I used to buy Nine West (back when they were made in Brazil)... and they were worth the price - lasted for a long time and were comfortable. I stopped buying them for a while because they are a little more pricey but this June 2010 I bought two pairs - ballerina flats made of jeans and another pair of flats made of fake crocodile texture.
I wore the ballerina flats everyday... love them but they died after 2 months. I threw them away... Fine.
The other pairs I wore very little... and one day, as I was driving I feel a little clunk. Guess what?!? the small heel from the shoe fell off! HOW CAN THAT BE?!?
I guess because they are made in China and companies keep getting cheaper & cheaper.
I will not buy Nine West shoes anymore... too expensive and made of VERY poor quality.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I used to wear ONLY NIne West. Bought a pair of heels and they are wearing really fast. No more for me.
I use to purchase Nine West shoes and really liked the styles. However, if you have purchased them in the last few years, the quality is horrible. Like one customer mentioned, the insides of the shoes come off like corn flakes all over your feet and floor. When you purchase them new, you do not notice it. If you wear them for a while, I guess the stretching of the cheap material and the moisture from your feet caused the shoes to come apart. The quality is so poor and really ruins the brand name. I will think twice about purchasing them in the future.
I completely agree. I used to like Nine West shoes for their style, quality and comfort. NOT any longer. Although the styles are still okay, the quality is terrible! Two months is the most the boots and shoes that I purchased during the past year last. Shame on you, Nine West!
I purchased a pair of Nine West Austin pumps. After 2 wears the inner lining tore and curled so it was visible. I returned to the store and was advised my foot shape caused this. I argued leather should be flexible and accommodate movement. It was due to design fault and extremely poor quality leather and plastic lining. WILL NEVER RETURN TO NINE WEST. Over priced cheap nasty shoes. Ripping off customers.
terrible quality, the inside part of the shoe is not leather and they used cheap PU, when you store for 2 months in the canibet the inside part PU came out by pcs! just like corn flack on my foot, so annoying after paying so much for those shoe, i will never buy it again, i use to be a big fan of nine west but not anymore!, i bought a pair of shoe from ZARA for so many year and still in very good condition, because they are using good quality leather inside out and they are made from Spain!
Totally agree. Overpriced rubbish.
I bought a pair of boots there for ZAR1000 (+- USD 140), they havent even lasted 5 months. I am disgusted and very annoyed.
Will not buy anything from there again
