Match.com emails

I never paid them so I have not signed up. They sent emails anyway. I updated my preferences to stop the emails evidently to no avail. Will I have to bring legal action to stop their harassment? This started in 02/2016. I would have thought I had done what was required. I just want the emails to stop.

Match.com fake profiles

I decided to try Match.com and had no luck. I never received any emails from ladies. And when I emailed any of the matches they send me every day I never received a response! I believe that most of the profiles are fake. It is absolutely ridiculous. I have emailed customer care a many times but received no response. I checked the reviews and realized that this website is just another scam. I left my review on their Facebook page and got a reply stating that I need to contact their support via Match.com. I tried so many times, and they never answered me! Avoid this horrible website! All they need is you money!

Match.com unwanted automatic resubscription

Without any notification, match.com raided my account and took out money. Match.com did not alert me that my subscription was expiring but in a stealth like manner, just raided my bank account. While my online account showed the debit was "still pending", I cancelled my match.com account and called them up. They still would not return my money.

Immediately cancel your credit card next time something like this happens. You can also dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Match.com worst dating site online!

A week ago I joined match.com. Free accounts are quite useless, so I decided to subscribe. When you purchase a membership you actually expect something special, but you still have to pay for all extra options. The most annoying thing is their customer service. I doubt that it even exists. While their android app is somewhat user friendly, their website is designed very poorly. The majority of profiles are fake. They need to do something about that otherwise their website will not survive. Their customer service is completely ridiculous and unprofessional. I was a member for only a week and got very tired of the fake profiles that contact me on a daily bases. There are way better dating websites out there.

Match.com never again!

I joined Match thinking that it is free, but I have no idea what part of it is free. Yes, it is actually free to put your name in and that's about it. I joined the site, made a profile and then received a message stating that they need my credit card information and that I need to subscribe. Well, I subscribed and started getting emails from people. I received over 20 messages in less than an hour. Most of the messages had the names of the towns spelled wrong. Who doesn't know how to spell where they live? All the people who tented me were too perfect, they looked like real movie stars. People who are actually looking like that don't waste their time on some dating sites! It makes no difference because all they want is your money. It's best to stay away from Match, you'll never find a true love here. The only thing they're trying match is your money with their pockets. Avoid this website.

Match.com dating site false charges

I enrolled on 9/6/15 and immediately that day canceled my subscription. I was billed $98.96 on my discover card. I would like the amount refunded to my credit card account. I called the number on my billing statement and the number is no longer in service.

Match.com do not use this site!

I purchased a subscription to this website and they gave me a 7 day free trial. I tried the site, didn't like it and decided to cancel my subscription. But they refused to give my money back and ignored all my messages. When I tried to call their customer service the line was busy. I tried again later and was on hold like forever. After 30 minutes waiting on hold the call was disconnected. What is sad is that several years I was pretty satisfied with Match because back then they were a good reputable company. I decided to sign up for the second time and realized that now they are like the majority of dating websites. They really don't care about their clients anymore.

Match.com stay away from this website!

Do not pay these people your money! I will continue to post bad reviews about Match.com to save people from them! I had a subscription, but cancelled it 2 or 3 years ago. Yesterday I decided to check the card I had used and realized they are still charging me for this! Today is January 7, 2016 and I am just getting in contact with them. I was told they can only cancel my account, but they would not refund me. I did try to log on to my old account, but the website told me I needed to subscribe. Their site told me that I don’t have a subscription, so why are they still taking my money? This is the most ridiculous company I have ever heard of and it has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with them. Stay away from this website and never give them your card number!

It proves that law enforcement agencies are a joke.they have been doing this for years. That's why lawsuit is needed.class action.but no lawyers have the courage to do that.credit cards turn a blind eye.then they wonder why there is no respect for law enforcement agencies.Matthew

Match.com online dating scam

Met Mr. Tyers on Match.com. We exchanged message and then continued to talk via email, then finally text and phone calls. His profile says he lives in New York, but I learned through our conversation that he was working in the UAE as an Engineer on a oil rig and is from Ireland. Through some additional investigation he may live in Washington State. After a month exchanging very romantic emails, then texts, and finally phone calls, the first emergency happened, and then the next, and the next, and the next. At the end of the day, I end up sending him over $6000.00, with an understanding he would pay me back when he comes to see me. It was all a lie. He never came and stopped calling when I finely wised up and said I was going to get the authorities involved. Moneygram and Western Union was informed of this scam, became they were the vehicles for which the money was sent. They agreed not to allow anymore transactions to be sent to this individual. I feel that Match.com holds some level of responsibility. My question to Match.com is how are they screening people placing profiles on their site? How can a person who lives oversees create a profile stating he lives in New York. In case of an investigation, how can subscribers instruct the police to contact the scam artist? I feel that Match.com enabled the fraud to occur by not creating security measures that prevent criminals/scam artist to post profiles on their site.

I seem to have found the same man or someone using this name on zoosk. But he's a very good looking white man. We ve talked on personal emails. He did say he's an engineer working in Dubai right now. We didn't get far enough for me him to ask me for money because I googled him and found this. I sent it to him. Of course I haven't heard anything back. Is there really a Randall Tyers? He told me he has a 16 yr old daughter, Jodie. And that he's a widow. I looked up his pic on tineye but nothing came up. I would love for somebody to tell me he's real but I'm sure that's unlikely.

Match.com automatic billing

I signed up for this service nearly a year ago and was totally disappointed. Today I received my credit card bill and was charged for another three months! $68.97 of worthless service. I called the company and they said when i signed up I agreed to automatic billing. That's funny because several months ago I had to authorize another three months of service. They refuse to give me a refund. I am furious. This is one big ripoff.

Match.com unauthorized charge

I want to try it for 3 months and then I found out this website was not good and they keep charging me every 3 months for $77 automatically. So I called my bank to stop the payment because they posted it 2 day ago. Then my bank set up 3 ways conversation to try to get a full refund of the recent charge. And then Match.com repond that they will give the refund for $26.01 to me. I think Match.com is a real scam website. Do not do business with this website.

Match.com subscription

They are a con group and they know it and the Attorney General's Office in Dallas was advised. They have about 30 % of an active website - all others are former or made up profiles. This is proven by doing a search - say 100 people are returned - and then noting that but about 30 are still ACTIVE. This is a fraud and intentional. Usually small money to individuals but on a massive scale for a large corporation, e.g. Verizon etc. They are being promised 10 million users and only 3 million are still there. And I have also experienced unauthorized billing of my credit card.

Match.com unauthorized billing

I canceled my subscription on 11/27/15, a day before it ended as I had heard that the company scams people and auto bills if there is any wiggle room in the cancelation details. I noticed I was continuing to get emails so I went back in the following day and went through all the prompts to cancel again. My membership was still active so I checked my paypal account to find out if this was an error or I had been billed. Sure enough they had made an unauthorized charge for another 3 months of membership. I called and sat on hold for 20 minutes before I finally spoke with someone who told me it was canceled a day late (my first time of cancelling conveniently wasn't showing up). I wasn't getting anywhere so I asked to speak to a supervisor. They told me the same thing and even though it was only a day later, told me they would not refund my money. The man just kept repeating their policy of auto renewal and wouldn't listen to anything I said about having clicked on "continue cancellation" three seperate times in the process. What happens is the first time you do this is doesn't take you through all the steps before allowing you to think you have completed it. IT gives you no confirmation number. Then when you go back in to repeat it as you notice it is still active, it takes you through the same process with an additional step. That second cancellation attempt is the only one they act aware of and use the excuse of "you did it to late". I went in to Paypal and declined the transaction so we will see what happens. Never using this company again.

Match.com daily emails

I have the same complaint as a number of people: I have requested that daily emails be stopped. I have sent multiple requests. Not only do I not get any reply but the emails keep coming. I have not been a subscriber to match in a long, long time. This behavior on their part is totally spam. I don't know who the governing authority is (if there even is one) about this type of stuff but Match.com obviously does not care about the negative image they are creating for themselves. Anyway, if someone has had any success with stopping them, I'd love to know about it. Thanks.

Match.com unauthorised payments

Date: 20/10/2015 Customer number: [protected]. Continual cash withdrawals from my account from a company I joined believing it to be free for three months. The company without my consent has been taking monthly payments without either my knowledge or consent. This has caused me distress because I am on a low income earner and I did not use this site for some time and I have not received any updates or correspondence from them.

Match.com false id not who he says to be

I joined match.com and was introduced to a man who I was interested in. We had begun emailing each other and started sharing things. He was slick with the info and how I was his the love of his life. Too good to be true. Did a background check on him including his military info. and it came back that there was no such person in the military. The pictures he sent me were fake. I also found that he is one of these people who scam ladies to get their money. Needless to say I dropped all communication with him and cancelled my subscription with match.com
