I have recently bought a Nokia C7 (not sure if it's original though. It's Chinese!) and it has the "invalid IMEI" appearing on the screen. Don't know how to get rid of it. I've done the *#06# thingy, and got these numbers IMEI number: [protected], Phone lock [protected] but they don't seem to do nothing to the phone. What should I do?

Nokia bad manufactureing

Sir / madam
I brought a nokia 5800 xpress music from nokia priority dealer, balasore, orissa with imei no. - [protected] on 23. 09. 2009 with a cost of rs. 13500 / - but the phone was not swithed on after 25 day’s of purchase. It is now under warrenty, i have given this phone to nokia care, balasore, orissa with a job sheet no. [protected] / 091024 / 11 on 24. 10. 2009. They have taken 24 days to repair, and delivered me a old nokia 5800 with different imei no. - [protected] on 18. 11. 2009, which was not my original 5800. In this phone lot of damages are there with old software version, no free gps subscription as initially. When i again gave a complain to nokia care they only updated the software, not given the newer phone. After one day, i found that the phone is restating automatically and after 2 - 3 times of restarting it is switched off, the displays goes down and switched off any time. Now after pressing the swith on button it is not switching on some times similar to first problem. Again i have given this phone to nokia care with jobsheet no. [protected] / 091125 / 70 on 25. 11. 2009. Since it is under warrenty, if nokia is unable to repair my original phone, they should given me a complete new set with all features as on my initial new phone but they don’t have a rights to give the older phone which has a lot of problems. I want a complete new handset immediately, otherwise go for a consumer case.

Nokia screen problem

I have bought nokia 5800 in 13/11/2009. Today I realized my screen has a problem. I connected to genpa service (The service takes care of phone problems in turkey) and nokia support unit. Neither of them has given a dare to my problem. They say they will take my phone to the technical service and it will be repaired in 30 days. I don't want to wait 30 days for my brand new phone's repairy. I want to have my phone changed with the new one works properly.

Nokia nokia mail in rebate

HI I have purchased the two head set from Nokia through Buy.com, I suppose to get the mail in rebate amount for those two head set. I have got the prepaid card(15$) for one of the head set. I suppose to get the another one too... But I didnt get yet Now its more than three months. I am calling the customer support everyweek from last 20 -25 days, they are keep on telling that they still processing it, and ask me to call next week like last three week
If I ask the details they disconnecting the call also, I am not sure I will get back my money. I can't believe that Nokia is become a very big cheaters or the customer service is not good.

samething happened to me too...i only received one rebate for $15 dollar and they kept the other $15.00...###in' NOKIA...ripping ppls off and those customer service rep on Rebate Center are ###in ###s too. they come up with ### excuses like whey didnt u call on time if u hadnt receive it and blah blah blah...###in nokia...

I recieved a sms and a phone call, telling me I had to reply and send an email within 24hrs to claim prize of USD $497, 000. I replied by sms asking if this was a scam. They replied back within minutes saying "What is a Scam?", you were randomly picked out of a draw. I then checked via google about this and it brought up untold complaints across the world.. These bums need to get a real job and stop wasting my time and others... Thanks Google for providing such a service that stops alot of heartache and fraud.

Today (14.04.2017) I have received a sms saying that "congratulations. your mobile no has won for you GBP 550, 000 in the ongoing Nokia Mobile promo. For claims call oo447045750131 0r email nokiauknetuk2.net. "

I have called the above number and the guy who answered wanted me to send am email to the above email address. Before doing so I have checked the internet and found that it's a fake one. Why can't Nokia UK can stop those cheating to their phone holders. That will not reflect a good on their brand image.

In Nov'07 I have received an e-mail from Nokia Cash Officer, UK, named Mr. James Kelvin, which states that I am among 10 who were listed as winner of 500,000 GBP, and asked to contact either by e-mail : mrjames_claimsunit@hotmail.com or phone number: +[protected]. Afterwards I received an e-mail from the same person to send my personal details and mode of prize collection (either by cheque or bank transfer). I have responded to that mail with personal details. Soon after that, received another mail saying the prize cheque and certificate were shipped to my address through courier company called "World CourierDelivery" and asked to contact the courier company to followup the delivery of my parcel and pay the courier service charges (charges are not mentioned in mail). Accordingly I have sent another mail to courier company with the e-mail id provided by Mr.James Kelvin, asking for the delivery date of courier. I had lots of hope about this prize, but today I come to know that this is a fraud promotion in the name of Nokia, through this web site, where others have written their experiences.

Is this fraud promotion is done by Nokia (UK) company ?, if so this is very shame full activity. If not, then Nokia company should take legal action to stop this activity.

Mr. James Kelvin (fraud) also claims that this promo is approved by British Gaming Board and also licensed by International Association of Gaming Regulation (IAGR). Is it true ?, Is there any such kind of board and regulating authority exists in UK ?, if yes they are the stupid people in this world.

My wife recently recieved a supposed (Nokia promo) stating she had won & pound;750, 000 gbp the equivilent of $1, 202, 745 aud. This sms included the payment id number; nk729.

The sms was sent from the number +[protected], which is from ghana (In africa) , whist the contact number referred to in the text of the sms is +[protected], which is from great britain. This in itself is a bit sus'.

On responding to the email address supplied (Ie "uk. Nokiainc@live.com") a return email supplied a "verification form" requesting I supply; full name, winning mobile number, alernative mobile number (If any) , network name, residential address, date of birth, occupation, annual income, country, nationality, gender (Male/female) , amount won (In words) and email address.

Notice how no mention was made of the "payment number" specified in the original sms? This also is a bit sus', to say the least. Then there's all the other info required. This is rapidly becoming very sus'.

The other content of the email is almost identical to that found in known scam documents issued earlier. This information I obtained from nokia conversations the official nokia blog site at; http://conversations. Nokia.com/2017/03/06/nokia-dont-do-lotteries-beware-the-scam/

Notice the last part of the url here? "nokia dont do lotteries - beware the scam". That's the title of the relevant blog item from nokia.

My email content:

On 31/12/09 at 06:15 I reciefed an SMS saying, Congratulations ! your no. was among the luckywinners on th nokiayearly Promotion, you won R95.000. Ticket no. 0166P, Call Paul Benson [protected], I did not call th e nr from my cell phone but the next day from a land line, it said the telephone nr you have called is not available please call later.

I called the number and spoke to a lady and she pretended that she cant hear me. I then re-dialled the number and and it took me straight to voice-mail box. I would really like to know what is going on.

Received sms on 4th of may 2017 sunday afternoon that i won 80, 000.00 in a nokia promo sweepstakes and my ticket number is ... and i should call [protected] or email the ticket number to pnokia5@gmail.com. must say i was thrilled for a moment until i realized i never entered any contest so i called the number and ofcourse logically the telephone number was not in service for the moment anyway people are just too bored with their lives and complete idiots to think that scamming is better than making an honest living. so, just a note to all people beware and don't get over excited about this sms even though some financial ease would be great! to the scammers get a life!

Nokia startup problem

I have brought Nokia N70 2 years back.For one year the phone worked perfectly fine without any problem.But in last one year i have got the screen, keypad & I.C. Changed costing me more than Rs.5000. Recently one month back the phone used to get hang & when i used to remove the battery & try to switch on it the phone didn't start. Then i send the phone to nokia care center & they told me that the problem was with my memory card. So i removed my memory card & it worked fine for just 1 month.2 days back the phone again got hanged & when i removed the battery & tried to switch on it the phone gave the error "Start-up failed contact your retailer". Then i took the phone to nokia care center & i clear told me that they won't be able to repair it.One of the nokia center told that it is a hardware problem while the other told it is a software problem. Now u tell me how to get my phone repaired after spending so much money on it? Is there any reliability of nokia products? As i think they work fine just for 1 year. What should i do with my phone?

I have given my nokia N70 memory card for replacement as it was defective one and was in warranty period. I gave it to Nokia care. Expected time of replacement is 14 days. Now it is almost 30 days are over still they have not provided. Very poor service from Nokia.

CONGRATULATIONS! Your Tel. No was selected and won 250, 000 British pounds in NOKIA JUMBO. To claim email: jumboprize@sapo.pt or call +[protected]

Sapo.pt is Portugal Online - a web search engine which allows people to open free email accounts. I'm guessing the phone number is also fake as it was listed on other websites as being false.

Don't fall for stupid messages like this. I hope they spent a fortune on sending out the sms messages only to get NO reply.

I was contacted by Hamilton reeds saying I won over one million pounds in an online auction. I called the man and he was not legit. Do not have anything to do with Hamilton reeds. He also reffered to the RBS on several occasions. Your complaint confirmed my suspicions of the man, thankyou.

Problem:
Since I have puchased it, I m encountering a strange problem that my phone gives a report of "mobile is switched off " to anyone who calls me. Although my phone is switched on and shows all the horizontal lines of battery, even then it gives the message of "mobile switched off" to the person calling me.

This problem keeps on persisting till I make an outgoing call from my nokia mobile. Once I make an outgoing call. This problems succumbs. But when I do not make an outgoing call even for 1 hour my mobile again goes back to " switched off state " although I can clearly see that my phone is switched on.

Nokia dealer in bhopal admits this problem. They have asked me to send my mobile to mumbai for testing for about 10 days. I m using a reliance cdma network. I am highly frustrated because it is not a gsm phone where we can change the sim and send the phone for testing. I get all my official calls on this nokia 2505, reliance cdma phone.

Kindly reply me urgently, else might have to take the help of consumer forum because I have faced illegitimate remarks from my seniors for switching off the phone when in reality I never came to know when the phone started giving " switched off " message..

I m your loyal customer I have nokia n-72. It never gave me any trouble. But please correct this problem

The mobile(CDMA) which was corrected for the same complain 2 months earlier started showing the same problem in which the ringtone is not heard. Its as if the phone is in silent mode with vibrator mode put off even thought the phone is in outdoor profile.

Nokia unable to switch it on

I purchased nokia 5130 and within 1-week I lost the display of the phone and after that i am unable to switch on the phone. Then i gave it in nokia care, there also they were unable to repair it and they send it to nokia main branch at chennai and they told me that they will return me in 1-month. It is very ridiculous that nokia is making the pubic to suffer like anything.

i think your phone memory is full. try this.
Warning this will erase everything on your phone. Make sure that you back up everything to a mmc card if possible
Switch off your phone
Press and hold these 3 keys together-
-green dial key-
-the star key(*)
-the number 3 key(very hard to do)
Press the on off switch to the phone
DO NOT let go of the keys until you see a formatting screen
After a few minutes the format will be complete, your phone will be back to factory settings

Nokia poor quality software of 2424c

I recently purchased nokia 2424c mobile phone. To my horror I noticed the its screen lit blank any time it liked. Within a week it landed in nokia care. It was desected and I was told to pick it in 5 hrs. When I oicked rhe phone irs screen had dirt and finger prins inside. It was required to contact twice to clear the screen. The problem persists. Its screen lits up blank at its will and drains the battery if not noticed. Press any button to reset it. Does nokia has a solution.

Nokia flickering screen of nokia5800 xpress music

I had bought nokia5800 xpress music 7months back and today is the third time I have given my cell to the service centre!There has been a lot of flickering problem since the time I got the cell. This kind of malfunction in the nokia product is completely unaccepted especially when we, the customers, have a trust in the companys brand name and shell out a handsome amount of money for buying its products. Hope quick action is taken about it soon. If not, then we will have to think twice before buying nokia the next time!
