Review updated:

On the afternoon of September 14, 2012, I was taken to the Emergency Room at North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, Nevada. From there I was transferred to Montevista Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a 72-hour involuntary legal mental hold beginning the early morning of September 15, 2012.

The involuntary legal mental hold would have ended on the early morning of September 18, 2012. However, I was involuntarily held beyond the 72-hour legal mental hold on baseless grounds and not released until September 24, 2012.

Recently, I requested for my entire medical chart from Montevista Hospital. On Friday, October 10, 2014, I received an incomplete medical chart full of numerous errors and without any court documents.

In two different reports psychiatrist Dr. Amitabh Singh stated that I was indeed in an abusive relationship with my significant other. This was absolutely in error.

The ironic fact is: Montevista Hospital released me in the custody of my significant other. It would not have been logical or in my best interest to release me in the custody of my significant other if he indeed was abusive to me.

Note: This facility did not report any sort of alleged abuse to me by my significant other to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as was required by state law in Nevada.

In one report psychiatrist Dr. Amitabh Singh stated that my father suffered from alcoholism. This was absolutely in error. My father had only one kidney and his medications would not allow him to drink any alcoholic beverages whatsoever. Also, he was an active practicing member of the priesthood of the LDS Church and drinking any alcoholic beverages was against his religious beliefs.

In one report, it states that I would be living at my father's residence after discharge. It would not have been proper or in my best interest to have me reside at my father's residence if he indeed suffered from alcoholism.

The social worker Jorie Thomas lied to my significant other and me repeatedly. She stated that the psychiatrist Dr. Singh had filed court papers to extend my stay beyond the involuntary 72-hour legal mental hold. No court records exist. However, she does mention court records in the medical chart and stated that my significant other had requested my release immediately.

This outfit appears to be in the business of fabrication in order to illegally "milk" insurance companies and the Veterans Administration to the hilts. The longer they retain a patient the more money they can bill the insurance companies and the Veterans Administration.

Below is a link to an article involving a patient being involuntarily held at Montevista Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. It appears some things never change.
