Amounts have been deducted in the amounts of $7.95 and $9.95 - I wish this to stop as well. I called the 1-800 number and I cannot get through. There is no dial tone. I didn't authorize for this and I never recieved anything from your company. PLEASE CANCEL IMMEDIATELY!
The same thing has just happened to me and I just got off the phone cancelling my membership. We'll see how that goes. I am also calling the bank and having their withdrawals on my account blocked. They got me for $1.99 at the beginning and just today for $39.95. I don't even know if the CD I received works. I haven't had time to try it. But no one takes money out of my account with out my approval. And I didn't approve that last w/drawal. So, thanks to these reviews, I was able to nip this before they cleaned me out. My wife said she did not order anything. And if she did she said we never got it. I would like the $39.95 taking off my account. The lady over the phone said that we are not going to get our $39.95 back. Is there any way at all to get this back.
NO CHARGE WAS EVER AUTHOIZATED TO CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD NOR DID WE PURCHASE ANY ITEMS. ALL CHARGES MUST BE REMOVED AND MY CREDIT CARD NEED'S TO BE REMOVED FROM YOUR BILLING SYSTEM. I CAN'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU WILL HAVE OUR CREDIT CARD! THERE HAS BEEN SEVERAL CHARGES OF $39.95 AND $7.95 CHARGES.
Think I've been "taken" too: got several e-mails and looked into one; was interested in "free" info so signed-up(~5/25). Have not received anything but charges have occurred since mid-June, first $39.95 and then $7.95 late June and today:what I requested was only supposed to be $2.95 then CHOOSE whether to sign-up for service AFTER reviewing info(eg CD). At this point, don't think I'm going to be getting anything! I'm a disabled person(for 15yrs) who has been abandoned by husband & relatives due to husband "campaining" against me by saying I'm faking my illness in order to get attention and make him stay w/me(he's an alcoholic w/Jekyl&Hyde personality) We just got divorced after 4 awful years of him all he(&lawyer)could do to ruin my life which has left me "wiped out"...financially and physically! Just got diagnosed w/Cardiac Failure due to stress on my condition(past 5 years) which has caused more strain in my life, especially financially. Thought this program would be a way to JUST START searching for some assistance, NOT actually begin applying! I read the "fine print" which
states that charges won't begin until after receive info and
have had alloted time to review it--BEFORE begining process of applications. I'll have to call my bank to cancel
current debit card then wait 5-7 business days to receive another one(1-2 weeks) during which time I have no other
way to access my account nor place orders via internet or
phone as I do on a weekly basis(particularly for food) due
to my disability(ie semi-housebound). Wish I had ignored
the "grandfatherly" advice in the message! Is anyone doing legal action/complaint? Please contact me if so.
My story is typical. Two charges totaling $2.29 on 3 Jun. Another charge of $39.95 on 11 Jun which I didn't notice until later. Another charge of $7.95 from BUSINESS FUNDING SUCLAS VEGAS, which I'm guessing is the same company, on 18 Jun. Another charge on $39.95 on 13 Jul. As far as I know, I've never had contact with these guys but how did they get my credit card number?
This company is obviuosly given unclear information to the public and it is very deceitful. I had requested to cancel my subscription over 2 weeks ago, and now I see that I'm being charged 39.95 wiohtout my authorization. This is clearly wrong and as you can see from everybody else, the charges are hidden and unclear. If they don't resolve the issue and I'm going to the BBB.
ALWAYS read the terms of service and privacy policy before ordering ANYTHING online! When you submit your order you have to check a box stating that you have read them. If any of you had actually read them you'd see that it clearly states you will be charged if you do not cancel within your trial period. Live and learn.
