In october last year, I saw a commercial in a reputable channel, . Milestone capital group was advertising to do a loan modification for $3000.00, I immediately drove there and met with Pepe Cervantez and was told not to contact my lender, his processor by the name of Christy Hanneman would contact me and that they would do all the work. Christy did call me and would ask questions, but it seemed to me that it was always at her convinience. I would call and would be weeks before I heard back. Two months went by and I noticed my mortgage place, was begging to contact me and when I tried to call Milestone or leave messages, I had no response. In june '09 I got a letter from a different firm, claiming they had my file, being that Milestone had closed down and that they were nice enough to handle over my file to them. I immediaetly drove to this new firm, and was told that if I wanted them to represent me in my loan modification I was to pay them 1/2 of their fee's only, being that I had already paid milestone and they were willing to cut me a deal. I come to find out, that Pepe is now working with them, but when I wanted to see him he was no where to be found. I immediately requested my file be given back to me, being it had all my personal information, such as ss #'s, adress etc-etc. I threaten to call police if the did not give me my file back!!! I now have my file and have not recieved any types of calls or mail from them.
