I contacted McGregor Poly Tunnels also known as McGregorFabric Structures to see if they could supply my client with a fabric wrapped building, similar to the aircraft hangers they advertise on their sites. We falsely
believed they were a reputable company after confirming the price they gave us with our customer. Pulling up to their address we were confronted with what can only be described as a junk yard.

With an arrogant swagger Alasdair McGregor gave us a quick tour of the scrap heap before being lead to a sort of office area. Then came the most arrogant and most unprofessional sales pitch we have ever had the misfortune of hearing.

We were asked why he should supply us, what benefit did supplying us give him.
He then told us he did not want to supply the building he had quoted on as it
didn’t make him enough money and verbally withdrew his quotation.
Being architects we have worked with many companies and by far this is the most unprofessional and worst company we have ever encountered.

We strongly advise you not to deal with this company.

Steve,
Sorry you were so disappointed with your visit, as I understand it you wanted a non-standard building which was different from what we initially quoted you for. At that point we did not have the resources to design a new building for you and advised accordingly.
I have messaged you as it would be great to speak to further understand your complaint.

We are a small family business that has been designing and manufacturing hangars, agricultural buildings and fabric structures for over 35 years for clients including the 2012 Olympics (17 buildings including the longest building at the Olympics), County Councils and many leading agricultural companies. We give honest advice on what we think will work and what we can do.

Hopefully speak to you soon.
