No one likes to admit it, but I got scammed too. I am
taking the time to write this to PREVENT OTHERS FROM
GETTING SCAMMED. Naxpmedia is a rip-off, a scam, a
dishonest and unethical company!! Do not do business
with them. My situation is a little more unique than
some of the others in that I actually finally got
some DVDs (very defective ones...keep reading). I
went through the same process of ordering my DVDs in
November, only to find out on the website that ALL
orders placed before Thanksgiving were LOST by the
USPS and would be resent through UPS. After checking
back on the website a week later, I did indeed see a
UPS tracking number. Several days after that, it
showed up in the UPS system. So, a MONTH after I
ordered a boxset (Fraggle Rock, for about $30), I
actually DID RECEIVE IT. That's where the real
nightmare began. These are "garage" made sets, that
are not "sealed" as they claim in any way. The boxes
were crushed and the quality of the DVDs was
something I have NEVER experienced in my life. The
sound was distorted terribly on many DVDs and most
importantly, the picture quality was worse than
anything I could ever have imagined - so grainy and
pixilated that irt is barely viewable. Even more
noteworthy is that those were the good DVDs! The ones
with an even poorer picture quality were horrendous.
I honestly do not know how anything could be recorded
this poorly. Some people recieved nothing, but don't
be too disappointed, becaue if you had received
something, it would probably have been the same JUNK
that I got, which is only useful for my trashcan when
or if this is ever resolved (and it will probably be
easier for you to file a dispute with your credit
card company) I have received no response to my
emails sent to cs@naxpmedia.com regarding the matter.
The number on their website Tel: 1-888-603-NAXP just
answers that the mailbox is FULL, so you cannot get
anyone on the phone and the Fax: 1-888-810-9241 also
answers in the same fashion, that the mailbox is
full. Also, there is never any Live Help Available on
their website, it's always offline. I got SCAMMED.
Buyers beware - save your money - STAY AWAY from
Naxpmedia or face getting ripped off. No I have to
call my credit card company to dispute the charge and
deal with that. I will spend the time to go
everywhere I can online to warn others of this SCAM.

Yeah, don't ever order anything from companies like these. They say that there is some sort of "law" that allows them to make DVD sets that aren't even out yet... take for example the series China Beach (I've wanted it forever) , this series hasn't even been released by the Production Company yet (found this out from Amazon.com when I was browsing) and then all of a sudden you find these same series available online at these special low priced sites for the "serious collectors" and all at the "very low price of $32." Puh-lease!!! I payed nearly $200 for the entire series of the REAL Quantum Leap Dvd's so there is no way anybody is gonna offer ANY series for this price, well, unless they are insane or the DVD's are highly used.
The website says that they back this whole thing (about selling titles that haven't even come out yet) by saying that they are allowed to do this because of some "Berne Law" that says that they are allowed to but in reality they are actually copying the DVD's & in reality it is really infringment upon the trademarks & names & titles of the production companies, etc.
People should just do themselves a favor and just either spend a little more money on REAL sets that are from REAL stores or sites & if certain movies or DVD sets haven't come out yet then take the advice that I have...they aren't out yet & anything else out there IS a fraud & you are either gonna end up with a piece of crap or get stiffed & totally lose your money. I totally agree with everybody's opinion on here about this stuff.

Yeah, sorry to say I got scammed too, should have known better, when an offer sounds to good to be true, it usually is.
I order the complete set of "Third Watch" well they just came out with the first season. So how was NaxpMedia going to send the whole six seasons for $49.99. I ordered December 8 and received an e-mail stating order was shipped on 12/20. I've sent them so many e-mails I've lost count. When I tried calling their phone # was told message box full. I called the phone number again today and actually got a recording to say hit 2 for customer service, thought I was going to get some resolution, only to have the next recording say - "they were experiencing difficulties and to call back later" I even bought the insurance through buy-safe and can't get an answer from them. So I guess I was double scammed. I will stick with sellers I know from now on.

I ordered the Third Watch Collectors edition from this web site, the first season was really good quality, the others are all copied off A&E, some with commericals, the quality is poor, the voices are a few seconds off, a door slams a few seconds later you hear it. I have emailed and emailed and finally threatened to sue and got a response to "mail them back and they would refund my money" like I am going to just send it back without anything saying I am getting my money back. What a waste.

Funny thing is under the description of this set says High Quality products. Bet the person who had to record them every day for months thinks so too... What a SCAM.
