I signed up http://www.deluxe-downloads.com/cn/checkout.html and well I signed up for the trial membership for 4.87 for 3 days.
When I clicked checkout button on the page, the payment page poped up and clearly said this bill is only $4.87.However, after I input my credit card inofrmation, my bank SMSed me I was charged $94.6. I was sure I was cheated by Mega Flix Pass according to the email they sent to me:
Username: et*****
Password: *****
Member ID: 103*****
Website: megaflixpass
Access Plan: Premium
the website megaflixpass I have visited before, how can they charged me without my authorization.
today I saw so many persons cheated since 1year ago by this megaflixpass, I am surprusing that this website still ran well after it was explosed such a long time ago.
I cancel my membership in their website, but it seemed impossible for me to return my money back. What should I do?

read their terms & conditions and see if it says anything about a no refund policy. if it doesn't do a chargeback under 'refund not received', if it does do a chargeback under 'non receipt of goods/services'

I paid but never received my account name or user info. They also claim my email info is not in their system & cant issue me a password. I will call attorney general about this site.

I was just about to pay the 4.87 for the subscription at deluxe downloads, which they say is usually 39.something. I am so glad that I read this article. It saves me a lot of headaches and heartaches!

The site is a scam... and shows up under my bank as HelpfulPPL.com ... it is a complete scam. PLEASE PEOPLE BEWARE.

deluxe.downloads.com shows anything that you search as an available download... but it is a trick to take your 4.87... they probably figure that if they catch 100 people p/day they will make $4870 p/day and they will keep most of the that money because not everyone might do a chargeback... these scammers are tricky and they should be stopped.

4.87 and then they want to do recurring charges at $89.00 per month for a site that doesn't even have real movies... if you go to megaflixpass.com, it has fake movies. They aren't even real movie titles. Someone is running a huge scam and it is viral throughout many domains.

BE CAREFUL. This is the last time I put my credit card information in any website that I am not familiar with. I've learned my lesson. I am filing a chargeback and requesting a new credit card to be sent.

I have just been scammed by customercarelive.com beware of them
i hope i can get to my bank early enough tommorow to stop it or file a
chargeback on this. They are thieves I am canceling my card tommorow also.

The "Free" 800 number is useless.
I canceled my membership.
My account was hit for 94.60. and is pending*
Because my payment was through VISA* I can dispute the charge.
Here is the message that I gave to http://www.customercarelive.com:

PLEAS BE ADVISED:
I have canceled my account.
My Visa has been charged $94.60. The charge is "pending". If you choose not to retract the charge, it will be disputed with the folks at VISA.

I have already spoken with my bank and my attorney. Furthermore, I did not receive the download that started this misadventure.

I EXPECT THE CHARGE TO BE RETRACTED IMMEDIATELY.

IF Not, I will file a formal complaint with the ATTORNEY GENERAL

Ive had the same. I canceld the account the next day.
They took out $98 from my account.
Ive written emails with no reply and used the quick cancel thing but to no avail. No reply or recipt of cancellation.
I cant believe I managed to get dragged in with this!!
How do I do a charge back and how long do you get to do it.

Hi

I signed up on onestopdownloads.com and I have been charged £27.97 which I did not agree with. I initially signed up to onestop and then suddenly I was a member on megaflix pass. I cancelled my account with one stop and megaflix but it's not those websites that are charging peoples accounts. It's the customer care associated with the websites.

So far I have cancelled all subscriptions and I have ordered a new bank card. Still no refund.

I had the same experience with being only referred to porn sites.I suspected something was wrong and the messages on this site helped me to make the quick decision to cancel. I managed to do this.
My credit card company was also suspicious and actually contacted me before I could contact them.Fortunately I didn't lose any money and my card has been been cancelled

I wish i had seen this prior to signing up with them as I am going thru the same thing right now ...people dont do this ...first off the movies that you supposedly can download are not even full movies and its a con...stay away from this site...

deluxe.downloads.com shows anything that you search as an available download... but it is a trick to take your 4.87...for 3 days; after I got my password they said I have to go to "mega flix pass" I got a message that I have to update my subscription, I send them an email saying that I want my money back because I was not able to download anything, just porno, I was toll by email not to contact them any more.

I have had the same thing happen to me regarding, Mega Flix Pass. I was misled to believe the movies were accessible for a 3 day trial period after I paid the initial $4.87. Turns out, they billed me for a premium membership to the sum of $89.00 + the so called trail period fee. I was expecting to download family movies and adult genre pops up. To make matters worse there was a trojan virus attached to the download. Fortunately my anti-virus software detected and eliminated it before my computer was infected. Attempts to contact customer support were futile. I canceled my credit card. My bank reimbursed me for the charges that were taken from my credit card (Thank God), and issued me a new card. It was partly my fault because I should have had the fortitude to research the site before I submitted my credit card information. More than likely I somehow subconsciously associated the name mega flix with net flix. Consequently, I assumed they were a credible merchant. That was a careless mistake on my part. I have certainly learned my lesson!!! I will do the research thoroughly, before I even consider submitting my credit card information online. People, I implore you do not make the same mistake I made. PLEASE, LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP. There are a plethora of scam being perpetrated by parasites who will not think twice about swindling you out of your hard earned finances. Be care in terms of who you submit your personal information to.

The very same thing has happened to me, i don't believe it is a scam, but they are simple misinforming the consumer. on your email confirmation, you should get something that looks like this.

"Please read this e-mail containing important information on your recent subscriptions.
*** This is an automated message. Please DO NOT reply to this e-mail. ***
For account management or further questions, please visit http://www.customercarelive.com"

if you go to this website, and cancel it online, it should be cancelled.

Everytime I tried to get tech support from this web site using their information, this guy daniel@customercarelive.com would email me and say, we are not the webmaster for this site nor do we support it. I guess one way you can tell if a website is fraud is to put some ridiculous request for something; Like I was looking for, " accordion repair" and change it to "Accordion Repair up my nose" and they have that download too. I cancelled my subscription, I hope it take effect immediately, I also emptied out my account and will inform the bank tomorrow. If I have to I will cancel my account an open up another one. Isn't there anything we can do to stop this time of fraud?

MEGAFIXPASS is a scam site.I paid the so called $4 98 fee had a username, and password given, but when I tried to find the site, nothing came up even though I followed the instructions to go to http://www.megaflixpass.com.still no programme.I have called my bank.and put a block on the payment leaving my account, so beware?
