MyPrepaidCenter.com prepaid visa card

I received this card but it was lost and just found it after the expiration date. Front of the card states: "FUNDS DO NOT EXPIRE". Back of the card in very fine print states that a maintenance fee of $3.95 per month after the expiration date will be applied. That used up the funds pretty fast.
The company providing the gift card should have just given me a credit on my account.

MyPrepaidCenter.com award prepaid card/unethical

I was awarded 250.00 debit visa card ending in 9393 for 40 years of service at my job. I didn't realize that their was an expiration date. In Ct The law states there are no expiration dates on any gift cards.. So didn't even look at front of card. I was going to use it today and see that it has expired as of 7/2017. Can something be done to reinstate card. If not I will go to my state representative to discuss matter. This is very sad as my employer Key Bank gifted this to me. I will also contact them and tell them to not use your company in the future. They are the 13th largest bank in the US.

MyPrepaidCenter.com - prepaid card activation

I'm unable to activate my prepaid card on 8/11/17. I'm unable to activate my prepaid card. This $20 prepaid card was given as a rebate for purchasing eyeglasses from a local optician. The message received when I attempted to activate indicates that you are aware of the problem. When do you expect to correct the problem?? Why is activating card impossible?

MyPrepaidCenter.com exclusively yours discover card

On June the 28 2017 I contacted the phone line for the EY card to order a replacement card. Because of a move I was not able to locate the current card. The agent confirmed the balance of the card at 60 plus points. The points had been transferred from Interactive Health for my Doctors and Dental visit. On July 3 2017 when I received my card the balance on the card I received was 6.42 points. My points have vanished. I contacted the phone number online and the agents were not receptive. The kept reading the last date of a charge which was in December 2016. That is not in dispute since the 60 points were added in 2017.

MyPrepaidCenter.com visa award card

I bought a set of Mastercraft tires around March 2017, which were to include a $60 Visa prepaid card as a rebate through myprepaidcenter.com.
I can't even get the website to come up to activate the card.
After doing an online search, I see many, MANY people complaining about this.
I tried contacting what seems to be the parent company, which is Hawk Incentives, on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pg/HawkIncentives/posts/?ref=page_internal) but haven't yet got any reply.
I an hoping that eventually I'll be able to activate the card, but it seems I better not hold my breath and expect any favorable results.

I had the same problem as well with the website. However, in tiny print on the back of the card is a phone number... [protected]. I was able to easily register my card and activate it there. Good luck!

MyPrepaidCenter.com prepaid visa debit card

Card was a prize my daughter won at a school event. Tried to use it at Wal-mart but didn't work (this was before the expiration date). Card clearly says the funds don't expire so didn't think too much about trying to use after expiration date. Unable to use and now the funds are expiring because a service fee of $3.95 is deducted periodically. When I finally got around to finding the paperwork that came with the card and called them they were unable/unwilling to help. A replacement card would incur a $15 fee but because they take out $3.95 periodically there is not even $15 on the card. They were unhelpful and it took a good deal of badgering on my part to get the "customer service" guy to even tell me the name of the company so I could call them directly. That turned out to be useless as the company doesn't seem to have any humans working there!

MyPrepaidCenter.com visa persona gift card

I ordered Three (3) $500 Visa Persona Gift Cards on Nov 1, 2016 from a rewards website. The cards are procured from and administered by myprepaidcenter.com. A month has gone by and the cards still have not arrived. The company (Meta Bank) apparently only sends their cards out via regular US mail, and does not provide any tracking options for customers. After calling the awards site several times, they told me they were emailing myprepaidcenter.com to confirm that new cards would be sent out to me, but that again, these new cards would be sent regular mail. I wanted to have these cards accessible for the holidays, and fell that it's very unprofessional that myprepaidcenter.com won't spend a few extra dollars to send me the cards with a 2 -Day delivery service or Priority Mail, after having to wait a month and counting for them to arrive. I will now have to wait potentially another month, meaning I will not be able to use these cards for the holidays as intended. For anyone looking for prepaid gift cards, I would definitely not recommend using myprepaidcenter.com or any product administered by Meta Bank.

I have a $25 Discover gift card and used it at a restaurant, the server stated that there was on $20.83 left on my never used $25 gift card. I called the Discover number and was told by the Discover CSR that Discover holds back 20% to 50% on cards used at server business (like a restaurant) in case there is a discrepancy with the gratuity. The CSR also told me that if there is no discrepancy, that the $4.17 withheld will be refunded 7 days after the card was used. WHAT DOES DISCOVER HAVE TO DO WITH THE TIP I LEAVE FOR MY SERVER! DISCOVER IS, IN REAL LIFE, WITHHOLDING MONEY THAT IS MINE! Not only is this wrong, I think it may be criminal! If someone takes your money without permission, it is called theft!

I went to use my card before it expires in 04-2024 and when it read my balance of $35.63, I was shocked because I have not used it one time since it was mailed to me. And I would like to find out who has taken the credit I was given and never had the opportunity to use.

I have balance but can not use it. Called them, they asked for a physical address, they havn't ask for that during the registration. They hang up! Still got $330,- in my card! It's a scamp company!
