Norm King placed an ad on Kijji to rent his timeshares in Puerto Vallarta and other Mexican cities. He claims to have 28 timeshares and wants to rent the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta, and or Puerto Vallarta $399 per week. He wants you to send him your credit card number or send money through Western Union, before he makes your reservation. I asked him for references or some way to check that his offer is valid, and then he dropped me like a hot potato. I didn't get sucked into his scam, and want to warn other vacationers. He said he lives in a condo he bought in Plaza Marina, Puerto Vallarta. He also told me he is from Vancouver. He claims to be a doctor. I phoned him in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico at this number [protected] . His email address is [protected]@gmail.com.
The Kijji ad is "MAYAN PALACE DEAL$399/WeekCancun-PuertoVallarta-Mazatlan-Cabo"Ad on Kijiji.
I have many emails from him.
I booked a vacation with Norm and it was awesome. Everything worked out great. Highly recommended.

i just got scammed by norman king . phone hotel and no record of us to st ay there.can someone call me [protected] harvey and explain what i can do to track him down or how to get my money back. my kids are very upset.

I booked a vacation with Norman and he never provided me reservation #'s, took $599 over western union and when I cancelled due to the extraordinarily long time between communications and confirmations, he took my $ and never got back in touch with me.
He additionally had another person taking money on his behalf through Pay Pal and that person told me on one email to "run!" and I filed a complaint with Pay Pal and got at least ONE of my payments back. But the two of them still owe me over $899 which they have not paid back, 2 months later.

I have, instead, hired an investigator in Mexico and in US/Canada to do some more digging for me. Unless I get my $ back, I will just keep this up.
I filed a complaint with the AG and CP.
My AG said they located his originating bank was tracked down and will likely file a fraud complaint with the financial institutions.
Western Union sent me a letter yesterday that they will investigate him as well.
Norman/Norm/Stan... fix it.

Attention: James Newton. Well, it seems that we have now lost 3 vacation rentals as a result of your false postings on the Complaints Board. You have now cost me several thousands of dollars. I will give you 24 hours to remove your posting entirely from the internet and I demand that you publish a letter of apology to try and straighten this matter out. In the alternative. I have your address and I intend on contacting the Regina RCMP and filing Criminal Charges against you in Canada. I am going to have you arrested in your own home. The threats that you have made are criminal. The false statements you have made are Criminal. You had better find someone on the telephone at the Complaints Board website and "Delete your Postings". Otherwise your criminal problems will be major and I will also file a civil suit against you to collect lost rentals that are due to your false statements. We never even transacted any business together. You are afraid of your own shadow but you seem to be a lion behind your keyboard and the perceived anonymity of the web.
