On April 26, 2008 my wife and I traveled to Pidgeon Forge, Tn. to attend meeting of Grand Crowne Resorts. We rec'd an invitation that said if we attended we would get a flight for two anywhere in the USA. We assumed this would be a free flight. They told us to pick 3 dates to fly which we did. After almost 9 months they sent us a letter stating there would be additional charges (we already paid $130 processing fee) of $590.00 for tickets from Asheville, NC., or Charlotte, NC., or Greensboro, SC (one of 3 airports chosen by them) to Houston, Tx. The normal fare for such tickets from Charlotte, NC is $216.00 per person. We are not the first to be scamed by this company Millennium Travel and Promotions. (Google the Name). I am so mad and feel we were really taken to the cleaners. We are a retired couple with little means. Any advice? I could be reached at: [protected]

Millennium Travel promised a free 2 night 3 day

trip including airfare, hotel, and some expenses, if

you listen to their sales pitch. You get to pick 3

places and 3 dates, one of which they choose for

your free trip. After 6 months of waiting and 2 of

the 3 denied our final one was for sure. We were

quite suprised when we recieved a bill for $1, 600

when it should have been free... taxes and

surcharges they told us.

Do not have anything to do with this company, they

are cons with fine, fine print and wording.

This is another company that provided promotion brochures to Festiva that never provided the free gas tickets as promised after complying with all their requests. Again this reflests badlt on Festiva who should do a better job of investigating these outfits before using them

If you've had trouble with any gifts or promotions provided by a 3rd party but given to you by Festiva, please let us know at comments@festiva.travel. We do want to make sure that the third party companies we use for gifting our guests are treating our customers well and providing the services promised. Please contact us if there's anything we can do to help.

My wife was duped into this deal too.. it was a direct marketing phone call.. she was under no impression that she would be charged anything.. yet we got a 600$ charge on our credit card and no info in the mail.. we called them and cancelled.. pending credit card re-imbursement.. We'll see

Yes Millennium Travel is a scam and so is Global Vacations Network who uses Millennuim Travel as their promotion incentive prizes. You never get the vacation that is promised. After numerous letters and phone calls, nothing is resolved and you go no where. Linda Schutlz
