All I can say is BUYER BEWARE-- having ordered some of the free trials!! I must say I was shocked to see charges I did not authorize. Read the fine print as your joining a teeth whitening club that they charge monthly for as much as 88.00 really-- you could go to a dentist and get your teeth done for what this would cost you-- after getting caught up in this-- I called one place to cancel as I had not recieved their FREE TRIALwas told that the order has been sent and I would be charged 59.95 now what part of TRIAL am I not understanding? I asked why didn't they just show the charge as 59.95 to which the response was you have 14 days to send it back WHAT????? My suggestion people is don't order the FREE TRIAL-- for all you folks that have been ripped how about us getting together to do a class action on these companies praying on us--- One more Ddazzle white when I asked where they were located -- South Asia

Just returned from my bank after cancelling and blocking my account... I have spent all weekend on this and all this morning phoneing different numbers with no gratification, all numbers seem to be unavailable..

I still have the dazzle white pen sat here ... the bank are going to investigate this further.

Best thing to do is cancel your c/card and get a new one. That way they can't take any more money from you. If you don't and you don't cancel with ALL the bogus companies taking out of your account, you WILL continue to get stolen from.
Cancelling with all the other companies is impossible, I tried, I was given wrong numbers time and again. Even if you do get to cancel with them all, there is no certainty they won't use another company to withdraw your money.

If you do manage to read a copy of the terms and conditions, there is a clause in it that says they reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without informing you. I.e. letting other 'companies' have your c/card details.

I can't stress enough, close your c/card and get a new one. Fully inform your bank of what has happened and hopefully they can recoup funds for you. At the very least, Dazzlewhite and its many guises will not be able to extort another penny from you.

I went through the whole thing as well. All I can tell you is, dont bother chatting with them. Ring the number, cancel everything, you will have unknowingly signed up for at least 3 separate items, so you need to ask them to cancel everything. not just the membership for the "Tooth whitener". You need to get a separate cancellation number for each. Make sure you get these.
Now look at your credit card statement and see if and what you have been charged and take it to your bank along with your cancellation numbers and cancel your credit card immediately. Then you should be able to get your credit card co (through your bank) to stop the charges and reverse them, all of them, the postage too.
Reason would be that you never received the product and you never authorised the payment for anything other than a small shipping charge of which you have a receipt for( sent via email) and you did not receive the "free product"

If the product does arrive dont bother to send it back, its just their way of getting you to pay more. A reputable credit card company would help you to get all those charges reversed. I did all of the above and have not heard any more bad news but I am still checking on my new credit card just incase. Good luck!

5. Orders/Billing. In consideration for the Online Products that you receive from DazzleWhiteTM, and for enrollment in the All Access Program, you agree to pay the Fees (as defined below). You shall have the choice to pay the Fees via the credit card or debit card that you provide as part of your Application, or update at a later date ("Active Credit Card"). Further, a pre-authorized pending payment of Fifty-Eight Dollars and Seventy-Six Cents ($58.76) does apply for the trial offer for your initial fourteen (14) day trial membership ("Trial Membership"). This pending charge will remain active for up to thirty (30) days from your initial sign up day.

Does "pending payment" mean that I'll be able to receive my refund no later then 30 days after I signed up? When I agreed to this earlier I thought "pending" meant awaiting a decision or waiting until something happened or takes place. I interpreted this to mean that I would be billed $58.76 for my trial as well as a monthly fee of $58.76 AFTER I has made my decision to continue. Do I have the definition of "pending" wrong?

mrmike381 you seem to be more informed then the rest of us. What does your dictionary define "pending" as?

I ended up sending back my "Trial" to a P.O. Box. I was given that on the phone (twice).

I have now cancelled my credit card, and have a new one. The first charge of $14.90 has already on my new cc but the other one of $58. is nowhere to be seen (as Yet). I t had been pending with the other one. I did the live chat thing again and was assured that they would make no further charges. I just have to send the stuff back within the 14 days.
Wonder what will happen if I dont?
I said that I was in Australia so I cant get it back by then. She said they wont charge me. I have not received product yet. Chat operators dont seem to understand distance from USA to Australia.
Update. I read more of complaints on Yahoo and thought I would check again to see if I had been signed up for other products without my knowledge. Yep another chat session uncovered 2 more. They dont bother to mention that when you cancel the toothpaste you are still going to be charged every month for some useless weight loss program which I would never need in this lifetime because I am underweight and something vague about having access to special info on the website? This bit really is the scam!
I had to cancel them as well. I now have 3 seperate cancellation numbers and copies of all my chat sessions to prove this.
I asked if there were any more "products" that I had not authorised that I will be charged for in the future and she said " no everything is cancelled"
Now I am playing the waiting game. If I get the whitening stuff and just return to sender unopened will I have to pay return postage? Will it get back in time? Has that $58 really been cancelled?
Chat session revealed that they give a 60 day money back guarantee probably hoping that we would not bother to send it back so then they will charge the $58. My bank said if they do, I can dispute it and the first charge. I also rang the ACCC here in Australia and was told that I had to talk to the FTC in USA if it was originating from there but they said it did seem that the information was misleading.

I have had a total refund through my credit card. I refuse delivery of products & they are returned to sender. I've cancelled my card so no more worries. products still getting delivered but I don't accept as I cancelled my order & i was a free trial after all. Fight back you lot, it feels great I also block their emails & international call barred, ha ha ha, revenge is sweet

I too was suckered by ordering before reading all the online "fineprint" that you're giving DazzleWhite permission to ding your credit card not just for the lame "free trial S&H charges", but the affiliated memberships as well. Though I did not catch it prior to having my card charged several times over the past 2 months - when I did finally notice I went to my bank first to find exactly who these buggers were. I found a great bank VISA rep, who got online with me and spent well over an hour waiting on musak hold to speak to live representatives to help me cancel these bogus memberships. In the case of the affiliates, they agreed to refund the charges (seems they're scared of the banks). In the case of DazzleWhite - they want me to first return the unused portion of the trial product by registered mail... And once it has been received will process the refund the bank asked for. It remains to be seen whether they'll actually process the refunds - but my bank assures me that as long as I provide them with some evidence that I delivered the product, since they are witness to the offer of refund and took down all the cancellation information provided by DazzleWhite and the affiliate con group... that they will have the authority to charge back the DazzleWhite accounts for the amount of refund and will do so if they don't comply. By the way - brushing with baking soda and regular A&H whitening toothpaste works just as well as this muck. I'll warn everybody and anybody I can about this crap. First saw the ads on Facebook site.

Free trial sure after a 59.oo charge to my account. I called to cancel and was told that the 14 day trail was also a pending membership fees. Who said I signed up for membership well you do when you order the promo trail. there should be laws against scams like this. I also think we should start a class action to stop these things from taking our money we never authorized them to take. We all know that if I have not received the product and call to cancel the same day only hrs. after placing it that it can... be canceled but oh no they say no way I have to wait for the product and return at my cost and then get my money back... well people be careful and do not order any free trials it is true nothing is free...sad to say I learned the hard way...

Ordered Dazzle White because I'm a dumb @$$, canceled same day I ordered. Was billed 58.75 twice, a week apart, 3 weeks and 4 weeks after I canceled (same day of initial "free trial". Was then charged $7 and $3 for the "other services".

Called Dazzle White numerous times, customer service was little to no help, online chat even more pointless and they would not let me talk to a supervisor they said they are in a meeting every time I asked. Finally got Dazzle White to say they would refund the 2nd $58 charge after I threatened that I had tape recordings of the first conversation. After seeing the $7 and $3 charges from other companies and was told I would have to cancel them separately that's when I decided on a solution.

Solution:
Called my credit card company and told them there are 4 unauthorized charges on my account from a company which I have canceled with and continues to charge me. They credited my account back immediately. I then told them I did not trust the company with my credit card number since they have been handing it out to other companies and canceled my credit card. Which is true because I don't trust Dazzle White to not continue to charge my account even after I canceled since they had already.

Lesson:
Don't give out credit card number over the internet (or elsewhere for that matter) before validating company through 3rd parties.

Don't bother with Dazzle White customer service if you have signed up call your card company and cancel the account immediately and contest any charges that Dazzle White has posted through your bank. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO STOP CHARGING YOUR ACCOUNT OR REFUNDING ANY MONEY.


I'm not sure how contesting through the bank will go, Dazzle White has to show proof of sale which I'm not sure how they are going to do. But, having the piece of mind of my account being closed after this fiasco is good enough for me.


For those who have said this is a valid marketing campaign I agree it is somewhat "valid", "legal" but the other business practices of continuing to charge accounts after they are closed and giving credit card information to 3rd party businesses is obviously illegal and fraudulent.

nice mind. stay strong. I received another package that I couldnt refuse delivery as I was at work & as it was pushed through the door, it said if undelivered send to BTB etc etc.. It was a skinny parcel with one thin tiny tube inside, enough for a dazzling baby smile I thought? yes thats where its gone straight back in the mail, my card was cancelled & recredited by my bank, who were v supportive, that is the only way, dont waste your time chatting or ringing these idiots, see my previous posts before, but take out identity theft insurance as my bank says they can set up accounts/loans in your name that you can be liable for as they have enough personal details, argh...good luck all

I have been mislead and am so angry I saw this website http://www.momsteethstory.com/assumed she lived in Brisbane Qld Australia, (obviously not). There was no free trial for me, it's been over 4 weeks, sure Cathys website says it is $1.95 to pay for trial, instead unathorised cost of over US$15 was charged not $1.95 as stated. Another unathorised withdrawal for $4, from same company, bank said cancel order I did, then they immediately unauthorised again took some US$58 out of my card, because I cancelled. I haven't received the product to trial in the first place, to keep taking from a credit card, whether you call it scam, marketing tactics, give it any dam name you want, that's illegally stealing in my books. All AUSTRALIANs BEWARE their is no free trial or product in my case, and they don't honour that 14 day money will be refunded crap either. They'll charge you regardless, if they have your credit card details don't forget they can pass it onto any other merchants on their website.

Have anyone sent back the item, got refunded the money, and DID NOT get any further charges from Dazzle White and any other 3rd parties (at least 4 weeks later)?

I ordered Dazzle White on 6/12. Canceled everything the same night I found out that I had a pending transaction of $58.76. Got charged $3.24 from "Insider Secrets" on 6/26. Then I recently got charged $58.76 on 7/02/09 AFTER I canceled the same day I ordered (which was 2 weeks later!). My goodness! I also called "Comprehensive Weight Loss" and canceled them too before they decide to charge me $7.14 for their e-books. Now I hope the $7.14 will not get charged to my account because I canceled them before I see any charges from "Comprehensive Weight Loss" done to my account.

I am in the process of returning the item to them. I couldn't call my bank today because it's Independence Day, so I have to wait till Monday to reach them and talk to them concerning this issue. What do you think they'll do? Will they reimburse my money? Will they tell me to send the item back and wait to see what happens? Anyone who have dealt w/ the bank please share your experience. I also heard that some customers closed their account, opened a new one, and still see charges from Dazzle White. Tell me this is not true. I just want to get out of this ASAP.

We all have enough stress and problems to deal with in our lives. We do not need anymore additional stress and inconveniences.

Wow!!! Who knew. I think we have some law minded people helping us out. So bottom line...what do we do about all this...personal info that these crooks have, etc. My credit card is still active for about 10 more days. I'm just holding my breath.
