I have been getting billed for charges from this merchant since September 2008, first on my credit cards then my personal bank account. I never authorized these charges nor did I order anything from this company. I am actively attampting to stop all future charges from this merchant through my credit card companies and my bank. These are unauthorized charges and they continue to show up on my statements every month. In fact twice in one month on one charge card. I have now been charged over the limit from my credit card company and over draft fee from my bank because of these charges. This company needs to be stopped.

I take offense to any company denying my right to use my own equipment. I had to purchase this bloody adware thingy before I could use my computer without the damn add coming up on the bottom bar of my PC.

I am not a rich person, I live alone and have only a minimal wage coming in and I just can't afford to be paying for stuff I do not need.

The charge on my credit card said it was from WORLD-WIDESOFT.COM in Moscow.

I would appreciate your action and feedback on this matter.

i was checking my account transactions and saw that there was a pending charge on my debit card, by microsoft billing bills.ms.net, i have never authorized any such transaction with this company. would like to have removed asap, the charge is 27.23 my email is placercool78@gmail.com

OVERCHARGED
On Oct 8th, 2010 I ordered Microsoft Office Small Business 2007. The first 2 times I placed the order it didn’t go through according to their website. On the third try the order did go through. I then got an email with invoice ID: [protected] at 14:10 PDT, but couldn't use it.I sent an email back noting I couldn't use it. Invoice ID: [protected] at 14:20 PDT showed up and I used it. I then received invoice ID: [protected] at 14:33 PDT, but didn't know why and didn't use it.
I have tried contacting them by but cannot find a phone number. I have sent many emails that keep getting maildemons. Don't know what to do!
Magento is the name of the site. Alberta Ltd is where the software got purchased from.

This company took $50.30 some cents out of my account with for something I did not a apply for and I would like it refunded credited back to my account as soon as possible I will filed a dispute with my credit card company if this is not taken care of right away.

when i was playing the new modernwarfare 2 on the 15/2/10 I was hacked and lost all my gamerscore that i unlocked and all my online achievemants and score a nd plus my xbox live. The boy i think thata hacked me is -- lvl RIOTS lvl and i know that he hacked other people on the same night coz i was in the party with 1 of my friends and he sent us a blank voice messages which hacked us and nw iv lost live, gold membership and everything else. Please can you help me sort this out. thanks

I bought the Microsoft Zune 30GB refurbished during Thanksgiving sales for $94.95 on 11/24/07 and until today’s 12/25/07 I still didn’t receive my order yet. Buy.com never shipped out my order, but continued to send out several emails to me offering the same item for $109.00 and up instead. They regularly posted it for sale for $109.00 and up on their website too. Zune 30GB is very demanding during this holidays. Each time I checked the status of my order they claimed it was the setback from the supplier and never was able to give me the precise delivery date. I don’t believe a bit that there is a setback from the supplier. buy.com just sold my Zune to the people who paid it for $109.00 and more. They never confirmed a delivery date because buy.com wanted me and others to give up the order and canceled it. Like that they can make a shame profit of $20.00 or more for each order canceled. I did check out with Google and the transaction has been posted into my statement. That means buy.com did get my money and I never get my order delivered.

The fact is there that buy.com just blew themselves up very well. On one hand, they claimed a setback from the supplier and don’t shipped out the item to their customers who paid Microsoft Zune 30GB refurbished @ $94.95 (maybe just a few lucky enough customers to get delivered), on the other hand at the same time they proposed exactly the same item Microsoft Zune 30GB refurbished for sale for $109.00 and up throughout emails and website. I did inform buy.com that I bought the Zune 30GB for my son Christmas gift. They didn’t bother to let me know that they couldn’t meet to deliver it before Christmas. I don’t believe that adults from buy.com for an additional of $20.00 profit for each Zune 30GB go to low to ruin kid’s holiday’s gifts.

PS: On 12/25/2007 Christmas Day, buy.com informed me that the item is no longer available and they automatically canceled my order.

My current 360 console is a replacement for a previous console that was not even in working condition when I bought it. I called customer service and got it fixed. I later suffered the infamous red ring of death and had it sent off to be repaired. Months later it was returned to me, but by that time I had become frustrated and bought a new one, giving the other one to a family member.
My new console has now suffered the same fate as the old (red ring of death), and reviews that I am now reading indicate that this is a huge problem for many gamers. Why does the hardware on this machine fail so often? I will advocate that the games and graphics are brilliant and very entertaining, but if the console does not work, then it means nothing.
I find myself unwilling to commit myself to another saga of trying to get this unit repaired because : 1) the warranty is almost certainly gone by now, so at my own cost, 2) because it is now evident that Microsoft customer service is substandard, rude and almost entirely pointless, 3) it will take an irritatingly long time to have it returned to me and 4) I have no assurance that this incident will not reoccur. Why should I spend more money, time and energy on a substandard product?
Your standards of service and product quality are appalling and I do believe I'd rather go with another company for gaming. Perhaps a SONY PS3 will be more my style. At least I can somewhat recoup my losses on games as more and more stores these days offer trade-ins.

My XBox has the RROD fault, this is a known fault by Microsoft. So I logged the call with Microsoft and they confirm the unit is still under warranty and they put this in the call. They then gave me a reference number and told me to log a call with PowerCare. I emailed PowerCare the forms, and told them that Microsoft has confirmed that the unit is still under warranty. PowerCare wanted a copy of the proof of purchase, which I unfortunately no longer have. They now want to charge me R680-00 for a unit out of warranty handling fee + another R250-00 for courier costs.

So Microsoft sell you a dodgy product, hand the problem over to PowerCare who then charge you more to get it fixed. All this, while Microsoft have confirmed that the product is still under warranty with a known fault.

I urge anyone thinking of buying an Xbox, DON’T! Rather buy the Sony PS3, I wish I had and would rather spend the money they want, to fix a faulty product, on something reliable! I will not be throwing any more money at a faulty Microsoft gaming product.

I am getting these charges on my credit card every year. I would like to cancel this subscription or whatever it is. No one has called to ask me if they could charge this to my card. I am not even sure what this is. I have no number to even call to talk to someone about this. Could you please help me get this removed and off their list?

My son signed up for XBOX LIVE when he was 16 years old and used the service until he was 17. When he turned 18 he moved to Canada and does not use his XBOX at all. He was automatically billed for a yearly subscription on a auto bill that he supposedly agreed to when he was 17 - a minor. VOIDABLE CONTRACT. He was billed on January 20, 2011. I caught it and called on February to have this service canceled and they said although they would cancel it he would not be refunded his money because it had been longer than 30 days. I explained he was billed on January 20 and it was only February 10th and they said that it went by the subscription date of December 31. Basically the completely screwed an 18 year old kid out of $60.

I would like to talk to someone in Authority at Microsoft about a disaster with your on line support at Microsoft. Everything was wiped off my computer by a Tech person who came on my computer remotely to fix a simple Silverlight problem. The computer was rendered useless – all my files and back ups were ‘empty’. My email program was deleted and the back up file for the email program I used. She was unable to restore to an earlier date! My emails to her Manager were ignored. Problem started 16th December – 2 months ago! I have over 80 emails to your support staff with absolutely no result and no forward movement what so ever.

I have spent hours on the phone and I have spoken to Team Managers, Microsoft Help, Customer and Partner Advocacy – North America.Populus Group @ Microsoft Corporation. and others. Ater giving me a Ref# they tell me someone will get right back to me. After a week I phone back, no one at that department recognizes the Reference# and I have to start again! Annoyed and Angry doesn’t even come close to how I feel about Microsoft today. Is this how Microsoft have trained their Staff to treat their customers? The people I have spoken to are like zombies who haven’t a clue what they are doing.

When I tell them the computer is wiped out- useless, Kaput, not working, they ask me if I would like them to put me thru to the Tech Dept to fix the Silverlight File problem! There is no Silverlight problem any more because there is NO computer any more – it is just a shell – a useless box!

For the umpteenth time, a Microsoft update for Vista crashed my systems. In the past year, my laptop crashed twice and require new reinstalls; and this time my desktop crashed to the point that I can't even start the OS. It's in a shop now for data recovery, but it's the last straw. I never thought I'd say this, but it's time to move on to a Mac. If Microsoft can't take care of its customers, I refuse to support it.

the same thing happened (or is happening) to me... i purchased Publisher, got to step 1 in the download process and after much conversatoin with Jane was told I needed to allow remote access. I said no, was there another way? they said no. I said then could I have a refund, again no, and as with previous posters, they said I was refusing help. I am now in the process of stopping the payment on my credi card.Never again.

Microsoft added 9 new updates 8/15/12. 8.16/12 I was working in Word Starter 2010, when it suddenly quit on me and I was typing while looking at my "tile." It was programmed to auto-save every 10 minutes. When I re-opened it and the file I was working on, the 13Kb file was BLANK! NO error messages...nada. I looked ALL over the PC for it's temp files. They are gone as well. Went today to every website they have and cannot get any help! As a result, I have now lost 10 HOURS of work on this file because of this new software glitch! I guess Bill Gates' billions help him sleep at night...it certainly isn't top-notch products or customer service!

I am a little disgusted that since they came out with their newer model of gaming system (x-box 360). They decided to discontinue their games for the older x-box. If I would have known they were going to do this I would have bought a Playstation 2. I know this isn't a very high complaint, but running your older gaming system out as early as they did to drive sales on the 360 which went up 250.00 more than the original x-box shows how greedy Microsoft really is. Plus they have had numerous problems with the 360. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a video game system to avoid microsoft and go with the nintendo wii, or the playstation.

Bought new xbox 360 with kinect, system worked fine for 30 days, received an update thru the system, after the update console will no longer play game disc. xbox claims I tampered with console, they refuse to admit it is because of their update.will not repair under warranty. look up under many sites tons of same complaints from all over the country. This mega company should be made to fix problem FREE. Lousy customer support

Recently my brother and sisterinlaw went Psyco on me companing about the web sites that I visit and the mens briefs that I look at. Had they been open to reading the story I wrote then they might understand. But they were not. I checked my email system and found share on but no selections for email address to share with. Could it be that my brother has entered my email address in his system? If I find this is the case then Microsoft will get a class action lawsuit that will include felony menacing. How about it Microsoft, are you facilitating Federal felony menacing?

I use to have xp service pack 2 on my computer, and one night service pack 3 popped up on my computer telling me I had to upgrade to this, , I clicked the later button, but it popped up again saying I had to download this update, so I did as it was a Microsoft update, it crashed. The next day I looked in my control Panel the internet icon was missing. I rung up Microsoft in Denmark and they rung me back and tried to find out what was wrong, they couldn’t and I had to delete my hard disc and start again, this failed as well, then I rung again, and they changed the case number, I have many case numbers but and a lot of bad service. On service pack 3 I have had to delete and reformat my hard disc 3 times, in less than a week, as it crashed every time on the up date. I was forced to install this program, my computer was perfect before this update. I spoke to one in Microsoft as I thought this was unfair, sadly I was told to buy windows 7.

I did buy windows 7. A new program, for the first 3 days things worked great on my computer, then suddenly it started to do loads of updates, and it has crashed again, now my computer is in safe mode, and I was told Microsoft would ring me today, no phone call. I cannot use any program in my computer as when I try it states Fotofremviser can not open. I also cannot understand how a new program like Windows 7 can start updating, so many updates, its not that old..

I have tried to complain to Microsoft on the net, but one has to have a live hotmail account, I did have a hotmail account and it was closed, On December the 23rd 2009, my hotmail run into problems, 10 hours on the phone with no help, and one who thought it was a great joke. I’m still waiting for some help there, I was given lots of different case numbers, its seems Microsoft is good at that. I feel Microsoft in Denmark has employed the wrong people, as this cannot be fair way to treat people.

so... ive been an xbox fan since the system came out. now I hear a rumor that when the new system arrives, u will have to have the internet to use it? I for 1 don't have the internet n don't want to be forced to get it due to your lack of respect 4 your customers. point being. as much as I loved the 360 if the new console requires internet... then sadly.. very very sadly... I will convert to ps4. gaming is a choice that I choose happily! but the internet is a choice too.. that I refuse! Microsoft should respect that.. and do whats right! so not only are you forcing people too buy your xbox live service. (and im sure you make a killing off that) now your forcing internet on your gamers. WHERES THE RESPECT! if it wasn't for the consumers Microsoft would exist! so when your ceo says to the gaming world too "get over it" that truly shows that you don't respect your gaming community, at least the 1's that aren't shelling all there cash out too you! I know this letter has a high chance of not being read, but im a gamer.! and I like being against the odds. so thank you 4 your time, and hopefully I will b purchasing the new Microsoft console instead of a paperweight with a blue ray player and a number 4. lol. p.s. when the new system does drop you should b able 2 convert your old gamer profile 2 the new console. I received an mail saying that my mail I.D. have been selected & i have been declared winner of about 1 Million US Dollors & the amount can be collected from Barclays Bank London. I called up Barclays Bank situated in Kanchipuram, they said me that it is an Fake mail, dont get entangled into it otherwise i will lose money instead of getting it. If this is fake, then why are they doing it & how do they get our mail I.D. Please look into that. They also gave us some telephone numbers, which when i entered in Google, was found to be a fake number & it was already booked for fake phone numbers. Please stop such tricks done by these fraudsters. Hope you do the needful.

Xbox 360 is possibly the worst gaming console ever released to the mainstream market. Not long after you purchase the console will it come up with an error or it will just not switch on! Inevitably 70% of people who buy an Xbox 360 will experience some sort of issue with their console!

If this is a known fact why would they not revise the method that it is assembled or at least make a better product and not over charge people for it!

I have been sent certificate by Microsoft - AOL -Award Program wherein i am winner of 900,000Pounds. Also i was lured to pay a total of Rs.2,00,000=00 ( INR ) in two different bank accounts provided by Mr. William Troy - So called Handling / Dispatch officer at parcel2Go Courier Services. After the same was remitted they told me that due to British Rules against the prevailing Terrorist Activities, they will deliver the same in CASH instead of the so called Cheque. Neither the cash came to India nor the fugitives are around to take my call. If wanted i will send the scanned copy of Award ; British Insurance Company Certificate towards the so called Insurance of the same & Way Bill Number of the Courier through which they were to send the cash. It goes without saying that the courier company only existed on PAPER.

I brought a x box 360 wireless controller charger a couple days a go. i followed the instructions to charge it for 6 hours. Then when i began to use it with my wireless controller. My stick didn't work, my character in the game turn up side down and began to move by them selves. I can't control any camera angles, character or action when i have the wireless charger battery in my wireless controller. Yet when i use normal batteries with the wireless controller everything works fine.

Seems my problem is similar to many others who have registered complaints. My grandson was allowed to open an xbox live account in order to use a game he received as a Christmas gift. Soon after, contrary to my instructions, he started purchasing items to go with the game, about $50 worth. I spoke to him about it and cancelled the xbox live subscription and deleted the payment option. The problem seems to be that once your payment option is registered in the system, anyone can use it to purchase items with the click of a button. Okay, closer child supervision is warranted, but Microsoft is making a fortune on this type of transaction.

We called the Microsoft Rock Band support line to ask if it were possible to disable the foot pedal on the drums to allow a paraplegic to play them without the use of their legs.

Microsofts answer was to place the foot pedal on the table and have them use their elbow.

This is just the icing on the cake with Microsofts Support, every time they are contacted, they are rude, short and sarcastic from the moment they answer the phone, even before you ask your question.

Someone needs to let them know that WE are the customers and without us they would not exist. They accepted a position to help customers and if they dont want to they should resign.

And they will be the first to complain when their jobs are outsourced to India or somewhere else.

I purchased an Xbox360 for my son, who is mentally handicapped and does not have the freedom / opportunities of normal folks. He depends upon things like video games to keep him active and happy. The new system did not work (had steady red lights), and I called Customer Support on October 16. I spoke with Nancy. She determined that my system was bad and asked me to ship it to McAllen, TX (at my expense) for a replacement (refurbished) unit. I received the unit a couple of weeks later. It, too, had the "red light" problem, so I again called Customer Support on November 14 and spoke with Raymond, and with his supervisor Jeano. They determined that I had another defective system and asked me to return it for another replacement unit. I did so, and received yet another system. This one, too, exhibited the same problem as the other two. I began to suspect that something else was wrong, probably with the brick (power unit). I called Customer Support on December 12 and spoke with Adam. He agreed that the problem was likely the brick, and was VERY surprised that none of the other support agents had asked ANY questions that might have identified the problem. Once again, I returned a "defective" part -- this time the complete brick with power cord -- at my expense. I was hoping to have my son "in business" by Christmas, but the new part arrived here on December 26. I opened the package, only to find that I had been sent a brick, but NO power cord. Of course, the power cord is a special part available only through Microsoft. I called Customer Support again on December 27 and spoke with Earl, and subsequently with Earl's supervisor, Richmond. Once again, Microsoft support staff had not provided proper information, and once again I had no recourse. Richmond promised to resolve this situation. I received the power cord on December 30. It was the WRONG power cord. I again called Microsoft support and spoke with Ezekiel and with his supervisor, Frank. Frank located the previous order, saw the error, and promised to get me the right power cord. Again, I had to wait several days. I received the new power cord on 1/6/2007. It was, once again, the WRONG power cord. I again called Xbox Support and spoke with Ely and then with his supervisor, Aaron. Aaron first told me that the service center was out of proper cords and sent me the wrong cords as a result. This made no sense at all and I told Aaron that it was not acceptable, and asked to speak with HIS supervisor. Aaron returned a few minutes later and promised to send the correct cord.

This has been going on since October. I have had 3 system units, two power units, and now 3 power cords. In each case the support agents failed to ask questions that would have identified the problem, or failed to provide information that was needed to properly handle the situation. My son is still without his system and will remain without it for at least another week, at which time I will once again TRY to get it to work.

I would like to think that this is an exception, but after being mishandled for almost 3 months, trying to make my handicapped son understand, and encountering numerous Microsoft representatives who could care less about my issues, I believe "the giant" just doesn't care.

This is like the 4th rep I spoke to, not her department. Received a bill on my m/c for $14.99 from HP Smartfriend Service Palo Alto CA ref no 8893 for $14.99
What is this $14.99 for? Never received an email like the rep suggested I should have. One rep said this is for a warranty. For what? He could not tell me what this is for. I have 3 computers and a printer all HP. The second and 3rd reps could not tell me and transferred me...now I am holding on to be connected to Smartfriend billing! This us enough for me to never purchase a HP product again! Who needs this aggravation! I have been on the phone all afternoon and still do not have an answer yet!

was in the middle of ordering a student version of microsoft office 10 and stopped the process because I wanted a CD in case I got rid of my computer or if I had to reboot my current system. So I never downloaded this program and got charged for it.
