I also received the same email and he is asking me for a lot of things. Good thing I did search the net before anything else happened though I dont have any single amount also to give just in case he will ask for money. I cant imagine why Christy Walton is not aware of the scam done everywhere via email carrying her name. Its just so sad to know there is this people still doing stupid things for personal gain without minding the pandemic crisis that we are facing right now. Hope this will be stopped already.

Thanks for your response.

I'm Christy Ruth Walton; I was born on February 8, 1949, in Jackson, Wyoming, US, residence of Teton Village, Wyoming. From Newport, Jackson County, Arkansas United States, married to John T. Walton owner of Wal-Mart, my late husband invested in oil and gas industries in most of WEST AFRICA countries before he met his untimely death. He was born on October 8, 1946 and died on June 27, 2005, when the CGS Hawk Arrow home-built ultra light aircraft (registered as an "experimental aircraft" under FAA regulations) that he was piloting crashed in Jackson, Wyoming.

I own 50.8% shares in Wal-Mart, 96% shares in Arvest Bank and also 30% shares in First Solar, a solar energy company.

It has been my dream to create an appropriate channel to reach out to the society through a well articulated philanthropic avenue that will enhance the living standard of a particular segment of our societies who are at the receiving end of government negligence and irresponsible leadership in many nation today where children and women are the most vulnerable to deceases, child abuse and many social vices in our world today. Really it is pathetic to see widows and children in such an ugly situations in their life. So due to my present health challenges I could not wait any longer to have it done by my very self.

After much emotional reflections on how best to give back to the society and having prayed over it often time I came to a conclusion to contact you for a fund belonging (to my late husband and myself) The sum of $9000000 (Nine Million USD) which my late husband deposited in a bank in Spain. Before his death, we were happily married with only a Son by name Lukas Walton, who currently resides in San Diego, California.

He happens to be a major stake holder in Walton Family Foundation, my Son worth $11–25 billion. Recently, my doctors have confirmed to me of having cancer of the lungs hence I have been bedridden and undergoing a therapy, though they said I have a limited time to live. Considering my present health state, I therefore took this bold step of donating the fund to you. I WANT YOU TO USE THIS FUND IN ALL SINCERITY TO HELP THE LESS PRIVILEGES IN ANY COUNTRY OF YOUR CHOICE.

As soon as you receive the fund from the bank, you are required to take 10% for every expenses that you incurred in the cause of transferring the fund to you as my beneficiary and 20% for your effort then the remaining 70% will be use for Charitable Work. Please, I do not need any telephone conversation for now in respect of my Doctor's advice and more so because of the presence of my husband's relatives around me always even here in the hospital. I do not want them to know anything about the existence of this fund because I don’t want my husband's money to be misused without using it for the purpose as I have instructed. I will wait hearing from you for more directives.

May God bless you.

A woman claiming to be Christy Walton, public figure on Facebook tried scamming me through Messanger recently. Claiming to be worth over $20 billion dollars. Real Christy Walton is worth $6 billion. This is how I knew right away not the real Christy Walton. As soon as she said she needed my help and claiming aggressive cancer but do not tell anyone and tried to show me citizen papers I reported her to Facebook. I blocked her from messaging me again. The public figure Christy Walton is not really her. Pictures and information was copied to make it look like her. Public figure page needs to go.

I am Jonathon Hudelson, and I did meet a woman who claimed to be Christy Walton. I did meet her in November 2011. She did propose a deal, that I thought would be a good deal for the both of us, she said she is ill and is not expected to live. So she was going tot be turning over her net worth, which was 9 Billion dollars, and I was ok with this, However her bank FIBI bank Nigeria, did charge me 1, 500 dollars to open a account at tttthis bank, However thtis bank I was dealing with is in Nigeria, and after I paid this 1, 500 dollars to make the ttransfer complete, and I went to make he transfer and this transfer was stopped, because I had to make another fee called a COT fee, and this fee was another 2, 500 dollars, and keep in mind it took me over one year to pay for the 1, 500 dollars to open an account with her bank. and I did agree tot pay the 2, 500 dollars for an COT fee, because I did get a promise from her and her bank called FIBI bank Nigeria. They gave me a promise that after I made the COT fee payment of 2, 500 dollars, then I would not need to pay any more money to get this transfer completed into my account, and two more years a total of 3 years I went to make this transfer yet again, and it was stopped, and it was stopped, because I had to pay a Non residential Tax fee, and this fee was another 5, 000 dollars, and at this point I did start crying. I did send another 3, 900 dollars so I can get this done, and I send my last payment of 1000 dollars February 2015, and then I did get an email from a real estate company in Jackson Wyoming, that placed her home for sale in Jackson for 12.5 million dollars, and I did ask her about this, and she did tell me it was a rumor, so I did some more research, and I did contact the realtor, and I did call them at this number. {307}690-4529. And indeed her home is being sold, and at the same time or same week, a woman named Marie I wont post her last name, send me an email with a similar deal, and I did tell her, that I have already got a bank account with her bank, and her bank is in United Kingdom UK, and they did send me an email showing I have been scammed, because FIBI bank is no tin Nigeria, and now that I have enough proof that the real bank is in UK, and not tin Nigeria. So I did ask this bank in Nigeria, to kindly send me back my money very soon, and this fake bank Nigeria told me this bank does not return any customers money back to them. The man who I sent all my 7, 900 dollars his name is Cletus Aitann, I did tell this man to send me back my money, and they did refuse., And a few months later I seen a woman identifying her self as Christy Walton on face book, and I asked her to send me back my money a once, and she said I have no idea what you are talking about, and we did talk to one another for a few days total 5 days, And she said did your brothers step daughter poison your puppy princess, and I said yes so now you do remember me? She then did give me her email address christywallton3@yahoo.com, which I have already got. She said I am willing to give you a compensations package worth 1 Billion dollars, and after care full consideration I did decline, and I said at this point I just need you to send me back my money very soon, and since this day she has f=refused to talk to me, and I am a very poor, man, who was on his way to the USMC, when I did get hurt in a terrible auto accident, However I did not get hurt in the war, so I am a very poor man who is in USA. If I would have done a google search to were the FIBI bank is located at I would have seen the real bank is in UK, united kingdom, so I would not have lost all my money, I did write an email to DR Phil Magraw, and he never did write me back. I told her I was contacting the FBI, and two days later I got an email from FBI, and I did not contact them as of yet, so I was very pist, and I just told her I need her to send me back my 7, 900 dollars

She did try to get me to buy intot another deal, that says she will give me 1 billion dollars, and I said sounds nice but I just want my money back, and I want all 7, 900 dollars. Hello from Oklahoma City, I just received this scam email today. Even after all this time this group is continuing to play this game. I emailed the group back, not with my info but a word to the wise about death, funding terrorism, treason, building up poor people's hopes, and the clear identity thefts. They probably will not care, nor even be able to read my message in English. But holds true. Safe travels everyone, beware of this one and also the scam from LinkedIn. Much the same.

Has any one else been scammed by this Christy Walton, or am I all a lone. I did recently got an email just like the one from Christy Walton, and this email was from Alice Walton, and I know she is related to Christy Walton, and I did write back to them, and told them, that Alice Walton is a good friend of mine, and she is not sick at all. I really Just want my money back from the bank in Nigeria, The fibi bank is not in Nigeria, and its in the UK. I do wish, that I would have done some research, before sending my money to Nigeria. I told this bank I am not going to be sending any more money to them, and they send me an email telling me, that I would only have to send 500 dollars for the tax fee instead of the 3000 dollars I was suppose to send. I don't like to complain, Can every one see this?

Keep in mind I got an email from a woman who is in the UK, and she was with the same bank, and I told this bank, that I am not paying any fees to the Bank, when they will not return my money back to me, So, and this bank told me I have been scammed, and the proved to me the FIBI bank is not in Nigeria. And this is what was very upsetting to me. I am not going to send any more money to any one, when I can ever afford to buy food to eat for myself. Its so Pathetic I am crying yet again. Christywalton3@yahoo.com This is the Christy Walton I have been dealing with. I do not want her to die. I just want my money back from her. And this banks email address which I have been in contact with is fibi_bankers@yahoo.co.uk I sent the money to Cletus Aitanun, And the address I have is 10 Victory street Garki Abuja, Nigeria. I am very upset because they will not send me my money back. I have tried to call them on the number I have, but I wasn't able to. They told me, that I need to get no refund, so I need to keep making the rest of the payment of 3, 000 more dollars, and I don't have any money. I cant even buy food. I lost 30 pounds in three years, and I am not at all healthy. The FBI in Boise Idaho has not wrote back to me, which sucks. Maybe they are just too busy for me. The number I have on the fibi email letter they send to me is as follows a plus sign [protected], and I have tried to call them. a few times

I am Jonathon Hudelson, and I am a very poor DAV, I don't have very much money, But I met a woman, who said she is Christy Walton. She proposed a deal for me to help out charity in the world. The fibi bank charged me a 1, 500 dollars for an account opening fee, which took me over a year to pay. I went to make the transfer, and it was stopped, and I have to pay yet another fee of 2, 500 dollars for a COT fee, which I did unfortunately did do, which took me two year's, I can not even pay for food, that is how poor I am. I went to make the transfer yet again, and it was stopped because I needed to pay yet another fee of 5, 000 dollars for a non residential TAX fee. And out of this fee I have already paid 2, 000 more dollars, and the bank kept making mistakes with regards to how, much money I have sent to them, So I started doing some research on the internet, and found out her home was being sold in the state Wyoming, so I asked her about this, and she told me it was a rummar, so I did some more research from the internet, and I contacted the realters who are sale the home for 12 Million 500 thousand dollars, and it was indeed up for sale. Then I did some research on the net and found out that the FIBI bank is in the country UK, and not in Nigeria, And Nigeria is were I have been sending my money to. I am Now disabled, and need a hot tub for my back pain, because I am suffering from a broken back, so I need to soak my body in a hot tub I can not afford to buy. I told Christy Walton, the woman, who I believed was her and told her, that I contacted the FBI, and I have not yet, and three days later I got a mysterious email from some one claiming to be the FBI. Keep in mind, this email came to me out of the blue, because I didn't contact them as of yet. I did forward the email I got to the local FBI department out of Boise Idaho, and I have not heard back from, them as of yet. I started having a very bad feeling in my stomach, so I wrote to the FIBI bank In Nigeria, and asked them to send my back the total I have sent them so far, which is a total of 6, 000 dollars, and I was going to send to this bank another 3, 000 dollars. I requested a full refund, and this bank claims to be the FIBI bank, and I was told, that this bank does not return any customers money back to them, so I know I got scammed. I make less then 600 dollars a month, I didn't get hurt in the current war, But I was on my way to the war, when I was critically injured in an auto accident. I just want my money back, so I can take care of my needs. I also do cry, more than any man should. I can even buy food. I eat at a place called the salvation army about one time a week. Its so far away, and I am confined to a wheel chair, and cant get out in the snow, because my chair gets stuck in the snow. I want my money back.

Christy Walton is the widow of John T. Walton, one of the sons of Sam Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart. Anyone fooled by this may just deserve to be fooled by it. The typos alone are a dead give away that this was written by someone who is not native to the English language. This line: "can i please trust you to help me give to CHARITY this heave amount of Money" is perhaps the most ridiculously obvious give away.
