I ordered the complete Dean Martin Roasts on DVD on May 20th and have had the run around on when they will be shipped. It is now June 9th and I have nothing.
The company allmyfavoriteshows is a scam! I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau (if the BBB gets enough of these allmyfavoriteshows will lose their license.) I ordered the complete Perry Mason DVD package (over $200) of 48 DVDs and received, 6 weeks later, a torn package with 2 DVDs in it. And the company is unreachable! I tried e-mail (it is returned) and they NEVER pick up the phone -- it just eventually disconnects. I happened to get to their web site and clicked down at the very bottom of the page, a little "link to us" and got a supposed blogger who (I have a record) said they would ship the full order and an envelope for returning the damaged items.. However, they never send me an e-mail confirmation of this conversation (as promised) and I'm not going to wait another 6 weeks to find out that they also welched again on the order. These folks should be put out of business as soon as possible!!!
I ordered a set of dvd from happy days on july 21 it has not arrived. I payed $182.98, i want to know what's going on. We are already in august I want to know the problem. This is ridiculous!!!
I placed an order to these people for 2 Dvd box sets the TransFormers and Street Hawk they bill your credit card then tell you expect shipment in 12 to 14 days. I received transformers about a month and a half later it said on the envelope do not return to sender. They then state that these Dvds are sealed well there not no plastic wrap on them or anything just a sticker that keeps them shut. When I received my transformers i was missing 2 discs and 2 would freeze up while watching them. I kept getting the runaround about Street Hawk saying it was on Backorder i also said to them about my Transformers dvds they said they would send me a new set which they never did. Finally after all the B. S i told them i wanted a refund and that if i didnt get one i would report them to authorities. Believe it or not they refunded my Credit Card. I also called my credit card company and told them of the situation now i have a refund and the crappy dvds yet which i turned to local authorities as evidence this place what a joke!!!
I too have had major problems with www.allmyfavoriteshows.com and I live in Australia! On 23 September 2007, I placed an online order for 4 complete 1960s/1970s TV series (Batman, the Addams Family, Get Smart and The High Chaparral). Amazingly, the Addams Family arrived about a week later but there the problems started. The 2 DVD cases were damaged and 8 out of the 64 episodes on the DVDs got stuck after the title played! I complained to them on Live Chat and they said they'd replace them and they did with another set that had exactly the same problems (but no damaged cases) - no prepaid envelope was sent to me to return the first set as they promised.
Then around mid October I received (all in one day), Batman, The High Chaparral and the replacement set for the Addams Family. My problems only got worse! Disc 24 was missing from the High Chaparral and the quality of the video and sound ranged from ok to bad depending on which episode I watched! With Batman, where do I begin - 5 of the 7 DVDs had from 2 to 6 episodes missing, even though their titles and an image for each episode appeared in the menu! One episode had sound completely out of sync with the video AND disc 4 had exactly the same episodes on it as disc # 1! The quality of the video was less than VHS quality with the Batman DVDs - simply appalling!
To date, over a month later I still have NOT received the Get Smart DVD set and have complained several times to them only to be told differing things like it was sent on 5 October and then a few days later I was told it had not been sent to me yet! A day or 2 later I was told it had been sent and now here's the "killer" - she gave me a Tracking # and the www.canadapost.ca web address so I immediately checked that Tracking # only to be told "That Tracking # does not exist" so while I still had her in Live Chat I told her that information and said I now have had enough of them and she still tried to get me to accept replacements and she'd follow up with Canada Post etc etc and then she also said "or you can have a refund" and I said I want a full refund and she said it will be credited back as a cash back to my credit card within 10 business days. It is only one week (tomorrow) since she said that to me and so the 10 business days is not quite half up yet - so I await to see if I do get a refund. But it is pleasing to see that someone else here has already gotten a refund out of them. I too have threatened them with action via my bank's credit card security department (I have already done this and they have started proceedings to pursue this company for my refund) and I also threatened them with an official complaint to the relevant Canadian authorities AND it was after I told her this that she dared to mention the word refund! I told her I will do whatever it takes to get my money back!
Don't be afraid to do the same if you have unfortunately fallen victim to this very dubious company who should be closed down and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law - I do not know why Hollywood hasn't yet gotten onto them with all their hysteria about movie piracy etc etc as the products I received were definitely NOT professionally produced (nothing like what you'd buy in a normal retail DVD store) - they appear to be pirated and of very poor quality and NOT what I ordered.
After doing a Google search on their name I found numerous complaints about them and that they also operate under at least 2 other different web addresses.
