On 9/11/2007, I requested (NHP) to send out a contractor regarding a heat pump. NHP responded by sending out a contractor. As a result the contractor repaired the problem as per request. On 12/13/2007, I again request NHP to send out a contractor to repair the same heat pump. This time NHP sent out a different contractor. This repair person recommended the heat pump replace due to normal wear and tear.

As a result of this contractor's recommendation, I contacted NHP as to the status of the heat pump at which time NHP advised me that they declined the request of their contractor because I needed to have had annual inspections of the heat pump.

I in turned advised the company that both repair and maintenance has been applied to the heat pump in which the last two were days were 7/15/2006 and 3/15/2007 by another contractor. NHP still declined the suggestion by their contractor to replace the heat pump. At this time I requested that NHP cancel my three year contract due to their decision not to honor their contract. NHP refused to cancel my contract.

Our built in microwave went out on Thanksgiving Day 2007. A contractor came out and pronounced it dead and said he would request a new one from NHP. NHP approved the replacement but said the unit was on back order. It has now been 8 weeks and the unit is still "on back order." They did over the pay out of $167. But, a new unit costs over $300, plus removal of the old unit and installation! They told me to either take the money or "just wait." If I cancel my policy I will forfeit all pending/outstanding claims. When we asked for the rude associate's manager, we were giving the name of Michael Moore and put into his voice mail. We've left several messages for Mr. Moore, whom I think is fictitious, but received no return calls. Does anyone have and numbers or contacts for the "higher ups" at NHP???
