I placed an order in September '08 and received an order costing twice as much with items I didn't order and the items I did order were not sent. I tried calling customer service but got a recording to leave a VME or send an email. I sent an email 3 weeks ago and last week they emailed me to return the wrong order at my expense. No metion of returning the money I was charged or the correct order I made. I sent a reply asking why I had to pay shipping for their mistake, asked for the return of the money they charged my credit card and what happened to the correct order I made. That was a week ago and I've heard nothing back.
I would like to talk to the owner, the one to take responsibility, and resolve my issue, but there's no way to contact him.

I have never ever dealt with such an arrogant salesman in my life as I did with Mr. Anthony Grillo. I was so frustrated after I placed a large order on a Friday with him and then on Monday he called me back with what he said was a deal that I couldn't afford to pass up. Our call was interrupted by an incoming call on my end and then when I got back to him I said I couldn't continue with this conversation as a very dear friend had just passed away and I was needed. I told him I would have to get off the phone and he said "NO ONE HANGS UP ON ME" I SAID WELL, I GUESS I WILL BE THE FIRST ONE BUT I CAN'T CONTINUE THIS CONSERVATION ANY LONGER. I was so angry with his attitude that i sent back my whole order that I had placed with the company on Friday. Needless to say, I got a hassle trying to send it back and was told I had to deal with Mr. Grillo again. I told the gal point blank that I wasn't about to speak to him ever again and I wanted his manager or supervisor . So when I got a call the next day from National Collector's Mint, I thought it was his manager but it was HIM. I told him I did not want to speak to him and wanted his supervisor now, After getting a very hard time with him and then him telling me he would call me back that night after I calmed down. I said I would not take another call from him and the order would go back without the code they needed and finally got his manager on the phone and get the number after a while. I will admit when I sent the whole order back with a nasty letter attached, my credit card did get credited the next day after they received it. I made sure it was insured, and the Postal tracking service. Well, worth the money I spent for that service. Never again would I buy anything from that place again.

The sales people at the National Collector's Mint are so rude and pushy that my husband and I will never order from them again! After you give them your order they will not stop there. Those people will keep you on the phone all day long trying to sell you more coins. I know that most companies will do that, but these people are extremely rude about it. My husband actually lost his temper with this one salesman who would just not take no for an answer. This guy had my husband so frustrated and stressed out that I grabbed the phone from him and told the jerk at the Mint to cancel our order and then I hung up. All that I am saying is to be prepared to stand your ground whenever you call them with an order because those sales people are real creeps!

National Collectors Mint has screwed over me in sending me Counterfeit Twin Towers Coins. They won't answer email or phone calls and you have to have an RMA to return. It will also cost me over $20 if they do issue an RMA but I think since they sold me counterfeit coins my shipping/insurance/certified mail return to these crooks should also be refunded.

This company is a sham. I placed and order with them for 19.95 and they took over $300 dollars from me. One for 58 then $180 and 2 more for over 29.95. They are refusing to refun my money even after I returned the orginal product listed for 19.95.

Finally. After a phone call, and a letter containing a copy of my canceled check I finally recieved my refund. I try to pay by check all the time, so that a mix up can be traced. It takes a little time, but I guess it is worh it. I will continue with NCM when ever I can afford what I want,

I too ordered the ground zero coins and sent a money order and received nothing. I tracked the money order to be cashed in by the company, but upon calling the company they say they never received the money order. I researched this company with the Federal Trade Commission and this company is located in the Virgin Islands and is not held liable by the laws here. The New York Attorney General has been trying to put a stop to this for years now. They use the add that the owner was a member of the US Mint but it is a scam.

When ordering these coins by phone they are scamming you by asking you to buy other coins. Odering process is very confusing. Debited my account $595.00 I did not authorize. Thank goodness for the protection the banks offer. Have been warned by the bank that they will continue to bill your card for merchandise you did not order. Needless to say waiting on a new debit card. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I am currently dealing with Eagle National Mint. I have been lied to many times by the reps. at ENM. Stay away from this company at all cost. I cannot begin to tell you the problems I am currently having with this company. The names of the reps that I spoke to are Steve, David, Paul and Morgan. Morgan is the worst. They are all incompetant though. I have literally pulled my hair out.

I would like to go on record as having been thoroughly satisfied in my dealings with Eagle National Mint. I no longer have a grievance (listed above) towards the company as it has fulfilled its obligations in regards to my order and met all its requirements towards completing the order. My frustrations were a result of miscommunications by company representatives with regards company policies dealing with payment methods.

I would not hesitate dealing in the future with Eagle National Mint and harbor no further complaints against the company.

Just posted about being "ripped off" by the same corporation as the original post. I must clarify my grievance is with another group and NOT National Collectors Mint. The group I am having order delivery/status complaints with EAGLE NATIONAL MINT.

Guess what everyone?! I'm currently getting "stung" by this "corporation". My senses tell me their a completely bogus boiler room operation. I've spoken to the same person on both occasions I've called inquiring about my order. First call, I was "mysteriously" cut off while comfirming information, and on call earlier today, the connection is cutting out intermittantly making it impossible to understand the speaker's words. And, in the backround, I hear another male voice talking in what sounds like a hollow space. Like a room with a desk, phone & chair. All the while, the same operator I spoke to (probably the ONLY operater who identified himself by first name only!) completely strung me along as to the status of my order going to far as to contradict himself! Boiler Room Operation. DAMN! I've been stung! I'm going to go after these as@#@# with more sh#$% than they ever bargained for they'll wish they hadn't set up shop!

Watch out everyone! This really sounds like a sham operation!

"Bill at will." Precisely! Order anything from them once and they will continually send more coins and bill them to the same credit card. I now have the credit card company going after them and I've let them know that I'm not returning any more coins at my own expense, that they are to send me a postage-paid envelope. I also told them that the next time I'm going straight to the Indiana Attorney-General's office. Order from them at your own risk. I know I will never deal with them again.

Recently placed an order for morgans 2 weeks ago, giving acredit card no. Received an e-mail confirming order and thena letter 10 days later mostly ad for a different sensational item. The giveaway that something may be amiss was a p.s. at the bottom of the page "I've taken the liberty of anticipating your reservation for ten of these recovery silver eagle dollars in the next 3 days." They completely changed the terms.

Have a sneaking feeling the Morgans I ordered are not really in stock and giving out my card no. gives them opportunity to bill at will. Buyer beware! Take appropriate measures to read between the lines and do not fall for predators! I could be wrong but my research teaches me my instincts may be right. Do these types really reform or do they merely take on a new visage?

Thank you for posting this. I was considering purchasing a couple of their "Morgan silver dollars" as gifts, but after seeing several of their commercials I felt quite wary of doing business with them, so I decided to check them out.

I am sorry this happened to you. By posting about your experience you have helped others (my family, at the very least) to avoid getting taken. They will NEVER get a dime from me.

Thanks very much, and good luck getting your situation resolved,

T.A.
