To, Maruti Suzuki IndiaSubject: Complaint in Delay car delivery for Maruti Suzuki Celerio AMT Version against dealer Shivam AUtozone, Shop No. G003/3A, Raghuleela Mall Showroom, Behind Poisar Bus Depot, Kandivali(W), Mumbai - 400 067Dear Sir/Madam, I have booked the car Maruti Suzuki on first week of February and dealer told us thatyour car will be delivered within 1 and Half month. After 2 months we were trying to call himbut no one is responding properly. They are saying that delay is from Maruti Suzuki side.We can't do any thing.Now they have given have given date of delivery in June and July. On this month you will get confirmationfrom Maruti Side. I though they are taking extra money from customer and giving them on priority basisand earlier booking customer suffers from this.Please take necessary action against them so that they can be delivered car as per bookings are done and we willget car as soon as possible early.As we are facing this problems, might be there are others customer also facing the same issue.Main In charge persons name in Shivam Autozone are below, Mr. Mandar and Mr. AbdulYours Sincerely, Customer

Happened with me as well. I booked Celerio AMT Blue on feb 3rd week. Still no clue where is my car. It has been 4 months now...
wait seems to be forever. I came to know that Varun Motors TolliChawki, Hyderabad is asking for some extra money as well. I am not sure if they have sold my car to somebody else. This is really painful. Now I heard that it will be delivered in Oct-Nov. What to do abt this? Is this delay casued by Maruti or by Varun Motors? I dont think its by Maruti. Its all Varun Motors. whatever, I got stuck.

I booked the Maruti Celerio AMT on 10th March & no information when It will be delivered.
Booked at bagga link at Patparganj. Can we get any info ?
so that we can decide to wait or go for some other brands .

After taking test drive, I immediately booked a Celerio VXi (AMT). While booking I was informed that the car will be ready for delivery after 6 weeks but the gentleman verbally assured me that it will not take more than 3 weeks. I booked the car on 12th March, 2014 but I am still in dark about the delivery of the car.
With deep regret I would like to state here that a highly reputed organisation like Maruti has launched a new concept car (Celerio AMT) in India without any market survey and knowing their own production capacity. They have already booked millions of cars with the advance payment when their production capacity is only a few thousands and the most regrettable part is that the Maruti Dealers are still continue booking of Celerio when they don’t know the delivery status of Celerio car. It seems that the Maruti Udyog Ltd. is one of the most disorganised modern organisations in India.

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog complaint against dealer

Dear Sir,
I purchased a Maruti Alto Lx to gift my eight year old daughter, on 29 of Sep from Akkansha Moradabad. I reached at showroom around at 2:30 pm and they delivered the car to me around 7:30-7:45 pm. It was too late and dark so I couldn’t see any scratch or dent on car and infact I was not hoping such a thing. I took my car and parked at my home. In the morning I found a big dent on left side front door and there was no scratch on that dent and there was no air in all four wheels (I have good enough place to park 10 cars and its quite safe.)so I immediately moved to showroom I told them about that and Mr.Vipin Kumar (C.G.M Aakansha) not only accepted his fault but also asked showroom people to change the door. But on that new door I found some patches I asked Mr. Vipin for this but he replied that patches will get vanished after polish but patches are still in same condition. I have one photo which I received from Marti showroom to prove 1. It was too dark to check a car and 2. There was no space on the left side to check such a big dent. 3. And with help of this photo you can make slices of photo to see, very clearly 3 small dents on top of the car. After two days I left for Dehradun, there I parked my car in hotel parking and I was going upstairs and I found some dents on the top of car (on the roof) and immediately I came down to see the dents and when I was checking those dents I found a dent at the back too(on boot space/cargo volume door) so at the same time I informed Mr. Vipin Kumar (C.G.M Aakansha) and I asked me to come to showroom. I went there two times but he was not in showroom. And now neither Vipin Kumar (C.G.M Aakansha) nor showroom people are ready to listen me. They are saying that these dents are because of some accidents which is not true. I am driving from last twenty years. After driving around 972 km I checked engine oil in car and I found only 30% of oil if engine has consumed 70% oil in only 972 km mean there is something wrong with engine or company people are doing nothing during PDI or might be they are giving less than required oil. I request you to check it in company showroom, if showroom people are in this bad practice to steal oil from new cars, you can catch them easily. Who will be responsible if engine will get ceased because of less oil?

Twice in a week I am going to showroom but they are not ready to listen me. Yesterday on 25-oct-2013 after denouncement that I am going mail a complain letter to company they promised me to change the door of dikki (boot space/cargo volume door) but they are not ready to listen about the dents on top of the car. Now they have asked me to wait for ten days as they don’t have Maruti Alto Lxof silver colour in stock to change the door.

I have firm faith in Maruti Suzuki. Hope you people will take a serious action about this. Hope 72 hours are more than enough to take a serious action against showroom owner and CGM (Mr.Vipin Kumar) of the showroom. Hope Company will let me enjoy my car and Company won’t compel me to take any legal action

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog defect in headlight and foglight

Respected sir/mam

Hello, my self mohit bhadla from junagadh gujarat. I am having new swift dzire vdi and 8 month old. reg no is gj11ab3933.

I am facing problem basically comes in headlight and fog light.

When am driving in rainy season moisture comes in h. light as well as fog light.

Many times I have been registered this complain in my nearest maruti dealer perfect auto service junagadh. regarding this but they have not respond me properly. the service man mr. nilesh also accept this problem during observation.

I believe that in brand new car this should not be happen.

Dealer forward all that detail to regional manager but regional manager mr krupesh shah. avoid and reply that they are not providing any solution.

And also he accept that this problem actually comes in some of brand new car. when stayed in stockyard.

Also dealer is not ready to make in writing to me that this fault is not repairable.

And at last mujhe apni gadi leke vapas jana pada.

Again I registered this complain in maruti customer care ([protected]).

But automatically my complained was closed by regional manager mr krupesh shah. without inform me.

I am sending you that image pls find.

Please please.. do very needful for this..

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog dissatisfied service provided by spectra motors, ghatkopar

My Name is Deryck Rodrigues (Mobile: [protected]). I am very disappointed with the service provided my Maruti Authorized Service Center (Spectra Motors, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai). My vehicle is Maruti Alto CNG Reg. NO. MH 03 BE 8092.

During my last service I had informed the advisor that my engine is vibrating while working on petrol. The engineer charged me Rs 1000 apart from the other charges and give me feedback that the petrol fuel jet was jammed and has been cleaned. However even after that the problem persists.
I immediately called customer relationship manager and reported the issue which continued even after Spectra advisor said the problem is resolved.

During the recent paid service, I informed the service advisor Mr. Abhilash the same problem of vehicle engine vibrating when I am running the vehicle in petrol BUT do not have any issue when running it on CNG. The advisor this time charged me additional Rs. 350 for tap-head settings and said that the problem was with Taphead and it will not be resolved.
Even after that the problem persists. I informed my dissatisfaction to Mr. Kishore (The Works Manager), however he did not agree to my complain and said that this is common for all Alto CNG vehicles as they have 3 cylinders.

I was further informed by Mr. Kishore that he will come back to me after he checks the similar issue with some other Alto CNG vehicle. I have not been committed of any resolution and there has been push back answers coming from Spectra Motors Works manager.

Till date I am not able to get satisfied answer to my issue and the problem persists. I am very DISSAPOINTED with the type of response given by the Maruti Authorized service center like Spectra.

Kindly look into the issue faced and let me know the next course of action.

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog sold dented painted car in new

T R Sawhney Motors, a dealer of Maruti Suzki has sold me a old car (dented and painted) as a new and charged full amount of new car. Later on during some cleaning i came to know that this car is already dented and painted, then i have complaint about it in Maruti. Then dealer has contacted me and he is offering that he will re-paint it. He has done fraud and cheated me. Maruti is not taking any action against the dealer and even even Maruti has closed my complaint without asking me. Please helpout if anyone has some thought, how to handle them.

Dear Sir,

My self Mr. Amlan Keshari purchased a Maruti 800 from SKY auto
Mobile, Bhubaneswar on
23-11-2012. After purchase this vehicle I suffered many problems, I
found one dent on left
side back door when I purchased this vehicle, the showroom side
convinced they repair the
same on first servicing. But after when approach first time they
regrets and later I complained
higher authority and after they consider for repair.

when I first test drive the same vehicle I found the second gear was
not properly worked the
showroom officers said the same problem will shutout within first
servicing, I took the same
vehicle and used but several time faced the same problem, I informed
about the same
problem to service centered and they conveyed they solve the same on
first servicing. My
first servicing was done on 14-12-2012 but it was not shutout, later
I faced some more
problems in the vehicle that AC not working, break not functioning well.

So I again visited to SKY Auto and checked my vehicle for the same
problem on 26-02-2013
but when I received vehicle after checked service centre I was not
satisfied I told them
problem is not resolve, they said after running 300 to 400 kilometers
the problem will shutout.

I agreed and took the vehicle from service centre but the same
problem still arises in the
vehicle, finally on 16-03-2013 I was again visited to SKY auto and
informed them about same
problem. They took my vehicle for repairing, I was delivered my
vehicle in service station on
16-03-2013 for repairing, the same evening I got call from service
center that my vehicle was
repaired, I moved to service center and test drive my vehicle but I
didn’t feel little bit improve
on Gear, Break and AC problem.

I deny to take my vehicle from the service center because I was not
satisfied vehicle repairing, I feel this is manufacture defect which
reason it was not repaired after repeated services.

Finally I decide I will not take my vehicle from service center due
to the above mentioned
problem arises in the vehicle repeatedly, still the vehicle is in
custody of SKY Auto,
Bhubaneswar, I am not satisfied with company services. This is
completely manufacture
defect so I request to MARUTI COMPANY to took my vehicle and
reimburse my whole
amount what I paid during purchase or replace the vehicle on any other segment.

The same information we passed to Consumer advice centre when we
couldn’t get any fruit
full result from your side. This is the final reminder from my side
to take appropriate step in
my case, because the same mater we discussed with CAC and as advised
by CAC this is
final reminder to take action in this case else the same will take
care by CAC Bhubaneswar
in future.

i had given my maruti 800 for service to s.b.cars pvt ltd at kanpuron 25th january 2010. .durng the service mobil oil of the engine was not changed which resulted in the engine break down. it was atotal negligence onthe part of the dealer. so please take appropriate action against the dealer. car regn no.up-79A/9865 JOB CARD NO.JC09009684. my contactno. I have purchased new maruti car 800, on 1 october 2009, from dealer TRI CITY, zirakpur, at that time they have committed Rs. 2500 return cheque against govt. employee scheme within a week after purchase. but we didn't get any cheque from their side. Also they are not giving any suitable reason for the delay. Kindly take the necessary action as soon as possible.

In august 2012 I met with an accident with my car, I kept my car on 17th aug competent automobiles co ltd ghazipur for the repair. on the same day the servier given the permission for the job card given to the denter and at that time they promised me that they will give me he best services with in four or five days they said you collect your car but today ie.22nd aug. when I reach competant there is my car as it is there is no work on that I contact with the concern person (mr, negi & mr. kishore) he had no answer of my question he said that we don't have the parts of maruti if they dont have parts why they take my car for the service. as I request to you that please take the action of my complaint as early as possible. I am the regular customer of competent automobiles ghazipur but in that time I am really disappointed with there services

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog poor suspension and turbo

Hi guys.. bought a new swift dzire, I am having a tough time with this car, after just 1600kms cars turbo spoiled, after that now some problem in suspension, company workshop fellows trying from last 2 wks, problem unsolved, they tried and replaced parts, no correction till date, now recent diagnosis, problem in axel of car (crack etc), horrible, I think maruti is using inferior quality products as they know that car is selling like a hot cake, and yes, mileage of my car on highway, 17 kmlit only, think twice before buying this car...

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog pathetic service

I would like to bring to the notice of the management of Maruti about the kind of PATHETIC service I have received from Maruti’s authorized service station (The Bodyshop - Berkeley at Chandigarh Phase 1 Industrial Area) . I met with an accident on 9th of this month and gave my car (The new Swift “CH 38 T -8162”) at the bodyshop the very next day for repair. I was told by Mr. Ramesh Aggarwal the I would have to pay around 3k or less rest would be covered in insurance and the car would be ready in 3 days. I came the next day to check about the repairs and found out that the delivery date had been changed from 3 days to 5 days. I came after 5 days and I was told that the silencer was not in stock and it would take another few days. Everything was right up till now. I got a call on 19th of March that my car is ready for delivery. I went to the service station and checked that there was a dent on the newly replaced boot cover (Dicky) – the paint was also coming off in patches from the same, the colour of the rear bumper and body do not match at all, the cover on the alloys was stolen, the sculpture of Lord Ganesha which was pasted on the dash was stolen.
After complaining about the following to the manager in charge I was told that it’s okay, after some arguments I was told the you can leave the car for another 2 to 3 days we will repair it again. And when asked about the stolen items I was told that Sir they are of very low cost so they don’t matter.
I again went to The Bodyshop and to get the issue fixed and I was told that I would get the delivery in the evening by 05:00PM but was later informed in the evening that it would take an entire day and for better results to come tomorrow evening I went the next day to find out that still the colors do not match perfectly and the sides which were completely alright were scrubbed off and repainted so that the color could match, the rubbing and polishing were not done perfectly and it was so patchy. I again complained and asked for a explanation from the Manager they said just give us some more time and we will take care of it. Still there are some parts off the car which have not been painted and rubbed off properly.
I would request you to please look into the matter and ensure that customers who put their trust in the name of Maruti do not have to suffer through this pathetic service.
Please ensure that someone is employed for inspection of the work done before calling the customers for delivery.
Apart from this who will pay for my time and inconvenience?

I agree Mr Prashant. I have been to Berkely and have faced similar problems. I hope someone from Berkely contacts you and compensate for the time and damages they have caused to you. I would rather suggest you to also contact the Consumer Court.

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog illegal handling charges charged by dd motors (wazirpur) delhi

Dear Sir

Your Dealer DD Motors, wazirpur, Delhi is illegaly charging handling charges/logistic charges of alomst 4500 for every car which is not allowed as per transport authority and delhi high court orders.Plz take action against the dealer as fast.
The dealer is even showing this on its website in price list not afraid of anything.

The dealer says that these charges are levied by Maruti only. And from this month (May 2012), compnay has increased Handling charges on all cars by Rs 1500 !

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog first & reverse gear not working

I have got a Maruti Dzire which is 15 months old. Yesterday, the gear lever suddenly in the middle of a busy road stopped working for first and second gear. I took the vehicle to Sai Motors at Phugewadi, Pune who treated the issue very casually, said that this occurs frequently and said that the matter was not covered under warranty.
It is surprising that such a grave matter is treated so casually by a reputed company like Maruti Suzuki. The problem is occurring due to a small rubber bush (Part Number 25625-79J00) which gets breaks - Maruti should treat this as a grave issue and do some design corrections so that the gear system does not fail due to this part, however miniscule it may be, as it may lead to accidents.

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog poor service and loot billing on service

Dear Sir,
In city Jagadhri Pandit Automobile is the only Maruti Service Center so people are forced to go there for servicing their vehicle. Whenever I have gone to this service station they tell me all rubbish things to do. Like Engine Flashing worth Rs350, some rubbish oiling worth Rs450. And every time they try to make the bill amount as big as possible regardless what is needed or not.
I am trying since long time to complaint against them but I cant see any place where this can be escalated to Maruti company and I dont know why company does not take action against them. Even if there are check lists available to every service dealer but they do not use any one of it. These are the certain things letting down the Maruti company and our country.

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog booking of car

Sir,

I have booked Swift Vdi on Date : 29.09.11, from Modern AutoMobiles Chandigarh., Recipt Number - 43593, for Rs. 10, 000.00. in the name of Anjali Gupta W/O Mr. Sumeet Gupta. That time they told me that I will be getting the delivery after 2-3 month or Maximum of 4 Months, but as today its been around 4 months, and when I contacted them for the delivery, they told me that it will take around 3 Months more.
They also said that if I want the delivery then I have to pay the whole amount + Premium amount of Rs 40000/- for quick delivery of the car, which is also known as Black Selling. when asked to dealer he is blaming the company for the delay. and if he is right i must say the company is not professional and they should stop writing COUNT ON US.

And now, I don't want get myself into this problem, but I also Need the car as soon as possible.
Kindly help me regarding this, and take a suitable action for this,

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog uninformed insurance claims by dealer

My parents had purchased an Alto Standard car in 2004 from Popular Vehicles & Services [PV&S], Kottayam in 2004. Recently they decided to get a new car on an exchange basis. Several car companies - Maruti Suzuki, AVG, etc., around here in Pathanamthitta district came to review the car in our possession to get a fair value for an exchange package. We were very surprised, when all of them informed that the bonnet of the car was a replaced one, and were reluctant to believe this at first. We have ALWAYS only serviced the car from the PV&S at Kottayam. Their personnel used to call to remind about services, insurance renewal, etc., and found that arrangement to be satisfactory. Only once was any major repairs done on this car when a Tempo van had reversed and bumped at the back of our car. The door of the back dicky and a door of the posterior on one side had to be changed, and as far as we know when insurance was claimed.

In 2009 on service we were informed of a rusted cross-beam supporting the engine, which was replaced in total but as far as we are aware no insurance was claimed for this. However at that time we were not at all satisfied with the services provided fromt here and our several enquiries about a few things remain unattended till date.

On 25th November based on our phone call on intent to get a new vehicle, a personnel from PV&S came to review the car and we were informed that there had been 3 claims for insurance [from ICICI Lombard], about major repairs due to ACCIDENTS done on this car. Please remember that this car has ONLY been serviced by the PV&S at Kottayam all these 7.5 years. My question is how has this happened and why were the owners NOT informed of this fact?. AND now on the basis of all these a much lower price is being offered for this car and that too ONLY if we also purchase a new car from them!

We find this to be very unfair trade practices and demand to know what the Popular Vehicles & Services had been up to all these years. Were they claiming insurance [over & above what was being paid for services by the owners] for "cooked" up coverages, and or, for damages incurred at their hand. Or is this a case of conniving between dealers and insurance company?

My aged parents are, naturally, very, very upset by all this. I want a full enquiry into this and fair compensation for damages on this car which has been hidden from the owners. This car is being used by my parents exclusively; it has never been driven by anyone on hire basis and without one of us being in the car. Our use of this car is only for transport to places around here and very rarely has it been used to travel very far. We want a satisfactory explanation for all this and at the earliest.

Maruti Suzuki India / Maruti Udyog 5th gear failure-multiple times

i have 2008 model swift vdi clocked 43000 kms. Recently 5th gear lock failed in my swift. And this is the 3rd time in las 10000 kms. The reason for failure is still unknown. Im afrraid that it will fail again. Authorised service station cant find the reason for it.
