Metro by T-Mobile bill matrix sux and metro pcs will lose me as a customer

Nothing but problems the second month in a row trying to pay my Metro PCS bill using Express Pay by Bill Matrix. Customer Service Rep and her supervisor Alycia were obnoxious and condescending. System times out too quickly and locks you out. If you put it in once as a debit and your card needs to be processed as a credit you end up locked out for 24 hrs. because you attempted it too many times. Seems no matter what you do incorrect, such as miss inputting one field it comes back with a message to try again but counts as an attempt meaning that very, very soon you will be locked out for 24 hrs. unable to pay your bill unless you go in person to a Metro store and pay an additional $3 for the privilege. I am not slow and I am not old. Two months in a row they had me chasing down the information from the US to the Philippines as to why my card was not accepted and I was locked out. Finally this month talking to a customer service rep, then a supervisor from Bill Matrix proved an absolute waste of my time. Once again, headed down to a Metro PCS brick and morter to pay my bill because Bill Matrix has a crappy system! Metro PCS will lose me as a customer over this and I will post on Facebook to my 600 contacts all about my bad experience with Metro PCS and Bill Matrix. I don't really care who's fault it is. I want to talk to a live person when I need to (nearly impossible on both Metro PCS and Bill Matrix) and I want to pay my bill quickly without problems online and without any extra "convenience" fees. People don't use Bill Matrix and don't go Metro PCS unless they drop Bill Matrix and provide a way to pay your bill 1. without an additional convenience fee 2. without having to auto pay it 5 days before it's actually due. RIDICULOUS!

Absolutely agree also! The myth of Metro PCS's "free online bill pay" is a total scam! Think about it . . . they receive millions in extra revenue every month if their customers have to go into a Metro store or use the telephone bill pay! $2.00 a month multiplied by 10 million + customers! Do the math, they are screwing us! Let me know when the class-action lawsuit happens because I want them to pay for this deception!

I Toatally Agree With You.The Sad Part About it is i have had metro pcs since i was 12 and now im almost and when i first got service with them it was good service but as the years went on they started getting crappy and now they are the crappiest.it sucks bc i talk too much on the fone to go with any other carrier without having an outrageous bill, but im jst going to have to suffer the cost and switch to another carrier.METRO PCS SUX and i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone.their fones even suck.i spent $300 on the newest black berry they came out with and the phone is a piece pof crap.every year i end up buying a new phone! The way they do business is utterly horrible.ive never had worst customer service in my life.they way they do their promotions are completely unfair to current customs(ie they had a promotion where yhu buy a blackberry and yhu gt ur service for $50 instead of $60)i think thats bull crap even tho its only $10/month difference thats $120 a year!before they recently changed their express online bill pay it worked very quick and fast but now it asks for yhur zip code nd it doesnt let yhu do anything.so therfore yhu end up either going to the store nd paying the extra $3 or calling it in and paying an extra $2 wtf is the $2 fee for?they're not even doing work we are doing all the work.I HOPE YHU REALLI DID LET UR FRIENDS KNOW NOT TO GET THEM BECAUSE THEY DONT DESERVE TO HAVE ANY CUSTOMERS!

Metro by T-Mobile dishonest company

I've been a Metro PCS customer for roughly a year now. Two days ago, my phone broke. I went to my local Metro PCS store and purchased a new phone. My first question to Michelle, the woman who helped me, was if I could return the phone. She told me I could, so I purchased a new one.

Now I carefully read the return policy on the receipt. I was very careful to follow all the instructions so I could still return the phone. Two days later, I brought the phone back to the store and was told that I couldn't return an upgrade phone.

I talked with Michelle and reminded her that she told me I could return it. She stated that she never said that to me. My return was denied and I'm out $120.00.

I have been using the ZTE Agent under metros service for about a year. Service has been nothing to go nuts about but until 2 weeks ago, since the storm in riverside county, I have had not only bad service but predictably horrible service. by that I mean I only have service when my phone is left alone. lets say I get a text message. one minute I'll have full service but when I go to check the message and reply the service becomes obsolete. even when I get a phone call I have completely full service till I hang up and I have people worried sick trying to get a hold of me.
There is no customer support to call and ask a question to, its like they are to busy with their personal lives and relationships. that goes for when I am in store, the employees are always on the phone with someone who doesn't sound like a customer.
Hey I need a damn job and if they are not willing to do it right or are too worried about making commission and lying about the leather sleave you have to buy in order to get the deal then let me be their replacement.

Metro by T-Mobile 4g phone sales no coverage

I am seriously disgusted with the service I was provided at the metro store in oxnard. They pushed a $350+ samsumg phone with 4g capabilities on me.. I bought this phone soley under the impression I would have full 4g coverage! After many failed attemps to access the 4g features I went back to store for assistance at which time I was told I needed a wi-fi connection... Again they neglected to inform me nor even mention there was absolutely no... I repeat.. No no.. No.. No... No.. No.. No 4g coverage in ventura county. Due to there lack of honesty and failure to disclose the utmost important information... Which is, metro does not provide 4g coverage in the entire county of ventura! Therefore, they should not be authorized for the sale of any 4g phone to people who reside in ventura county. Especially without informing them they need to go to burbank in order to access 4g features!~ wtf
Then to add insult to injury the phone took a # within 30 days and metro oxnard said they would replace it within 3-4 days with a $10 fee... The nerve... And i'm still waiting 3 weeks later... Wtf.
Needless to say but I am anyways... They suck and I hate them!
Now I have no phone... No coverage, 4g or any other "g" at all!... And their resolution to this all is... Oh "i'll give a car charger or a phone skin"... For a phone I don't have... And if I did... It wouldn't work anyways!
Very unprofessional and sandalous!

Wow, this seems likes a pretty simple solution if you want to keep your phone. Try turning your phone to vibrate, silent, or put it in another room at night until they can resolve the issue. It's pretty strange that this is causing your life to be so dramatically affected.

Metro by T-Mobile payment processing

I went to one of the Metro PCS Corporate stores to pay my phone bill. The lines are usually long and on a previous visit, the customer service rep suggested I use "their" Automated Payment Center located right out front. So the last 2 months I used the machine. You do not have to have exact change. My bill is $52, I put in $60 and receive $8 change and a receipt verifying my transaction. Last night (Dec 1st), I used their "ATM". I put in a $100 bill. It processed my $52 payment and said to collect my $48 change. Their was no change. My receipt does say that no change was returned and to call a number printed on the receipt. It didn't work. So I went inside the Metro PCS Store (a corparate store mind you). The customer service rep said, "We have nothing to do with that machine. It's not ours. It's a separate company. They just process payments for us, you have to contact them." Naturally I was outraged, especially since they suggested I use "their" machine. They threatened to call security since I wouldn't take no for an answer. I finally located another phone number for "QPay". They told me this morning that I have 2 options, apply the $48 to my next payment, or wait 4-6 weeks for a check. More outrage. Q-Pay and Metro PCS are liars and cheats. I want an immediate cash refund. I paid cash, I want cash back NOW! I am complaining here, the BBB, Ripoff.com, LA Times, OC Registar, OC district Attorney, State Attorney General's Office and the FTC.

The number on the receipt was not in service. The rep never informed me that I would be using a 3rd party machine and that Metro PCS was not liable for any problems associated with the Qpay machine. The rep made it sound like it was Metro PCS's machine. Sounds to me like you work for Metro PCS. Service in this country is nearly non-existant anymore. It's all about getting your money through false promises and pretenses. If being 100% honest and upfront will not get you business then maybe you should go out of business!

Well I went in store and paid my bill to a rep and had an extra 24.05 charge on my receipt that says QPay next to it and it reads "feature change" in the description. Why?

well your receipt told you what number to call, so why would you take it out on the Rep, she told you she has nothting to do with the machine outside. The rep was not the one who made you use it, she just advised you that there is one outside you can use if you don't want to wait. This is 2011 and a lot of companies use 3rd party for things.

Metro by T-Mobile worst company ever

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They promised me that if I didn't like the service or the phone I would get a full refund within 7 days or under one hour of talk time. I met both requirements, and now they're refusing to refund my money. On top of that, they initially signed me up for a more expensive plan than I asked for, messed up my password, made up ridiculous excuses for the bad call quality like, because I ported my number from another company I was experiencing bad reception. Absurd. Every single person I dealt with in two different stores couldn't have been older then 23-24 years old. They were not well spoken to say the least. I felt like I was dealing with high school students. Very unprofessional.

Do not sign up for metro PCS. The rates are tempting, but trust me, you get what you pay for. Every person I called complained about how noisy, distorted and thin my voice sounded. Also, I would dial a number and nothing would happen. it would take 2 or 3 tries to get the call through. Trying to get someone from customer service on the phone is almost impossible, and when you finally do, you get someone who isn't capable of helping you.

DON'T USE METRO PCS! YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Metro by T-Mobile dishonest sales representative

I purchased a cellphone and signed up the metro pcs monthly plan with c-mobile inc. (Authorized dealer for metro pcs) located at 20834 vanowen street, winnetka, ca 91306 for my son before he left home for college. The young girl named "rnen (Name as printed on the receipt) was dishonest and unfriendly. A customer accidentally knocked down stuff from the counter and expressed very sincere apology to rnen more than one time. Rnen picked up the stuff and then looked at the customer without any expression. We waited for 20 minutes and when it was our turn, she rushed us by saying that the store will be closed in 5 minutes.

We planned to sign up the basic plan of $40/month. Rnen told us that we had to choose the $45/month plan for the first month and then we had to come back to her to change to $40/month. I said that it was odd that we could not choose the right plan for us in the first place. She then claimed that it was the company policy. She processed the transaction quickly and we were out of the door.

When I was home I realized that we were being charged the $50/month plan instead of the $45/month plan as she indicated.in addition, we were being signed up for reoccurring $8 miscellaneous addition services that we did not even sign up for.

I contacted the metro pcs headquarter and a nice representative, andres, explained to me that there was no such rule that we have to join the $45/month for the first month and then switch to the basic plan after. He then told me whenever we go the store to make changes to the plan, the store would charge a processing fee. He gave me a credit of approx $10 for the inappropriate charges. I appreciate for all his professional assistance.

Even though it was not involved a whole lot of money but it is definitely not the right way of doing business. It also adds up if she is dishonest with a lot of the customers and with reoccurring charges.

A lot of people have bad experience with the metro pcs stores. If I had known, I would have gotten the metro pcs cellphones from best buy, walmart or other more reliable stores than the metro pcs store. Then open the account with the metro pcs online. This unpleasant situation would have been avoided.

Sorry about your experience. The stores rating won't increase with plans of only $40, and the stores won't make any money off those plans, either, so they want to sell $45 plans or more so they make a profit and increase their rating. If you come back next week and change your plan back to a $40, they don't care because it doesn't affect their rating. The rating is only based on the time of sale. Kind of stupid, yes, but unfortunatley that is just the way it works. At leat for now. Otherwise, I also agree the sales person was not very good, but I have found this in many stores. Kids these days...

Metro by T-Mobile horrible customer support

I say get rid of metro pcs period.

After 2years of having a real crippled down cell phone/online experience…and no way of being able to fully back up my phone in any way or form, minus just the contacts…it was time for me to go.

Try calling their support number for anything and its like a long maze process so you spend more time in an automated experience rather than talking to a live person. Metro pcs needs to just fork out the bill and invest in their customers. Their support is horrible.

Overall it horrible and to be honest with you, I would rather spend a nice amount more to cater to a company like Verizon because I'm like this, why should people feel like their integrity as customers and their respect is compromised based on having a cheap phone service? So in essence, Metropcs’ attitude is “well, just be happy with what you get…because your poor and you can’t afford a good quality phone service so this is what you get”. That’s their attitude.

As a person who was against the cost of high cell phone services and a person who is a hi-tech person, i really prevented myself from even getting a cell phone for years, then i tried out Metropcs.

All along i always felt that i was being provided a trickled down service but never said anything because actually i never really knew what i was missing.

But now I am with Verizon and i have the Droid X and yeah my bill is twice the amount…but i can tell you this….my service is amazing and the things that i can do with my cell phone allows me to be more productive, find real jobs, present myself with quality and the feeling that I’m not a second class consumer.

As for the Samsung Messenger, yes I had the phone. But after switching to the Droid X, their is no competition and yeah…..its an OK phone, but it is still a crippled down phone that would seem like an iPhone to any customer who is on metropcs, lol, that’s the funny thing about it.

The music features on the Messenger pretty much suck and you cannot transfer your itunes music to it, furthermore you might as well rule out the whole idea of a playlist PERIOD while were on the music topic because it’s not happening.

After being on both sides on the cell phone experience, I can honestly say that it’s well worth just working a bit harder and having the money to get a good quality cell phone. For having a quality cellphone is like a person having a laptop and an person having Metro pcs is like a person who has not stepped into the computer laptop world in the 20th century.

Sooooooo out dated.

And that’s just my 2¢ on MetroPCS

Metro by T-Mobile $50 rebate never received

I never received the $50 rebate I was promised from Metro PCS for a Samsung Caliber cell phone I purchased back on 6/8/10. 10 weeks for shipment has turned into almost 4 months now. I called Samsung rebate weeks ago at [protected] and left a message on their machine but they never returned my call. I sent Metro PCS a message on their website rebate page, but they said to call Samsung at the same number I called weeks ago with no return call. Such a typical scam where seller promises the world and then wipes their hands clean, saying to call someone else when things go wrong. Rebate companies don't send out the rebate banking on the whim that the buyer won't remember or follow up on the rebate. This has been so frustrating chasing these companies around.

Metro by T-Mobile $40.00 visa rebate

It has been 7 weeks since I sent in all of my information required to receive my $40.00 visa rebate from Metro Pc for the purchase of a Samsung Freedom sale phone and as of 09/13/2010 I still haven't received my rebate. When I went back to the metro location in riverdale ga on hwy 85 I was informed by the clerk that I should receive it in a couple of more weeks and to pour salt on my wound I also found out that the same phone that I had the rebate on could now be purchased with a instant $40.00 rebate but when I purchased my phone I had to mail my rebate. Totally dissatisfied !

Metro by T-Mobile fake rebate system

The worst ever cellphone company in the US.. I bought a cellphone with a rebate, that i never get my rebate back after 4months. They said my rebate is invalid because i didn't have a new activation number.. Which it wasn't right because i did have that new number. They said in teir rebate system it didn't say that, so my rebate is under review and i have to call back after 7 business days..I have been calling Metrapcs Rebate Center until now since July 2010 every week 1 times, and always give me a different answer from different customer service. It makes me really believes that this company is really a big liar in their marketing and customer services sytem. They gave all the promotions about their rebate in order to sell their cellphones and then create a difficulties for their customer to claim their rebates. when customer complaints about it, they never get any significant answer at all. I will never ever deal with this company again. A big LIAR!

MetroPCS sucks so bad that if you use them air will implode into your ### when using your cellphone!
They have the worst support system on the planet, nobody has a clue and they prefer to lie instead of actually trying to help. Even if you call the corporate office and figure out how to get a real human on the phone they are even worse than the losers in the stores, there is obviously no training involved to become any kind of employee of MetroPCS, if you have more than a high school diploma you are way over qualified. The low prices may sucker you in but god help you if you ever need any kind of help and or support, the obvious fact is that they do not care about customer satisfaction or retention. Anybody who is a MetroPCS fanboy has never had a support issue or is a paid employee lying thru their teeth.

Metro by T-Mobile $3 convenience fee

We pay our monthly cellphone bill in cash at Clearcom Wireless, 4701 Clayton Road, Concord Ca. In addition to the $40 cellphone bill we are charged a $3 convenience fee. Clearcom staff tells us that it is a Metro PCS fee that you would pay at any location. Paying an additonal $3 for the priviledge of paying the bill in cash seems illegal - please advise who I can contact for help.

We are charged $3.99 for the privilege of paying our bill directly on the phone. IF we pay at a Metro PCS location they charge $6.00. Our monthly bill is $40 so they are actually charging us 10% to pay our bill. There should be a way to pay the bill without incurring a convenience charge but apparently there isn't. This seems to be a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. Think about the millions of people who have to pay this unfair charge. Any lawyers?

I live in Detroit, Mi and have had metro pcs since 2006 and everytime I've gone in to pay my bill I've been hit with a convience fee also. This is false advertising on their part and price gouging. I'm thinking of contacting a lawyer about this. It's not fair that I'm going into a metro and have to pay this convience fee. What if I didn't have the $3 but had my bill money your telling me that my bill can't be paid unless I'm using a credit card or debit card and then I'm being charged $2 just to call in and make a payment And online its free with a credit card. I'm hoping something can be done to reimburse people their money back.

The convenience fee is extremely inconvenient. I switched from t mobile to metro believing metro was cheaper but its obviously not. I switched my plan from the 50 dollar 4Glte plan to the 40 dollar plan and my total was 38 dollars? But with the convenience fee added my ending total was 41 dollars? That makes absolutely NO sense to me. I'm a single parent and was disappointed when i had to give metro my last 3 dollars today. I'm leaving metro and advising anyone i know TO NOT USE METRO PCS. I

I agree it should be illegal to charge just for paying your bill at the store.. If it says METRO PCS on the front of the store it doesn't matter who owns it thats just splitting hairs to protect the corporations not the consumers

the convenince fee is the charge for the company taking the payment, when you walk into a Metro Store it does not mean that Metro is the owner, it is a convenince because their processing your payment. You can mail it your self for no charge or you can make a payment your self online for no charge, now this is 2011 nothing is free, be happy your not paying for air yet.

Well now it's 2016 and I looked up conveneance fee. It states a fee charged for the privilege of paying with a credit credit card. Well I just went in to the metro pics store and paid my bill. And I didn't find out the charged me a $3.00 fee until I got home and read the receipt. I paid In Cash. Fee dose not fall under definition. In my opinion, and last I checked I'm still allowed one, that is theft by deception. Punishable by fine and or imprisonment. When will that happen? You know if I walked in their store and stole $3.00 out of drawer they would have me handcuffed and hauled away in front of god and everybody. We should expect the same treatment of them. How much longer are we as a people going to be ####es of big business? They get away with it because we pay it. Well I didn't pay it they took it without asking me. That's theft. I don't care if they know who I am, I'm sure they already do. Lonnie Graves

I CALLED METRO AND ASKED THEM IF THIER SIGN SAYS "ALL TAXES INCLUDED NO HIDDEN FEES" IS IT NOT FALSE ADVERTISING TO HIT ME WITH A 3 DOLLAR CONVENIENCE CHARGE. I WENT BACK AND FORTH ON THIS GUY ABOUT "WHY AM I BEING PENALIZED FOR PAYING CASH THIS IS UNHEARD OF". THEY JUST WANT ACCESS TO A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD, OF WHICH I HAVE NEITHER. ITS JUST ANOTHER MOBIL COMPANY LYING AND STICKING TO US FOR 3 BUCKS A MONTH. HE TOLD ME ITS IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. WHICH I DON'T REMEMBER EVEN GETTING FROM THE STORE I WENT TO I CERTANLY DIDNT SIGN ANY SUCH AGREEMENT. ANY LAWYERS OUT THERE WANT TO START A FALSE ADVERTISING CASE?

Metro by T-Mobile horrible customer service

This is probably the longest complaint you have yet to read about Metro PCS but if you’re thinking about using their service you probably want to read this.

I bought a phone from Metro a few months ago, service was working fine, better than AT&t I must say but text messages can be delayed for hours if they were sent to you while you're in the subway or some other no service area but for only $50 a month I was willing to live with it.

I called customer service a few times for different reasons which made me realize they are unhelpful but it wasn't until a few days ago when I realized just how useless they are, please excuse me for my language but this company is either run by ###s or by people who just like to play stupid.

A few days ago out of nowhere for no apparent reason my phone gets a weird screen saying "initial processing needed" apparently it has restarted itself(while it was turned off) and will not allow me to make phone calls or receive them.

Metro PCS claims its due to me being outside of my coverage area although it has been working "outside the coverage area" for a few days and this "outside coverage area" has Metro PCS antennas and stores!

They open a tracking number and tell me someone will get off his lazy ### and attempt to fix this service problem within 1-5 business days, they suggest I go to the store where they will be able to assist me faster.
I get back home and I still don't have service so I go to the store where they basically tell me they cant help.

I call Metro PCS again and ask them to please speed up the process since I rely on my phone for work, for the 20th time they tell me "please shut off your phone take put the battery etc’ because i cant really do anything, the technical people are working on it"

After waiting a few days with no progress, my boss getting mad at me for not answering my phone and clients looking for me with no response I decide to call Metro PCS again and see whats going on.

I get the same answer – “take out the battery, press ##26…whatever, well if it’s not working mam you will have to wait 1-5 business days to get a response” let me be clear that this was already day 5 that my phone was not working, with 5 business days with the weekend in the middle I’m looking at minimum of 7 days without service.

I explained to the customer service people, the tech support(apparently not the same tech people who actually attempt to solve these problems), the supervisors, managers and a bunch of other people that the phone allows me to make collect calls and is giving me a full signal but will not allow me to make regular calls which means the phone is FINE its just the service on their part, I asked them if they feel its normal to leave a customer who paid their bill with no service for a full week in 2010 when it is obviously not the customers fault but a service problem on their part, what answer do you think I got? “Mam, you will have to wait up to 5 business days to get a response”

The last person I spoke to was actually the most understanding but even she couldn’t do much, she did provide more information though, she said they had already opened the tracking number and worked on my service issue but it looked like they’ve done everything they could, for the love of GOD! I know they can’t call me because I don’t have service but when I called them and went through at least 3 people why did they not tell me that their tech people cant fix the problem?

What I understood from the lady is that I’d have to wait until the last day to get a final answer which makes no sense to me, I thought it was 1-5 business days not “we’ll check it out anytime between now and 5 business days and get back to you in 5 days just to keep you holding”

Anyway she told me to go to a certain store and see if this one would be able to help, she wasn’t able to tell me whether or not they actually will be able to help because if it’s not a phone problem they cant replace the phone but that doesn’t matter because when I got there the store was closed! Even though she told me they will be open until a certain time(I got there 2 hours prior to that time).

I'm not blaming the people on the phone, they were nice its the company’s problem, their service is just horrible.

I do not understand why this company does not have direct calls to the real tech people, all they do is let a bunch of robots answer the phone and tell you to take you battery out as if I couldn’t think of that myself.

They don’t think outside of the box, don’t look at the situation for what it is, it’s like talking to a brick wall, that’s not customer service, they cut off my service, will not tell me why and will not do anything to make it easier.

I'm prob gonna switch to boost or some other company, I'll do my homework just cant stay with a company who cant fix their own problems in a timely manner and wont even supply you with a temporary phone to make the situation easier.

If the owner/s of Metro PCS happen to read this I highly recommend you provide better customer service because even you one day will have the best phone service, if you can't be there for your customers when they have an urgent problem you will lose them.

I've had Metro PCS for over 4 years and knew their customer service was very lacking (you get what you pay for). I do, however, expect to at LEAST get what I'm paying for. I have had the unlimited talk/text/web for $40 all along. For the last two weeks the web portion has not worked at all. Today I finally got around to visiting a corporate store for answers and hopefully some type of credit on my bill. The lady at the counter explained to me that they were aware that many people were experiencing problems with accessing the web also but that no credit could be given since the $40 unlimited everything is a package deal (figure the logic on that one). Not happy with this answer and knowing any further conversation with this person would be pointless, I thanked her for not being of any help and left the store. I decided to see if I could find a customer service number for Metro PCS where I could speak to a live person. I didn't have a high sense of optimism for this venture being that I tried reaching customer service over a year ago about something else (I can't remember for what) and all I could get was an automated system that wouldn't give the option of a live person. Anyway, I found a number to actually speak with a live person (the wonder of it all). The lady on the phone (I didn't bother writing her name or her i.d. number down because I was already betting this was a pointless endeavor) asked for my account information which I provided. I then went on to explain to her my issue and my recent interaction with the corporate store. I went on to explain that I was dissatisfied with the answer I was given and would like some type of resolution other than basically being told to 'deal with it'. The customer rep told me that she was aware of the problem of people not being able to access the internet but also noted that I had not called before this time to make them aware that I personally was having a problem and then asked me to hold while she consulted a supervisor. I waited on hold for a few minutes and then she returned with this answer as close to word for word as I can remember: We're sorry you have been having a problem with accessing the web, and even though we have been aware of the problem, since you had not reported you were having a problem before today, we will not issue you a credit. I told the rep that first off I didn't even know their was finally an option to speak to a live person, and secondly that I was not blaming her or holding her personally accountable for the response I was given, but that I would like her to mark it on my account and to pass it on to her supervisor that this was the absolute worst customer service I have ever had and that to let it be known that they will have two less customers at the end of this month and that I will be more than happy to share my experience with everyone and anyone. I thanked her for her time and said goodbye. Moral of the story: Metro PCS is NOT worth the money.

I just called metro pcs to ask a couple of simple questions about a phone and phone plan. I got that automated machine who wanted to start to help me. I tried to bypass by asking for an agent and just got hung up on twice. The robot said it would try and help blah, blah, blah, blah and just hung up the call. I can't imagine giving them my money after that experience.

Metro by T-Mobile wouldn't honor guarantee

Do not patronize metro pcs! My 85 year old mother is sobbing because they are ripping her off for $107. This store is an "authorized dealer" which means they can do whatever they want! They don't have to honor the metropcs "7-day return policy" and their "salesperson" brian is sitting around taunting old ladies with his friends. Customer service says we have to return the phone to the store, but the store says they won't take it. Catch-22 anyone? Oh yeah, no manager, either. Then customer service sent us to a "corporate store" and guess what? They wouldn't honor their guarantee, either! No corporate help, no local help. Buyer beware! This company is a huge rip-off! (And, they have 3500 complaints in [redacted] /link removed/

Metro by T-Mobile ignorant corporate employees

After hours of scouring the internet for the phone of my choice. I decided to get the HTC Touch Pro from ebay. Many people have the Touch Pro flashed to metro pcs and it works flawlessly. However, today I went to several metro pcs retail stores and one said that they do not have the usb input so they cannot flash it. Another store told me that it's not possible because it's a Sprint phone. Long story short.. they directed me to the corporate office which is located in the (626) area code (So Cal). The corporate employees there told me that since my phone is a PDA it's impossible to flash and it has to be CDMA and/or I have to get another metro/sprint phone. I wonder how these corporate employees get hired in the first place because they seriously have no clue about cell phones. In closing, I did manage to get my phone flashed from a local metro pcs store down the street.

the thing is that we could flash phones from sprint, verizon, and boost mobile but not smart phones because they loose all the data...so it would only be useful for text and talk, no web no mms...the coorporate stores will never do it because the process is illegaly done. the authorized dealers that do do them, are doing them illegaly, so if they get caught, their store can be closed down and be in big trouble. So not all stores convert phones, and if they do, smart phones are not allowed to be done unless the owner doesn't mind being in risk of being out of business..so coorporate will never be able to do them, ...

Metro by T-Mobile Consumer fraud

I went to Metro PCS store in Los angeles to activate a cell phone for my daughter. Metro PCS has (3) plans, 60 dollars, 50 dollars and a 40 dollar plan.. Because iIwas activating an older phone I requested the 40 dollar plan, I was told by the clerk that I had to activate the phone with the 50 dollar plan and downgrade to the 40 dollar plan the following month, In which she circled on the reciept.. I not knowing better, I agreed and the phone was activated. It was later that same day, I went to another Metro PCS store with a friend, that I was told I did not have to activate the phone with the 50 dollar plan, I could have activated the phone with the 40 dollar plan..I went back to the store I had activated the phone and told the clerk she had made a mistake and I could have activated the phone with the 40 dollar plan and I wanted the 40 dollar plan and a refund of my 10 dollars. ( The cell phone I was activating was not capable of activating the features of the 50 dollar plan).. It was at this time she informed me that it was company policy to activate all phone with at lease the 50 dollar plan. I then told her what the other store had told me and her reply was they were wrong. I insisted on the 40 dollar plan and once again she refuse, she told me that she could credit my account 10 dollars for the following month. I asked her if it was company policy to activated all phone with at lease the 50 dollar plan, why was she willing to give me a credit, she did not answer.. It is my opinion that Metro PCS is committing Consumer Fraud, I think this is common practice in the Inter-City and Low income areas. A Class Action lawsuit will sent the message, that this will not be tolerated.

I went to this store twice, one today (12/03/12) and one back in, I believe late August or early September this year. I complain about my phone LG freezing up then it turn off and on by itself while I am texting. The first time I complain about the situation in store, the person who is helping me then told me that either I can have them exchange it under my warranty and all I have to do is wait for 7 business day and pay $10 for shipping OR he can reset it. He never told me that if I choose to reset it all the information like text, music or even some of the phone number will be wiped out, he never told me that if I choose to exchange it they will take back my old phone on which I have important text pertaining to my divorce case. I choose for my phone to be reset because the person assisting me said he will reset it and everything will still be there. After he reset it I check my phone and I was so mad because all the text was erase and some phone number of people I need for my divorce case are gone. Now i went back to the same store and told them that my phone is still having the same problem and I need it to exchange under my warranty...to my surprise the lady that assisting me told me that I don't have anymore warranty and they can't do anything about it. They mislead me because I was told that I need to get a warranty and I am paying it every month. They refuse to help me resolve the problem and they told me that I can just call headquarter and said "They will tell you the same thing we told you".

Metro PCS is ripping people off. Their service requires you to pay in advance for your service. If you fail to make your payment by your due date the phone will be disconnected on the due date. This is fair and understandable. Where the fraud comes into play is if you pay your full amount due several days after the due date (even though your phone has been disconnected since the due date) your required to pay on the 15th of the following month. Therefore you lose any service due to your account or funds you paid into the company after the due date. THIS IS THEFT, FRAUD, AND JUST POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. DO NOT USE METRO PCS!
WARNING: you also sign an agreement with them that you can not sue them or participate in a class action law suit when you accept the terms and conditions which you MUST do in order to receive service... That alone makes me wonder about their business practices being ethical or lawful. BUYER BEWARE

On November 11, 2010, I bought a phone and a plan from METROPCS. Then in January of 2011, I added my son to the plan. I have several complaints about my phone. I was told by the lady at the State/Fruitvale store that I was sold a piece of SH-T. Now how do you think I felt with that remark? My phone loses calls constantly, I have audio feedback, and the quality of the communications on the phone line was horrible. Today, April 27, 2011, I unplugged my phone from the charger, and to my surprise, a HUGE sunspot appeared in the middle of my screen. As the day progressed, so did the sun spot. I called the store that I purchased it from. She stated that it sounded like I dropped it in some water. I told her that was not true. My phone is NEVER near water. She then stated maybe I had the phone where it could possibly sweat! Can you believe that? When I got off work, I took it the store. The clerk looked at it, and said, no water damage! She asked me to take to the store on Florida/Yale street, because her store did not handle warranty purchases, and it would cost me $10 to buy a new phone. I did as I was instructed, only to be told by the clerk that obviously there was water damage because the sticker on the inside had been removed. I asked him if he was calling me a LIAR? He firmly stated that he couldn't help me, then, refrased it, and stated he WOULD NOT HELP ME, and I was to leave the building!
I called back the store that I bought it from, and asked to speak to the owner. She stated she would have him call me. When I did get a call, It was not the OWNER! It was the manager, only to tell me that the screen was not covered, that if the phone was to malfunction, it would have done so within 24 hours! HOW REDICULOUS IS THAT? She proceedede to tell me that there was NOTHING they could do for me! If you buy a car, is not the brakes part of the car, should the brakes fail? ]
I AM SOOO DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERVICE AND THE PRODUCTS METRO PCS SELLS. I HAVE NO PROBLEM EXPRESSING MY CONCERNS TO OTHER POSSIBLE PATRONS. BELIEVE ME, I AM NOT DONE!

Ive been a metro customer for some years and have had no problems until i bought my smart phone. when watching anything online it buffers till you just give up i can deal with that. but yesterday took the cake. I have a huawei smartphone. i had a voicemail that i didnt answer because i was on a call so i got another call that i didnt answer i assumed that it would go to voicemail it did, it went to my personal voicemail and the other person heard a message that should not have been heard and proceeded to call the person that left me the message, all i know is the person that i was talking to said she has call hold on she comes back and says it was the person that should not have gotten the message. How does that happen that someone gets my personal voice mail. Very disappointing!

About 4 months ago I purchased a new phone from MetroPCS, the phone was a upgrade to a MS770 4G LG so I had to move my plan to a plan higher in cost. With this said, my number changed to a number inwhich the provider selected. The new number came with many of unwanted calls and emails being delivered thru out the night, morning and noon. Now, I am advise that I would need to pay extra money to get the unwanted numbers blocked or pay extra to change the phone number. My thought is that I purchased a new phone, new payment plan, and was issued someone elses old number? Then I have to pay extra for unsatisfactory service that cam with this new phone number that PCS provided issued me. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL! i AM LOOKING EVERY DAY FOR A PHONE PROVIDER THAT i CAN JOIN WITHOUT A CONTRACT, AND STILL OFFER UNLIMITED SERVICES. It should make the management staff a bit concern to know the only reason, a customer is with this service is because of the limited competition.

I have been a so called valued customer of Metro Pcs sense 2003.I beg the differ.I added a 3rd line to my account on approx 8/28 or so, at that time i applied 40.00 dollars on that line, the phone was misplaced, i was advised by a staff member of metro to suspend the service on that phone on 9/3/2011, which we did.The line was used only 5 days or so and i was told by a superv.of metro staff, ''mamma you just lost that 40.00 dollars we cant credit that 40.00 dolllars to your current bill.Had i been told that at the time i reported the phone misplaced i would have let it stay on and request to disconnect it on 9/27.My responds to that is simply this;''OH REALLY?WELL GUESS WHAT MAMMA, YOUR COMPANY HAS JUST LOST A 8 yr.CUSTOMER OVER $40.00 DOLLARS.

Purchased replacement phone at Metropcs store on Court Street in Flint Michigan on July 25th, 2011. Moved to Pensacola, Fl and today 9/6/2011 the screen went out on the Samsung Freeform II phone. Called MetroPCS and was told the phone has no warranty. This was a new in box phone. I was told by the idiot working at their call center that I would have to return the phone back to the store I bought it in Flint Michigan, some 1000 miles away that he could not do anything to help me. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from these people! I am changing my phone carrier immediately!

As for me, this was not my experience! I bought my Samsung Caliber from MetroPCS on 06/18/2010 and just received my $50.00 rebate 09/25/10. It took long but I got it!

I never received my $50 rebate either from Metro PCS for the Samsung Caliber cell phone I purchased on 6/8/10. I called [protected] weeks ago to follow up on this and left a message, but they never returned my call. I sent Metro PCS a message on their website rebate page and they said I needed to contact Samsung and gave me the same phone number I called weeks ago. Typical scam...seller promises the world and then wipes their hands clean, saying you have to call someone else. But, they're very quick to take the initial money.

Metro by T-Mobile put me on hold for longer then they talked to me

So i purchased a Samsung Caliber at Best Buy. the phone ended up being defective so i returned it an got my money back. that same night i called metro to get a refund for the plan charge($50), when i got to a rep i explained the deal, she looked over my account and had me on hold longer then she actually talked to me, when she finally came back on she said, "i confirmed with my supervisor, and your going to have to go to a corporate store to get your money back", i felt like this was bull, being that i paid over the phone with them and not at a "Corporate Store"... i went to the store the following day(Sat), i explained to them what happened, and they looked at me like i was stupid, "you didn't pay thru us why would we refund you" but they were nice enough to direct to another dep. called billing matrix which weren't open till monday, i finally called today(Mon) and the rep there said he couldn't do anything for me that i needed to talk to metro, so back to the original dep i went, there a rep told me that the service was active and that they couldn't refund my money, so basically i wasted all this time and i still lost out, but she had a brilliant idea, why didn't i just go out and get a new phone so i could use the service... at that time i asked for her supervisor, i went on hold for ten minutes for her to come back and say, "my supervisor looked in to your account and it seems this line has only been active for 6 days so you qualify for a refund"... i hate there CS so much. took me 4 days to get my money back, and just to go back to the same dep. where i had asked for it originally ...
