to be replaced.

1. a new steering rack

2. new brakes, pads and rotors as they were all deteriorated.

3. new upper arm controls

and the cost for this to be done was $1500. I just paid $6000 for the car and now I have to put another $1500...I don't think so.

So that Saturday 9-6-2014, we went back to the dealer and told them what was going on...they said that they would fix it and they wanted us to pay half to get it fixed. So we gave them another $550. to do ALL the items on the list.

I dropped the car off on 9-8-2014, and gave them about 3 days and I started to call as I had not heard anything from them. They said that they couldn't find the right piece for the steering rack and they were trying to find it. Needless to say, I called everyday for the next week and finally on Friday they were a rude bunch and said that I could come get my car and have my mechanic do the work. Keep in mind I had already paid them to do the job.

All they did was give me new brakes and rotors and they changed the upper arms bushings only and not the whole upper arms controls which is what we paid for. They did not replace the upper arms or the steering rack.

I went there and they wanted to give me $100. back to have my mechanic do the job. The job alone was going to be $800. or more to fix as the part is $500. and they knew this and that is why they were trying to shimmy the job and get rid of me.

On my way home, the owner called me and said that I had 2 options.

1. give them more money to fix it or 2. he would give me $350.00 back for my mechanic to do.

I, of course, didn't trust them anymore so I took the $350.00 and left.

I have not been back but I have had so many more issues with the car.

The engine mounts were broken and now the car needs the lower arm controls need to be changed as well as a catalytic converter and this car has 2.

There is going to be more and more with this car that I am not going to deal with it. By the time I am done fixing the car I could have bought a brand new car.

I fund North Georgia Auto Brokers ad on craigslist. They sold me silver Audi 2002. It used to be a good present for my son. They sent us car and after some time we discovered that we can’t register it. My sun is very upset and me to. We want full refund and compensation.
