MyLife review: fraudulent charges 23

Today, I only ordered a one time report for search a person for $9.95. but they also charged a year membership which I never asked for $83.40. They also try to charge another over $100 don't know what it is that declined by my card company. I will dispute the $83.40 charge through my card company. I will never use them again, beware.

This web site charged me $116.55 for a service I NEVER asked for and never would sign up for something I never would pay that much for and had NO NEED for. Each time I call [protected] to ask for a refund, as soon as they find out the reason for my call, they change from being cordial, to downright nasty and hang up on me. My next step is to call my lawyer and THE NORTH CAROLINA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. What a SCAM!

I was looking at my checking account on line and noticed 2 charges there that I did not authorize nor did I even know existed . THey billed my aqccount 11.95 then155.40the same day and ultimatlly caused an ISF charge also to my bank account. I don' know how these people got my information but it's kind of scary .

I signed up for a one month membership with a $5.00 discount off the regular price. They said they would credit my card back and give me my dicount with a code to claim it in an email.
I tried to log on to my account and it would not let me. Therefore I could not claim my discount. I did cancel my account immediately. It would let me do that.

This site is a scam, I received e-mail saying that there were 75 people looking for me so I decided to look into it. Well My life.com came up saying I could get a trial membership for 9.95, It didn't have any hing next to it saying they were going to charge 117.00 for a year. They took it out rigth then and there and now it will take up to 7 days for a refund. Please beware and I'll contact the BBB!

BEWARE. when you sign up for this service, they charge you the full years membership fee in one go! They do NOT provide a refund when you realize your error. They do NOT answer the phone either. The service is useless. It provides no information whatsoever. DO NOT JOIN this website, far cheaper to conduct your own search.

mylife(reunion.com) has been taking 60 dollars every month 3 times now out of my account, i did not authorize these transactions nor am i aware of them I no longer use this website, yet they keep overdrawing my bank account and i would like them stop!

I PURCHASED A ONE MONTH MEMBERSHIP OF 12.95 ONLY AND MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED 131.40. TOAL FRAUD. I THEN TRIED TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT AND THEY WONT LET YOU UNLESS YOU CALL [protected] TO WHICH I GOT NO ANSWER. I'M ALSO CALLING MY BANK TO SEE IF THE CHARGES CAN BE REIMBURSED TO MY ACCOUNT.

My life.com advertises that you can find out who is searching for you online for free. This is not the case, they will not give you information unless you sing up for a subscription. False advertising!

THis place is a tottal scam, they us fake profiles to real you in.
I signed up for a one time charge and they continued to charge me, and affter i reset my acount to no longer get cherged then started sending me e-mails saying that there was new people looking for me. Do they think that we are stupid?

said two people were trying to contact me so i wanted to see who had to pay to find out supposedly ten doolars for a year you could contact old friends or high school friends they ended up charging 119.00 dollars

I joined my life .com for simple $7.00 1 yr fee. when I received my credit card statement, I had been charged a total of $95.40 from a company called reunion-search.that I did not sign up for. This was a total SCAM.

When I login for free trial to see who's looking for me or I'm looking for someone they want your credit or debit card # and security # plus 2plans one 3mon. The other a12 mon.to purchase.Falsely Advertising 65

Very scary! I googled a friend from Junior High and her name was listed in a family members profile on Mylife. I clicked on the article and saw she was deceased. From that one click, never logging on the home page or giving any information my bank statements started showing monthly $ 10.00 charges to Mylife. When I called the customer service number they wanted a lot more personal information to investigate. It's clear Mylife employees hackers to retrieve and use banking info to increase the companies profitabiliy.

I signed up for the free first month, which expires in August 2011. It's only July and I have a $131.40 charge on my credit card. Will try by phone to cancel tomorrow a.m. If that doesn't work, I will call the credit card company and report a fraudulent charge on my card.

Call them up and ask mylife.com for their street address because you are filling out the form for your state's attorney general office to file a complaint. I got them to refund my credit card and it went through. Also tell them to remove you completely from their files. Not sure they will do this but note the date you requested this.

Warning: Do not get sucked in my MY LIFE's false advertising. If there is someone looking for you they are total strangers.
Its a big rip off scam. Save your money and look in the phone book to contact someone you know.

If I were in your position, I'd cancel my credit card right away just to be safe. There are numerous complaints about this mylife.com in this board.

I've just added them to the 'spam' folder. I get the same emails constantly. They're useless.
