If this a scam which Im sure it is. How are they scamming people this is the question. All you guys are saying is its a scam HOW? So they can send you more emails or something in the mail? Do they use your name or something and sell it? Is it Identity theft scam? Sure would like to know how they would use the information they are asking for.
COME ON PEOPLE...!!! These are all SCAMS...No lottery is going to contact someone through e-mail, No guy from flippin Brazil is going to pay someone 2 million dollars to help them get money out...There are no get rich out of the blue fast money making e-mails. What I do is set up a disposable e-mail and I fuck with them. I send in names like Phat Dong, Hairy Glands, Ben Gay, and shit like that. Or I send them an e-mail back and say something like "Hey what a coinsadence (Notice the f"ed up spelling). For I am been having to try and hold on you (Notice the F"ed up grammar). My name is ______ (Make some sh-t up) and I must be having all your information so to I am then able to send you your lottery winnings...!!! Is that great. Also, could you be telling all of me at which time of the day do you exit your dwelling for your working. Please also include information when sending me your dwellings address. I will come with my lama and have great time with your wife (ves). Which ever...Please reply soonly."
I got two today and replied to it, what the hell i said i tried it for a laugh. Should have have came here to see what it was before. Ah well 5.5 million to good to be true lol.
In regards to all the complaints I have seen on here, I understand this is more an epidemic of sorts. I did research this potential scam. It is just that, a scam. M.S. does not have a MSW lotto account dept. In fact there is no dept. in the U.K.
My best recommendation to all involved with this scam is to just delete it from the inbox. Don't even worry about it. DO NOT send any info. to the web address given! Please understand that M.S. cannot assist in this matter due to the frequency of this scam.
Microsoft has it's own problems & something of this petty importance is to our own to deal with. Just delete it every time it reoccurs. It is junk mail. Throw it away as you do with "snail" junk mail.
Besides, do you really think that Bill Gates is going to give any money away in a process this way. THINK people!
Same goes to me, I got one too.There's no way we can be the winner in sudden by not joining any promotion.
