Melaleuca card extortion and bank fraud!

These [censor] seem to think they are above the law!

Well, they have crossed the wrong line here. It has come to my attention that what they are doing is colluding with canadian banks (Or others too) to obtain banking information on your accounts attached to your ccard.

The proof is simple and it works likes this:

We signed up for a trial and did not realize that our one dollar trial for 30 days was over in two days because of the time of month it was!

The other thing is it asked us to choose package and we thought that would start at the end of the trial!

Oh how sneaky they are and they have been bilking people in this fashion for millions of dollars!

We demanded not to ship the order and demanded our ccard be removed form our account but they have refused.

This is called 'hostage' taking of ones property and subsequent extortion, offence if convicted upon, results of years in jail.

They tried to call me and demand payment and I said I didnt want the product and they basically said too bad it was on the way.

Just a couple days ago they managed to extract somehow the banking account inforamtion attached to the cancelled ccard and took the 106.00 out of my wifes account.

A ccard that was blocked as dormant and destroyed by the bank just to thwart any fraud or theft!

Maleluka, somehow.. Obtained the actual banking information or manipulated the cancelled ccard and withdrew the money after being told not to attempt any payments from this card!

This is not a misunderstanding, this is a million dollar lawsuit coming up against them, I am in canada and they somehow got into my wifes bank account and found the new ccard info!

Anyone else get scammed like this from them?

Please email me here: [protected]@gmail.com with details, lets file a class action suit against them.

They need to step back and allow people to remove payment options!

Melaleuca scam?

I was recently out of work looking to work from home, and I came across an ad in the paper to work from home. So I called the number and I got a really nice lady on the phone. I asked her what melaleuca was and how I could make money from home, because I have never heard of their products before. Well the lady quickly wanted to meet me in person, so I set up an appointment for her to meet me at my home. She was really nice but she kept flashing the money part of it my way. Like, "look how much i've made this month, and last month and last month. " i'm like dang she must be rolling in the dough. So, I almost fell for the pitch but not quite. I did give her one of my card numbers, little did she know I don't use that card very often. So maybe, one or two days later, she tried to get money from my account. Didn't work lady, i'm smarter than you. So, I didn't hear anything back from her for about 5 or six months. Then she tried to loop me in again, not happening lady! Just be careful to who you give your card numbers to. Once they have that it's merry christmas all year round for them!

Many members of our family have used these products for years and are very happy with them. One of our freinds wanted to cancel his account and sent a fax and was done the same day. I find the comments made by some here very unusual. They have always treated us well.

Melaleuca service

12/2/2016
Phone # [protected]

I received the most horrible service that I have ever received as a member of a company. I cancelled my membership for financial reasons on 12/1/2016. Yet, $64.97 was taken out of my account anyways on 12/2/2016.

I contacted the customer service representative and asked for a refund since I had cancelled. Ryan stated that he could not issue a refund until the products were returned to the company. Although the products have NOT shipped out yet, the company still refused to cancel the shipment and refund me the money. I have never joined an organization with such disrespect for their members.

I had planned on becoming a member again within a few months, but after speaking with Ryan, I will NOT be a member ever again. I will not recommend this company to anyone ever again.

This company is a marketing scam! They did the same thing to me. I had requested 2 months ago to cancel my account they never sent me anything until I called there customer service and blasted them. By Consumer Laws when a website is built to sell products they must have a return policy but they don't ! They don't allow anyone to return products or cancel orders they used a loop hole with there forced 35 points to reach every month. This is not right and he the owner has now made over a billion dollars in this Marketing Scam. I will never forget this and will never ever in my life recommend anyone to join this type of MLM marketing scheme! They are no different than joining a fake prism scam. The online world wide fraud police should investigate these type of scams. They tried to take money from my credit card but I fixed them by going in my account and changing my credit card to a fake credit card number and put in a fake expiry date. This way they cannot get any money from my credit card again. I have learned a big lesson and I will never ever anything like this again!

Melaleuca unauthorized credit card charges

The company continued to charge my credit card each month, $74.04, even though we sent the useless products back after the first month with a letter instructing them not to send anymore. They did refund part of it last month, but charged us another $74.04 for this month. I called the credit card company and they will attempt to stop the payment if they can do so before it is posted, since today it was only showing as pending. It took me hours to try to resolve the problem with the company, but they wouldn't cancel the orders, but want to keep billing us every month. So the credit card company will put a stop payment on any charges from that company. It is good to avoid such companies because it is so hard to get free of their continuing to charge once they get a credit charge number.

Melaleuca workers

I had the worst experience ever, I had met these two workers because I thought I went to go get an eczema cream .. From then we got ambushed into a whole sales pitch about melaleuca .. I've personally never heard of this company before so I had told the two ladies I wanted to look up the reviews on this company before doing anything ... The lady got angry because I was concerned & that i didn't want to sign up with them .. Next day I had message Betina Piribauer, telling her that I didn't accept her boss getting angry & I didn't want to go on it since you had to spend $80-90 dollars per month or it doesn't work ! From there she was still pushy, telling me her boss said she was surprised that I didn't want to help my partner, so yes I did swear for her to "Go away" when she told me that ! Then she attacks me with the "go get a job" This lady doesn't even know me ?! I've never ever withness such a poor sales reps in my life ! Stay clear of these sales reps unless you are into it cause these people are one of the pushiest people to get you to sign up !

Melaleuca violation of owners

I donated their products to a student who sold it on eBay. The kid received an email implying to take it off the list. Everyone selling melaleuca, etc.. Online should have the right as owners to the stuff they paid for. The products were paid for, they become our property and therefore have every right to donate, resell or trash them. Melaleuca's... policy not to resell online is I think a violation of owners' rights and the law should act on it. After all they already made billions...why do they have to bother with a very small fish.
This link may very well relate...http://smallbiztrends.com/2013/03/resale-rights-you-bought-own.html

I've studied Amazon 3rd Party Selling, The same idea exist there in a slightly different way! There is an Idea that is good for all parties involved, Amazon, 3rd Party Seller & the Buyer of the item. The way it plays itself out over-there is the customer MUST be happy, if the Costumer isn't happy they may choose to leave & never purchase through that store again! If that so happens it is bad for the costumer (Since they've lost a buying source), Bad for Amazon (Since they lost a portion of there business) & therefore bad for the 3rd Party seller. I've heard Amazon will actually delete accounts of 3rd Party sellers if such & such happens inorder to protect there customer base.
Here the pieces work somewhat differently. You have people trying to set themselves up as small business owners & that is part of the production of the company, a main part. These companies do not set-up Morter & brick stores that are costly & after cost only allow the company to keep a small portion of the money coming in. So the way of causing production should lead to Successful producers that are happy with doing business, whether Amway, Jeunesse or any other" People business company. The Producers are important & the life blood of such a company. My friend went away from Jeunesse eventhough he was very interested in this form of marketing since he saw that a potential customer didn't have to come to him, since they could get it cheaper online. That company just lost a producer that could of in-potential brought a lot of good to the company. Gone... a percentage of the business, loss of a producer! The same-thing could accure in any one of these small type businesses.
To diagnose things right one has to diagnose where the hand shake is the brings everyone together. In Amazon & most Morter & Brick stores It is a return customer, then with a happy clientele the different business owners can just do what is necessary to survive & profit in there business. With a "Through the house" Business the Business Person is also a client, there not happy a larger percentage of the business that could be goes away, much more then an unhappy customer speaking badly about the store, since a person that may of not only bought, but may produce alot of business has left.
This I believe is the reasoning, not that they don't want you to get some money back.

Melaleuca unauthorized charges from my account

I was looking for work from home opportunity and it sound nice because I am about health. That is what caught my eye. Eco friendly. I tried to get people involved but that's when the night mare began. Once they heard the name they never responded. They the company teaches you to lie and be evasive. we called ourselves Women's Dream Team. You couldn't publicize Melaluca. Then, during conference they told us it was not a Pyramid Scheme. It was just that. I am presently angry because when withdrawing from my account after I notified them I no longer wanted to be involved, they saw the money was not there they went back in and withdrew, by any means necessary, again causing me to be in the negative. Never again. If you want eco- friendly products then do your homework. Most of them are in your local markets. They charge so much like $20 to ship to my house, not worth it. Their products weren't all that great either. Ridiculous.

MY MELALEUCA SAGA…

Our Melaleuca “TEAM” built a Multi-Million-Dollar + business over a sixteen year period. Truth is, I grew sick and tired of the “Complication Plan, ™ changes, takeaways, the Mela-culture, discrimination concerns, negative press Melaleuca’s litigious history, Franks political stance, suppression of peoples constitutional rights, all of it!” I remember a Melaleuca event- hundreds of us “ME’s” attended … Frank was asking us to get our wallets out and give to the“Romney, pac… our choice of course. However, Frank’s negative take on “Borracho Obama” was very unnerving … I personally didn’t care for his antics in a split room of key leaders.? SMH! One thing I was clear on, I wanted no part of; Frank VanderSloot and/or Mitt Romney in power together. The average person has no idea of the implications of that force. Besides, I love Obama! I’ll be ready for change in 2016 “May the first lady win!” ~KK

Back to the complication plan (I’ll cover more of that other farce later) Next I documented Melaleuca’s deceptive [Residual Income Claims] i.e. Check Copies, reports etc. Here’s what I proved about Mela’s [RBI™] scheme. If you don’t “Pander” to the “Recruiting-Requirements” your so-called “Residual Income” from your Matrix, MLM-group, downline~tree, will go to “0” Yup a “BIG FAT “0″ In 90 days” my check’s went from around $7, 500.00 monthly to well-under $200 hundred monthly, . In other words, “you can’t stop recruiting, infact it’s mathematically impossible for most (ME’s) to hit the executive and corporate positions! (“Hello!”)

Facts are facts, and if you stop recruiting… your “recruiting-income™” will likely not even cover your product orders regardless of the size of your Mela-business. CHECK IT!… Check your [TRI™] true residual income. Here’s how you, CHECK IT! Stop recruiting for 90 days, I dare ya.. and if you “CHECK IT!…please come share, I coined it “NoRecruitNoPay™” However, you may be paid on you (PE’s)(“Personal Enrollments” capped at $100.00 w/o recruiting-points™ in most cases – refer to “Mela’s Compensation Plan”… aka “The Complication Plan” I first heard the term at a melaleuca event. You can’t make this stuff up. “Bottomline, you get paid for recruiting and helping others recruit! “Recruits=Pay!” #NoRecruitNoPay™ I truly don’t understand how Melaleuca…. flies under the radar on these issues? What a travesty of justice – Hence, complete, sham! Think it’s the “We’re not MLM” fairy-dust tales… that must keep Mela in compliance, and under the radar… or soft-money? you decide? Maybe it’s Trolls?

I pray the FTC, investigates my concerns…. and resolve this sham once and for all! FTC *how many people do you have to recruit? “You drinking the Kool-Aid?” :)

Wait, there’s more… around three months after I documented Melaleuca’s [TRI™] I got canned with a phone call from “alan pariser” note lower case) Get this “pariser” had the nerve to threaten me with a restraining order! Symbolic of Melaleuca’s culture. Again, don’t take my word for it, CHECK IT!~> Melaleuca Restraining Orders Super duper comp plan changes I was smart enough to understand he breached our contract with his shameless sham. I never cashed his checks after that change. (I call it the “MELA BANG EFFECT!” ) We helped make this guy a very rich man and he abuses us like we are nothing. “That’s how I see it – and I’m on point! Checkout Mela-reps income claims here. Mela-product testimonials here!

After I was terminated via phone call by “alan pariser” btw – Melaleuca denies this fact of course… real shocker! Melaleuca, stopped my $123.00 “NoRecruitNoPay” checks, and continued hitting my bank account for BOGUS fees relating to the Melaleuca business… i.e, International fees and reports, so.. I called my bank which happens to be Melaleuca’s bank i.e., Wells Fargo, and filed a formal complaint. The following day, Wells Fargo sided with me and credited my account back for two separate charges. However, Melaleuca. Inc. hit my account a third time! So of course I had to jump through all the hoops a call Wells Fargo, and melaleuca a second time, and I was livid! You can’t make this stuff up.. ‘Ridiculous’ all *Documented With “Wells Fargo” and Melaleuca. CHECK IT..TWICE.. and don’t drink the Kool-Aid! :)’ ~e~ Melaleuca bank charge complaints.

“When “alan pariser” called and terminated me… I said to him; does this mean I don’t get my $123.00 checks any more? ) He doesn’t like folks like me to expose his hogwash and replace it with truth and facts! He went on a rant ” you did this to yourself…. you could of had that $10’000’00 monthly residuals for life.” Quack Quack Quack…! Again, you can’t make this stuff up! I’m just not that good at fiction… Albeit, I am a good student, and I have a great sense of Quackery… so, then I asked “pariser” if he understood the fact that he was aiding in the violation of human rights? However, “He sees things differently.” That’s when I told him he had no soul! alan pariser once told me that his father hates Melaleuca, and he believes it is nothing but a Scam…”Put me on a put me on a lie detector…. no concerns whatsoever! Integrity is my most valuable trait…. that was very telling of his father! My personal belief is; – “alan pariser” is likely the most Pretentious, Arrogant, Troll I have ever met. ~KK

In matters of truth and justice, there is no difference between large and small problems, for issues concerning the treatment of people are all the same. ~Albert Einstein

“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” – Winston Churchill

“I pray for just relief… and may the Feds discover for themselves what’s really going on at Melaleuca, Inc.” ~KK

“People say you can get in but you can never get out! Think about it…. Melaleuca sues it’s distributors when they have had enough and leave. Most go competing MLM’s, why? it simple… because Melaleuca is a “MLM” that’s what they know and have mastered! Frank -VanderSloot, battles to strip us of our rights. ..Truth is, he get’s away with it because he has deep pockets from people like me who he destroys with his shameless, hurtful practices. CHECK it.. I made it easy for you ~> Melaleuca lawsuits, discrimination, complaints, harassments, denies all ties to MLM, Melaleuca silences it’s critics

Keynote; The travesty of injustices that Melaleuca has gotten away with clearly exemplifies the over reaching and the abusing of our legal system, Sad truth is – the very system in place to protect us, he leverages to cripple and silence us defectors, very effectively, indeed! nothing like calling on you buddies… and other Corporate tools to silence the “little guy” The MLM injustice machine demobilized as a matter of our childrens future and freedoms! ~KK

My guess is, any 3rd grader could understand the difference between traditional business and a “MLM”multi-level marketing company…. So I ask the FTC. to consider that concept!

Respectfully ~KK© 02/07/2015 6:32 rev.

Word of the day, Malfeasance… Check it!

————————————————————————————————————————————

Update “Melaleuca, lies” When pariser terminated me with [The Phone Call].. I was on speaker phone… and (I have witness to his words) and our conversations, just a another ~Whitewash, and he’s still preaching the same old Residual Income Tales! I swear to god, I never received a letter from Melaleuca. See Melaleuca’s lame, ridiculous, SLOPPY… response via BBB regarding my complaint!” I do admit to the earnings, albeit huge expenses and cost of doing business “i.e., Pandering to the “Complication-Plan™” reality is much less of a grand love story.

“Stellar is less then common practice in the mela-camp.”~KK “Check it!” you decide? everyone should do their own ‘Due diligence!,

I pray “The FED’s/FTC look seriously into Melaleuca’s business practices! “alan pariser” is the puppet master of delivering, and believing his own hogwash. I have all his recruiting materials from day one, and In my opinion Melaleuca, Inc. has a [RBI™] recruiting based income pay-scheme in play “NoRecruitNoPay™” 90 days to “0” all glitterd up with fairy dust!

“Go sell your ~MLM~ residual income tales mela-peddlers, and do sleep well my friends.” ~KK

Re: Ken Klocke, Case #[protected]

Dear Ms. Gillihan:
We recently received a notice from your office regarding a concern expressed by Ken Klocke.Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and allowing us the opportunity to respond.

Mr. Klocke enrolled as an Independent Marketing Executive in January 1998 and remained a Marketing Executive until his voluntary resignation in 2014. During that period, Melaleuca paid Mr. Klocke a total of $2, 176, 861 in commissions. Melaleuca’s Independent Marketing Executive Agreement entitled Mr. Klocke to receive commissions as long as he abided by Melaleuca’s Statement of Policies.

In May 2014, Melaleuca received allegations and documentation that Mr. Klocke was attempting to recruit Melaleuca Customers and Marketing Executives to another business venture, which is a violation of Policy 20 of Melaleuca’s Statement of Policies. On May 22, 2014, Melaleuca’s Policy Administration sent Mr. Klocke a letter notifying him of the allegations and requested his response to those allegations. To date, Melaleuca has never received a response from Mr. Klocke about the allegations. Instead, rather than respond, on June 18, 2014, Mr. Klocke simply submitted his voluntary resignation. (A copy of Mr. Klocke’s resignation letter is attached for reference.) Melaleuca complied with Mr. Klocke’s request and cancelled his account.

In light of Mr. Klocke’s voluntary resignation, Policy Administration did not proceed with any investigation of potential contract or policy violations. Mr. Klocke’s customer account has remained inactive since June 2014. To our knowledge, Mr. Klocke has never tried to contact Melaleuca since then. Until your notice informing us of his complaint, we were unaware that Mr. Klocke had any concerns. Since receiving your notice, Melaleuca has tried to reach out several times to Mr. Klocke to learn more about his concerns. To date, he has not answered or returned any of our calls.

Some of Mr. Klocke’s allegations in his complaint to the BBB are puzzling to us. For example, his assertion that Alan Pariser terminated him simply cannot be true. We know Mr. Pariser. Mr. Pariser is an Independent Marketing Executive in good standing with Melaleuca. But Mr. Pariser has never been an employee of Melaleuca and could never have had authorization to terminate Mr. Klocke. Since Mr. Klocke has not returned our phone calls to date we have been unable to learn any more about that allegation. To our knowledge Mr. Klocke simply resigned.

Indeed “glitter boy” would never do wrong with his stellar reputation… I believe pariser and Melaleuca have had greatly benefited off the backs of good people have been driven out of Melaleuca one way or another. Check it!” Footnote,

———————————————————————————————————————————–
page 2 of 2 of Melaleuca, reply to BBB

His voluntary resignation was the only response that we have received to the allegations that he had breached Melaleuca’s policy. Had he disputed the allegations, Melaleuca would have done a complete review and investigation of the facts before taking any disciplinary action.

We have reached out on several occasions to contact Mr. Klocke to discuss any potential resolution to any legitimate concerns he may have. To date, Mr. Klocke has failed to respond to us in any way. If you have any further questions, you may contact Melaleuca.

Sincerely, “Wayne Billman”
Director of Customer Care and Business Development

btw, “Wayne Billman” Ask your golden boy… what happened to my enroller Dave Rizzo? Hmmm… David, just quietly went away… no good buy or nothing! “10g fact or fiction?” wonder if David got a 1099…?

Let me (KK) clear things up here. I called Melaleuca and disputed the bogus fees charged by them and I made it crystal-clear that after I was terminated by “alan pariser” via phone… it was unconscionable that Melaleuca continue to hit my account for bogus charges. Melaleuca records all calls so it will be interesting to see if those specific calls are on record? Also not once did the phone agent deny I was terminated! I sense a “Whitewash” in progress here.

Furthermore, I called Melaleuca on the first of February 2015 and was on the phone for a lengthy time… I asked if anyone from Melaleuca was trying to contact me? because I had a Melaleuca call on my caller id … she “the customer service rep put me on hold for several minutes… came back and said; sorry sir I can’t find anything here in customer service. I suggested several things like… check with the legal department, I was put on hold… she came back, ‘sorry sir I can’t find anything here! Well, well, well…. ain’t that something! Quackery, Wackery… they have more holes in their story then I can keep track of! “Whitewash”and I’d love a three-way call with “The golden boy… I want to personally hear him perjure, lie, and try to whitewash the truth about his terminating me via phone call.

Note: I did terminate my customer account a month or two later after “alan pariser – terminated me “ONLY BECAUSE OF BOGUS, continual charges to my account for – International fees, monthly report fees.. I stated in my termination letter that I was resigning my customer account under much duress and without prejudice! “One thing holds true… Melaleuca has it’s own rule-book! Check it!

Why would there be hundreds of reviews similar to this one saying people were scammed out of money etc. if that was untrue? obviously this is a scam that you're involved in.

Many members of our family have used these products for years and are very happy with them. One of our freinds wanted to cancel his account and sent a fax and was done the same day. I find the comments made by some here very unusual. They have always treated us well.

Melaleuca money scam

A friend insisted I use Melaleuca products and become a member. At the time of membership it was only $1 to join so I figured why not. They are a scam because you have to spend a certain amount of money each month to maintain your "membership". REALLY! I should be able to shop at my leisure. Nonetheless, I canceled my membership and returned products I just didnt like. I followed up and they did not issue me a refund because they received the items on day 61 of me placing my original order - not the day I actually received the products which was two weeks after placing the order. So much for the 100% Satisfaction policy: "Melaleuca is dedicated to providing the finest wellness products available anywhere. We’re so confident our products will make a noticeable difference in your wellness that if any product doesn’t meet your highest expectations, return the product within 60 days for a full credit or exchange." I returned my items via UPS (post mark date was well before the 60 days). Their claim is they must receive it in house within 60 days. No where on the website or the above policy or customer service rep I spoke with made mention of this otherwise I would have sent it overnight or 3 day express?!?!?!? What a scam I will dispute it with my credit card company. DO NOT BUY FROM MELALEUCA! Their customer service is less than satisfactcory!

Your first statement says it all: you did not really want to become a customer! That's fine! You opened a wholesale shopping account, where you agree to shop a minimum monthly (probably five or six products) to get a 30% to 40% discount. You COULD choose to be a 'direct customer', and shop whenever you want at the higher price. Whenever I shop for our family of two, I buy about 225-250 'points', which is what we use every month. When you switch stores, you can actually save money from shopping at the grocery store, Walmart, etc. I like the savings, but I shop there because the products are so much better, and made without toxic chemicals. I love having my shopping order come to my door too.

If you do not like to buy 35 points worth of product each mo. then you can become a direct customer and pay full retail for your product.
But let me tell you that I myself use an average of 139 product points each month, sometimes as much as 225 points if you take Vitamins depending on your age 35 points is nothing

Melaleuca product return

I cancelled the subscription w/ Melaleuca back in Oct. 2012 and they kept denying that they rec'd the fax of cancellation, in turn billed my credit card twice and put me over the limit . they shipped two boxes of product and the acct. was clearly cxled and both boxes was shipped back to them . They have since gave me credit for one order return after me insisting to speak w/ a manager. They are claiming they have not rec'd the other box back. Unfortunately my boss who signed me up as a member offered to ship the package back so i did not have to pay the shipping costs . She can not find her receipt from the post office, But assured me that she sent it back . I asked one of the managers there to please check w/ the ware house still have not gotten a response i keep calling their but i feel i am just getting the run around. This should never had happened in the first place since this acct. was cxled . I am getting all kinds of fees from my credit card company because they have put me over the limit twice. I even had to change my credit card # and blocked this merchant from being able to bill me again. So i am still waiting on one credit due for $64.65 and i have rec'd 2 over the limit charges of $29.00 each . And this is not fair to me.I don't know what else i can do. Thank You Laura Maragni

Melaleuca harassing emails

I received several Melaleuca products for Christmas from a family member. I used several of the products and had some that I was not interested in using. I listed the items for sale on eBay and very quickly received an email from melaleuca telling me that i was not allowed to sell their products on eBay and insisted that I take them down or legal action would be taken. I immediately called eBay and inquired about the rules regarding selling melaleuca on their site. The eBay rep. informed me that they have a list of products that business vendors can apply to be on that has rules about selling their products to ensure legitimacy and that melaleuca was not on that list therefore there were no limitations on selling Melaleuca products on eBay. I sent an email back to melaleuca telling them the information that i received from eBay. Melaleuca in turn replied that this information was wrong and that they insisted that I take my listing down or they would proceed with legal action. I left the listings as they were and completed the transactions. I think that Melaleuca used heavy handed tactics with someone that has nothing to do with their business and I did not appreciate their threatening emails.

Green Life For You... what part of " I am not, nor have I ever been involved with the Melaleuca Wellness Company" did you not understand? They purchased said from a flea market, therefore they are not bound to any agreement with Melaleuca, since they never made one to begin with. Once they purchase the products, it became THEIR property and by law they are entitled to sell them anywhere. Melaleuca reserves the right to cancel memberships or pursue legal action against anyone who has violated their terms of membership agreement, however, in this case, since no membership agreement was signed, they can legally sell to whomever they want. Any attorney with a shred of decency will tell you the same. The corporate attorneys bank on the fact that people are ignorant of the law and use bullying tactics, but in a court of law they don't hold weight. The products may be phenomenal as you stated, but the tactics they employ are shady at best.

It is clearly stated in the member agreement. Products are not to be resold. The Company gives a generous discount on their products, if you become a member. Yes, one must purchase a required number of products, of their choice, which is equal to a specific number of product points. If you order your products by the 20th. of each month, you will receive a discount. There are no stores that offer this type of discount. The Company offers many other perks as well. The Products are phenomenal, As for their Legal department contacting you, that is your fault. It is not your right to resell their products and make money.

I too have been harassed, by the Melaleuca Company. On ebay, I was contacted by Traci Yearsly...somehow they obtained my personal email address from Ebay and now their "corporate lawyer" Michael LeClare keeps sending me threatening emails. The company even called me AT MY HOME to "discuss the matter." I am not, nor have I ever been involved with the Melaleuca Wellness Company. I bought a large lot of products (several different brand names) at a flea market booth...and I know for a fact that the merchandise sold at that flea market booth is from a storage facility place that, instead of selling storage lockers like they do on tv, liquidates the contents of unpaid lockers at a flea market. I've explained the situation, in writing, several times with Melaleuca's corporate lawyer...yet, still, months of harassing emails. All their emails contain legal terms, but without context or any actual information-- they just take laws and beat you over the head without any regard for whether or not those laws actually apply. The ebay buyers who have bought from me send me thank you emails for selling them the product without them having to deal with the Melaleuca Wellness Company.

I enrolled with Melaleuca on 1-7-2012 and because I am still new I like to search the Internet for all the information that I can find regarding this company. I am amazed at the amount of incorrect information and blatant lies that are posted on here. I am 100% happy and thrilled to be a customer and business builder with Melaleuca. Melaleuca people complaining

Okay...so for those of you complaining about Melaleuca, tell me do you own a cell phone? and if you do own a cell phone by any chance, are you in a contract? If your not in a contract congratulations you did not get scammed. For those of you who complain about Melaleuca and are in a two year contract, listen up. So when you walk into t-mobile, sprint, at&t and etc, and your looking for a phone you like, what do you automatically notice? Oh ###! look at the price on this phone. We'll say an average price for most phones now and day cost anywhere from 100-500 dollars w/o a contract. Now once you find the phone you like and see its $400 dollars, your automatic response is, "well lets look at the contracts. So you find a store rep and they explain to you, actually this phone is about $250 dollars if you get a two year contract and if you only get a one year contract its about $350 dollars...so automatically, you say I want that phone let me get the two year contract. So than they ask, "What plan would you like?" and they then give you a lay out of all there plans; from cheapest to most expensive and family plans. lets say you, "like most people" pick the one that's between the expensive and inexpensive. So you get internet, so many minutes on texting so forth and so on...this comes out to $60 dollars a month. So now your at $310 dollars. So than they proceed telling you, "if you break the contract before the two years is up, you owe them an amount of money" (differs from different cell phone companies). So you agree and sign the contract. (Oh I forgot to mention insurance which isn't much but none the less, its still a fee) So you from there, pay and go on about your merry way. Some months up the road, you phone begins to have problems...don't worry the insurance handles that...until that phones starts to have problems...hmm insurance will handle that (remember some companies have an amount on how many times you can recieve a new phone) Normally most phones are designed to only last for so long...they never meet a two year contract or there destroyed before the two years is up. SO for the next almost year and six months, your assed out of a phone. Well not really...you can go and pay 400 dollars for another phone or pay 20 dollars for a prepaid and only get so little minutes at a costly price. MY POINT: If you seriously think Melaleuca is a fraud your light bulb is lose. Look at all of these companies...Wal-Mart under pays there employees and than in-turn wants to get mad if you go overtime, when your scheduled to work 43 hours IN ONE WEEK and your part-time. Look if you want talk to me about Melaleuca and bet if you had a complaint I can change that experience for you.

Melaleuca avoid

Melaleuca is nothing more than an MLM scam! When I joined I found that the prices were outrageously high and when you try to sell any Melaleuca product the 'team' of people above you makes a huge commission, that's why the price is so high! So when you sign up they try to get you to go out and recruit others to buy tons of this crappy product.

So after realizing this (and after being charged $70 for my first month) I closed my account and sent my order back for what I was told would be a refund. AFTER sending my order back I was told that I wouldn't be refunded and would instead be given a credit, which I can't even use because my account was closed!

Melaleuca is a fraud. They are an mlm company which gives you overpriced products that you have to buy to then sell to others, they bill you monthly, they make it almost impossible to cancel, and they wouldn't refund my order despite being told that I would be refunded! Avoid Meleleuca!

Apparently any and all of you that make complaints about Melaleuca had the wrong person enroll you because they were not very good teachers because that is what we are "teachers" we teach about the Quality of the products and the Quality of the company the products are scientifically proven to be better than anything you can buy at the store and the home and personal hygiene products are more concentrated than anything you can buy at the store as an example the laundry soap Mela-power you can do a full load with only a 1/2 oz. instead of the usual 2 to 8 oz with other brands and I would bet that if you were to buy the same five products at the store like it appears you do with melaleuca you would stop going to that store or is it that you have to buy the same five products all the time because their products are so diluted down with water that you have to buy their products every month and the person that enrolled you should be able to help you to solve any problems you might have by getting on the ph. with you and the company be cause you don't know the right questions to ask if you have any questions that you would like for me to answer my e-mail is lumber_cutter@yahoo.com my cell# is [protected] or you can friend me on facebook I am the only person with my name Wayne Livernois and I live in N. Melaleuca is a great sound referral type biz... Not an MLM and the products are life changing!
No matter what you google there will be complaints...so take that into thought when doing your research. If you would just ask the person who enrolled you to hear a preservation (the company has them scheduled so you hear it correctly)

This is a debt free company that really has the right intentions .

As someone who has participated in the past with health product MLMs with the goal of making money and at the same time working with a product ( s ) that where healthy and clearly work, I must say I am very skeptical of programs that have a monthly buy program.
Bman3304 seems to break it down fairly well, and his math appears fairly accurate.
I am sure if you have the time and people skills to invest you can have success. I am also sure that most people will not have the patience, time or skill sets necessary to succeed. I have been involved with two different companies now that I felt were on the up and up and have better compensation plans than Melaleuca.
I will not say they are a scam as I have not tried their products, but I will say that the amount of time this type of program needs to have asuccessful outcome will be more than most people have unless they are retired or are empty nesters.
There will always be a few out there, young and old, who will be exceedingly successful. They are the exception not the rule.
This program can work but for most people but it will take several years to realize a livable income.
My suggestion would be to get started if you can meet the minimum product requirements and then build the business over time.
A slow but steady approach will be more successful for most people.
I own an Indoor air quality testing company and also inspect commercial and residential buildings. This brings me to why I am looking at Melaleuca. I need to be able to offer clients a product or products that will meet the need more and more people have for lowering the air quality issues found in all buildings.
I am considering the products of Melaleuca because they are chemical free and also because I can always use another source of income... These are just my thoughts and my approach, yours will likely be different, Good luck and think things through carefully. Don't make a decision to participate until information and not emotion are the deciding factors. Good Luck !

Melaleuca is a pyramid scheme/MLM company that disguises itself as a product company as most schemes tend to do now to avoid the Federal Government.

Let me break it down in simplest terms, In order to make at least $1, 000 a month you need to have 100 people under you (or 50 that have at least 1 person under them) that keep up their membership fee per month of 35 points or $65.00. You will get 20% of that commission. or $13 per person. Understand that you must spend at least $65.00 a month or you cannot be a member.
So do the math, that's roughly a thousand dollars. So in order to make the "big bucks" you need to have those 100 spend more then the league minimum or get more people to sign up. As with anything in life it always comes down to agony vs. income and this business plan requires more work for less money. If you want to make 35K a month you need to recruit almost 2, 700 people who spend the league minimum each month.

The bottom line is that the products are no different than other store bought items at Costco, Target etc. They all work the same. They are not better. I've tried them. The Vitamins do not release more into your systems. The laundry detergent does not clean or remove spots better than name brands. The energy drinks are not cheaper. It's a myth created by potential salespeople in order to get you to sign up so they can make money off you. If it were truly a value and service you wouldn't be forced to spend a minimum amount each month. In this economy people are tightening up, not spending more.

This post is bogus. Know how I know? Because those in the business never have to buy product to resell to others! The only products Melaleuca Marketing Executives are required to buy is what they will use in their own homes. The products are great, and there are over 350 of them in the catalog. Most people buy shampoo, laundry detergent, and household cleaning products every month anyway, why not buy non-toxic and environmentally friendly products that work better and cost less than the "green" products sold in the supermarkets and Wal-Marts?

Don't know why this poster is trying to discredit a reputable company, but, as someone who is actually familiar with the Melaleuca company, these comments just do not ring true.

Wow, it's interesting to hear the opinions of the above. My two cents worth is also my opine. I've used these products since May 2011. My house is now cleaned with products made in the USA, I am not afraid to breathe in while I am using them AND unlike ANY inexpensive store bought product that I have used, THEY CLEAN!
I also feel great after taking the vitality pack. The proof is in the blood work too. My cardiologist asked me what I had been doing differently. After telling her, she wants to know more. The only thing I changed was taking the Vitality 50+ complete. As far as a scam, I have made money, not thinking this is a get rich quick plan but as I share with others, I do get paid. I like that idea. Maybe many of the negatives are due to people telling others they can makes tons of moola while the truth is, you might...while sharing these great products with those you care about and becoming more healthy; physically, environmentally and financially.

Guys, you don't understand the concept behind the business. After you have a solid organization, which doesn't take much to build if you are good at communicating with people (most people suck at this).

Once you have a solid organization, the last thing you are worry about is the miserable $70 because you are making easily a couple thousand dollars every month.

So, don't blame on Melaleuca your incapacity to conduct business. 95% of Americans are FOLLOWERS... not leaders. You need to be a leader to make this business succeed. I've made hundred of thousands with this company and about to reach 1MM very soon. 9 to 5 worker mentality will not make you a penny in this business, so keep flipping burgers at McDonalds, you don't know any better obviously.

My only response is simple, If such products work for others then great. However not everyone follows the beaten path of an MLM such as this one. I feel sorry for those who believe it is far superior than anything you can purchase at a regular store. I can help share life enhancing products without the pressure of being a so called "preferred member" or meeting a requirement to spend a minimum of $70 per month on items i purchased the month before. I probably would have a different opinion had i not felt the pressure to spend money every month on items i did not need. Not what i call promoting a debt free ideology.

THESE ABOVE COMMENTS ARE BOGUS! Melaleuca is NOT an MLM company, and if you paid ANY attention to the person enrolling you, you would know that. All products are priced reasonably, are FAR SUPERIOR to the TOXIC products in grocery stores, and all customers are eligible to share in the profits with the company. SHAME ON YOU for trying to discredit a company that has "enhancing the lives of others" in its mission statement.

Was with the company for about 6 months. Products are expensive and customer service as a non-preferred member is not first class. They charge you with restocking fees for returns, just another way to make more money off of customers. They also deduct money from your account if you have a credit with them, proves to be an even worse BS policy. Beware of this so called "green", "more healthy", "natural" company. Your local organic markets are just as good, more affordable, and don't treat their customers with a nickel and dime mentality like Melaleuca does
