On the 16th August 2007 i've got a txt message from Nokia UK saying that I won 182,000 pounds from the Nokia Mobile Promo. I've send them an e mail which is (nokia.inquiry@uk2.net and to call at +447045724899). I send them an email, on the morning of 16 August and again the afternoon on the 17th August as I did not hear from them in response of my email. In the evening I received a call from someone, claiming to phone on behalf of Nokia UK regarding my email. He apologized for not responding earlier and said that they will still forward me a document. So for I did not receive any such a document.

After reading some complains in the same regard, I am now in doubt. Is this true that Nokia UK are having us receiving this money or is this a scam?

Me too. This is about the 20th time I have been contacted about winning hundreds of thousands of money from some obscure person/lottery. I replied telling them just to mail a check to a post office box in care of me and that would work fine. I never got a rsponse. Like they say; if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is...

yesterday 22nd may 2009 i received the same text. it stated that i had won 385000 pounds. feeling was good but i had doubts about it. question is, how do these crooks access the mobile number? One funny thing is that i've never used a nokia phone. its always motorolla. so one wonders how a motorolla phone user wins a nokia promotion prize. be careful guys out thier.
