I have Purchased My Nokia 3110c on 29/06/2007. From very next Month it giving problem. Getting restart again & again when insert a memory card. I have scanned the memory card & there is no virus in the memory card. Two times it will restart & third time phone will switched off. Again i have to restart the phone. It will work properly then. If i switch off the phone update the music library, again it will start giving problem. This is some thing to do with the phone it self. And Also its Ringer Problem Occurred After2 Weeks.

Very poor quality phone!

for me the sent messages are not being saved ...also at one the mobile itself get restarted and i found that it has deleted my sent messages and also the applications... ia also couldnt find the antivirus software

Hellooo...

I also bought one 3110c about one year back and also purchased 1GB memory card seperately. Its working nicely.. No problem still... its camera is 1.5 MP. right? It wil not give that much clarity which higher versions giving...
Its still working properly
No issues
Its mp3 is also working nicely

I also have the nokia 3110c which is famous for its restart problem.
I have got the problem and send it to the very unreliable nokia
customer care center. they said that it is for virus. But i think
this is not true, because if it is for a virus, why the other products
do not show the problem. A virus not only work for a special model
like 3110c. i think it is the product problem as well as its firmware.
Nokia also change its firmware for a number of times. it they have
no problem, why they change their firmware. it is obviously for their problem. So I think Nokia band their suck silly product from the market.

I just hate this phone so much, i have been cheated, cos i have inserted a memory card like a year ago, absaloutly nothing wrong with it, until it locked itself out, and it keeps asking me for the password (that i didn't even put), all of my data are gone now, what shall i do????????????????????

OK. Like I sad - I'll be back. I FIND a SOLUTION. When you turn on your phone - the update process is always starting . . . yeah and there is some file with this inside

Well forget abot it - it's not important.
1. Turn on the phone without memory card.
2. RESTORY to the factory mode (code:12345)

AND you need to have THEMES inside your MEMORY CARD (not inside PHONE memory). When the phone is started, quickly go to the memory card (well the OPEN process is working then - and the update process is paused - buuuuttt you need to be very fast so THE UPDATE process will go in slow mod and you'll have more time before to restart). I try with everythink to run (mp3, video, camera) but not working. When you load a THEME the update process it's stop ( I thinks so) and you need to load more than 5-6 themes one by one faster you can. And the phone will not restart. BUT :
1. Don't load other themes
2.Don't update library
3. MOST IMPORTANT - you phone mustn't shut down or you will need to do all this steps again.

So I'll try with other way . . . I'll be back

Hi all. Belive it or not - I'm have the same problem. First I was thinking that the Memory Card is bad and I try it on my mum's Nokia (I don't know the model) and it's work. So sometimes when the phone restart I start quickly to go in some documets on the memory card or in the calendar and some thimes this works . . . The phone will not restart, but If I change theme, or update music library it's restart himself. I'll try somethink . . .
