McDonald's rudeness of security guard

I went to McDonalds in York on November 15th, 2014. My friend and I chose to stay at McDonalds to wait for another friend and we decided to order some drinks. We were sitting there since 8 pm until 10 pm and that McDonalds in York city center open 24/7 that's why we chose to go there . However, while we were waiting the security guard came to our table and asked whether we are going to order any food and we said yes we will order it later because we don't know what we want to order yet and he asked us to order it now. So I said ok I will order it now then I decided to order some drink first because I don't really feel hungry. After a while my friend also ordered some food as well. Around 10 pm that security came to us again and asked us to leave the place because we stayed there for too long, so me and my friend asked him if it's okay if we order more food then he said no and said "I'm asking you to leave now". It might be my misunderstanding I didn't know that there is limited of ime that you can stay at McDonalds. However we were just sitting there and didn't make any noice so why he had to be that rude and actually the place wasn't busy at all during that period then I didn't see it's a problem to stay there. If it was busy then I would be happy to give my place to other customers. I'm writing to complaint about this security guard because I think it's not right to ask people to leave the place just because they stay there for too long.

"I didn't know there was a limited amount of time you could stay..." There is. Hanging around at a place of business and not conducting business is called loitering, and yes, it is against the law.

McDonald's rat feces in fish sandwich box

We love McDonalds food I and my family, three (3) weeks ago I went to Anadarko
McDonalds drive thru and ordered fish sandwich, my wife was with me.
upon opening fish sandwich, I reach in to remove my sandwich
and look in sandwich container and there was three big rat
feces at the bottom. My wife told me to take it back. but I refrained from it
Now I am ruined in not being able to eat another fish sandwich ever. I feel like I should be compensated for this. Should I go public? I can take a lie detector test if needed,

i only ordered is float, fries and chicken burger but almost 2 hours have been delivered, only few blocks away from their branch and they can only give is a gift certificate, we want the foods is make them free because of that bad service..the manager name ia chito..mcdonalds dapitan branch philippines

McDonald's food

Bought some french fries, and was sharing with my husband and he has very sensitive taste buds, he took one french fry and said "yuck, fird with the chicken" he hates chicken!
I bet you deep fry everything in the same oil! French fires, your fish, chicken nuggets, It might cost you a little more But it should be done in separate binds. AND the food would taste a whole lot better instead of a combination of potatoes, fish, chicken.

I spend almost $30 at Mcdonald a week ago and the food was a mess. I have waited and waited and no one has called me back about my complaint. I guess i will start back going right pass this one and go somewhere else. Now when i had a problem with my food at another one that the owner was near not national. then my complaint was answered in a timly manner

I went to mcdonalds yesterday and wanted 3 happy meals and a choclate milk shake for my 3 sick grandchaildren and they gave me all wrong stuff the children where so upset I think you better check things a little better from now on thanky you very much. I m a vegetarian. I ordered a veggie-burger with cheese and without mayo. Well i got my order and got a burger without cheese and with beef and mayo. Good thing that i got free fries but still didn't get the burger i wanted.

The waiter fetch me wrong things for times, I'm can never believe the simple thing "fetch the right things" is hard to act, but the waiter give me the image that it's a very hard work.

This is zunnurain from 317 M phase I DHA Lahore we oreded a share box under the name of shehrayar around 10 pm sep 7th

Sorry to inform you the quality of food was pathetic the fries were stale specially the bun of mc chicken was totally dry the drinks were flat and the sandwiches were super cold
Do you actually fallow any international students is there any one to check ur quality or the deals come like this very much disappointed from ur food quality you should feel a shame on looting people in such civilised way hats off to ur pathatic service
As I am a regular traveler and very well aware of food standerds of mcdonald world wide I will make sure to report ur quality complaints internationally

Saya disini ingin memaklumkan yang saya telah dibuang kerja tanpa sebab munasabah. Pada hari saya.dibuang kerja, saya hanya terlupa dan tertinggal topi di rumah saya. Manager saya memarahi saya dan seolah-olah mahu menggugut saya. Dia juga seorang majikan yang tidak bertanggungjawab langsung. Apa hak saya sebagai pekerja? Walaupun saya bekerja di bawah majikan, sekurang kurangnya saya mahu hak saya sebagai pekerja. Bukannya dilayan seperti ini. McDonald's poor food delivered

My husband and I have often used the A&W coupon offers so when McDonalds issued one, we soon decided to try it. We ordered the 2/1 Mac special. When it arrived, it was the skimpiest hamburger we ever recall seeing in our over 50 years of eating hamburgers! Was the hamburger cut in half to say it was 2 hamburgers? But it wasn't only how thin the hamburgers were, they were small in diameter. Give me Wendy's square hamburgers anytime!
I have a copy of the receipt if anyone in McDonald's reads this and wants to make some adjustment.

Hi,
i am simran patil i resently celebrated my daughter SIMONE birthday party at mcdonalds j.m road pune. i did not expected that people in mc donalds are very good babysitters, there were around 30 kids and it was getting very difficult for me to handle them, i thought this birthday would be the worst one as it was getting very difficult to handle so many kids at a time. but hats off to the people working over there they conducted the birthday party in a very good way, all the kids enjoyed a lot, they really liked the games as well as the return gifts and service was like excellent. i really would like to appreciate Rahul Kamble, Satyam and Rahul A.. you guys did a very fantastic job, i am so happy that i will celebrate every birthday of my daughter at there only.

Hi,
I really would like to appreciate the efforts of the people of mcdonalds, I never experienced such kind of service, once I visited JM road mcd with my grandfather I joined the line to place the order, as my grandfather is very old so he was waiting outside the line, I got my order on time, since the seating arrangement was upstairs, so it was getting difficult for my father to go there. one of the manager Mr. SATYAM came to me and and arranged a seating arrangement downstairs only. I was very happy with the kind of hospitality, me and my grandfather got that day.
I am loving it.

McDonald's payment deducted for online ordering despite order not being processed

I had placed an online order with mcdonalds india on 2nd Sept, 2014 at around 6:45 pm IST which accounted a total of Rs. 486. Since I chose to pay online using my HDFC bank debit card, this amount was deducted from my account but the order was not processed; reason being the mcdonalds india site crashing down all of a sudden, the server seemed to have some issues. I called the mcd customer care number enquiring about the status of the order and to know if the order was processed or not since the amount had been deducted from my account, they guaranteed a 7 working day refund back within my account.

McDonald's camp lain of service

I've never complained or emailed a complaint but enough's enough!
I stand on my feet all day and am to tired too cook dinner this night. We order thru the drive thru and right off the bat she screws up and had to correct her then we get to the first window and she forgets an order, we get to the second window and forgets ANOTHER order, half way home I'm looking thru the bag and I see they forget another fkn order so back we go to get that order and then as I'm taking out the food the fries were a quarter full, BOTH FRIES! So off we go again back to that place for them to fix the fkn order, as you can tell I'm still fuming! They didn't compensate for having to turn around twice and screwing my order up 5 times!

i am very regular customer at mcdonalds jm road i really like the service over there, the kind of people working over there like managers and other people are very good they greet me so well and give my order on time even sometimes they serve me on my table. Hi, I visited mcdonalds store at pune jm road on 10 oct 2014. I placed my order and I received my order within one minute I was very happy with the service, this was the first time I visited this outlet and I really felt very good. After having my food when I left, I forgot to take my hand bag and I had a flight to catch from pune airport. When I reached the airport I realised that I don't have my bag which had my passport my tab and even my tickets. I felt very depressed at that moment, I thought that I forgot it in the hotel, I called the hotel but it was not there, it was a very bad situation for me. I was about to cancel my flight, suddenly I got a call from my wife, she told me that a manager from mcdonalds called her and asked her to collect the bag from there. Then I realised that I left my bag there. I rushed to that mcdonalds my flight was at 11pm somehow I reached that store, I found my bag in the safe hands of Mr. Satyam Divedi. He called my wife through my tab which was inside my bag, I checked my bag everything was there I really appreciate the honesty of Mr. Satyam thank you so much for your very kind effort otherwise I would have missed my flight. I am really happy to se such kind of people working in MCDONALDS.

McDonald's delivery items

I'm writing this to complaint on the delivery items which are not met properly. Firstly, I had to wait for nearly 40 minutes for the delivered items. Secondly, I ordered for double grand chicken burger but instead, I received a grand chicken burger which cost me the money that I had paid but getting the value that I didn't deserve. McDonald's terrible service

Terrible service!
I ordered chicken nuggets, the sauce container was already opened (I flipped it over while it was on the tray to check the flavor) and got my hands dirty. I asked for a replacement sauce (who wants to eat from an open container?) and also extra napkins as my fingers were dirty from the sauce. The cashier (register #3 on 04/06/2014 at 14:17:38) threw a replacement sauce on the table and told me to "just wait" when I requested napkins, even though they were right beside the till and I was currently the customer she was serving. She also did not understand my request for "no ice" for the drink, nor could she name the drink options clearly (I had to ask her to repeat it twice, until a young man leaned over and pressed "no ice" on the till as well as listing the drinks for me)..
She took the next customer, my order was filled by the other staff, yet I was still without napkins. It took a few more tries and finally me holding up my dirty sauce napkin for her to glare at me and throw a wad of napkins onto my tray.
By her attitude you'd guess the cost for the napkins came out of her own pocket!
After I sat down I also realized she had not given me a straw for my soft drink. Incompetence as well as rudeness.

Terrible and poor service. Does McDonalds not care about its reputation? There's no point up-selling its McCafe as a hot trendy spot or trying to improve our image of it into a nicer restaurant chain if it can't do something as basic as hire the proper staff. I have many options for food and beverage, I will not return to a place with such poor service. Please take care to train your customer service staff properly or you will lose a lot of business.

McDonald's home less sleeping lying on the chairs

Homeless people sleeping on the seats and laying the head on the table and they drool on the table .The staff are there and they don't say anything to them. The staff cleaning the table where the drool is and with that same rag she clean all the other tables and take that same rag and take it in the back where they make the food, that is so nasty people can get sick . I told the supervisor about it but she said she told them to leave but they don't. When you walking to that place you can smell the piss when you look around there is the man sleeping. someone have to do something about that and there is children in that store touching all over you know how kid are, they will pickup bacteria.. And they have an A sign on the building.how can they have an A sign and all that mess in there.i do have some picture but when i open them they are so large. Some one should go there early in the morning.

McDonald's general store - product / service

I come here every day, purchase breakfast lunch or dinner daily. Therefore I have gotten to know several employees by name and they know me. There has been a recent turnover of personnel both in management and general help. Before there was no constructive criticism. Now, with new management, I observe arguments with employees and management notably with Anthony (AJ). They take the employee either outside to chastise them or in the dining area. Either way patrons view this as unsatisfactory. Now, as for the men's restroom it is always dirty, trash not emptied, urinal is smelly, the mirrors are dirty. The dining area is always being swept, however the window sills, seats and tables are not wiped thoroughly. There is still ketchup or mustard still visible on the tables. I was told I spend to much time here, perhaps this is true . So, Anthony claims there were complaints filed regarding that issue. He and I talked and came to an amicable agreement. I left for a few days. I came back today and when he came in, he said there is "No Smoking" permitted on the outside deck. I was told to go off the property to smoke. I complied, there is no sign and others (including employees) were smoking where I was and he said nothing to them. I feel as though he wishes for me to leave. Now, the General Manager Jean, talks to me and is cordial. Even when Jean has to discuss matters with an employee he is tactful in doing so. Now, as for the ice cream machine, the maintenance people are here every week having to fix it. They lose business when it is not operating. I see people walk out without buying anything because of it. I also see people upset by going through the drive through and get the wrong order. Now, they have to park and come inside, get the front counter persons attention to get the order correct. The whole idea of having a drive through is so people do not have to wait in line inside the store. This happens on an average of 4 times per hour. I watch it happen, you have cameras installed, someone needs to use them. There are several managers, Jean, Anthony (AJ), Makayla, Mika and another man that I do not see very often. Makayla and Mika are the best ones because the employees respect them as do the patrons. In the time Anthony (AJ) has been here I have heard nothing but negativity about him and recently he has exhibited that behavior towards me. When he gets upset, he stutters and spits. I hear him along the preparation line getting annoyed, so in my observation he needs to use a mask to prevent his saliva from contacting the food. At times I see people in the preparation line not using latex or rubber gloves while handling the food. I can just as easily contact the HEALTH DEPARTMENT but I would rather see the corrections made internally. I also observe employees smoking marijuana on the dining deck when their shift is over while waiting for a ride. I am not going to turn anyone in for this, just know that you have cameras, please utilize them. I realize people need to work and this establishment is known for rapid turnover, however, when interviewing perspective employees look at they dress for the interview, their mannerisms while in the interview. Sometimes it is better to hiring someone without experience in the fast food industry because then you can train them the right way. Rotate your staff, allow them to experience the business from top to bottom. Thank you for your time!

McDonald's Market Force handles McDonalds shops and 5 Guys

Market Force 1.800.669.9939 uses a bell curve to judge reports for McDonalds and 5 Guys so don't even think of doing a great job or they will drop you. They don't want bad reports, obviously, BUT if you do too good a job and report too much they will drop you. Basically you are there to just report what McDonalds already knows. If you report any timing over 3 minutes they will flag your report. If you give too much detail, they will flag you. I worked for them for over 10 years and they dropped me for doing reports that were too good and outside the "bell curve".Also, don't miss a single instruction or they will not pay you and believe me they look for reasons. If you submit a good report and receipts and they can find any reason not to pay you, and there are plenty with McDonald reports over 50 questions, they can change your report, not pay you, but submit it themselves and get paid. They have your report and receipts and they can and probably do change the report so it is acceptable and then they submit it and keep all the money.It is too bad McDonalds doesn't really know what they are up to.

McDonald's lies and deceit

I have been a valued mystery shopper for more than 10 years getting reviews of 9 and 10 out of 10 from most companies. In 2011 Market Force blocked me from doing shops because I ran my own company more than 10 years ago. I complained on this forum and they quickly let me back but I was told by Midge that I would be under scutiny. Since then they have quietly been building a case against me and now I find out that they "think" my responses are "way outside the bell curve". In addition to not paying me for the slightest of reasons they now say that without any warning they say I have been way outside the bell curve for 10 McDonald shops. They also lied to me in writing when I questioned why I was no longer getting 5 Guys assignments. After further investigation I found that was a blatant lie and they had in fact blocked me from the 5 Guys closest to me. Midge, Simone and the crew at Market Force have been trying to get even with me for my expose in 2011 and now they have done it.
Face it, the pay for most of the jobs are below anyone's dignity amount to about $2 per 30 minutes. The questionaires and lengthy and repetitive and take way too long for the money they pay. McDonald shops are about 40 pages long and on one page it may ask for one piece of information like "was this the correct location" and another whole page asking "were they open" and on it goes. The supermarket shops are even worse, they actally encourage you to attempt to "steal" something by putting it on the bottom of your wagon to see if they "catch you" . Of course you are not supposed to actually steal it but how embarrassing is that and how many times can you do that week after week before being thought of as a theif. All in all you can do much better than Market Force and they don't pay enough and they will use any excuse not to pay you. If you spend money for product, fill out a lengthy report and they decide for any reason at all not to accept it you are out the money, time, gas, and they get to keep the report, and in my opinion, may use it anyway. You would not know. They have the report, they have the reciepts and you have nothing. I think McDonalds and 5 Guys and the other companies using Market Force should switch to just having customers go online, make a report about the experience, and they could pay you more than Market Force and still come away much, much cheaper than using companies like Market Force. Dont' waste your time with Market Force. In the end, you will lose money and time and make them richer.

McDonald's horrible customer service

I asked the cashier Mayra (she has a long tattoo across the length of her left forearm to her elbow) what the price of the largest drink was and she responded by saying $1, I paused for a second when she rudely prompts me by asking if I want her to guess the type of soda I want too. Guess the type of soda I want! I was infuriated! Who does she think she is speaking to me like that! As if she had a grudge or some sort of vendetta against me! I responded with "I would like you to work on your customer service skills" to which all she said was "Ok well we have different varieties". Completely ignoring what I requested. I told her my choice of drink and at the window after paying my total I asked her if she could let me know how to put a customer complaint to which she only said "You can speak to my manager, she's at the other window" and then she just simply shut the window. Upon shutting the window I saw her walk over to her manager who was handing over the food at the second window and I could see her discussing something with her, most likely giving her a heads up about me. I told the manager about the situation and that Mayra needs to work on her customer service skills to which the manager herself all she really had to say to me was "Yeah, she shouldn't do that". I told her that I have intentions of submitting an online complaint to which she had nothing else to say. The least she could've done is have Mayra come up to the window (since she apparently also has the liberty to leave her post as a cashier whenever she desires while there was still a long line behind me), and have her apologize, after all she has time to warn the manager about me. All in all McDonald's store # 4439 does not care with a lousy leader for a manager and Mayra should not work serving the public!

I feel bad for the author of this complaint. Whoever you are, you need to develop thicker skin...life is short and you're going to waste yours getting upset over trivial things.

McDonald's lousy service & rude order taker

My family and I was at gurney plaza for dinner but disaster was awaiting as we reached the counter. A fat girl took our order, I liked the fried chicken of McD so I asked for the combo. She said that they were out of chicken. I was surprised as even late hours, fried chicken was available, I was not happy so I said if u don't have fried chicken why still advertise it on the menu, it should be removed. She replied that "if can I will removed it myself ". This was her exact words, I was shocked and disappointed and settled for prosperity burger. Then I paid, she asked me to wait on the left side for the order. The next customer got her order first, then I questioned why mine was late, she looked at me and disgustedly pointed to the right hand side pointing to a meal which was placed on the right hand side of the counter. I was mad, as knowing my order, she should have asked me to wait on the right hand side of the counter...she acted blurr...I immediately asked to speak to the manager, a Chinese girl attended to me. I told her what has happened, and why they don't serve fried chicken. She immediately responded by saying that I had to wait if I wanted fried chicken.
This is inconsistent / cheating the customers. First the lady in the counter said they we out of fried chicken, later the manager says that you have to wait.
Where is the standard. Why many times I can't get fried chicken, always have to wait or they says finish. Cant the management look into this...the outlet managers should know how to plan and prepare. This is the 5th time I walked into McD and no fried chicken available.
Is the management trying to save on wastages by not preparing enough item in the menu and only keep and prepare popular items on the menu. Let me remind you that you re dealing with human beings with different tastes, but I am being reasonable by only ordering what's on the menu.
Is this a difficult request to fulfill?
Pls improve the quality of your front liners...very rude to says as what was said to me. Put yourself in my shoes, when you are hungry and a rude service personnel with personnel problems attend to you.
Is this the standard of service you provide to all customers in Malaysia.

McDonald's awful service

I went to McDonald's to get dinner for myself and my family including a toddler who was hungry. I went to the drive through where I waited almost ten minutes for the cashier to take my order. She couldn't even hear my order. I repeated myself several times. She did not offer us a larger size fries she didn't give us a price it was evident the cashier was either new or didn't care about us or her employer. there was only two cars in front of us the first car took ten minutes I timed it. you could see in the window the cashier was joking around and not doing her job. the next car took the same ten minutes and a line around the block formed behind us. we finally got to the window., It took her five minutes to come to the window and give us a price. We paid and then our food was nowhere to be found. I pulled over and went inside to find the manager, staff and cashier playing around, laughing and abusing the food. We were afraid they were going to do something to our food since I had to complain. My wife worked for Burger King for 7 years and knows that this is not a store we will ever go to again. I asked for my money back and ordered a pizza. Please replace the staff in this store. it is a terrible shame when young people have a job and think its a joke, . The only customer inside was served 20 minutes before me. This is unacceptable. this is not the first time this has happened. the incident took place Friday, December 13, 2013 at 6:30 pm.

I went to McDonalds on Mcclellandtown road and waited in line for service for 45 minutes.The girls were to busy talking to take care of customers.I will never go there again

When allowed to play in full, this isn't too bad. However the cuts used for Foxtel/TV promos are just focused on Breast, Chests and Buttock. They took your 1min and turned it into a 30 sec soft core porno. McDonalds and advertisers - McDonalds sexualising children and young people!

AND it did not take 10 minutes each for the 2 cars in front of you because NOBODY would wait 20 minutes in a McDonalds drive thru.

So who is the toddler here, you or your son. If you wanted larger fries than ask for them. Some people get angry if they ask the customer to upgrade, so there is not winning her, also if she is new you can expect her to not be perfect, I am sure when you first started a new job you were not perfect.
